Damn that's a double blow for LAC, man. Luckily 2004 wasn't THAT great of a draft class. Salivating at the thought of a CP3-Wade combo, though. Maybe flip Baron for a high(ish) pick midway through the season? Good luck, buddy. If you're a glass half-full kinda guy, you can see it as the basketball gods starting LAC's rebuild early so that you're primed to take over once the Bulls and Mavericks freight trains run out of steam LOL

The Bulls don't have the room to keep their core forevr, Kidd is getting older and really most of the old guard will fade, we just need to get rid of Tmac's contract + Baron. Tank for Cpaul and combine him with Wade and a defensive big man like Chandler etc. This is a better situation for us I think than trying to be a mid tier playoff team and compete with teams above us.</p>

Let's go tank, let's go tank!! Interesting to see the Mav's get another Championship, almost thought the Bulls were going to be unbeatable there!

Gonna go with the old 76ers idea of trust the process. Hopefully we can regain that one draft pick we shipped away to the Hornets.

The Bulls are such a interesting team, they should not have the cap space to keep those 5 guys yet they do? Its so strange. I guess trading for Wallace put the Mavs over with a elite rim protector

2004-2005 Season Preview

Atlantic Division:

ZF7bt0K.png

5TDC0Em.png

cUjaUY1.png

The North are in full effect this season The Raptors look to gain a NBA Season. These Raptors are hungry for a title and this year could be the year they might just get it.

Southeast Division

BHPm9Xb.png

K6PFJjK.png

The Heat look to heat up the East this year with a scoring duo that can match any team not named the Bulls and with so much to gain and so little time, they have to be prepared to make it through.

Central Division:

od6kDyW.png

uSYmc3S.png

l4QWepI.png

X33oxIY.png

This team is insane, i don't understand how the Mavericks swept them, but this team cannot be beat by us in the West. It has to die down soon, Right?

Midwest:

dkix1Tj.png

PHOhwJe.png

L3ktdRu.png

Billups and Kobe have a road and a goal to prove in the west, proving they can take down the Bulls and win the big one before Kobe decides to leave?

Northwest Division:

HQTGWkG.png

XMI8tpF.png

The defensive wall in Portland looks to take down the west hierarchy and make their name before anything else.

Pacific Division:

7ivDtcK.png

AQad9dX.png

The Phoenix Suns are the ones to make it happen this year, High scoring is the name of the game for them and With AI at the helm, this could be the next big winners of the Finals?

2005 Charlotte Bobcats 1st Round Pick

Charlotte Bobcats Get:

We are tanking and Tmac was too good to go to waste here, we really traded him for a late to mid first round pick this year to define the squad in the draft. I didn't feel the need to dump anyone else, but i think I may dump Baron as well. Since I would rather have CP3 here.

Hopefully TMac gets injured and you get a high draft pick from it. Interested to see how the tank is going.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It was a terrible trade for us, but The Bobcats are an expansion team that doesn't have a good roster and TMAC isn't enough to offset a losing record for them. It should net us a top 5-10 pick for backup if we don't get Paul, which I don't forsee us getting if my luck in the lottery is anything. All in All, we basically Traded Tmac for cap room and a top 10 pick, which was the most we could get out of Tmac and the most we could try to tank by giving away our offensive talent basically.</p>

I was worried that somehow you were going to end up still managing to make the playoff's even with everyone traded....this definitely looks better <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I'm actually more excited about the possibilities after a season like this than I would have been if you had made the playoff's....so many possibilities!

i was kinda worried for us a bit back there, but I feel like we have a clear plan this season and we have a real idea of how to get us Back into contention in a declining West.

Three finals losses for Kobe, not a single win. That has to sting. Just has to. </p><p> </p><p>

Larry Hughes is your Finals MVP, yes that Larry Hughes who played on the Cavs with Bron. </p><p> </p><p>

A very defensive team, very similar to the real life Pistons that took out the Lakers, so a little irony for Kobe there in this dynasty.</p>
