In a dimly lit warehouse sits a beaten down former boxing ring with the word “TITAN” spray painted across the center. Over the last few years, countless men have had their bodies broken down inside this ring with only a lucky few having the privilege of being rebuilt as Titans.

Inside the ring a small group of eager young men stand around a large man in a grey sweatsuit. Dread, “the father of Titans”, is teaching a class to his students.

“Listen up, because this is probably the most important block of instruction you’re going to get as a wrestling student. Protecting your fellow wrestlers in the ring is each and everyone of your responsibility! I will be damned if I sign off on an unsafe motherf***er to go out there and put someone else’s career in Jeopardy because they’re too lazy or f***in stupid to take care of their buddy!”

 

He was tired...he’d been tired all week but he had to get everything ready. He knew his guys would probably rather be out at the bar or home with family on New Year’s Eve, hell he wouldn’t mind having a few and watching the ball drop but Rise of the TITANS III was tomorrow night. This would be the first show broadcast on the web. A million things could go wrong. The feed could drop, the announcers could have no chemistry, his boys could underperform due to nerves...but this was a necessary step. He needed to get their names out there, it was crucial to their success. They couldn’t work at the Factory forever. They needed to get seen and move on. That was the point of this whole operation. All of this was wearing him down. Sure he could let someone else handle the training, Druss had been doing a great job assisting and with the book but tomorrow was important.

 

“Three of you will be debuting tomorrow night. Gold, Flesh, Fear. Minor roles, I wasn’t sure if I was going to use you this month, which is why it’s short notice. See Druss after class so he can go over what you’ll be doing tomorrow. Don’t embarrass me!”

“Yes coach!”

 

He used their ring names to encourage them to incorporate the character into themselves. Immerse themselves into their persona. A method he had learned in training many years ago and carried over to his own students.

As class ended, the mammoth legend walked to his truck. He’d have to force himself to sleep. Tomorrow, it was sink and swim time for the TITANS.

Jolt eventually catches Omega with a hard right that floors him and begins to build an offense. Following a missed corner splash, Omega takes control of the match. Jolt tries to rally a comeback but never quite manages to regain control. They seem easily matched at first before Power starts to over power Awad and he breaks contact. Awad then goes for the tie up and gets tossed back to his corner by Power. A stunned Awad tags in Kinjite as Power tags in Bob Jones. </p><p> Jones and Kinjite stand across the ring from each other. Kinjite assumes a traditional sumo stance before charging Jones. Kinjite sumo chops Jones into the ropes before eating a right hook from Jones followed by a series of punches pushing Kinjite back to his corner. Frustrated, Kinjite jams his thumb into the eye of Jones and then tags in Awad as the referee attempts to admonish him. </p><p> The match goes back and forth with Awad and Kinjite Isolating Jones from Power until a mistake allows Power to get the hot tag! Power clears the ring and starts a USA chant. As he stomps around the ring Kinjite slides back in with a steel chair and cracks it across Power’s back! The referee calls for the bell </p><p> Winners: The Patriot Act by Disqualification </p><p> Still Champions: The Anti-Americans</p><p> Rating: 40</p><p> </p><p> After the bell, Jones rushes the ring to attempt to help Power but eats a chair shot as well. Awad joins the fray with a chair of his own and the Anti Americans beat down the Patriot Act. They pose over their broken bodies as the crowd shows their extreme disapproval</p><p> Rating: 13</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> RLM: That was despicable! Even for them!</p><p> MW: They’re anti-America Rob, they don’t hold themselves to our superior moral standards! And I told ya we needed somebody better to represent American interests in this match! Now the whole world is laughing at us!</p><p> RLM: This wasn’t about country! This was about cowardice! The Patriot Act has the titles within their reach and the Anti-Americans couldn’t stand the thought of losing to a better team!</p><p> MW: Calm down Rob. Don’t go writing checks with your mouth that your ass can’t cash...</p><p> RLM: I’ll try to compose myself here as we prepare for our semi main event. I’m told that Justice Jolson has accepted Clarkson’s challenge to a street fight. </p><p> MW: Good for him! Dumb as all hell but good for him finally finding his pair! I’m gonna enjoy watching Clarkson knock him down a peg or two. </p><p> </p><p> *The St. Paul fight anthem plays throughout the Arena as “Killer” Carl Clarkson makes his way to the ring, wielding a hockey stick. He is followed shortly after by the sounds of an electric guitar shrieking as the American Warrior Justice Jolson come sprinting from the back to the ring! Jolson leaps into the ring and hits the ropes! Clarkson doesn’t wait for the bell and strikes Jolson in the back with his hockey stick!</p><p> </p><p> MW: I told you Clarkson was dangerous! He placed his gear in the back and sat down behind the wheel, taking a few moments to decompress. It wasn’t a far drive to his apartment but he needed a moment to get his head together. His time as a green beret had given him an ability to shut out pain and discomfort in the moment but now he could feel his body ache. He was proud to hold the title, to be THE guy. It showed how much faith his trainer had in him but he needed something more. He had been plugging away in the TITAN Factory for the past four years doing whatever he could to achieve that next level. He’d heard the rumors, read the online reports, SWF was interested, USPW was interested, even CGC up north was rumored to have an eye on him but if any of that was true he sure wished someone would let him know. The truth of the matter was he hadn’t had any contact from another company. Sure he’d done a show or two here and there for other companies but never anything consistent outside of what he was doing here for Dread. He appreciated the work and the training but he needed to move on. Loved the first show and the brief look from The Silencer’s perspective. You’ve got such an interesting company and some really interesting potential. I’m really enjoying what you are doing so far.

 

An awesome show with a cool narrative, it was a fun read, I can't wait to see the other debuts.

Clarkson, who has wrapped his stick in barbed wire stands across from Jolt, shaking is head. He nails Jolt hard with the stick bringing him down to the ground. Kinjite slips away and runs to the other side holding his hands up backing off Power. A few more false starts as Kinjite keeps refusing to lock up with Power. The two finally lock up again in the center of the ring as Awad leaps onto the side of the ring with the bag of salt. He goes to throw the salt at Power but power shifts around turning Kinjite directly into the path of the salt. Druss rushes Silencer as the referee clears out of the way and the two begin to trade hard lefts and rights. A competitive back and forth match up ensues. Neither man really giving up an advantage. Silencer hits a devastating missile drop kick on Druss and looks to have the match in the bag. As he sets up for the Drop Zone, Dread sends the monster FEAR into the ring. FEAR wraps his hands around the throat of Silencer and delivers a crushing choke bomb. The referee has no choice but to call for the bell </p><p> Winner: The Silencer by DQ</p><p> Rating: <strong>46</strong></p><p> </p><p> Dread stands in the ring laughing as FEAR and Druss continue to assault The downed champion. Suddenly a guitar screeches and Justice Jolson comes sprinting from the back!</p><p> <img alt="kp0N9Kl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kp0N9Kl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> The crowd is on their feet as Jolson slides into the ring and levels Druss with a clothes line. FEAR attempts to attack Jolson but Jolson battles him down with a series of rights and lefts and clothesline’s FEAR out of the ring. FEAR looks set to re-enter the ring but Dread calls him back. The Dread Army makes their way up the ramp as Jolson shakes the ropes and roars before turning to check on Silencer. </p><p> Rating: <strong>45</strong></p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> MW: Now why the heck did he come down here sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong?</p><p> RLM: He was evening the odds for his friend Miles!
