WMMA5 Small Questions Thread

Recommended Posts

<p>Ah gotcha. Thanks! Yah starting to really make headway on making $$$. Started out profiting 25k if I was lucky to pulling in 1.6mil per month off of one show a month.</p><p> </p><p>

Ah yes one other thing I was wondering, if there any downsize to signing with a media company and never using them ? I don't know which media companys will make me the most profit so I just try to hire as many as I can and then when I went from regional to national I hired all those that became available then I just auto fill all my events. If I don't use their full amount of shows or get to the end of the yearly contract will I get hit with a fine or have any negative impact on my company ???? Lol I am fearing the Media company's are going to all hit me with fines and wipe me completely out of the millions I have made thus far :/</p>

How do I end my first Reality TV season ? Team Struve beat Team Davis and has two fighters left. Do I just match them during any event and after the match ends I can start a new season ??? What about the coaches, do they need to fight also ? My Reality TV season has been over for 5 months or so..... the last two members of the season are set to fight at a event I have planned in a month and a half.

It's not necessary to have the coaches fight each other.</p><p> EDIT - there's also a waiting period before you can start the next season. I think it's one month after that final fight but can't remember for sure. Might be as many as three months.</p>

Does anyone know why the Free Agent Rankings list would say there are not enough to show? When I go to that section, it says that and then backs out to the home page.

This is a fully modded game with fighters created using the random fighter creation in game system. I've played about 8 in-game years. The active fighter number is around 1,700. More than 3/4 of those would have standard contracts and I would say 1/4 to 1/6 of them are unemployed in all geographic areas

I started the game using an Openweight system which moved to Heavyweight and Middleweight in the old style(not the official ranges used now). I assumed that it was not showing up because something strange with that but I have just recently transitioned all companies to use the standard, in game weights and retired Openweight but I still can not view it.

I don't think I am missing anything specific in my game play since I can just do a manual search but it bugs me that it does not work.

Thanks for any help!

Wait, why were those replies deleted?

It's actually a problem with the game that if you were to delete a weight class from the database the Free Agent Rankings don't work at all.

I could send you the save file and/or database I altered. I literally just deleted the women from the game, and the Free Agent Rankings don't work at all. It's a problem that it doesn't even show the men's rankings.

This is a glitch. We're not spreading misinformation here.

<p>Quick camp availability</p><p> </p><p>

The hype for TEW 2020 led me to ... buy WMMA5 <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> and I'm having a blast so far!</p><p> </p><p>

Having last played WMMA3 a few years back I'm stil relearning the game, I have a small problem with fighters availabilty: I noticed that some fighters (a minority) ,after advancing just one day, move directly from "Available full camp fighters" to "Unavailable fighters" without transitioning to "Available quick camp fighters".</p><p>

I can't figure out what stat or option governs it, it's surely realistic but I'm more for a sandbox/fantasy booking playing style so I'd like to be able to edit or at least control it. Any help would be appreciated <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

My best guess is that those fighters have that attribute. You could do a mass removal of that attribute through the mass editor if you wanted to clean them all out before starting a game, or adjust each one individually through the regular editor after a game has already started.</p>

Yes I would like to make the same question as BrokenCycle as well. We are not spreading misinformation here. It is what it is and it is what we have experienced in our games. To delete our answers seems just wrong. If by any means we are wrong and this could have happened to us as isolated bugs, (which let's face it, it's not likely the case for all the reasons already explained) or we misinterpreted it in some way, then just clarify the whole thing instead of deleting our answers. That just leaves everyone in the dark because the problem we are reporting is actually not made up, nor are we talking about it for the gist of it.

It is because there are minimum requirements for a fighter to show up in that section, notably that they need to have some ranking points and have fought in a proper weight class recently. Using openweights would mean that not enough people would qualify and you'd be correctly shut out.

I presume this is also the case for the world rankings? It's what I figured was going on when a new universe I created - with all fighters starting at the beginning of their careers with 0-0 records - hasn't yet populated a world rankings list a year or so into the game. Which is perfectly fine by me, but I was curious!

Ok thanks. Really enjoying your game so far! Just a couple of quick questions:

Tried to add people to the hall of fame but it says I need 10 inductees. How do I induct people?

When marketing a show how would I increase marketing to an international level? The highest I have is advanced national.

I've tried adding a child organisation to send down fighters to but they all seem to be "making money" and I cannot take any of them over. Is there another way to send fighters down?

<p>"No, you must own the organisation to be able to use it as a feeder league"</p><p> </p><p>

I cant take over any of the organisations though as they all seem to be in financial stability. Can I make my own feeder organisation or how would I go about acquiring one of these organisations. Would there be any "cheat" way to lower their financial stability so I can take over?</p>

<p>No regens are american</p><p> </p><p>

All the regens in my game seem to be from Asia, Africa, Australia & Canada. Very very few from Europe and none from America. Is there any reason for this or how can I change it? Would I need to start a new game?</p>
