Janpei Posted April 11, 2018 Share Posted April 11, 2018 Definitely going to follow this Diary but highly critical of The Young Bucks being in charge. That's not to say Delirious was all that good, but part of me thinks The Young Bucks have a lot of good ideas but because they don't have the same filter in Ring of Honor as they do in New Japan, some of the Bullet Club stuff comes off as hokey. This will be interesting because this isn't just Young Bucks creating a Bullet Club angle but booking the entire program beginning to end. The show opens with one-half of the scheduled main event coming to the ring, but they’re missing a partner. Matt Jackson: I don’t know if you all have noticed, but we’re a man down today… While the Ring of Honor crew was here in America for the last week, the four of us were hitting the road in Japan popping houses and making cash. Unfortunately, five of us went over, only four of us came back. Nick Jackson: It seems the new leadersh - Cody grabs the mic from Nick to prevent him from speaking. Nick looks visibly irritated. Cody: In a freak accident, Marty tore his ACL and is gonna be out for the rest of the year. As a result… there is no longer a Ring of Honor champion. So since I was able to bring the Bullet Club together and bring peace to wrestling, I think it’s only fair that I get to step in for Marty and wrestle Will Ospreay for the title at War of the Worlds. But that doesn’t matter tonight. Tonight, we need a fifth. We need somebody who can step up to the challenge and fit in with my Bullet Club… the crowd starts chanting “Flip! Flip! Flip!” while the Bucks egg them on… FLIP!?! FLIP!?! Flip lost a poll to my ****ing dog as to who people want to see more and you want him to join the Bullet Club? No. Nick: Cody, he won the six man titles with us. He’s trustworthy. Just give him a chance. Cody: Nick I think you’re forgetting that Bullet Club is MINE and I make the decisions. Flip Gordon will not be our fifth man tonight. I’d rather have nobody be our fifth man. In fact, we’re going with four tonight! CHAOS, whoever your mystery man was, just let him know there’s no room for him anymore. We’re taking you four on four. <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:black;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";"> The Dawgs [vs] Silas and BCB Silas and Beer City Bruiser answered the Dawgs challenge in the first TV contest tonight. The Dawgs spent the match trying to tag out constantly and avoid the manliest team in Ring of Honor. Silas looked like he had a little bit more edge than last week although he still looked a little disappointed and down on himself. Silas and BCB won handily after a Sit Out Chokeslam delivered to Will Ferrara by BCB. After the match, Beer City Bruiser challenges the Briscoes to a title match at War of the Worlds! Winners: Silas and Beer City Bruiser Rating: 37 Finish: BCB Sit Out Chokeslam on Ferrara </div> Tenille: What a true honor it is to be the first Women of Honor champion, but I have to say, last week didn’t sit right with me. As your champion, I can’t be losing matches like that. I didn’t take the pin, but my team lost and in a division that’s all about me I can’t be letting you fans see that. Jessicka Havok, you got the best of Mandy last week and since I am the BEST woman in wrestling and I don’t shy away from challenges, I am officially challenging you to a match at War of the Worlds for my championship. Jessicka Havok hits the ring and doesn’t waste anytime, destroying Tenille. Havok hits multiple chokeslams and gets on top for a brutal ground and pound. Right when she seems to be walking away, she turns around and grabs a chair from ringside. Havok gets in the ring, but Lisa Marie Varon runs out to the ring to stop it! Lisa chases off Havok and checks on Tenille to make sure the center of the division is okay! Lisa: Well Bully Ray was enlisted for his services with the men… did people think a woman wouldn’t be needed to GM the incredible Women of Honor? I was planning to announce that I’m the new WOH GM later on, but Jessicka you gave me no choice but to come out now since you put the champ at risk. Next week we will have a contract signing for War of the Worlds and Jessicka, if you put your hands on Tenille then I will cancel the match and make sure you NEVER get a title shot here in Women of Honor! Taven and Lisa Marie are talking backstage after the commercial break. Taven is putting on his usual Taven charm and showing off his new belt from Mexico. All of the sudden Cheeseburger pops up! Cheeseburger: Hey Matt! I need your help man. I was supposed to be wrestling the Bullet Club tonight but Rocky said they don’t need me anymore. Can I help you out with anything today? Do you have a match you need me for. Taven: Really? Cheeseburger? Did that Melvin Bully Ray REALLY think that he could put you on my team and make the Kingdom look weaker tonight? This conspiracy just keeps on getting deeper. Look, just get out of here I’m a little busy with my new friend Lisa here… Cheeseburger: This isn’t a conspiracy! I’m on your si- Taven decks Cheeseburger with his belt and starts flexing much to the joy of Lisa! Bully Ray and MCMG show up to stop Taven from doing more damage! Bully Ray announces that The Kingdom will face off against Cheeseburger and the Motor City Machine Guns RIGHT NOW. <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:black;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";"> The Kingdom [vs] Motor City Machine Guns and Cheeseburger Motor City Machine Guns did all the work for their side and the Kingdom spread out their work. Shelly and Sabin displayed why they’re one of the greatest tag teams ever with a miraculous display of teamwork on TK and Vinny. Eventually the numbers game caught up, the three of the Kingdom got the best of MCMG. Sabin had to crawl to the corner and tag in Cheeseburger! The crowd went crazy and Cheeseburger looked happy, but the second he stepped in the ring Matt Taven hit the climax immediately and won. Winners: The Kingdom Rating: 51 Finish: Matt Taven Climax on Cheeseburger </div> <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:black;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";"> Bullet Club [vs] CHAOS Nick started the match out with Will Ospreay. They had a crazy back and forth sequence of counters and flying. Will set up his usual Superman pose but instead busted out the Marty wings. The Bullet Club got really upset by this and Hangman tagged himself in. Hangman came charging with his slingshot lariat, but Ospreay got out of the way and tagged in Rocky. Hangman beat up Rocky hard to build heat, tagging in Matt Jackson as well to work on Rocky together. Eventually Rocky got through the two of them and tagged in Beretta. Beretta charged in and got both Hangman and Matt. Beretta went back and tagged Chuck. Chuck Taylor walked in and went for the Awful Waffle immediately on Matt, but Nick flew in with a Super Kick! Chuck went down and Matt was about to cover. The three CHAOS members charged in to break up the pin, but only Hangman and Nick tried to stop it! Cody stayed on the apron and watched as Ospreay got through to break it up. Nick turned around and got in Cody’s face to start yelling. Cody just stepped off the apron and soaked in the heat from the crowd. Hangman, Matt and Nick all fought off CHAOS until the ring was cleared besides Matt and Chuck. Matt went to the corner and started gearing up the Super Kick, but Cody tagged himself in! Cody stepped in the ring, delivered a Cross Rhodes and pinned Chuck! Winners: Bullet Club Rating: 51 Finish: Cody Cross Rhodes to Chuck Taylor </div> After the match, Matt, Hangman and Cody all raised their arms in celebration. Nick was visibly irritated and Flip Gordon had to come out and separate him from Cody. I was looking forward to his match with Ospreay at War of the Worlds. Brother, I was too. Had a whole thing planned with Marty and Will and eventually transitioning into using the ROH Title to further the Bullet Club storyline. Had to change ALL of that. Lisa: Alright ladies thanks for coming out here to start the show. Now remember Jessicka if you lay a hand on Tenille, you will get this match pulled and you will never fight for this title again as long as I’m in charge. With that said, I guess I’ll let Tenille sign this first. Tenille: Before I sign this contract, I have a few words I want to say. I’m the first ever Women of Honor champion. Do you know what that means Jessicka? It means I beat every other girl who stepped in to this, the best opportunity for independent women’s wrestlers in America. I beat them all from all over the globe. And you think you can just come in here and take it in the first opportunity you get? Well I can barely dignify that with a response. I started the rebirth of women’s wrestling in America by killing it in NXT and then once I left for greener pastures I started the ass kicking of women’s wrestling in independent wrestling. This division is for me, it’s by me, it’s ALL ABOUT ME. Tenille signs the contract and pushes it towards Havok. Havok stands up and gets close to Tenille, staring over the top of her. Jessicka then turns to Lisa, who is shaking her head. Havok steps up to Lisa, and grabs her by the throat! Lisa is panicking! Havock delivers a brutal choke slam through the table to Lisa Marie Varon! Then she signs the contract on Lisa’s lifeless body. Tenille stands on the side in horror after seeing what Havok just did to the boss! Matt Taven runs in from the back to check on Lisa. <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:black;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";"> Kenny King © [vs] KUSHIDA KUSHIDA is here for the first time in over a month! Trying to reclaim the title he held back in 2017. It seems he travelled here to keep the new Young Lion company as he adjusts to America. KUSHIDA and King had a great back and forth match, but Hangman Page interfered and caused a no contest after beating the hell out of each of them! Winner: NO CONTEST following Hangman Page interference Rating: 50 Finish: Hangman Page interference </div> Dalton: Young Bucks! I’m here to formally lay down a challenge for your Six Man Championships. One of my boys got hurt a few weeks ago and can’t wrestle right now, but I can find a suitable third partner by the time War of the Worlds comes around. What do you say? Matt: Yeah man sure whatever, get out of here we were in the middle of something. The Young Bucks deliver a double superkick to Brandon and Dalton gathers his boy and escapes the locker room before worse happens. Nick goes back to talking to Matt. Nick: Look, as I was saying, I just don’t think we can trust Cody. Sure he’s giving Flip a chance tonight but that took a whole lot of lobbying on our part. Him beating Kenny was a fluke and he’s not fit to lead the Bullet Club. You know it, I know it. Just think about it and do the right thing. <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:black;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";"> Punishment Martinez [vs] Jonathan Gresham Punishment took over this match from the start. Gresham is considered one of the best technical wrestlers on the planet by some but his size created too much of a mismatch to overcome. Punishment looked dominant in his first appearance since losing to Tomohiro Ishii at Supercard of Honor. Winner: Punishment Martinez Rating: 51 Finish: Punishment </div> <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:black;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";"> Cody and Flip Gordon [vs] Will Ospreay and Jay Lethal Cody and Ospreay were going to start this off. But Cody grabbed a mic and said ”I’m giving Flip a chance to prove himself tonight, so Flip, how about you start this off and show me what you’ve got”. He tagged in Flip and the match went to work. Flip and Will worked high paced for 6 minutes while Cody paced on the outside. Will tagged in Lethal and Jay came in hot, firing up at Flip. Flip kept looking back for the tag only to see nobody there. This match felt like a handicap match with the amount of effort Cody put in. Lethal and Ospreay won the match after a simultaneous Lethal Injection/OsCutter. Cody was disgusted that Flip lost the match for him. Winners: Will Ospreay and Jay Lethal Rating: 60 Finish: Lethal Injection/OsCutter </div> Finally! The Young Lion from New Japan has arrived! Katsuya Kitamura hits the ring. Cody runs off, disgusted with Flip’s performance. Will follows him to go attack. That leaves Flip, Jay Lethal and Kitamura in the ring. Flip runs at Kitamura, but gets thrown straight over the top rope! Lethal and Kitamura have a staredown in the ring. They have a cordial handshake and Lethal starts to walk away but Kitamura pulls him in close again! JACKHAMMER! Kitamura has made a HUGE impact in his Ring of Honor debut.
