The entry specifically says that references to technology that doesn't exist has been removed for the sake of immersion. Everything I've posited is a natural extension of that statement, which Adam made himself. But fine, I'll drop it, since apparently people are getting annoyed by speculation in a thread that's specifically about speculating on the nature of game features as Adam announces them.

I usually play a heavily edited/customised version of either the DOTT or WOTI mods, and don't pay much attention to whatever date the game assigns...but I think most of those games start on Monday, Week 1, Current Year...I think if I wanted to use a different skin, I'd probably have to set it manually.

that's an issue with the data you're using. In the Editor under "Database Info" you can set the "Game Start Date" Month/Year (so you'd start Monday, Week 1, of the set Month/Year). Every historical mod I've played from here have been set to the proper date.

This entry is saying that if you started a game in, say, 1983, instead of displaying the typical "Modern Website" appearance on the front page, it'd display a funky Apter "Magazine" style appearance. A game started in a mod set in 2001 would display a "Early Internet Website" appearance.

Title Idea

I'ld like to see an option for a new tag rule. Either two or three workers to a team. The difference would be that when someone beats the team, he/she joins the team they beat. For example: workers A and B are the champs. They are challenged by Workers C and D. Worker C pins worker A. Instead of C and D holding the titles, the new champs are Workers C and B. worker B remains part of the champion team as he/she wasn't the one defeated. Perhaps this could be called a tornado title.

That and the ability to be able to future book fighters while they are still on rest (instead of not being able to book them, even it's for a year from now event, just because they have 12 more days to rest) would be a welcomed patch.

I also hope we're able to restructure contracts. Too many times I've taken over a company where a worker has a straight-up ridiculous contract and I can't change it unless I go into the editor. There's also times you sign a worker thinking they're going to be huge but just don't turn out worth anything. You should be able to request to re-negotiate their contract. It happens all the time. Workers are able to just up and walk out or request their release, why can't we request to change a contract?

I also hope that you are able to mention workers who are on vacation. As it stands right now, if they're on vacation, you can't have them in an off-screen angle. This doesn't help if you're trying to kayfabe an injury as part of a storyline so rather than taking a morale hit for not being on shows, you give a guy some vacation time. Announcers can't even mention the worker. I think you should be able to involve them but really limit how they're perceived, whether that's strictly by overness or some other method.

You actually can do that already... there is a little square next to an ange participant which is gold by default (I think?) and can be toggled... that should give you full access to everyone on your roster, though you may have to change the worker to be off-screen in the angle and you may also have to give them a push to anything other than "no assigned push".

It's awkward and clunky, but it can be done. :)

It's not about getting people over, it's about properly simulating these things, which does not happen right now in any acceptable way. At all. If I wanna do a tribute to Eddie Guerrero, (example) I can't really do it in any way other than pretending that he was mentioned by someone. Preferably someone over so that I can try and replicate his pop. It's almost outrageous, to be honest. The workers are still in the database after dying, so why not getting a non exploitable system to use them for such purposes after being deceased?

As for today's entry, it seems it's gonna be a week long deal for broadcasters, so let's see what comes out of it. Was hoping for broadcasters having the ability to grow as an announcement on the first entry about broadcasters, but let's wait and see.

Coverage limits being equal numerically might be interesting if said limits are done well. Meaning that to differentiate companies one only needs to adjust the size of said coverage instead of having to worry also with type. Seems this could facilitate mod making and understanding of the system, now that we can have access to the actual number of viewers that it equates to.
