He started that way with you, but I am curious to see the sinister side soon. Francis Burke v Vance Sturt #BakersNeedWinsToo Australian Devil v D-Pod Two guys trending up, but I like D-Pod here. His charisma makes him valuable in YEPW and keeping him (and his mouth) strong is a good business decision. Black Flash, Bile, Eraser & Jester v Jackson Slade, Mortimer Pyle, Quick Silver & White Wasp The old "nobody wins" wrap up as 8 guys get crazy. John Lions Posted August 6, 2018 Share Posted August 6, 2018 YEPW Fully Charged III Predictions Lone Rider v Trey Tallman Lone Rider is awesome and Trey's gimmick is all about being bland in a vibrant promotion Francis Burke v Vance Sturt Burke's whole gimmick is mocking Jackson Slade, I love Vance's drug dealer gimmick Australian Devil v D-Pod Devil has looked really strong lately, he has the edge Black Flash, Bile, Eraser & Jester v Jackson Slade, Mortimer Pyle, Quick Silver & White Wasp My brain initially said that the faces would get their comeback win, but the heels are 4 guys with a singular goal, while the faces are not all on the same page yet. Ventris: This is a great opportunity, to show Jester what we are made of, he might back off for a bit. Silver: Yes, and Black Flash. Ventris: Well, yeah, him too but it's Jester we concentrating on right now. Silver: Don't you see Prof.? Tonight, we can take care of both of them. The camera pans to White Wasp who's furiously scribbling in his "How to be a Super Hero" notebook. Wasp: Okay, new note, take... on.... challenges.... you could..... never..... succeed at, full stop. Silver: What was that? Wasp: Uh, nothing. Ventris: Wasp is right, we can't take them both on, Jester is our focus and.... Ventris stops mid sentence as Jackson Slade enters the fray. Almost frowning instead of his cool, calm demanor. Slade: Okay, first of all, masks, totally cool dudes, superheroes are the business right now. Silver puffs out his chest and smiles proudly while Wasp and Ventris share a puzzled look to each other. Slade: But two, saying you'll take out Jester is totally uncool. That skull faced joking maniac is mine and you better not get in my way, cause that would be uncool. Ventris looks at Wasp again, who shrugs before replying. Ventris: Sure, Slade, we'll stay outta your way. Slade: Cool. Slade leaves and Ventris looks at him leaving before he turns and says Ventris: Well, looks like you can concentrate on Black Flash tonight after all Silver. Silver fist pumps as Ventris looks into space with a worried frown on his face. Rating: E+ Ceri: Ceri here and I'm like totally happy to be here. Today, I have the mysterious Lone Rider beside me. So, Lone Rider, what's up? Rider: I have been lead to this place. I have traveled the outback for years, covering many miles of the wasteland, vanquishing the darkness who have done the Earth and it's people wrong.... ???: Hey, this guy's weird. Rider: .... I go where justice is needed and justice has drawn me to his place. I know not why I am here, I know not who I seek, all I know is that it is here that justice must be served.... Ceri: Whoa..... That's like totally super cool. Rider: I am sensing a disturbance here and I must find it. However, everybody has some darkness in them, even you ditzy lady.... ???: I'll show you the darknessi= in me... HELLO!!!??? I'M THRENING YOU HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rider: ......So, I must rummage through all the darkness and find the one with the most power.... and eliminate them. Rider walks off the screen as Ceri runs after him screaming, barely audible, that "She's like totally the brightest person she knows, there's no darkness in her" as again, going unnoticed, Trey Tallman comes into view in the background. Trey: If only they knew.... Rating: E v Lone Rider (E-) v Trey Tallman (E-) It's a formality, isn't it? Again, Lone Rider's entrance is slow and fear inducing but it last's longer than the match. Platten: Can you spell Destruction? Good god, he's impressive. Reacher: D - E - S...... Truction, so yeah I can. Platten: It.. It was a rhetorical question. Trey does show a little promise, dodging a few of Rider's moves but the big problem is that seems very unpredictable and a Ride On from the man with the skull mask gives him the vicotory. Winner: Lone Rider Rating: E- Backstage, D-Pod is doing jumping jacks while Francis Burke reads the most recent issue of "Australia's Wacky World of Wrestling" magazine. When suddenly a limo pulls up that get's Burke's attention. Burke's eyes widen as Gregory Grace and Nigel Darling get out of the limo, Burke jumps up running over to D-Pod. Burke: Pod... Pod look. D-Pod: What? Burke: Look who it is! D-Pod: Uh, should I know these guys? Burke: These Guys?! They are Gregory Grace and Nigel Darling they're super famous, all wrestling fans know who they are. D-Pod: Well, I'm too busy doing jumping jacks and exercising to... Burke: I'm gonna go over to them. Burke walks over to Grace and Darling who look at him in disgust Burke: Uh excuse me... Grace: Dexter, who on Earth is this? Darling: I have no idea. Burke: Oh, am, my name is Francis and I... Grace: Ah, one of those "Fansistents" Darling: Idiot. Grace: Look here Frankie. Burke: Actually, it's Francis Grace: Whatever. Here on set, we are the stars, you are the help. You do not approach me, you do not look at me, you do not think about me even when I'm not around. Now beat it before I call the police. Francis then turns around, clearly upset and walks away. Grace: Now, where's my trailer. Darling: Right this way. Rating: D- v Francis Burke (E) v Vance Sturt (E) It's obvious the rejection from his idols has really hurt his confidence as Burke looks really down and Sturt is able to dominate because of it. Reacher: Sturt looks great, the recent fortunes of his bakery are great and it's translating to the ring. Platten: Bakery? Reacher: Yes, Bakery. Don't be annoyed because Sturt is succeeding in life and you can do nothing but sit there and talk. Platten: Well, seems it's my job... Burke can't get any momentum and soon enough Sturt hits the Crack-or-Jack Winner: Vance Sturt Rating: E v Australian Devil (E+) v D-Pod (E+) In true Australian Devil fashion, he turns up, destroys his opponent and leaves again and this match looked to be going that same way. He dominates D-Pod and really it looks like he's dead in the water until.... Platten: Oooooh boy. That right hand has fired up the Pod. Reacher: The Pod? Platten: Get ready for Blast Off!!! Reacher: Are you high? D-Pod begins to run around in circles in the ring. Devil tries to keep an eye on him but even he is finding it difficult. D-Pod then takes advantage with a kick to the face that knocks Devil to the match, D-Pod is in control... ACK! Not anymore, Devil grabs D-Pod by the throat sick of his games. Slamming him to the mat, Devil gets his chance to hit the Tumbleweed Legdrop, it connects and that's all she wrote. Winner: Australian Devil Rating: E+ Backstage, Mortimer Pyle is putting on his wrestling boots as Vance Sturt stares at a whiteboard with the title "How to give a kick to our Flour?" Sturt: Come on, Mortimer. We have work to do. Pyle: I have my match next. Sturt: Oh, don't mind that, I have promised my customers a brand new product, you told me you'd help. Pyle: Yeah, and I will. It's just I have a match. You had one earlier. Sturt: That was different. Pyle: Regardless, I gotta go. I have an idea about what we can do to make this new product, if you let me go do my match, I'll tell you what it is. Sturt: Or.... You could tell me now? Pyle: No. I'm going to my match now, if you want to know the secret, you'll still be here when I come back. Sturt: This seems important to you, it'd be a pity if something happened to you, don't you think? Pyle: Hehe, being threatened by a baker, I'm almost certain you don't have the kinda power that you'd need to take four men down, including me. Plus, if you want to know the secret, you'll stay out of it. Look, I'll be right back. Sturt: No.. wait... Pyle walks off as Sturt is left alone. He takes out his phone. Sturt: Leave him be, I need the secret. Sturt then hangs up the phone and stares off to where Pyle exited to. Rating: E+ &&&v&&&w/ Black Flash (D-), Bile (E), Eraser (E+) & Jester (D-) v Jackson Slade (D-), Mortimer Pyle (E+), Quick Silver (D-) & White Wasp (E) w/ Prof. Ventris This match is complete madness. Really the ref can't keep it together at times but it doesn't get into DQ territory. The Soul Collectors and Black Flash look good and really isolate many of the good guys. It's not til Slade gets in the ring and begins to dominate Bile. However, he stops attacking him and wants Jester. Bile looks up as Jester begins to laugh before he tags in. It's a big stand off as Jester and Slade stand face to face but then The Soul Collectors and Black Flash rush in, but the good guys quickly rush in too. Platten: Oh boy, here we go. Reacher: It's a blood bath. In the confusion, White Wasp gets tagged in and with a Punchline, Jester gets the win. Winner: Black Flash, Bile , Eraser & Jester Rating: D- As Slade leaves and Jester is in the ring, Jester grabs a mic. Jester: You think you can walk away Jackson Slade..... But you are the first victim..... I want you soul, you want the belt..... We'll put both on the line..... You and I, in the ring, a Realm of Darkness match, winner gets the belt, loser gets banished..... I want an answer next month Slade...... It's your choice, Slade... Is the belt worth risking your soul?...... I guess we'll soon find out.... MYAH HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHA! AusDev is a guy I want to build but havn't found a program for him yet, he might get one down the road. Burke has injured 2 workers now in the first Four months (Wasp in show 1 and Sturt in the last show) so not pleased with that, giving Sturt the win seemed right though. I think Blake is far enough down the card for that to work. But the intrigue on his story line will develop. You know what I am changing my pick. Originally had Trey, but going with Blake. Until Trey breaks, he won't win. </p><p> </p><p> Bile & Eraser v <strong>Jackson Slade & Quick Silver</strong></p><p> </p><p> Same deal as Flashes match. These guys are your main faces, with Bile and Eraser being the lackeys to the main eventers. Sitting just below them in the pecking order, unless there are shenanigans they go over. </p><p> </p><p> Optional Question</p><p> Who is your favourite character in the diary so far?</p><p> </p><p> Favourite character so far.. </p><p> </p><p> Trey Tallman is beloved and has an interesting storyline building. Until he gets the character twist, he is simply a background character. I appreciate the slow burn though. </p><p> </p><p> Jackson Slade, just reminds me DC comics Slade, and Pookie Possum is always a top tier in a local Australia company. His character hasn't developed much other than being the lead baby-face with an axe to grind. I expect him to become more of a tweener as the faces get lumped with him. </p><p> </p><p> Flash, Quicksilver and Wasp haven't had enough time to truly build their characters, though Wasp was funny this episode. There storyline is really interesting with how they are all essentially grown? Born? Created? They remind me of DBZ androids which I think I mentioned. </p><p> </p><p> Lone Rider has been interesting. I love the approach, I normally play him as a plucky underdog trying to live up to his father, or an arrogant second generation superstar. The Undertaker theme is so cool, and the new pic helps. </p><p> </p><p> Vance Sturt, a guy I have no love for in the CVerse. A low budget DIW reject. He simply is a guy that I see with no potential, comes in as local talent to boost others in my company. Is a "Baker" with some outside ties possibly. I am totally invested in not only his baking, but his crew. Are they a group of bikers? Just some hired guns? Outlaws? Straight up muscle guys. I guess Slade vs. Jester will be the first YEPW Championship match in history... ? You're bang on James as you're right, its never been mentioned as the initial idea was to not have a belt. However, since then I've done a 180 and decided that there are reasons to have one that coincide with the story so I said I'd just throw it here. Bad booking I know but Slade has always thought he was the man in the company. Funnily enough since then, he has fallen an awful lot on the ladder in terms of worker with the highest pop, especially with Gregory Grace joining the company. APP are great young guys but they aren't winning on their debut level yet League of Tag Teams Match The Entourage (Blake Bushwell & Lothario) v Music Mash (No idea, going to go completely out there and say Crazy Train and Chuck Everlasting) Love The Entourage and don't want them to lose here League of Tag Teams Match D'n'B (D-Pod & Francis Burke) v Sturt & HoBoo (Vance Sturt & HoBoo) Burke may be a pain but they have been pushed pretty thoughtfully YEPW Australian No.1 Contenders match Australian Devil v Jackson Slade v Lone Rider Devil has been a complete wild card but he's been booked strongly and triple threat to me indicates a Lone Rider loss so he can lose without being pinned/submitted Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That would be an excellent choice. Good worker, potential star. Molokai Milk is unlikely givn his high profile. Jesse Tasman would be obvious if it's an all Surfer team. Theres a couple of guys who might work as the Forces part means Military Tyrant & Boot Camp Mikey. League of Tag Teams Match Dick & Morty (Mortimer Pyle & ???) v The Australian Party People (??? & ???) Kerr & Stoppard are the obvious signings here and I do hope they go over because Pyle does nothing for me. Dick could be anyone Lorenzo Oliverio or Christian Blithe could work as a ''Dick'' I suppose. Michel Bernard? Dazzler probably fits best. League of Tag Teams Match The Entourage (Blake Bushwell & Lothario) v Music Mash (??? & ???) The Miztourge oops sorry Entourage are jobber fodder. Music Mash hmmm Bryant Hall, Moonchild, Crazy Train (ugh), poaching ZEN's Suburban Legend would be great because he's potentially very good. Really don't know here but if it's Crazy Train I'll puke a little in my mouth because he's a useless sack of sick that will stink up YEPW with his sheer craptasticness. League of Tag Teams Match D'n'B (D-Pod & Francis Burke) v Sturt & HoBoo (Vance Sturt & HoBoo) Boo is good, Sturt is good - putting them over here makes sense if you want a good match next round. YEPW Australian No.1 Contenders match Australian Devil v Jackson Slade v Lone Rider - No Contest So Pookie might quit the fed if he jobs to Lone Rider & AD (his personality is probably not going to accept jobbing to those guys yet) but I can see a No Contest here thanks to Jester and his guys getting involved. It just makes no sense to take AD's and Lone Riders momentum away here. Set up the 3 guys here in a match against the heels next week and prolong the whole Jester feud by then having AD and LR get failed title shots that will actually help them before the Slade vs Jester rematch.
