<p>Yeah bummer on Suzuki but long term he's still going to end up back in Japan.</p><p> </p><p>

At the moment I'm planning on hiring the others on the list plus trying to get Mio Shirai & Sara Del Rey out of retirement for long term investment before moving them back into their current roles. I was stunned at how useful Fuka is. Yuzuki Aikawa as well - she's a decent investment for eye candy who if you hire for everything can work matches and as a ref back-up. Koharu Hinata is a decent talent as well 29yo, 70 sex appeal and 59.7 ref, give her some time and she'll be a good ref. Staff in Japan is really shallow but there are some people that have really good multi-purpose stats.</p><p> </p><p>

Announcing is such a dead zone in Japan - makes sense I suppose as they don't really go for entertainment as much so their announcers tend towards the dry side. Colour is worse but some of the vets have the stats to transition well.</p><p> </p><p>

What I find funny is that on the young worker side the talent is really meh. I think that's a case of the Young Lion thing meaning that people don't see those guys true skill level until a bit later. I've never really looked closely at the Japanese scene before and it's kind of fascinating to see the differences and try to find ways around the issues. Liger being a potentially good commentator, Chono as a colour guy, Fuka long term etc.</p>

So, loaded up a view save and simmed 1 day, Austin Aries is the first ever LQW World Junior Heavyweight Champion, Kazarian is the LQW Lucha Libre Champion, Conor McGregor has teamed with Sanada as 'Purity of Purpose', and to the surprise of no one, TJ Wilson has picked up an injury

Hah. Before the first show, WWA stole Gedo from me and made him their head booker. Also outbid me for Jushin Thunder Liger and have made bids for my road agent. This starts well... <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Look at what you've done... That 2nd one is a main event... This is why we can't have nice things</p>

<p>So the restriction setting is turned off (not sure if that's intentional or not).</p><p> </p><p>

Assuming it was I set out on my course for Global Domination. First up it's massively increasing the size of my roster without breaking the bank. Figured I'd mention what I am doing so you can see how it compares tot he somewhat haphazard AI.</p><p> </p><p>

Japan is weak on announcers & colour so I make contract offers to Fuka (set to whatever needed), Jushin Thunder Liger (who I pay a premium for), Aika Ando (who is a joshi wrestler but has potential thanks to really good mic skills) & Ultramantis Black (who needs Japanese lessons). All 4 can be used in ring but can be also used to fill out my announcing roles long term. Weirdly my announce team may end up more CHIKARA like than CHIKARA JAPAN - with Liger, Ultramantis & Fuka.</p><p> </p><p>

I need girls and I decide to double up on refs by coaxing Mio Shirai out of retirement, I make an offer to Yuzuki Aikawa who is ordinary in ring but super hot (I need to offer her a whatever needed contract in case I use her in ring but she's cheap), since the restrictions are off I pick up Kennadi Brink too. </p><p> </p><p>

Then it's time to coax Sara Del Rey out of in ring retirement. Long term she'll be my road Agent but right off bat she'll help fill out my womens division. I may even get her to wiggle suggestively at Cesaro to encourage his defection later on.</p><p> </p><p>

Those 8 signings will give my staff roles multiple coverage and give me 6 additional womens wrestlers and 2 veteran male workers only 1 of them particularly expensive.</p><p> </p><p>

A check on unemployed Great workers under 40 shows Susumu Yokosuka but he's got a decline role (as stated in the negotiations) so I pass on him. Same goes with Adam Pearce when I see if he would come out of retirement. Slightly older Gail Kim is fine though so I sign her (then something bothers me and I check the spreadsheet and discover she is supposed to be employed but hence my last post). I also take 45yo Doug Williams. Those 2 are on 1 year deals because I don't like keeping people beyond their use by date - I can always resign them in a year if they are still going strong.</p><p> </p><p>

I then check for unemployed people with Great Star Quality. Doug's old British Invasion tag partner Nick Aldis who is only 30 shows up. Mickie James makes a decent pairing with Aldis so her too. Cheap Shockwave the Robot compliments Liger & Ultramantis and is a good high flyer with really good SQ. Vader's kid Jesse White has decent SQ and stats so I bring him in. Just because they are available without the restrictions on I bring in Dave Bautista & Jason Momoa for a Marvel vs DC feud because it makes me smile to think of Drax vs Aquaman. Lastly Ryan Nemeth (Dolph's brother) is a decent buy.</p><p> </p><p>

I need Tag Teams so I go for Marshall & Ross Von Erich. I plan on having them with Jesse White (Van Vader).</p><p> </p><p>

Jordan Devlin comes in with his mentor Finn Balor</p><p> </p><p>

I notice 2 Finns (the country not Balor) that seem like they have potential and check Finland and find a girl with a really fun photo and the transgender girl (which is a kind of left field gimmick I can see in Japan) . So welcome Valentine, Kristian Kurki, Sara Elektra & Jessica Love. Long term Europe is empty and it makes sense to have a few for a possible expansion later on and these 4 have some appeal as a Stable. Only Sara Elektra is normally not available in Japan.</p><p> </p><p>

I get Shane Haste and figure Adam Brooks, Demi Bennett & Kellyanne English are worth a punt from Australia. As are Aaron Henry Johnny Idol & Dahlia Black from New Zealand. If I expand it would be Europe, Australia, Mexico as those 3 areas are cheaper to expand into. Hence getting a few of my countrymen/women and a few Kiwis. I held off on Mexicans because that's a few years away at best. </p><p> </p><p>

Lastly I want some younger women (Max 32) to fill out my roster. Syuri, Hikaru Shida, DASH Chisako, Hana Kimura and I pick up Alex Lee because well she's a cool chick & the Queen of Strong Style Goddammit! I also figured I'd take Bea Priestley to try to prise Will Osprey away from CKJ (Sorry Dr.A but all's fair in love and wrestling promotion).</p><p> </p><p>

37 extra signings but almost all are the min level contracts. Basically Bautista's 1 yr deal and Liger's contract are worth close to as much as the rest of them put together. Gail Kim, Mickie, Sara del Rey and Doug Williams were all between 3.5 and 7 thousand. Everyone else are perfect for what they are younger talent with at least one or two stats that are way above average or they are under 25 with the kind of stats that indicate they could grow into something. Most will be on my B show or jobbing on my A show but I've basically doubled my Roster size for less than 100K a month. That's 2 Okadas. I might miss out on some if the AI tries to outbid me but I doubt too many of them will be picked up.</p><p> </p><p>

That might seem a lot of people but almost all will be on the B show and are investments in my future and Trios/Tag divisions. I might go a 2nd A show if the ratings and need is enough - I'll likely spend 6 months settling though.</p><p> </p><p>

I then went on to Broadcasting - The First year is about growing the brand so I'm going small. YouTube Red gives me small in USA, Canada, Mexico & Australia and I put RAW Attitude & Events on that. I put them on YouTube Europe for Britain & Europe. Hopefully in a year I will have someone more willing to pay for my product outside of Japan.</p><p> </p><p>

Okada is made WWA Japan's figurehead because I'm not an idiot.</p><p> </p><p>

Took a look and I'm okay contract wise - a few midcarders and both my announcers are up in the first 6 months but none of my big guys. If Dos Caras leaves I'm not exactly going to cry about it. Elsewhere some other companies haven't been so lucky I'm sure so I shortlist all the rosters. </p><p> </p><p>

National Battle wise I'm number 1,The worlds only International company Tier One is 2nd whilst Chikara Japan is also at a National level and sit's 3rd. It's 3242, 3151 & 2924 so it's going to be an AI bloodbath because the AI does not work and play well with others which means I have to scrap to survive. There is only one answer - CHIKARA Japan must die so that WWA Japan can live.</p>

So I ran for a month and decided as noble as the strategy of encouraging youth is that was too awkward. Going to download the 1.5 and go with the boring but proven tactic of hiring vets with popularity. I was winning Japan but I really couldn't use my young talent. I am just going to go with another a show and the vets.

My B Show is set at 1.5hrs rather than the 2hrs it's supposed too. No biggie as it's easy to fix in game but if you haven't done the data yet you can tweak that.

What happened in mine was similar except LLLL was more of a powerhouse. Tier one buys everybody it can. WWE raids CHIARA super hard, in my watcher they took Marafuji, then Omega, then Nakamura after the fall to cult. Critics do love LQW.</p>
