We are currently tanking as needed and nothing else needs to really be said about this season. Hopefully we get a shot at Lebron or Melo, but even if we lose out we still have eyes on Wade and Bosh. All four of these men would be great for us.

Mcgrady showing signs of injuries already, That is something to worry about because our future is involved with the health of T-Mac and without it, we might have to try and flip him again.

Okay, come on. Don't stop tanking on me now, we need a top 3 pick here.

Never thought I would be a fan of injuries, but it is saving our season.

Even in tanking, the Lakers are trying to get the better of us. We would really just like a easy NBA draft here. the draft is stacked and I need a franchise player.

I think next season, we trade Garnett and move on as of now. Look to a better big man or something else.

Welp looks like we cant even tank correctly, what we need is for our two main scorers to get injured and hopefully the basketball gods bless is with this or else we might not even be looking at a top 3 pick and instead top 5 or 8.

Tmac is currently injured so maybe that is what we need to keep ourselves on track here for the future.

Crisis averted, we are on our way to being the worst team in the NBA with injuries hitting our star players and the losing down the stretch killing player and team morale.

Kinda worried with McGrady and wondering if his real life injury issues are gonna be replicated for us down the line cause if so, we might need to move him on quicker than I wanted to.

2003 NBA Draft Lottery Results

FKT7wpt.png

OfO2btE.png

We go into the draft with the best chance of taking home the number one pick and perhaps landing Lebron James. I think we can do it, but even if we lose out, it will not be the end of the world or the worst thing to happen to us as a whole.

The New Orleans end up with the number 1 pick and the chance to pick up the most hyped high school prospect all time in the very much stacked 2003 NBA Draft.

It really sucks to lose out on a chance at Bron, but we have a shot at Either Anthony, Bosh or Wade. All three terrific scorers who would be a great help for us going forward.

2003 NBA Draft

With the 1st pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, The New Orleans Hornets select, Lebron James. The Kid from Akron has a chance to live up to all the hype given to him and prove to the city of New Orleans that they can and will be a great team since relocating from Charlotte.

We pick up Dwayne Wade just incase the Tracy McGrady experiment fails with injuries in such and since we are gonna try and move KG on for something else. Maybe try and rebuild from the bottom up and make this team something different overall. Wade is the future as we attempt to move on from our past that the 90s and early 2000s gave us as a team.

Damn, the Clippers curse struck hard. Wade's an okay consolation prize but damn, LeBron would've changed the entire franchise. A core of KG-TMac-Wade-Nash can conceivably work, but you're gonna need a big man to complement them. Brian Cook is a nice start since he's got the 3-ball in his game, so if you give that team a chance, I think this season could be exciting.

I should have gotten the lottery roll and it just hit us where it hurt at the last minute. As for KG and Nash, both of them are gonna get three months until then trade deadline to impress me or else I will ship them away and try and get some younger stars. Especially Nash who has played not at all like the man who won a with the Miami Heat. Garnett in the midst of his prime has declined no matter what pieces I put around him or how I make him the focus of our offense, so i don't think much is coming out of him for us atleast.

2003-2004 Season Preview

<img alt="DK86vCA.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DK86vCA.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="4orSyCX.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4orSyCX.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Penny and Shaq are heavy favorites to run the Atlantic Division again, but the real question will be whether or not they cans top the young Bulls dynasty that has been taking over the NBA and doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. The more the years tick, the less successful the Orlando Magic seem to be. Rebuilding looks like the correct move for them if they want to hold onto long term success.

<img alt="eJ2wYHR.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/eJ2wYHR.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="Ooo6bkw.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Ooo6bkw.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

The Chicago Bulls are the youngest team in the NBA, but also the team with the last two NBA Trophies to their name, dismantling the Dallas Mavericks dynasty that emerged on the backend of the 1990s. The 2000s seems to be the Bulls way as they look to recollect on the time they spent down with Jordan leaving and failing to give them another three peat.

<img alt="uoeeXTK.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/uoeeXTK.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="jhtNwnh.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/jhtNwnh.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Kobe has given it all for the Grizzles the past two finals and each time they crumble to the might of the Bulls, last year was a clean sweep and losing Brand doesn't help their case, but reuping their bench and a revenge crazed Kobe could change the fortunes of the team this season. Can Kobe get over the Bulls hump and land the Memphis team their first NBA Title?

<img alt="5MadJle.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5MadJle.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="N9fBWP6.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/N9fBWP6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

The Suns emerge as really the best of the worst in the terrible Pacific division riddled with terrible drafts and terrible trades. The Suns have the clippers pick in tow and could look at a playoff berth and a top 5 pick with a bad record to boot this season.

Bottom of the NBA as I expected, really these next three years will be getting rid of the team that came into the 2000s with us and trying to gain another identity.

I somehow lost the screenshots for this month, but they weren't good at all.

I don't understand what is happening in Boston right now, but somehow they are saving us from having the worst record in the NBA as a whole. Its pretty crazy, but this is the reality we are set with. Really the next 3 years is our focus as we hope to be contenders again in 2007 or a 2008. That is the target goal for us so far, with or without McGrady Nash and Garnett.

<img alt="i32PoJR.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/i32PoJR.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

If KG and Nash don't pick it up this next month, they will be leaving the team. Unacceptable form two stars in this league.

Nash and Garnett have to go, this is absurd. I cannot think of anything going this wrong in our history like this. These two are playing like decent players not the stars their contracts reflect.

2003-2004 Trade Deadline Trades

Some Big Deals for us that we need to go over.

Charlotte Hornets Get:

<img alt="5m07YBg.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5m07YBg.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="3CuzJC1.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3CuzJC1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

LA Clippers 2006 First Round Pick

LA Clipeprs 2005 2nd Round pick

LA Clippers Get:

<img alt="qer6Nn7.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qer6Nn7.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<img alt="igSooVZ.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/igSooVZ.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

So going over this trade, we give up two picks. One future first rounder and one future 2nd rounder. I was okay with pulling the trigger on this deal because 2006 I expect us to be a mid seeded playoff team, but I did for the previous seasons and look how it turned out for me as the Suns have recuuped on my boons. But we trade away Nash who wasn't scoring and rebuild with a Point Guard who can make his own shot and facilitate if asked too. Keep in mind we are building the team around Dwade, which means getting a versatile big man or a Rim protector(Tyson Chandler in free agency.) Also Cook is looking like a player who is a catch and shooter and I didn't want that or need that on my bench.

San Antonio Spurs:

<img alt="kVyRf5V.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kVyRf5V.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

LA Clipeprs Receive:

<img alt="bOwEnho.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bOwEnho.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Alright lets go over this one. I might get alot of confusion over this move and some glares because ONeal isn't KG for sure, but with the way KG has played for me the past two seasons, this swap was inevitable. I mean Garnett was the primary option and I added a scorer to a scoring lineup for him, an elite Forward in TMAC for him, I gave him Big ben, AI and Nash all to which we did nothing with as KG was our star man. It sucks because we started this diary with KG and I want to end it with KG, but I could not justify his production the past few years, it made zero sense. We got him the needed help in his prime. I hope the best for him in San Antonio.

Damn, not even a pick or something for KG? His stock's fallen hard. I like the addition of Baron Davis, but he and T-Mac make for an injury-prone 1-2 punch. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

A 27 year old Power Forward declining as a player and hasn't proved he belongs in this decade was a steal to get O'Neal for him. O'Neal is a younger, a proven scorer and better attributes overall than KG. Baron was done to play alongside Wade in the future, TMac might walk? I don't see any NBA team taking his salary unless it involves picks and we are looking to keep our 05 and 07 1st round picks and look to rebuild the Clippers for the future.
