Hey now! I'm excited, man. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I must admit. The next TEW was going to be the first in the series where I was ready to state that if it's simply written on top of the previous one, and doesn't include some major changes and improvements - especially to UI - I wouldn't be sure if I was going to be buying.

Happy to read that this an ambitious project. And I don't mean that negatively - it's just that TEW 2016 has been serving me quite well, and the things I'm not happy with would probably require a brand new approach to things.

I remember reading a post from Adam where he stated that in the next TEW, he was looking to completely rework the way popularity works, and that has me excited. I do think "popularity" as it stands in TEW 2016 doesn't quite reflect the wrestling business.

I've fallen off the wagon as a wrestling fan since the release of the last game, but I always check out these forums daily in hopes for an announcement of the next TEW game. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Super hyped to hear this! Very excited to hear about the new engine, the old modmaking brain has suddenly whirred back into life now too which can only be dangerous! <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Speaking of mod making, question for Adam:

A year or so ago, I spilled coffee on my previous laptop and lost a bunch of my mod stuff for TEW 2016, and that effectively killed my motivation to do anything TEW related for the longest time. I recently got the itch to redo some of the mod work I had, but to get everything the way it was, it's going to take a long time, the better part of a year.

Does the new engine mean it's going to be pointless for me to do mod stuff for 2016 since it won't be functional with 2020? Or can either all or some of the stuff be converted from 2016 to 2020? I understand if this information you do not wish to reveal at this time, though.

I was actually browsing the other day, and thought about suggesting something, but wasn't quite sure if another TEW would be coming anytime soon. So this is a very nice surprise.

One feature I'd like to see implemented would be an "episodic" feature. Maybe call it something else, I dunno. Anyways, lets say I run a four hour show on a Sunday. If I am running an episodic TV show that lasts half an hour, I can select segments/matches from that taping to air each episode. Something similar to how Lucha Underground operates, as well as DOJOPRO and even how NXT, ROH, and Impact tape.

That is awesome. Thank you, Adam. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

To MattyyOh: You seem to be new here, so don't take this as rude, but the way things work here is that all suggestions should be posted to: http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=244

Adam goes through every single thread in that sub-forum when considering features for a new TEW. If things are suggested at random in random places, they get lost in the shuffle. So, always use the Suggestions forum when brainstorming. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Will your journal include periodic updates on the detail that will need changed after a 2016 Mod has been converted to 2020? Additional fields and any that have been split out for example or even new options within a field's range of options.

Great news. So glad to hear the news and that it might come out sooner. Look forward to play it, look forward for the changes and I am very excited for the leap in quality that we have all been expecting. Cheers, Adam. I hope this doesn't mean it's the last one, because with all this work into it there is potential for even more greatness. Looking forward for the release. Take my money. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />:D:D

I'm super stoked about this, always been a fan going back to EWD, and after reading the massive undertaking you've done t make this the biggest and best TEW I am even more excited. Thank you Adam fr making a series of games that I've been able to enjoy for almost 20 years and have been a constant thing in my life during some very unconstant moments.
