Donte Dunn and KC Glenn worked well together for most of this match, but it was clear that the two fan favourites don't trust one another. They're also clearly looking forward to fighting each other this weekend at the DeColt WrestleFestival. However, across the ring from then, Jonathan Faust has vowed NOT to cost Erik Strong his Title on Monday Night at Day Two of the huge event. They worked even better together, and as Donte Dunn hit his 'Sunny Daze' spinning back fist on Faust, and KC Glenn tagged himself into the match, things looked like they were about to break down!! But Strong decided to leave the match and live to fight another day! The legendary duo known as The CanAm Blondes have been on a roll recently, and have attacked the tag team of Jacob Jett and Thrill Seeker (World's Most Wanted) twice in the past two weeks... They're showing their true colours, and Solomon Gold wasn't happy with the influence of Owen Love over The Natural... He told them as much, and Love wasn't happy with his words... Sonny Wildside and Gino Montero have a lot of mutual respect for one another, while conversely Logan DeColt doesn't seem to have respect for anybody. Despite this, Logan's tag team partner Julian Watson really shone in this match! Watson controlled the pace of the match, and ordered the young DeColt Son around. He also managed to keep Gino Montero in his team's corner, and used headlocks to keep Montero grounded. However, the 'Magnificent' Mexican took advantage of Logan getting cocky and paying too much attention to the crowd. Steve DeColt is BACK, and he looked like he'd never even had a spell of three months looking rough and ill, and struggling to walk. He's put his feud with POISON behind him, and now he's coming for his Brother: 'The Mind' Alex DeColt. He had to go through another of his Brothers first, in the form of 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt though, and the burly brawler matched Steve in both size and strength. Jack ended up controlling the pace of the match, and wouldn't allow Steve to fight back into it. However, with the crowd behind him, 'The Outsider' was able to draw strength from them, to block and then counter a German Suplex attempt with a go-behind and a German Suplex of his own! It wasn't long after that that Jack came off the second rope and was clocked with a lariat. This was an absolutely incredible outing for both men, and the returning Aaron Andrews in particular looked like a megastar out there! He was up against a man who believes his time is NOW in Aldous Blackfriar, who is currently one half of the NOTBPW Tag Team Champions. Without his big 'muscle' Mutant, many believed that Aldous stood little chance of stopping Andrews on his own, but he proved how resilient he is, and threw some of his best shots at Andrews. However, resiliency is something Andrews prides himself on too, and he was able to withstand the onslaught from 'Dark Watch'! We got straight into the next First Round Match following a short video hyping tonight's Main Event (The Triangle Ladder Match; a re-match from 2017's June pay-per-view Mid Summer Madness). World's Most Wanted, Primed For Progress and the CanAm Blondes will battle once more, but in this match, another tag team specialist shone: 'The Maverick' Julian Watson. Watson isn't usually seen in singles matches, but thanks to one of my readers (*John Lions) he was picked to participate in this historic Two Day Tournament. He used chain wrestling, and his significant 30lb weight advantage to keep Sonny Wildside grounded. However, Wildside fears nobody, and he showed his hunger by exploding into life late on. He hit flying elbow strikes, and a beautiful drop kick. The end of the match came when Watson attempted a Superplex from the top rope, but Wildside fought him off and ended up headbutting him! Watson landed hard, but he wasn't in position for the moonsault stomp! A short match, as POISON took an absolute beating at the hands of the legendary Dark Angel. Prometheus got in Angel's face at one point, but he too was put down by 'The Angel'. POISON then fought back, and managed to hit a super kick, and a running knee that rocked the veteran. James Hernandez knew he'd be in a fight tonight, against the hardcore NOTBPW Television Champion: 'The Notorious' Sayeed Ali. 'Mr. Main Event' was expecting Ali to go for weapons, and try to use distraction tactics to get his Coast To Coast Connection brothers Ross Henry and Lenny Brown involved. But Ali used none of these tactics. Instead, he used classic wrestling holds, and countered Hernandez's offence. Ali was a match for the impressive wrestler to begin with, but when 'Mr. Main Event' took his offence to the sky, Ali struggled to keep up. In the end, after a back and forth last few minutes, in which both men hit big moves, and even bigger strikes, Hernandez managed to create some separation. Another excellent First Round contest here, and an obvious clash of styles between the two. Ernest Youngman threw Jack DeColt around as much as he could, and attempted submission holds. But Jack outweighs Youngman by 30+ lbs, and he used that weight advantage to make sure Youngman had to work twice as hard to lift him. The brawler Jack DeColt used his quickness to strike hard and often late on. A low kick knocked Youngman over, and Jack was beginning to bully the 25 year old. But a 'Drive By' Shining Wizard from Youngman earned him a very close two count! This match has been a long time coming. Nine months ago, these three tag teams battled in a Triangle Ladder Match, and the match ended up costing Owen Love and Jacob Jett over six months of their careers. Their tag team partners The Natural and Thrill Seeker (respectively) struggled during the six months. Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey and Christian Price) took over the Tag Team Division during that period, winning the Titles for a second and third time. World's Most Wanted (Jett and Seeker) were desperate to catch them up and become three time Champs, and if they won this match, they'd earn a Tag Team Title shot against Mayhem! In order to win, they would have to get past the veteran tag team the CanAm Blondes (The Natural and Owen Love), as well as Primed For Progress. The three teams have fought each other countless times over the past couple of years, so they know each other very well. It was Jacob Jett and Thrill Seeker who made the first move in that respect. They both grabbed hardware as they went for steel chairs, and started swinging. Owen Love and The Natural kept out of the way of World's Most Wanted as best they could, which meant that Cameron Vessey and Christian Price took a beating! The chair that Thrill Seeker was using was bent up in all sorts of shapes. Jett decided it was time to grab some ladders next, and begin to climb towards winning the match. But Love and Natural were fresh, and were able to stop their ascent. The CanAm Blondes threw Jett out over the top rope, and then beat Seeker down. Suddenly, the veterans found themselves in complete control. Natural began to climb one side of the ladder, and Love the other. But Cameron Vessey got back into the ring, and shoved it over! They fell slowly, but they landed hard! Love hit the top rope and Natural fell and landed just inside the ring. I was trying to throw everyone off the scent with the Solomon Gold/CanAm Blondes story!! And of course, the tension in the Animals. I wanted everyone to expect the team that was going to split to be either CanAm or P4P, and then hit you with the end of World's Most Wanted. It's a massive risk, because when Jacob Jett was out injured for six months, Thrill Seeker did literally NOTHING!! However, he has a nice feud to get his teeth into now... Plus if you read his bio, it says this:

 

"He went solo in 2009, which is when he adopted the Thrill Seeker ring name and took the opportunity to radically overhaul his look."

 

Expect something like this to happen at the end of his second major tag team too...
