They hype tonight's show, which will feature two rematches. One of those rematches is from last week's show right here on the Power Hour. This match will feature the new NWA United States Tag Team champions The Southern Rockers as they face The Renegade Warriors in a non title match. The other match will be our main event where Bobby Eaton defends the NWA Television title against Z-Man. With those in mind, JR sends us to the ring and Gary Michael Cappetta for our opening bout.<p> </p><p> -In an extremely short match, Terry Taylor(B-) defeated Mike Sharpe(D) in 4:02 by pinfall with a Flying Forearm Smash...C-</p><p> </p><p> -A video begins to play recapping exactly what happened last week on WCW Saturday Night during the main event. An old rivalry was renewed when <strong>Dusty Rhodes</strong> challenged <strong>Ric Flair</strong> for the NWA World Heavyweight title. It was as good a bout as anyone could have expected. The American Dream managed to roll The Nature Boy into a small package and everyone thought we had a new NWA World Heavyweight champion. This was not to be, however. Senior referee Nick Patrick had been knocked out of the match and, during this time, Ric Flair threw Dusty Rhodes over the top rope. So when the referee came to, he spoke with Randy Anderson, who replaced him and the decision was changed to a disqualification victory for Rhodes. This means that Ric Flair is still the NWA World Heavyweight champion.</p><p> </p><p> -As <strong>The Southern Rockers</strong> make their way to the ring for their match, we are treated to an inset promo with The Southern Rockers and <strong>Alexandra York</strong>. York says that she knew that when she brought The Southern Rockers to the promotion that they would become champions. She says that she fulfilled that promise last week on WCW Saturday Night. Now, they step in the ring with The Renegade Warriors and she and the computer promise a victory in less than 6:42.</p><p> </p><p> -In an extremely short match, The Southern Rockers(Doll-D+, King-D) defeated The Renegade Warriors(D) in 4:06 when Steven Doll defeated Chris Youngblood by pinfall with a Double DDT...D+</p><p> </p><p> -It's time for the Wrestling News Network hosted by <strong>Gordon Solie</strong>! Solie begins by stating that he has learned that Eric Bischoff will have a special announcement regarding the United States Tag Team title picture tomorrow night on WCW Saturday Night. But that is on WCW Saturday Night. The Control Center turns to WrestleWar and War Games. Solie sends us to an interview with the man called <strong>Sting</strong>! Sting says that he is feeling his heart beating. He's feeling the excitement. He knows that they are only a couple of days away from War Games. He says that he is confident in his team. He knows that he has a winning team with Terry Taylor and the Samoan Swat Team. He ends the interview by challenging any member of the Four Horsemen to meet him on WCW Saturday Night the night before WrestleWar.</p><p> </p><p> -In an extremely short match, The Steiner Brothers(B-) defeated The Malenko Brothers(Dean-D+, Joe-D) in 3:40 when Rick Steiner defeated Dean Malenko by pinfall with a Steiner-Line...C-</p><p> </p><p> -We go to a pre-taped interview with <strong>Michael Hayes</strong>. The Lone Freebird says that Kevin Von Erich made a huge mistake when he interfered in Hayes' match at the Clash last month. But that situation is going to be rectified at WrestleWar when Von Erich steps into Badstreet USA. He warns Von Erich not to show up at WrestleWar because if he does he's going to leave the building on a stretcher.</p><p> </p><p> -In another pre-taped promo, we are taken to a video featuring <strong>Paul E. Dangerously</strong>. Dangerously says that he is focused on Spring Stampede next month where his Dangerous Alliance will take on Missy Hyatt's squad of idiots. He says that tomorrow night on WCW Saturday Night he will have the debut of two members of his team in tag team action. He finishes by saying that the Dangerous Alliance is going to conquer professional wrestling.</p><p> </p><p> -In a decent match, Bobby Eaton(B-) defeated Z-Man(D+) in 10:02 by pinfall with an Alabama Jam. Bobby Eaton makes defence number 2 of his NWA World Television title...B-</p><p> </p><p> -To close the show, we are taken back to the announce booth where <strong>Jim Ross</strong> and <strong>Tony Schiavone</strong> are standing by. They hype tomorrow night's WCW Saturday Night television show on TBS, The SuperStation. Schiavone announces that there will be a tag team match on WCW Saturday Night pitting Lex Luger and Brian Pillman against Harley Race and Chuck O'Connor. We will, also, see if The Four Horsemen will accept Sting's challenge laid out here earlier tonight for a one on one match. JR reminds everyone to watch WCW Saturday Night and then WrestleWar this Sunday. The show comes to a close. See you on the SuperStation!</p><p></p></div></div><div></div></blockquote></div><p></p>

Tonight, WCW Saturday Night comes to you live from the Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, New Jersey. Last night on Power Hour, </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Sting</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> challenged any member of The Four Horsemen to face him in singles action. We have learned that </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Sid Vicious</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> accepted the challenge and these two men will meet in our main event only one day before they will face each other in War Games: The Match Beyond.</span><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -Though they have been seen exclusively on the Power Hour, </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>The Fabulous Ones</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> will make their WCW Saturday Night debut this week. Stan Lane and Steve Keirn are two veteran wrestlers but their opponents are two second generation wrestlers as they will be stepping inside the ring with </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>The Malenko Brothers</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. Dean and Joe Malenko haven't gotten off on the right foot here in WCW but that could easily change with a victory against The Fabulous Ones. Only one team can come out on top.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -Both the NWA World Tag Team titles and the NWA United States Tag Team titles will be spoken about on this night. Last week, </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Teddy Long</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> announced that whomever comes out to the ring and accepts the open challenge on this night will face </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Doom</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> for the belts at WrestleWar. It could be any tag team both in the promotion and outside the promotion. Make sure you tune in and find out which team will face them. As for the United States Tag Team titles, now held by </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>The Southern Rockers</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">, </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Eric Bischoff</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> has said that he will be making an announcement regarding the belts on this night. We can only imagine that he will be announcing a challenging team for the belts at WrestleWar.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -The first hour main event will feature a tag team bout as </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Lex Luger</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> teams with </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Brian Pillman</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> against </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Harley Race</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> and </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Chuck O'Connor</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. We have learned that O'Connor will challenge Luger for the United States title at WrestleWar. This will be an interesting preview of that match and a chance for revenge for Luger and Pillman after the recent attacks by the duo of Race and O'Connor.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -</span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Paul E. <p>Looking over the PWI results, I took notice that there's no Hulk at either In Your House or any of the WWF's TV shows. Is he off filming a movie or injured, or are they just not using him?</p><p> </p><p>

Dangerous Alliance - <em>Well I'm sure that you intend on making your own mark on the Dangerous Alliance, but at the same time it's a surefire way to get someone like Steve Austin over in a hurry, so I'll choose him. Looking over the free agent pool, I'll also go with Nikita Koloff as he's a big nasty heel you can bring in. So that's who I'm figuring this team is, Austin and Koloff.</em></p><p>

Vader</p><p>

SST</p><p>

Race and O'Connor - <em>A heel win for the heel team gives them some strong momentum ahead of WrestleWar.</em></p><p>

The Fabs - <em>Pretty cool to see you using the Fabs really, though I look forward to when they have a run-in with Beautiful Bobby and Cornette.</em></p><p>

Sting - <em>I could lean either toward Sting winning or a no contest, but I'll go with Sting so that he's chalked up a big win over a Horseman.</em></p>

Dangerously has a microphone and he begins by saying that tonight is the debut of the most dangerous group in professional wrestling, The Dangerous Alliance. Dangerously enters the ring and walks up to both members of The Killer Bees. He flashes a smile and tells them that the two of them have entered the Danger Zone. He asks them what they think about being the first sacrifical lambs to the Dangerous Alliance. He holds the microphone over and then brings it back before B. Brian Blair can answer. Dangerously says that he knows what they are thinking. He says that he knows that it is an honor to take on any members of The Dangerous Alliance. He says that Terry Gordy is a former member of the Fabulous Freebirds. Williams and Gordy stand in the corner discussing strategy with Paul E. Dangerously. Dangerously gets on the microphone and tells everyone that Dr. Death here has not been pinned in North American since 1987. That means four years so far without being pinned. The four men look absolutely confident as they surround Schiavone. Schiavone says that these four men will be stepping into War Games tomorrow night at WrestleWar against Sting, Terry Taylor and The Samoan Swat Team. Ric Flair grabs the microphone and tells Schiavone that he needs to stop right there. He says that Schiavone is wrong about who they will be facing. He tells the people in the truck to roll the footage. Jim Ross wonders what this footage is and we are taken to a video that is inside a limousine. All four members of The Horsemen are seated inside this limousine, as well as someone running the camera. The camera is a little shaky due to it being simply a hand-held camera. Arn Anderson tells the limousine to pull over to the side of the road right up here. All of The Horsemen and the cameraman get out of the limousine and rush toward a gas station where </em><em><strong>Terry Taylor</strong></em><em> is pumping gas into his car. The Horsemen assault Taylor in a four on one attack! Taylor tries to fight back but the numbers are definitely too much for him to be able to fight against all four men. Arn Anderson produces a baseball bat! Sid Vicious and Barry Windham hold the arm of Taylor out and Anderson bashes the arm of Taylor with the baseball bat! Taylor screams in pain, holding his arm! Anderson hits the arm with the bat again. The sound of sirens can be heard in the background so The Horsemen take off back to the limo and get away before the police cars roll in. Well, at least, she leads SOME of the crowd in that chant. Schiavone begins the interview by asking Hyatt about the debut of The Miracle Violence Connection tonight as the first two members of The Dangerous Alliance. Hyatt says that those two showed how good they are tonight but she promises to bring in wrestlers that are even better than them. She asks Schiavone what she should name her team. Maybe Hyatt's Hair? The veteran Harley Race begins the match with the high flying Brian Pillman. Pillman immediately tries to speed up the opening minute of the bout with some high flying against Race. Race slows things down when he escapes the ring and begins talking with Chuck O'Connor outside the ring. Pillman bounces off the ropes and leaps over the top rope but O'Connor catches him and runs him back-first into the ring post. The action returns to the ring where Race and O'Connor take control of Flyin' Brian. O'Connor and Race make frequent tags, keeping a fresh man in the ring at all times as they wear down Pillman. Race catches Pillman with a German suplex but only scores a two count as he holds the bridge. Race body slams Pillman near the turnbuckle before climbing up to the top. Race prepares for the diving headbutt but Pillman rolls out of the way and Race crashes onto the mat instead. Both men crawl toward their corners to make the tags. Race tags in O'Connor just as Pillman tags in Lex Luger! Luger rushes in and knocks Race off the apron before attacking O'Connor with punches! O'Connor fires back with a headbutt, flooring Luger to the mat but only for a moment before Luger pops back up. Luger strikes O'Connor with a clothesline. A second clothesline knocks O'Connor back against the ropes. Luger grabs O'Connor and whips him to the opposite side -- O'Connor ducks a Luger clothesline and comes back with a body block on The Total Package. O'Connor picks up Luger and drops him with a body slam. O'Connor picks up Luger and Irish whips him into a corner but it happens to be Luger's corner! Brian Pillman tags himself in and goes after O'Connor with punches and clotheslines. O'Connor fires back with a headbutt and, within moments, O'Connor has Pillman locked in the Reverse Bearhug. Jim Ross is a little bit surprised at the entrances because it's only the two wrestlers who are involved at the ring. No Horsemen, no Samoan Swat Team. The two men meet in the center of the ring and Sting goes right after Vicious with three straight forearm smashes to the chest. Vicious is staggered backward but then shoves Sting down to the mat. Sting pops right up and goes back after Vicious, catching him with a standing dropkick that sends Vicious through the ropes to the floor at ringside. Sting quickly heads to the top turnbuckle and then leaps with a diving axehandle to the top of Vicious's head! Sting releases a howl that is echoed by the crowd. He grabs Vicious and tosses him inside the ring, joining him inside. He grabs Vicious by the legs and looks like he's going for the Scorpion Deathlock early in this match. Instead, Vicious blocks it and shoves Sting back into the corner with his legs. Sting bounces out of the corner and grabs Vicious by the legs again, rolling into a jackknife cover: One, Two, Kickout! Sting gets back to his feet and picks up Vicious, Irish whipping him into the corner. Sting backs up and charges with the Stinger Splash but Vicious moves! The Stinger Splash attempt sends Sting careening over the turnbuckle, catching the ring post with his skull. Sting staggers back into the ring and Vicious picks him up, sending him to the mat with a body slam. The Four Horsemen member yanks up Sting and brings him over his knee with a backbreaker, dropping Sting to the mat. Vicious stomps on Sting and maintains control for several more minutes before he catches Sting with a big boot as Sting comes back off the ropes. Moving forward to the ten minute mark, Vicious has been in control of Sting as the crowd does their best to get behind the Stinger and bring him back into the match. At this point, Vicious has recently had Sting outside the ring, choking him with the cable from one of the cameras. The action returned back inside the ring where Vicious has locked on a crossface on the mat. Sting struggles in the hold as the fans begin clapping and stomping their feet. The energy of the Stingers in the crowd begins to fill Sting with a second wind. Sting begins pushing his way toward his feet as Vicious tries to hold on to the crossface. Sting shifts slightly and brings Vicious to the mat with a belly-to-back suplex. Both men lie on the mat, obviously tired as the referee begins the ten count. The fans work their magic on Sting as he begins using the ropes to pull himself up. Vicious rises up to a knee and Sting goes after him with punches. Sting hits Vicious with a discus punch that knocks Vicious to the mat. Sting moves slowly, stepping out onto the apron and then climbing the turnbuckles. Sting looks down at Vicious and then leaps -- top rope splash by Sting! Sting hits the splash but rolls off as he clutches his ribs for a moment. This gives Vicious a moment to roll out of the ring to avoid getting pinned. Vicious lands on his feet, sucking in air as he staggers along at ringside. He grabs a chair and slides inside the ring. The referee tries to step in and tell Vicious not to use the chair. Vicious shoves the referee out of the way and swings the chair like a baseball bat, striking Sting with the chair! Referee Nick Patrick moves in between Vicious and Sting. Patrick checks on Sting and then throws up a 'X' sign, keeping his body in between The Horsemen and Sting as it looks like Sting is seriously injured. EMTs come rushing toward the ring and they are followed by </em><em><strong>The Samoan Swat Team</strong></em><em>! The SST enter the ring and begin battling with The Horsemen in a four-on-two fight. Samu strikes Arn Anderson with a headbutt. Fatu hits Barry Windham with a clothesline. But it quickly becomes a numbers game as The Horsemen start to overwhelm The Samoan Swat Team. Arn Anderson drops Samu with a Double A Spinebuster. Barry Windham manages to get Fatu up on the top turnbuckle, bringing him to the mat with a Superplex! The Samoan Swat Team are laid out on the mat as The Four Horsemen stand side-by-side-by-side-by-side in the middle of the ring. They've taken Terry Taylor out of the match. Sting looks like he might be injured. Now The Samoan Swat Team are laid out in the center of the ring. What is going to happen to our War Games match? The Horsemen are in total control right now of WCW, especially with Ric Flair as the NWA World Heavyweight champion. All four members of The Horsemen throw up the four fingers into the air as they celebrate in the ring. Jim Ross and Pedro Morales thank everyone for tuning in to WCW Saturday Night. This show will feature a main event of War Games, The Match Beyond. The War Games match itself has seen several changes within the last twenty four hours. </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>The Four Horsemen</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Barry Windham and Sid Vicious, remain on one side of the match. On the other side of the match, we have seen two wrestlers go down with injuries in the last twenty four hours. As those who have watched WCW Saturday Night know, a video was played showcasing The Horsemen assaulting </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Terry Taylor</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> and breaking his arm in the process. This assault has taken Taylor out of the match. Then there was the main event match between Sid Vicious and </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Sting</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. The ending of that match saw Vicious strike Sting with a chair. This strike caused a real injury to the man called Sting, giving him a depressed zygomatic fracture. He is said to be out nearly three months due to this chair shot, meaning that he will not be able to participate in War Games. We are now left with the question of who will team with </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>The Samoan Swat Team</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> in this match or will they be forced to battle four on two inside the War Games cage? Make sure to tune in to Turner Premier to find out.</span><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -Last night we saw the WCW debut of a veteran tag team that has won tag team titles in other promotions when </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Soul Power</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> answered the challenge of </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Doom</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. The team of Rocky Johnson and Tony Atlas defeated The Desperados to earn this NWA World Tag Team titles match. The team of Doom has been absolutely dominant since winning the NWA World Tag Team titles, beating The Southern Boys, The Killer Bees and more tag teams recently. The Godfather </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Teddy Long</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> has been leading them to more and more victories, which led to them making this open challenge for WrestleWar. Both teams will be fighting hard for these belts. But only one team can walk away as the champions.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -Another big match coming up at WrestleWar features two of the heaviest and hardest hitting wrestlers in the company when </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Big Van Vader</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> steps into the ring with </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Junkyard Dog</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> in a dangerous Dog Collar match. This feud began at the beginning of the year when Vader interrupted a speech given by JYD and simply attacked him, leaving the Dog laying. The two met in one on one action at the Clash of the Champions where Vader connected with a Vadersault and scored a big victory over JYD. Following this, it was announced that Big Van Vader joined forces with </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Skandor Akbar</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> and Devastation Inc. Akbar was quick to accept the challenge when Junkyard Dog challenged Vader to a rematch at WrestleWar. But this time the match will take place in Junkyard Dog's specialty match: a Dog Collar match. Both men will be joined together with a chain and spiked dog collars. The only ways to win are by pinfall or knockout. Only one of these men will survive this dangerous match. Make sure you tune in and find out who.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -The NWA United States Tag Team titles will be on the line at WrestleWar 1991 in a very unique match. The champions, </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>The Southern Rockers</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> will be taking on not one team but two teams in a special elimination match. The other two teams are the former United States Tag Team champions </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>The Steiner Brothers</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> and </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Jesse Ventura</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">'s </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Destruction Crew</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. The Southern Rockers won the titles on an episode of WCW Saturday Night from The Steiner Brothers after the use of </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Alexandra York</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">'s laptop. Meanwhile, The Destruction Crew has been attacking The Steiner Brothers in hopes of securing a United States Tag Team titles shot. Obviously, this all changed when The Southern Rockers won the titles. With three teams ready to explode, NWA Championship Committee head and WCW President </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Eric Bischoff</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> made this match so that an official winner can be declared between the three teams. Only two wrestlers will be in the ring at a time but once one wrestler is pinned, submitted, disqualified or counted out, that team will be eliminated and it will be brought down to a tag team match. Only one team will walk away with the United States Tag Team titles.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -Last month, the WCW World Six Man Tag Team titles were announced and a tournament was set up to determine the first champions. This tournament begins right here at WrestleWar when you will see the team of </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Bobby Eaton</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> and </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Asian Nightmare</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> take on </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Z-Man</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> and two mystery partners. We haven't heard any word or rumor on who Z-Man's partners are going to be. There can only be some speculation there on who Z-Man's partners are going to be. Will it be someone from another promotion or someone already on the roster? Make sure you tune in to find out just who those mystery partners are and if they can help Z-Man defeat </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Jim Cornette</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">'s team.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -The opening match for WCW WrestleWar 1991 will be the wrestler known as The Total Package </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Lex Luger</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> defending the NWA United States title against </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Chuck O'Connor</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. When O'Connor made his debut last month, he was approached by </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Harley Race</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. Race looked to help take O'Connor under his wing and had him in his corner when Race took on Luger for the United States title. Race lost that match but O'Connor has been assaulting Luger ever since. O'Connor and Race kept Luger from defending against </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Brian Pillman</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> once and then when they finally had the match Race and O'Connor interrupted it and caused a no contest. O'Connor and Race scored a tag team victory twenty four hours ago and now O'Connor has a chance to leave WrestleWar 1991 as the United States champion.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> -Plus we will hear an answer from </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Eric Bischoff</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> on whether or not </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Dusty Rhodes</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> gets another World title shot, </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Paul E. <p>That's a tough break with Sting going down for three months. Taylor not quite so much, but it's still not good as you were pushing him very well.</p><p> </p><p>

Lex Luger - <em>Lex picks up a big win to keep the US title around his waist.</em></p><p>

Z-Man and ?? - <em>I suspect a full on White Meat Babyface team here.</em></p><p>

Michael Hayes - <em>PS does some Pretty Shady things to score a win.</em></p><p>

Southern Rockers - <em>Steiners vs. Crew doesn't really need these titles involved.</em></p><p>

Vader - <em>Not a chance for the Dog here.</em></p><p>

Doom - <em>So much doom.</em></p><p>

Four Horsemen - <em>I'm thinking Dusty and Dustin step in to replace Sting and Taylor.</em></p>

Thanks for the predictions and comments. Since most of these are focused on the Sting injury, I just thought I would group them together here. The Sting injury is definitely a huge curveball thrown into my plans as I move forward. I don't think that it's too much of a spoiler to say that I had originally planned on Sting regaining the NWA World Heavyweight title sooner rather than later. Those plans have obviously changed since the injury.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> To give a little more OOC background as we move forward, the Terry Taylor injury is kayfabe. I wanted to remove him from the War Games match, not knowing that Sting was going to get hurt on the same show and leave me down two wrestlers instead of one. I can, also, say that there is something huge that happens at WrestleWar that will change my plans even further. More on that following the posting of the show. Not sure when the show will be posted but I am thinking that I will be posting it in two parts. One of them will be the main show and the second one will be the War Games match as I believe that deserves a big writeup all on it's own. Thank you for your patience and I hope y'all are enjoying this so far. Predictions are still open for the show and, as always, I enjoy each and every comment that comes my way on either diary.</span></p>

The match begins with the two men meeting in the center of the ring. Luger tries to shove O'Connor backward but O'Connor just stares at him. The larger man shoves Luger and Luger goes flying backward into a corner. O'Connor moves in and begins throwing punches to The Total Package. O'Connor goes to whip Luger to the opposite side but Luger reverses things and O'Connor crashes into the corner. Luger bounces off the ropes and nails O'Connor with a big forearm smash that sends O'Connor through the ropes to the outside. Luger plays to the crowd and they cheer for him as he stands tall in the ring. O'Connor speaks with Harley Race outside the ring before returning inside. The two men lock up and things move a little slowly for the opening five minutes between these two. O'Connor takes control and begins focusing on the back of Luger. He places Luger over his knee with a backbreaker, looking for a submission but Luger refuses to give up and lose his title. As the match moves forward, the crowd tries to get behind Luger, trying to will him to make a second wind. This doesn't happen for now as O'Connor sends Luger to the mat with a body slam and then bounces off the ropes, hitting a running splash. O'Connor looks frustrated and a little winded as the match moves past the ten minute mark. O'Connor picks up Luger and sends him into a corner. He tries to follow in with an avalanche but Luger gets his feet up! O'Connor crashes into Luger's boot! The crowd cheers as Luger rushes and hits O'Connor with a clothesline! A second clothesline! A third one knocks O'Connor backward and gets him tied up in the ropes! Tony Schiavone says that he thinks Luger might have been playing possum and getting O'Connor tired. Luger throws some massive punches to O'Connor while he's tied up in the ropes. Harley Race steps over and helps get O'Connor freed from the ropes. Luger makes the symbol for the Human Torture Rack! Can he get O'Connor up in the hold? Especially while his back is hurt from O'Connor's focus on it? Luger grabs O'Connor and starts to lift him up but he's unable to hold O'Connor up and crashes onto his chest with O'Connor down on his back. Luger winces, seemingly in a lot of pain as he clutches at his chest. O'Connor slowly gets to his feet and stomps on Luger's back. Harley Race climbs on the apron, getting the referee's attention. It's going to be the start of his group walking out of Spring Stampede as the NWA World Six Man Tag Team champions. It doesn't matter who Z-Man has as his partner. Hey, he had no clue that Z-Man even had any friends. Rick Martel starts things off with Akio Sato and the two men definitely show off some wrestling chops as they go back and forth inside the ring with neither man gaining a decent advantage until Martel catches Sato with a vertical suplex. Martel tags in Tito Santana and Santana gets Sato in a side headlock and brings him to the mat, scoring a quick two count before Sato fights out and goes to the eyes of Santana. He drags him over into Sato's corner and Sato tags in Pat Tanaka. Tanaka fires off chops to Santana before dropping him with a headbutt. With the urging of Jim Cornette, his team use quick and frequent tags to keep a fresh man in the ring. Asian Nightmare shows some double team prowess, including a move where Tanaka holds Santana like a bridge between himself and the ropes and Sato leaps over him, crashing onto the back of Santana. That move earns a two count before Z-Man breaks it up. The match turns when Eaton goes for an Alabama Jam to finish the match but Santana rolls out of the way and Eaton crashes on the mat. Santana crawls over and tags in Z-Man as Eaton tags in Sato! Z-Man comes in like a house on fire, attacking everything that moves. He catches Sato with a Savate Kick and then moves in but Eaton tags himself back in. Eaton comes in and lays into Z-Man with a left hand punch. He picks up Z-Man and whips him to the ropes where Z-Man makes a tag to Tito Santana. Z-Man comes back and ducks a clothesline attempt by Eaton. At the beginning of the match, the two men jaw in the center of the ring before Hayes slaps the taste out of Von Erich's mouth! Von Erich responds by going for the Iron Claw in the first thirty seconds! Hayes quickly breaks free and exits the ring, knowing that he came within inches of losing this bout quickly. Hayes returns inside the ring and Von Erich takes control, focusing in on an armbar on the Freebird. Hayes pulls himself up and grabs Von Erich by the hair, dragging him back into the corner. Referee Mike Atkins asks for a clean break but Hayes declines with a poke to the eye of Von Erich. Hayes takes control over Von Erich and tosses Von Erich out of the ring. Hayes joins him outside the ring and stomps on Von Erich before using the cable from one of the cameras to choke his rival. Hayes releases after a few moments and Von Erich grabs at his throat, staggering away from Hayes. Von Erich slides inside the ring and Hayes meets him there. Hayes trips up Von Erich and drops an elbow, making a cover and scoring a two count. Hayes maintains control until the eight minute mark when Von Erich fights free of a rear chinlock with a belly-to-back suplex. Von Erich starts to get control of the match, bringing Hayes over with a vertical suplex and then a second one in a row! Von Erich steps back and waits for Hayes to get to his feet. He goes for a discus punch but Hayes pulls referee Mike Atkins in the way and Von Erich catches Atkins with the punch instead. Following a coin flip backstage, it's Scott Steiner and Steven Doll that begin the match. Scott starts strong against Doll, hitting an early Steinerline and then a belly-to-belly suplex that sends Doll flying. Scott tags in his brother Rick, who goes around the ring barking before striking Doll with a Steinerline of his own. Rick picks up Doll and places him on his shoulders but Doll drops down behind Rick and shoves him chest-first into a corner. Doll tags in Mike Enos and it's the first time that we see a shift of teams in the ring. Enos comes in and catches Rick Steiner with a big boot. He picks up Rick and brings him down with a body slam before tagging in Wayne Bloom. Bloom comes in and the two double team Rick with a double gutbuster before Bloom makes the cover but Scott Steiner breaks up the pinfall quickly. Scott exits the ring and Bloom picks up Rick. Bloom sends Rick into the one neutral corner but Rick bounces out and catches Bloom with a Steinerline. Rick drops to his knees and then begins crawling toward his brother. Bloom crawls toward The Southern Rockers but they both drop down off the apron, avoiding being tagged in. Scott Steiner is tagged in and he goes right after Wayne Bloom, throwing punches and catches Bloom with a Steiner Screwdriver! Scott motions to his brother and Rick heads to the top turnbuckle. Scott lifts Bloom on his shoulders and Timothy King tags himself in. Rick hits the top rope bulldog/Steinerizer on Bloom! In the ring, Rick Steiner locks Timothy King in a single leg Boston crab! King refuses to submit, however! He struggles and fights for the ropes but Rick fights back, as well, trying to keep King from reaching the ropes. King does finally manage to reach the ropes to break the hold. Rick makes a motion to his brother, who has returned to the ring apron. He picks up King and lifts him up on his shoulders! Scott heads to the top turnbuckle just as Michael Wallstreet comes running toward the ring from the back. Alexandra York climbs on the apron to get the referee's attention and in comes Michael Wallstreet with a laptop! Wallstreet breaks the laptop over Rick Steiner's back, causing him to drop King. Scott leaps off the top turnbuckle with a flying cross body to Michael Wallstreet! King crawls over and tags in Steven Doll. Doll quickly enters the ring, ducking a Steinerline from Scott Steiner and sending him over the top rope with a back body drop! This all begins when </em><em><strong>Ric Flair</strong></em><em> defeated </em><em><strong>Sting</strong></em><em> for the NWA World Heavyweight title on the first ever live edition of WCW Saturday Night. Following that victory, we move ahead to Clash of the Champions where Flair defends the title against </em><em><strong>Terry Taylor</strong></em><em>. That match goes to a time limit draw. Then it is announced that </em><em><strong>The Four Horsemen</strong></em><em> will be on one side of the War Games match against a team led by former NWA World Heavyweight champion Sting! Sting announces early on that Terry Taylor will join him for the War Games match. On the first Saturday night in February, Sting and Taylor re-introduce </em><em><strong>The Samoan Swat Team</strong></em><em> to WCW and announce that they will be the final two members of Sting's team. So we have our match set or so we thought. The WCW Saturday Night before WrestleWar changed nearly everything with our War Games match. The Four Horsemen play a video showing an attack on Terry Taylor at a gas station. The Horsemen use a baseball bat to break the arm of Taylor putting him out of the match and making Sting's team down by one man. Then, during the main event contest, Sid Vicious struck Sting with a steel chair across the face, injuring him. Now, Sting is, also, out of the War Games match due to injury. This leaves only The Samoan Swat Team on one side against the four members of The Four Horsemen. One person from each team will start for a five minute period. During this five minute period, a coin flip will occur in the back to determine which side gets the one man advantage. Then each period will be two minutes until all eight men are in the ring. That is when The Match Beyond begins. When all eight men are in the ring, the match can only end by submission or surrender. The match cannot end until all eight men are in the ring. The announcement of the first wrestlers to come out begins with the arrival of </em><em><strong>Arn Anderson</strong></em><em>. The Enforcer holds up four fingers as he walks toward the ring, saying that this is going to be an easy night for The Horsemen. He checks out the cage and then enters inside, moving to the far end and relaxing against a corner. Once he has made his entrance, </em><em><strong>Samu</strong></em><em> comes out from the back. Anderson staggers backward into a corner. The Enforcer fires back with a punch but then has to shake his hand as a punch to the head of Samu actually hurt him instead. He Irish whips Anderson across and then charges but Anderson moves and Samu hits the corner. Samu staggers into a Spinebuster and Anderson gets to his knees, looking down at Samu. The announcers let everyone know that the coin flip has happened backstage and the Four Horsemen have won the coin toss. This means that they will have the one man advantage through War Games. In the ring, Anderson continues to battle with Samu during this five minute period. Anderson and Samu continue to battle back and forth until the countdown begins. The crowd counts along with the countdown until it reaches zero. It's time for the first one man advantage for the Four Horsemen. Arn Anderson climbs into the first ring and grabs Samu, holding his arms back. Windham pulls himself up and throws some punches to the chest and abdomen of Samu. Windham and Anderson lift Samu up and over with a double vertical suplex. Samu crashes to the mat and Anderson motions to Windham. Windham adjusts his glove and puts the Claw on Samu! Samu's eyes go wide and he begins pulling himself up despite the Claw! Samu grabs Windham's wrist but takes a kick to the ribs by Anderson. Windham releases the claw and The Horsemen kick Samu in the ribs. They go for another double vertical suplex but Samu blocks it and takes them both over in his own double vertical suplex! Fatu goes to Anderson and Samu goes to Windham. They get them in opposite corners and climb up, raining headbutt after headbutt as the crowd counts along. They reach ten and then drop down, Irish whipping Anderson and Windham to run right into each other in the center of the ring. Anderson and Windham fall to the mat and The Samoan Swat Team members head to the top turnbuckles. They look at each other and Windham pops up, rushing Samu -- body slam off the top turnbuckle by Windham! Fatu leaps but Anderson gets his knees up and Fatu lands hard on the knees of The Enforcer. Windham rushes and catches Samu with a clothesline. Anderson gets to his feet and catches Fatu with an Anderson DDT. The Horsemen are definitely in control and when the buzzer sounds, they are going to get a third member and a three on two advantage. The commentators take this moment to discuss what's going to happen when the buzzer sounds next for The Samoan Swat Team. Barry Windham throws Fatu over into the second ring and it's a three-on-one beatdown of Samu in the first ring. Ric Flair goes for the knee, chop-blocking Samu in a move that would be illegal in the NFL. Flair drags the leg over the bottom rope and drops with a seated senton on the leg. Flair moves Samu to the middle of the ring and locks in the Figure Four Leglock! The crowd boos as Flair shifts things around and grabs the arms of Arn Anderson. Anderson gives him some leverage as Flair is looking to break Samu's leg. Barry Windham drops to his knees and begins punching Samu. Between the hits on the cage and the punches, Samu has been busted open! The first bit of blood has occured in this match. In the second ring, Fatu is coming to and realizing what is happening. Fatu pulls himself up and goes to the top turnbuckle. He looks down at Windham, who turns around and Fatu hits a flying cross body that catches both Windham and Anderson! Anderson had to release the help he was giving Flair on the Figure Four and Samu managed to reverse the pressure! It was quickly broken and the announcers start talking about that The Samoan Swat Team could use some help out there. All of the men are down in the ring right now as the audience begins the countdown. What is going to happen when that buzzer sounds? The buzzer sounds and...nobody comes out. They head over, leaving Rhodes and Ric Flair in the first ring. Rhodes walks toward Flair, who is begging off. Flair reaches the corner and when Rhodes comes in, he pokes him in the eye before turning him around in the corner. Flair hits Rhodes with a chop! A second chop! A third one and Rhodes staggers away from the corner. Flair reaches into his trunks and pulls out a pair of brass knuckles! He slides them on and waits for Rhodes to turn around. Flair throws a knucked punch but Rhodes ducks! He catches Flair with an atomic drop and Flair staggers forward right into the steel cage! Rhodes runs Flair against the three sides of the cage and Flair staggers on his feet before falling face-first on the mat. Ric Flair has been busted open! In the second ring, Arn Anderson has a crimson mask going on as he takes another headbutt from Fatu! Barry Windham gets the advantage on Samu and lifts him on the top turnbuckle. He picks up Dusty Rhodes and shows his power as he lifts The American Dream and tosses him like a lawn dart into the steel cage. Ric Flair still has his brass knuckles on and he begins going to town on the forehead of Rhodes, busting him wide open. Vicious and Flair are double teaming Rhodes in ring 1. In ring 2, Arn Anderson is back on his feet, wiping blood from his eyes. He catches Fatu with an Anderson Spinebuster. Barry Windham is on the second turnbuckle. He leaps toward Samu but Samu catches him with a clothesline to the gut that spins Windham in a 180 before he crashes to the mat. The brawl is absolutely on in both rings as the announcers talk about the fact that there's only one man left and we have no clue as to who that man might be. So far Dusty Rhodes has been a surprise but he is getting beat down in ring 1. Sid Vicious sets up Rhodes for a Power Bomb but Rhodes blocks! Rhodes catches Vicious with a deadly uppercut to the crotch! That is a definite way to stop the big man! Rhodes ducks another Ric Flair punch and brings him to the mat with a running bulldog. Rhodes takes the brass knuckles and begins punching Sid Vicious in the back with those knuckles! Arn Anderson climbs into ring 1 and attacks Rhodes with a double axehandle to the back. With Rhodes busted open, Anderson grabs Rhodes by the head and drags that wound across his boot before dropping The American Dream to the mat. The crowd begins the countdown. It is almost time for The Match Beyond. The final buzzer sounds and all of the attention turns to the ramp to see who is coming. For a long few moments, no one comes down the ramp. Arn Anderson moves over and Luger catches him with a chair shot to the head! Sid Vicious is on a knee and Luger catches him on the back with the chair! Ric Flair moves over and Luger catches him in the ribs with a chair shot and then another over the back. Flair cries out in pain, dropping to his knees. The crowd is absolutely right behind The Total Package as Barry Windham is the only man left that hasn't felt the chair. And that's only because Windham is in ring 2 with The Samoan Swat Team. At this point, everyone except Lex Luger is busted wide open. Luger strikes Flair with another chair shot and Flair goes down to the mat. The Samoan Swat Team seize the moment and climb to the top turnbuckles. They look down at Flair in ring 1 and then leap with a double flying headbutt but Samu's strikes Flair in the throat! Flair writhes in pain on the mat, grabbing his throat. He cannot even talk. All he can do is open and close his mouth as he writhes in pain. The attention turns elsewhere as Luger catches Sid Vicious with a 360 powerslam! The Total Package is in control of this match but his chair is down on the mat. Barry Windham enters ring 1 and grabs the chair, striking down both members of The Samoan Swat Team! Dusty Rhodes catches Windham with a spear, sending the chair flying. Arn Anderson is checking on Flair, calling for some type of help. In another part of the ring, Luger picks up Sid Vicious and locks him in the Human Torture Rack! Vicious is locked in tight on Luger's shoulders with the announcers reminding us about the attack by Rhodes on Vicious' back earlier in the night. This was a huge show that saw the crowning of a new NWA United States champion, </span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Chuck O'Connor</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. At first I was pretty surprised to see Studd pick up the US title, but now that Lex has made his way into the World title picture, it makes more sense. Losing both Sting AND Flair now leaves a huge hole in your main event, so hopefully you will be able to fill those gaps until whenever they return. I really liked WrestleWar, so I look forward to seeing what comes next!

Studd and Vegas - The Bees were JTTS back in 1987, let alone 1991. They put over the future stars here.

Martel and Santana - Really liked seeing these two appear! They do make a great little White Meat Babyface triangle along with Zenk, and I want to see what you do with them until Z-Man eventually either rises or destructs.

Los Gringos Locos - Great pick up with these two! The Fabs are probably far more popular, but the Gringos winning here would put them instantly on the map.

Larry Zbyszko - "The Living Legend" cheats to win.

Steiner Brothers - Nice win to put WrestleWar and the US belts behind them.

Comments On The Diary/Previous Show: Read through the whole diary liked what I have seen. You have a massive tag team division going and I like it. Like how you almost had Flair lose, but something happens reversing the decision. Overall a great diary so far. Looking forward to seeing more.

<p><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>OOC:</strong></span><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> I'll be posting this in both my diaries in case there are people who read one and not the other. This Saturday, I will be going on a trip back east to attend my sister's wedding. I will be gone from Saturday to Tuesday the 11th. So you can probably not expect any updates from me between those times. I say probably because you never know what might happen while I am back east. But I thank everyone for your patience.</span></p><p> ===</p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Beejus" data-cite="Beejus" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45394" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>At first I was pretty surprised to see Studd pick up the US title, but now that Lex has made his way into the World title picture, it makes more sense. Thanks for the predictions and comments! I was sure that O'Connor winning the United States title would be a surprise. However, like you said, the title loss definitely served a purpose as it allowed me to elevate Luger. Which was perfect timing considering now it's not only Sting and Terry Taylor but Ric Flair that is injured. I definitely have to make sure that I have guys that will fill in the gaps. As far as the Dusty finishes go, it's something that I haven't seen a lot of in diaries, personally. But it's something that definitely goes with classic wrestling. Glad that it's something that someone else has enjoyed. Thanks for your comments on my diary and I look forward to hearing more from you as we move forward. From the video, we move to the interview stage where </em><em><strong>Tony Schiavone</strong></em><em> is standing by with </em><em><strong>Junkyard Dog</strong></em><em>. Schiavone congratulates JYD on the victory at WrestleWar and asks him what is next for the Dog. JYD says that the Dog had his day last Sunday by defeating a man that many claimed was unbeatable in Vader. But there are many more important days for the Dog. Like this Monday night when he steps in the ring with Chuck O'Connor and wins the United States title. That is going to be an important day of the Dog. But this is an important day as well. It is important because he signed up to get some backup against Devastation, Inc. He went looking all over the world to find some partners to take on that stable and he has found some. Dangerously, steps in the ring with The Natural Dustin Rhodes, who has Missy Hyatt in his corner. Within moments of the opening bell, Zbyszko slaps the taste out of Rhodes' mouth in the center of the ring. Rhodes goes right after Zbyszko, throwing punches until he knocks Zbyszko back to the ropes. Zbyszko cowers in the ropes as the referee steps in to pull Rhodes away. With Rhodes distracted by the referee, Zbyszko takes control with a poke to the eye. Zbyszko wraps Rhodes with a headlock and then takes him over to the mat, scoring a one count as Rhodes' shoulders are down on the mat. The Living Legend remains in control for several minutes as he focuses in on the neck of Rhodes. Outside the ring, Missy Hyatt tries to get the crowd involved to pump up Rhodes. Zbyszko scores a two count on Rhodes following a swinging neckbreaker. Then he goes for the Larryland Dreamer but Rhodes gets his arm up, blocking the move. The crowd claps and stomps their feet for Rhodes as he fights through, lifting Zbyszko and bringing him down with an atomic drop! He bounces off the ropes and catches Zbyszko with a lariat, bringing both men to the mat. The referee begins the ten count but both men get up before the count can reach ten. The two men meet in the ring where Rhodes throws punches and then a bionic elbow that he learned from his father. Rhodes picks up the fallen Zbyszko and sends him into a corner, climbing up and raining down punches. Once he reaches ten, he drops down and the referee steps in to break things up because they're in the corner. Rhodes backs to the ropes as the referee checks on Zbyszko. With the referee's back turned, Paul E. Dangerously climbs on the apron behind Dustin Rhodes and smashes him with his cell phone! The crowd boos as Rhodes stumbles forward. Rocky Johnson says that he understands about WCW leaving the NWA and this is why he went to Eric Bischoff personally to find out what is going to happen regarding the new WCW World Tag Team titles. He says that he was informed there will be a rematch at Spring Stampede next month between Soul Power and Doom where the winners will be crowned the new WCW World Tag Team champions. Johnson says that The Rock and Mr. USA will be the first ever WCW World Tag Team champions because they proved less than a week ago that they are better than Doom. Johnson says that just like at WrestleWar Ron Simmons and Butch Reed are going to find themselves in between a rock and a hard place. Atlas flexes and adds in that Soul Power is going to prove once and for all that they are the best tag team in the business today. Atlas flexes a little more and we go to our main event contest.]</em></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <strong>Match #6</strong></p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45394" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p><img alt="D2MBQs4.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/D2MBQs4.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="2aFcRN0.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/2aFcRN0.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="7bAaXoi.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/7bAaXoi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="EPjkltT.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/EPjkltT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="x5eAKSn.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/x5eAKSn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="eF4dGgn.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/eF4dGgn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> <strong>Miracle Violence Connection vs. Dusty Rhodes and Lex Luger</strong></p><p> </p><p> <em>[This main event contest features Paul E. Dangerously leading the Miracle Violence Connection down to the ring as they step inside to face two men who have byes in the first round of the WCW World Heavyweight title tournament: 'The American Dream' Dusty Rhodes and 'The Total Package' Lex Luger. The power of Luger shows up early in the match with a clothesline on Terry Gordy that knocks him from the ring. Steve Williams steps inside the ring and goes face-to-face with The Total Package. After a few back and forth punches, Williams strikes Luger with a knee to the ribs. He knocks Luger backwards but Luger falls into his corner and tags in Dusty Rhodes. The American Dream slows the momentum down slightly, waiting for Terry Gordy to enter the ring instead of facing off with Steve Williams as Gordy is the legal man. Gordy and Rhodes start the match off strong with some back and forth brawling. Gordy takes control with a body slam on Rhodes. He tags in Dr. Death and Steve Williams stomps in, beginning to work over the legendary Dusty Rhodes. Williams brings Rhodes to the mat and begins seemingly tying him up in a pretzel, looking to get a submission out of Rhodes. After he doesn't get a submission, Williams picks up Rhodes and shows his power when he lifts Rhodes in a chicken wing submission before slamming him down to the mat. Williams rolls Rhodes over onto his back and makes a cover: One, Two, Broken Up By Lex Luger! Williams stomps on Rhodes and then picks him up, tossing him back into his corner as Paul E. Dangerously looks on from ringside. Dr. Death tags in Terry Gordy and Gordy kicks Rhodes in the gut three straight times before bringing him to the mat with a side belly-to-belly suplex. Gordy walks over and taunts Lex Luger, bringing Luger into the ring. The referee steps in to send Luger back to the corner. In comes Steve Williams and Williams and Gordy use their combined strength to bring Rhodes down with a double power bomb! Rhodes is planted on the mat and Gordy makes the cover:]</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> [....1....</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> ....2....</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> ...Shoulder Up!]</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> [The match moves forward as Williams and Gordy continue their control over Dusty Rhodes. Gordy locks Rhodes in a Boston Crab in the center of the ring. Rhodes shakes his head, refusing to submit while Lex Luger claps his hands in the corner, getting the crowd involved. Rhodes struggles toward the ropes, edging toward a neutral corner. Somehow, Rhodes finds the strength to kick Gordy into the corner in an almost catapult-like move! Gordy bounces out of the corner and Rhodes drops him with a bionic elbow to the back of the neck. Both men are down and moving toward their corners. The crowd clap and stomp, trying to give Rhodes the strength to get to Lex Luger. Gordy is the first man to make the tag. In comes Steve Williams! Dr. Death grabs Rhodes by the legs but Rhodes kicks him off and then makes the tag to the Total Package. Luger comes in and throws a punch to Williams! He begins exchanging blows with Dr. Death before picking him up and bringing him down with a body slam. Terry Gordy comes in and is taken down with a big running forearm smash! Slowly, in comes Dusty Rhodes to match up with Terry Gordy. Luger turns his attention back to Williams. He ducks a Steve Williams clothesline and then catches him with a big 360 Powerslam! Luger gets to his feet and makes a motion for the Human Torture Rack! Paul E. Dangerously climbs up on the apron but Dusty Rhodes knocks Terry Gordy into him, knocking him down to the ringside area. Luger picks up Williams and up onto his shoulders. He's stretching Williams with the Human Torture Rack! But Gordy knocks Dusty Rhodes into Lex Luger! Luger drops Williams from the impact and Terry Gordy throws Luger out of the ring. Steve Williams rolls under the bottom rope and goes after Luger! He rams Luger into the guardrail as the referee begins the count. Dr. Death begins throwing punches, which are thrown back by Luger! The two men continue to brawl outside the ring ignoring the ten count by the official. Referee Randy Anderson reaches ten and then calls for the bell. Steve Williams catches Lex Luger with a kick to the groin outside the ring before tossing him back inside. Terry Gordy catches Dusty Rhodes with the Oriental Spike! Williams lifts Luger up on his shoulders and hits the Oklahoma Stampede! </em><em><strong>Paul E. Dangerously</strong></em><em> smiles as he dusts himself off and climbs inside the ring to direct traffic in this beatdown. Before things can get too dangerous, though, </em><em><strong>The Steiner Brothers</strong></em><em> come rushing out toward the ring! Rick and Scott Steiner go right into it with the Miracle Violence Connection! Rick Steiner charges Terry Gordy and trips him up with a double leg takedown! The two men roll around inside the ring, exchanging forearm blows. Scott Steiner ducks a clothesline from Steve Williams and grabs him around the waist but Paul E. Dangerously strikes Scott Steiner in the back of the head with his cell phone! Dr. Death slips around behind Scott and drops him with an incredible Backdrop Driver! Rick Steiner has taken control over Terry Gordy and gets to his feet, stomping and kicking on Steve Williams! Doug Dillinger finally begins leading the WCW Security team out from the back! The security enters the ring and begins separating the two tag teams. What a war has taken place here! That war will definitely continue at Spring Stampede but what will happen on the very first WCW Nitro? Make sure you tune in this Monday night on TBS to find out! We'll see you there!
