This show will take place inside the MECCA Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! Your hosts will be the esteemed announce team of </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Jim Ross</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> and </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Tony Schiavone</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">! Main eventing this first ever show will be the first bout in round 1 of the WCW World Heavyweight title tournament. We know that one side of the match will be </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Ricky Steamboat</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. The Dragon is an absolute legend of the business and will surely be up to the task no matter who he faces. On the other side, we will see the mystery member of </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Paul E. Dangerously</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">'s Dangerous Alliance. This will be the fourth and (as of right now) final member of this group in WCW. Dangerously has kept the name of this person close to the vest but we have learned that there will be an interview in the first hour where this person is announced. This will give Steamboat an opportunity to prepare for whoever this wrestler is.</span><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -We have, also, learned that there will be a very special in-ring promo by none other than the former NWA United States champion </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Lex Luger</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">! The Total Package, surely, has a lot to say after losing that title but winning War Games and sending The Horsemen out of WCW. Last Saturday it was, also, announced that he will receive a bye in the first round of the WCW World Heavyweight title tournament. In the second round, he will face the winner of the first round match pitting Big Van Vader against Terry Funk. That match will take place this Saturday on WCW Saturday Night. Make sure you tune in and find out what The Total Package has to say in this exclusive promo on the very first WCW Nitro.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -In other action, it will definitely be a battle of youth versus experience as </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Art Barr</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> steps in the ring with The American Dream </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Dusty Rhodes</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">! Barr picked up a tag team victory last on the last WCW Saturday Night when he and his partner, </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Eddie Guerrero</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> defeated The Fabulous Ones. Guerrero will, no doubt, be lurking around at ringside during this match. We know from experience that they have no problem skirting around the rules. But Rhodes is used to fighting wrestlers who bend and break the rules. He has seen many of them in his 21 year wrestling career. It will be interesting to see what kind of shape The American Dream is in following the last WCW Saturday Night show when he teamed with Lex Luger to take Miracle Violence Connection to a double count out.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -The first hour main event is a good one. We will see the first ever WCW United States champion crowned in a singles match where </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Chuck O'Connor</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> takes on </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Junkyard Dog</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. O'Connor just recently won the NWA United States title at WrestleWar but things are looking likely that the NWA is going to strip him of that title since he has joined WCW on an exclusive contract. JYD is in the midst of a feud with </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Devastation, Inc.</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Members of that group could very well be lurking somewhere at ringside just itching to make sure that JYD walks out with a loss. But JYD has backup of his own in </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>The Funk Brothers</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. Terry and Dory Funk, Jr. will definitely be there to make sure that this is a clean match.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -In our opening bout, we will see a high flying international affair as America's </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Brian Pillman</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> takes on Japan's </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Jushin Thunder Liger</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">! In six years of wrestling, Liger has already become an iconic name in Japan. He is a former three time IWGP Junior Heavyweight champion and was Wrestling Observer's 1984 Young Wrestler of the Year. He has, also, earned Best Flying Wrestler honors in 1989 and 1990. This means that Brian Pillman will definitely have his hands full. However, Pillman is definitely no slouch in the ring and in the air. They don't call him Flyin' Brian for nothing. He was Wrestling Observer's 1987 Rookie Of The Year and is a graduate of the Hart Dungeon. This match could very well be the match of the night.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -Plus we will see </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Arn Anderson</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> and </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Tully Blanchard</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> against </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>The Fabulous Ones</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">, a very special video on </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Devastation, Inc.</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">, </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Dustin Rhodes</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> in the building and many more surprises on a live television show. Make sure you tune in live on TBS!</span></p></div></blockquote></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Prediction Listing</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> 15 Minute Time Limit</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Brian Pillman</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Comments: </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> 10 Minute Time Limit</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard vs. The Fabulous Ones</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Comments: </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> WCW United States Title Match</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> 45 Minute Time Limit</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Chuck O'Connor vs. Junkyard Dog</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Comments: </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> 10 Minute Time Limit</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Art Barr vs. Dusty Rhodes</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Comments: </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> WCW World Heavyweight Title Tournament, Round 1</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> 45 Minute Time Limit</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Mystery Member Of The Dangerous Alliance vs. Ricky Steamboat</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Comments: </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Comments On The Diary/Previous Show: </span></p>

<p>Glad it wasn't time for the show proper yet, I guess this is what I get for generally perusing the board when I'm too tired to predict most times <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>
