Yeah, I pride myself on putting as much time and effort into my modifications as humanly possible because I figure the only way people can match something like Adam's C-Verse is by putting in the same amount of time and effort.
Just poking around the database a bit...always top notch stuff Mammoth. Am I missing Cody Rhodes or is he not included?

I think he debuted in OVW in June of 06 or thereabouts...

Also, for as stingy with SQ as you are (which is not a complaint may I add...if anything the mod is pretty balanced and consistent), why does Franky the Mobster of all people get a solid 81? He's the only guy in the starting dataset that isn't a known commodity to get that high of an SQ and it isn't even close.

He was perhaps slightly more charismatic than I give him credit for around this time. I'll give slightly better statistics in this department before the next update.

Looking at them, you're also correct on both Christoper Daniels and Jay Lethal. Daniels will be upped (I forget how long he'd already been around because he only really rose to prominence in TNA) and Lethal will be downed slightly to reflect his rookie status; I was a bit blinded by his run in ROH when I created him. xD

Thanks for your feedback, it's always nice to hear from those I respect most on the GDS board.

Even if someone in real life never made it to the very top but still had tremendous statistics at this point in time, I'll still try to convey that and Franky the Mobster was tearing up the Canadian independent circuit at this time. You're right that he's probably too high in terms of "Star Quality" and I may bring him down ever so slightly but I still maintain that he was a star in the making at this point in time.

Thanks for the feedback though and I hope to hear lots more from you. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Loving your work - some minor points

the WWE has nobody who can maintain their pop so perhaps a few guys need to be moved up to be at least draws because the fed didn't spiral into oblivion in real life.

I mentioned these people before who can probably be added if you do future updates

I'd suggest going through current real world mods like The Who and RWC and working out who should be active in 2006 or thereabouts. Not for everybody of course but for those people who are the right age bracket to become significant in your mod but aren't included now.

In Australasia - Robbie Eagles would be a future debut in March 08. Jessie McKay (Billie Kay) debuts June 07, KC Cassidy (Peyton Royce) Feb 09, Matt Silva (Buddy Murphy) in 2007. The Basso Brothers were active as of 2003. Kellie Skater debuts in March 2007.

Mike Kruel who was an important part of the WWE development areas around this time till his release in 2009 - he debuts in OVW in July 06. Milena Roucka had competed in the Diva Search in 2006 and signed a Dev contract and was his offsider. Oleg Prudius (Vladimir Koslov) had signed his Dev contract on 17th Jan 2006 again he ended up with Kruel's stable.

Anthony Carelli was with OVW between 2005 and 2007 when he was called up as Santino Marella - he ws using the moniker - Boris Alexiev (it was in 2005 that Cornette slapped him and lost his job).

Mark Copani (Muhammad Hassan) had been released in 2005 and there was still a real chance that somewhere like TNA would make him an offer at this point.

Shawn Spears (Tye Dillinger) signs his dev contract 21 Jan 2006. He had already appeared on RAW being Superkicked by HBK in an angle.

Cody Runnels debuts in OVW in June 2006.

Lindsay Kay Howard (Isis the Amazon) was active late 2006 - she's one of those missed opportunites by the WWE when they cut her from that womens NXT season.

There are some Japanese workers who should be active early in 2006 - Tetsuya Naito who had been training for a number of years and debuted for NJPW in May 2006 for instance.

Other people who debut around this time period or just before and are fairly significant and still are around today - Ophidian, Amasis (Desean Pratt), Fenix & Penta, Richochet, Tyler Breeze, Tenille Dashwood (Emma), Pete Dunne, Angel de Oro, Johnny Gargano, Marty Scrull, Nick Aldis (who debuted in 05), Seiya Sanada (07), WALTER, Zack Sabre Jr (who had already debuted), Alicia Fox, Chuck Taylor, Hayato Jr Fujita, Jessicka Havok, Michaeal Dante, MUSTAFA ALI, Niebla Roja, Swoggle, Xavier Woods was mentioned by someone else, Cat Power, Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder had both debuted, Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls had debuted, Timothy Thatcher, Tomasso Ciampa, Fuka, Ice Cream Jr & El Hijo del Ice Cream, Micheal Hutter EC3) signs with the WWE in 06, Heath Slater signs with the WWE in Dec 06 and had already debuted, Maryse Ouellet signs in 06, Ted Dibiase Jr debuts April 06, Jake Hagar (Swagger) signs with the WWE mid 06 and would already have been active, Johnny Curtis (Fndango) was active as of 99, PJ Black debuted in 2000, Ryan Tran was a wrestler before transitioning to beign a ref and was active at this time, Stu Bennett had debuted, Ray Leppan (Adam Rose) was active,

I just took a brief look at wXw. The roster looks pretty thin. I might help you with that, if you want my help?

Also, I knew HATE and some others back in the day, I might help with personalities and relationships.

Like I said, it was just a brief look but there might be room for improvement.

That being said: I'm soin love with the mod already!

This is what I said then and I still stand by it:

"I'm comfortable with where WWE and TNA sit, because TNA were probably at there peak at this time (really challenging WWE for the very first (and some might say only) time) and WWE had come down after the end of the Monday Night Wars. As you say, both could easily climb up another level so that hopefully stops any sort of problems, as does the brand split. Like all of my modifications, I like that sense of balancing on a fine rope leaving the player not exactly sure what's going to happen next."

Like in many modifications, World Wrestling Entertainment was the starting point so it was completed very early in development so I am due to revise it. Therefore, I'm not saying something won't change, but I'm still ultimately happy with it/how it simulates.

I mentioned these people before who can probably be added if you do future updates

I'd suggest going through current real world mods like The Who and RWC and working out who should be active in 2006 or thereabouts. I believe he was resigned a few days/weeks later. And I haven't added Muhammad Hassan because although there were rumours he was to appear elsewhere, he'd basically become so disenchanted with professional wrestling after his release from the 'E that he'd pretty much made up his mind to retire. I'm not going to rule him out of appearing in future because I'd personally like to see what could have been myself, but it's something I'm going to have to consider because as much as I love the "what if's" of my modifications, if he'd already made up his mind by the time Shifting Sands starts, I don't want to alter it too much."

All have been added to my "To Add" list.
After more than a brief look and checking the appearance of workers in November 2005, december 2005, January 2005 and March 2005 (they had no show in feburary) (i took that frame to see if they kept appearing), here some names and additions to wXw you might consider. (Of course it's totally up to you; that mod is great work either way)

- Chris Ramírez, who isn't in the data yet, I've seen him once or twice, but he appeared two times in the checked time frame. I couldn't find any additional informations on him (everything I'd have is guessing), but maybe you have more luck.

- Marc Roudin, appeared in december and march, so they've kept him.

Mammoth, I haven't had a look at WWE in the update, but I think you misunderstood Alpha's comment. He wasn't complaining about WWE's pop. He was complaining about the top guy's workers which can't match the fed's pop, thus the shows aren't good enough.

The only week I've run in this version had Raw do a 68 and SD! do a 73, though it had Triple H on it which is weird. So, that's a maintain-level performance by the AI. Not sure what Alpha was expecting, or he may have thought they were National like they are in every other mod in which case those grades are horrible.

My only quibble, outside of the already mentioned low-SQ (which is still their pop cap btw), is the massive amount of failed Figureheads. Either up their stats, so they qualify or don't have them as figureheads as that can screw things up long-term as those people tend to get really ticked off at the owner when they get demoted. The low SQ is likely the issue on some of them as you have to have a min. to make the AI happy about it.

I'll look into Chris Ramírez and 2 Face. I've added a working agreement between wXw and CZW, altered HATE's liftestyle and added the aforementioned relationships. I'll look into the potential contract additions but I won't guarantee them because I do like to stick to those who only appear in January, 2006. Thanks, and I hope to hear more suggestions. :)

A suggestion on the Muhammad Hassan situation is that you could put him as "On Hiatus" that way he could eventually come back on his own or he could be lured out by a bigger company. I feel that this would be a realistic way to handle it.

It's not a bad shout and as I've mentioned before, it's not something I've ruled out. We'll see. :p

Ah, I think you're right about misunderstanding alpha2117's post. That's my bad.

Looking into "Star Quality" as a whole is still on my agenda; I just had other things I wanted to do before it, thus why it hasn't been done for this update. As you say, hopefully it'll help a lot of the Figureheads remain in that position if I can fix it as a whole.

If that's your only quibble smartman, I must be doing something right. xD

I don't want to give you false hope. I've barely played the mod. Running a whopping 2 days of a TNA game (so no shows yet) and 10 days into a Sex Appeal women's fed like I loved in iDOL's mod in 13. Just in one of my unmotivated to really play TEW phases that I go through at times. This game is great but it has always had the one fatal flaw of you really need to be in the zone playing it daily. Otherwise, you stare at the ginormous mountain you need to climb (16's reduction of pop gains didn't help here) and go meh, I'll play another game instead.

I would say that the charisma on the women is quite low. If 50 is average (it's not but since a lot of people think it is, I'll roll with it for this example), there are a ton of people that are charisma vacuums (not Jake Strong-sized ones as his should be -100 in any RW mod).
