The show starts with Rockin' Ryan Turner playing a soft country-style tune on his guitar. As he adds in the singing, the whole thing turns into a musical promo on his challenger for the Piledriver Championship tonight, "Cowboy" Buck Winchester.</p><p>

Riley McManus is in the office of Lee Wright with his latest medical papers in hand. The head trainer of Piledriver Wrestling School checks out the paperwork, then gets on the phone to confirm that Riley McManus versus Annihilus will in fact be taking place next month, only for Sheik Ali Al-Avatar to burst through the door while shouting SPLENDID! Annihlus isn't far behind and as soon as he enters, he stares down McManus in a preview of their upcoming clash, before the Sheik pulls him away saying he needs to prepare for his match tonight, a match that will show McManus and the fans what they can expect.</p><p>

"The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera & "Glorious" Logan Wolfsbaine vs Cip Conduit & "The Monster" Annihilus (with Sheik Ali Al-Avatar)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Annihilus starts the match for his team and despite being a dominant force, he can't really hold either of his opponents down, who use quick tags and their own considerable athleticism to keep the big man on edge. Sheik Ali Al-Avatar at ringside tries to guide his client around the situation, but his screams only annoy fans, so when Wolfsbaine takes him out with a suicide dive he gets a massive pop for it. This leaves Ferrera alone in the ring, but lucky for him, an eager Cip Conduit blind-tags himself in and unloads on the former champion. Meanwhile, the Sheik hasn't forgotten his days as a wrestler and backstabs Wolfsbaine with a kendo stick shot to the mid section while the referee is busy trying to get an angry Annihilus out of the ring. Things further fall apart when the situation turns into an argument between the heel teammates that quickly gets physical, while Ferrera is busy helping his partner against the Sheik. Annihilus ends up press slamming Conduit and tosses him out at ringside on everyone else, then leaves the ring to pull the Sheik's body out of the wreckage and drag him backstage as the referee calls for the bell to throw the match.</p><p>

Up on the rafters in his long trenchcoat and looking down on the scene of the crime is none other than TITAN Factory superstar "The Avenging Angel" Druss!</p><p>

Backstage, "Cowboy" Buck Winchester cuts a promo on Rockin' Ryan Turner, who he's scheduled to face tonight for the Piledriver Championship. Winchester is a man of few words and his Texas drawl isn't helping much, but still makes for an entertaining promo nonetheless.</p><p>

"Red Hot" Laura Flame & Olivia "Rough" Diamond vs "No Gimmick Needed" Tamara McFly & "Ice Cold" Claire Winters (with "Playboy" Jake Sawyer)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

The heels are announced as representing 'Sawyer Sports Services' which seems to be the name their manager will be using for the team, or stable, if business is booming. Flame and McFly start the match, with the latter showing great chain wrestling skills as she counters moves and laces her own attacks into spectacular combinations. Taken by storm, Flame tags her teammate in and in response, Winters requests the tag and gets it. Despite her apparent passion, Diamond falls victim to her own inexperience and ends up isolated on her opponents' corner. Taking turns, McFly and Winters put the boots to her, with Sawyer sneaking in a shot whenever he can get away with it. With a bit of fan support, Diamond gets a second wind and barely escapes for the hot tag to Flame. The Piledriver Womens champion takes out Sawyer with a baseball slide, sweeps the legs of Winters at the apron but as she turns to deliver the Flame Fire Kick, she gets caught in the McFly Roll!</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: "No Gimmick Needed" Tamara McFly & "Ice Cold" Claire Winters, by pinfall</strong></p><p>

After the match, the heels bounce back to attack both the surprised Flame as well as her partner, until fellow redhead and former QAW star Pamela Rojo runs down to the ring for the save! Protecting his assets from unnecessary damage, Sawyer rallies his troops and they retreat backstage as the three babyfaces celebrate in the ring as if they'd actually won the match.</p><p>

Piledriver Championship match</strong></p><p><strong>

Rockin' Ryan Turner © vs "Cowboy" Buck Winchester</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

The match begins as a straightforward brawl, but after its explosive start things slow down a bit into rest holds and the occasional power move. Turner gets a few chances to show he can really wrestle, but whether because he wants to showboat or toy with his opponent, he doesn't ever cover him for the pin. Winchester on the other hand is all business, no nonesense, but he still has his work cut out for him trying to hurt a man who has survived the rockstar lifestyle for so long. This resilience slowly tips the scale in Turner's favor as Winchester looks to be running out of gas, but just to be safe, Turner "accidentally" shoves the ref aside so he can smash his opponent in the face with a copy of Bad Idea's latest CD which he brought with him to the ring during his entrance when Alvin Lavin isn't looking.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Rockin' Ryan Turner, by pinfall after using a foreign object.</strong></p><p><strong>

<p><em>"Screw this!"</em></p><p> </p><p> Buck Winchester was never a man of many words so of course neither was his wrestling persona, but the few he'd spit out really hit home. He'd made his way backstage first after the final bell, leaving Turner to take in the boos as the show wrapped up. He was bruised and he was spent. Barely bothering to hold the icepack in place above his eyebrow where Turner hit him with the CD case, he shoved bodies aside as he made his way to the showers.</p><p> </p><p> Buck had been one of my first signings. He'd almost made it as my chief ultra-American rival, before I trusted that role to the more experienced McManus. Buck understood he was the rookie and kept his head down, working hard show after show. I never expected him to get so over with the fans, at least not so soon, but I guess being the one to send off a bunch of other workers made him look pretty bad ass. The ability to have great matches with pretty much everyone probably had something to do with it too. None of it mattered tonight though. Blame was on me. I had put him out there to wrestle for twenty plus minutes and it got him exposed. He ran out of gas and the gimmick ran out of steam. I had to keep it in mind for future bookings, but for now, I had to give him a pep talk. Which sounds easy, until you remember it's gotta be done in the good ol' psycho sheik manner.</p><p> </p><p> It was one of those days at work, I guess...</p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46150" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Piledriver Wrestling Presents</strong></p><p><strong> Thanksbeating 2016</strong></p><p> Saturday, Week 4 November, 2016</p><p> Live from the Rainbow Bar & Grill, FL</p><p> Free shrimp to anyone attending!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Main Event</strong></p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Piledriver Womens title match</span></p><p> "Red Hot" Laura Flame © vs "No Gimmick Needed" Tamara McFly</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Co-Main Event</strong></p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Grudge match</span></p><p> Riley McManus vs "The Monster" Annihilus</p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;">Sheik Ali Al-Avatar banned from ringside</span></p><p> </p><p> <strong>#1 Contender Three Way Elimination match</strong></p><p> Austin "Easy Money" Smooth vs Cip Conduit vs "Glorious" Logan Wolfsbaine</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Womens Tag Team match</strong></p><p> Pamela Rojo & Olivia "Rough" Diamond vs "Ice Cold" Claire Winters & "AAA's own" Selina Svelte</p><p> </p><p> <strong>In-ring debuts opening match</strong></p><p> "The Avenging Angel" Druss vs Piledriver School of Wrestling's latest graduate</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote>

Piledriver Womens title match</p><p>

<strong>"Red Hot" Laura Flame ©</strong> vs "No Gimmick Needed" Tamara McFly</p><p>

<em>I'm loving what Laura is doing for you. When I first started playing TEW, Hell Monkey was one of my first favorite characters and his female protege strikes that same chord.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Co-Main Event</p><p>

Grudge match</p><p>

<strong>Riley McManus </strong>vs "The Monster" Annihilus</p><p>

Sheik Ali Al-Avatar banned from ringside</p><p>

<em>I think this is where Riley gets the pin -- I'm thinking a flash pinfall as to be a caught off surprise kind of win.</em></p><p> </p><p>

#1 Contender Three Way Elimination match</p><p>

Austin "Easy Money" Smooth vs Cip Conduit vs <em>"Glorious" Logan Wolfsbaine</em></p><p>

I never vote against Logan Diaz, err, Wolfsbaine.</p><p> </p><p>

Womens Tag Team match</p><p>

Pamela Rojo & Olivia "Rough" Diamond vs "<strong>Ice Cold" Claire Winters & "AAA's own" Selina Svelte</strong></p><p>

<strong>"The Avenging Angel" Druss </strong>vs Piledriver School of Wrestling's latest graduate</p><p>

Druss should get the win here, but make the rookie look good. Plus with the new partnership with Dread's TITAN Factory you're gonna give one of his top guys some shine.</p>

Saturday, Week 4 November, 2016</p><p>

Main Event</p><p>

Piledriver Womens title match</p><p>

"Red Hot" Laura Flame © vs "<strong>No Gimmick Needed" Tamara McFly</strong></p><p>

<strong>Tammy’s near the end of her career normally so I’m going out on a limb and say she gets a short run with the title here thanks to assistance from her manager</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Co-Main Event</p><p>

Grudge match</p><p>

<strong>Riley McManus by DQ</strong> vs "The Monster" Annihilus</p><p>

Sheik Ali Al-Avatar banned from ringside</p><p>

<strong>Does Riley rise up and get the monster here? Yes but I’ll guess it is by DQ. Also could see a double CO to set up a final match. Either way I think there will be 1 more match</strong></p><p> </p><p>

#1 Contender Three Way Elimination match</p><p>

<strong>Austin "Easy Money" Smooth</strong> vs Cip Conduit vs "Glorious" Logan Wolfsbaine</p><p>

<strong>Hmmm kind of an interesting matchup with these guys. I like Wolfsbaine, but he doesn’t usually break out in the first year. With that the case my gut tells me Conduit, but I prefer Easy Money Austin Smooth</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Womens Tag Team match</p><p>

<strong>Pamela Rojo & Olivia "Rough" Diamond</strong> vs "Ice Cold" Claire Winters & "AAA's own" Selina Svelte</p><p>

<strong>Normally it seems if Olivia is in a match that side is losing, but I think because of the main event Rojo gets the win</strong></p><p> </p><p>

In-ring debuts opening match</p><p>

"<strong>The Avenging Angel" Druss</strong> vs Piledriver School of Wrestling's latest graduate</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>I’ll go with the Dread wrestler in this one</strong></p>

"The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera bursts into the office of Lee Wright, demanding to know why he's not in the #1 contender match tonight. Wright calmly tell him he only recently lost the title and other wrestlers will be given a chance before him, which causes an angry Ferrera to storm out.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><img alt="IqChfad.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IqChfad.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

"The Avenging Angel" Druss vs Jules Knight</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Druss makes a spectacular entrance (<em>a la</em> Undertaker) that smartly hides the fact he's not popular enough with the local fans to get a proper babyface reaction, while Piledriver Wrestling School's latest graduate Jules Knight comes out in a policeman outfit. As the announcing duo points out, Knight was dishonorably discharged from the force and made the jump to pro wrestling. The match serves to introduce both men's style to the audience, from the big man maneuvers of Druss to the solid technical foundation of Knight, until the Avenging Angel manages to score the tap out once he catches his opponent in an Anaconda Vice.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Druss, by submission</strong></p><p><strong>

Pamela Rojo & Olivia "Rough" Diamond vs "Ice Cold" Claire Winters & "AAA's own" Selina Svelte (with "Playboy" Jake Sawyer)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Rojo's hard-hitting style of brawling and suplexes makes for a pretty physical start against the MMA-inspired approach of Winters. After the initial exchange, Svelte comes in to slow things down a bit with some shoot style submission wrestling, though she keeps the pace fast as she frantically spins around looking for a limb to stretch. Rojo eventually turns a sleeper hold into a modified samoan drop for the breather and finally manages to tag in her partner. Diamond comes in all fired up and assaults Svelte, who retreats to her corner. Winters blind-tags herself in to turn the tide but Rojo tags herself in too, blocks a kick and scoops her up for the Running Powerbomb finish while Diamond dives off the apron onto Sawyer and Svelte.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winners: Pamela Rojo & Olivia "Rough" Diamond, by pinfall</strong></p><p><strong>

#1 Contender Three Way Elimination match</strong></p><p><strong>

Austin "Easy Money" Smooth vs Cip Conduit vs "Glorious" Logan Wolfsbaine</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Up against a rowdy brawler and a big powerhouse, Smooth's technical style doesn't exactly pay dividends and he's the first one to eventually find himself recovering outside the ring. This gives the other two competitors enough space to lock horns and trade blows. Wolfsbaine is clearly the better wrestler but the rutheless Conduit manages a dastardly thrust kick between his opponents' legs while the referee was distracted by a recovering Smooth climbing onto the apron. With Wolfsbaine eliminated like that, Conduit turns to Smooth but gets caught into a series of submission holds. Despite the slick transitions, Conduit barely manages to roll through a Smooth Hold set up attempt but the plan backfires when Smooth reverses the small package for the win.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Austin "Easy Money" Smooth, by pinfall</strong></p><p>

As soon as the match is over, Rockin' Ryan Turner comes out with a mic in hand to "congratulate" the winner and cut a promo on his new title challenger.</p><p>

Riley McManus vs "The Monster" Annihilus</strong></p><p><strong>

Sheik Ali Al-Avatar banned from ringside</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

By this point, McManus knows better than to try and outwrestle his opponent so he takes a defensive approach, ducking and dodging the super heavyweight's blows. His tactics seem to pay off as Annihilus looks more and more frustrated, especially without the Sheik at ringside to hold his reins. This all builds up to a frustrated charge towards McManus standing on the apron, only for the Georgia native to pull down the ropes and use the bounce for his Slingshot Suplex on the monster! A spectacular spot this may be, but the problem is he hits it off the apron to the outside and there's no chance he can drag Annihilus back to the ring. The Finnish monster doesn't look to be getting back on his feet anytime soon either, so McManus eventually decides to settle for a countout victory.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Riley McManus, by countout</strong></p><p>

<img alt="M4SOg7D.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/M4SOg7D.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Sheik Ali Al-Avatar runs down to the ring carrying an Iranian flag and swings the pole at McManus, but the winner of the match grabs it before impact, leading to a tug of war. This brings out "Cowboy" Buck Winchester who pulls the Sheik away, tosses him outside onto Annihilus and snaps the flag on his hip to a thunderous applause!</p><p>

"Red Hot" Laura Flame © vs "No Gimmick Needed" Tamara McFly (with "Playboy" Jake Sawyer)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Flame starts the match on the offensive, but McFly's chain wrestling prowess allows her to reverse and get control of the match. Stubbornly refusing to submit, Flame has a second go with a flurry of kicks until Sawyer gets in her face for the distraction. McFly is once again gaining ground and eventually nails the McFly Roll that leads her to victory.</p><p>

<p>As soon as I signed the final contract, I let my head drop onto the pile of paperwork and found myself giggling. We hadn't even managed to draw a three digit crowd yet, but here I was signing worker contracts. Perks of sticking to the gimmick 24/7, I had insisted all contracts were drafted and signed formally as if this was USPW. Wonder if my scribble of a signature and stage name were legally binding at all or whether everyone was just playing along. Whatever the case, they stuck around. Thanksbeating had been another successful show, despite sinking us further into the financial gutter so bad that Lee offered to work for free. We were still afloat. Contracts had actually come up for extension and no one turned down the offer. Violent Night would mark our first full year in the business. We were running on sheer goodwill and stubborness but hey, isn't pro wrestling one big hustle after all?</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46150" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Piledriver Wrestling Presents</strong></p><p><strong> Thanksbeating 2016</strong></p><p> Saturday, Week 4 November, 2016</p><p> Live from the Rainbow Bar & Grill, FL</p><p> Free shrimp to anyone attending!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Main Event</strong></p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Piledriver title match</span></p><p> Rockin' Ryan Turner © vs Austin "Easy Money" Smooth</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Co-main Event</strong></p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Last Man Standing match</span></p><p> "The Monster" Annihilus vs Riley McManus</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Payback match</strong></p><p> "The Avenging Angel" Druss vs Cip Conduit</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Special Singles match</strong></p><p> "Glorious" Logan Wolfsbaine vs Jules Night</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Opener</strong></p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Six Women Tag Team match</span></p><p> Sawyer Sports Services (McFly, Svelte & Winters) vs Seeing Red (Rojo, Flame & Diamond)</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote>

I really like Austin Smooth, but I think Turner needs to keep the title.

He needs the win to keep his aura up, plus Riley can easily be kept strong with interference to help Annihilus win.

Druss - he is awesome and recently debuted he needs the win

Six Women Tag Team match

Sawyer Sports Services (McFly, Svelte & Winters) vs Seeing Red (Rojo, Flame & Diamond)

I'm thinking Sawyer gets involved somehow to help his girls win. I could see Seeing Red win to give them some momentum back though

Seeing Red vs Sawyer Sports Services</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

The two team captains start the match and after the opening trade of blows, McFly spikes Rojo with a nasty DDT, looking for a quick win. It's a two count only, but Rojo is reeling from the effect and quickly tags in Flame. The former womens champion unloads on McFly, forcing her to tag in an eager Winters, who adds a splash of MMA facing off against Flame. Svelte tags herself in and immediately starts working the leg of Flame, looking to deprive her of her arsenal of kicks. Things slow down and the two fight it out on the mat, until a rope break allows Diamond to get the hot tag. Svelte gets whipped to the ropes for a series of bulldogs, dropkicks and lariats, but in one of the whips, Winters blind tags herself in as Sawyer distracts the referee with his complaining. Diamond is thrown off focus and Winters has time to set up her Flying Knee finisher, catching "Rough" Diamond square in the jaw for the pin.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winners: Sawyer Sports Services, by pinfall after "Playboy" Jake Sawyer interfered</strong></p><p>

"Glorious" Logan Wolfsbaine cuts a promo on Jules Knight, saying Knight's had one hell of a training at the Piledriver School of Wrestling, but that won't be good enough to bring him victory against him tonight.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="ozLd3Bm.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ozLd3Bm.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Glorious" Logan Wolfsbaine vs Jules Night</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Night is out to contain his opponent with an array of submission holds, including a very policeman-like one that sees him control Wolfsbaine's wrists behind his back on the floor as if about to handcuff him, though Knight goes full into police brutality mode, stomping on the back of Logan's head instead. That's pretty much the highlight of his offence, as Wolfsbaine soon makes his comeback, using his size and power advantage to control Knight around until he puts him in a Boston Crab for the tap out win.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: "Glorious" Logan Wolfsbaine, by submission</strong></p><p><strong>

"The Avenging Angel" Druss vs Cip Conduit</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Druss is out to punish young Conduit for his numerous attacks on wrestlers before or after matches and he does so by beating him all around the ring. Years of wild brawls have gifted Conduit with surprising resilience though, both physical and mental, which allows him to stay in the match much more than Druss expected. The TITAN Factory big man seems to get frustrated the more things drag on and eventually Conduit takes advantage of it, ducking out of the way and letting the ref get hit; while he's out, Conduit shoots for the ring apron and recovers a kendo stick, with which he destroys Druss, tossing it away to make the cover once referee Alvin Lavin comes to.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Cip Conduit, by pinfall after using a foreign object</strong></p><p>

<img alt="ozLd3Bm.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ozLd3Bm.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="3gQC2Ib.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3gQC2Ib.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Once the match is over, Conduit retrieves the kendo stick and continues the shots on the fallen Druss, until Ferrera hits the ring and forces him to a retreat. Medical staff rush in to check on Druss and stretcher him out, while Ferrera cuts a promo to challenge Conduit to a match next month.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><img alt="ozLd3Bm.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ozLd3Bm.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

Last Man Standing match</strong></p><p><strong>

Riley McManus vs "The Monster" Annihilus (with Sheik Ali Al-Avatar)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Another match in the storied rivalry between McManus and his two enemies tonight, this one is contested under Last Man Standing rules in order to prevent a DQ or countout finish like last month. This of course means McManus comes into it as the underdog, not only due to the sheer destructive capacity of Annihilus but also because the Sheik returns on his corner, ready and willing to take full advantage of the match's no DQ stipulation. Defensive tactics this time won't win the match for the Georgia native, so he relies on the solid technical skills that brought him to the dance in the first place, trying to lure Annihilus into wrestling a straightforward match. It doesn't work out well and under the Sheik's guidance, Annihilus wreaks havoc, throwing McManus around like a rag doll. As expected, the Sheik gets involved down the road, using his headdress to choke out McManus, until...</p><p>

...the Texan Patriot Buck Winchester shows up again to take out the Sheik and allow McManus to hit a modified version of his Slingshot Suplex finisher off the apron. Annihilus is driven to the ringside floor and laid out for the ten count, meaning McManus has at last conquered the beast!</p><p>

Despite Turner's mocking, Smooth keeps a cool head and seems focused on the match, grappling his more experienced opponent into a tight spot. The big seven footer let the bar drop on the ground with a bang as he finished up his final set of deadlifts. It was good to be working out in his home garage once again. This was his first time back in Finland since he left in 2014 to train under Lee Wright at the Piledriver Wrestling School and he'd still spent most of this holiday season pumping iron instead of reconnecting with family.

Reality had hit him hard. A lifelong wrestling fan, he thought his size alone would soon have USPW or SWF calling, but they never did. He was no Primus Allen. He needed to learn how to work the mic and work in the ring. When the Sheik kicstarted the promotional part of the company, Annihilus knew this was his chance to show what he can do. This would be his launching pad.

He had gone on a tear for most of 2016 until eventually losing to Riley McManus in the final show of the year. Their feud was probably the hottest thing going in the company. After months of planning out promos and putting matches together, their working relationship soon grew to mutual respect and proper friendship. Riley would carry him throughout the matches and sell like his life depended on it, making Annihilus look like an absolute beast, then they'd go out to grab dinner together after the show. The big super heavyweight was confident 2017 would be even better. He and Riley had their contracts extended and he had a bunch of great potential opponents to feud with, from Buck and Xavi to Logan. He would learn and improve and grow and build up his name value. The promotion was flirting with bankruptcy, so he had to make it big and do so fast.

Riley McManus comes out to cut a promo, saying he too wants a shot at the Piledriver title now that he's all done with Annihilus and Sheik Ali Al-Avatar. This brings out Rockin' Ryan Turner who tells him to get in line but before things can get physical, Lee Wright interrupts to say that McManus has yet to prove himself as of late against anyone besides Annihilus. McManus says he's ready to face anyone, but turns out he's not able to notice a masked figure that runs up behind him and attacks him from behind. That figure is none other than...</p><p>

<strong>"The Texan Patriot" Buck Winchester vs Jules Knight</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

The announcing duo hypes this up as 'Texas Ranger versus Corrupt Cop' and the in-ring action tries to tell that story between Winchester's southern style brawling and Knight's more cerebral submission style. Momentum shifts back and forth in a pretty competitive match between two men pretty green in the wrestling business, but with Knight only fresh out of wrestling school, it's only a matter of time until he gets hit with the Neckbreaker for the pin.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: "The Texan Patriot" Buck Winchester, by pinfall</strong></p><p>

<img alt="M4SOg7D.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/M4SOg7D.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Winchester is making his way backstage when out of the curtain comes the super heavyweight Annihilus! Both men have no illusions about this ever not coming to blows so Buck tries to attack first and have the element of surprise, but tired, beaten and vastly outpowered, he quickly falls to the Monster who beats him down to a pulp.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="87E3trK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/87E3trK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Glorious" Logan Wolfsbaine vs Gorgeous Gold</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Despite his nickname, Wolfsbaine is no match for the TITAN Factory import when it comes to sheer arrogance, from his entrance and ring attire to his attitude in the ring. Gimmickry aside, the match itself is an exciting clash between two heavyweights who can go in the ring and sort of an informal friendly rivalry between Piledriver and Dread's school. It is questionable though whether Dread would approve of the Australian swimsuit model's methods, as Gorgeous Gold ends up winning the match after hitting a Bronco Buster on a cornered Wolfsbaine. The move is supposed to hurt the recipient's pride and decency more than their body, but somehow it seems to have a devastating effect on Wolfsbaine who is laid out for the pin.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Gorgeous Gold, by pinfall after using a foreign object</strong></p><p>

<img alt="87E3trK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/87E3trK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

After the match, Wolfsbaine seems to be knocked out cold, so medical staff rushes to his aid. After leaving the ring and just before he crosses the curtain to return backstage, Gorgeous Gold grabs a microphone and proceeds to taunt his stunned opponent, boasting about how he outsmarted him. Gold then cheekily pulls down his speedo to reveal he's been wearing a metallic codpiece underneath it throughout the match!</p><p>

<strong>Cip Conduit vs "The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Piledriver School's resident wild brawler goes toe to toe with Guide's illustrious protege and a former Piledriver champion in a match that's all about which of the two will be able to force his opponent to wrestle the kind of match that suits him. Ferrera is off to an explosive start making the best of his athletic skill, but Conduit eventually puts the breaks by reversing a crossbody into a bodyslam. With his opponent down, Conduit proceeds to deliver a beatdown, only to get carried away and allow Ferrera to roll him in a schoolboy for a surprise pin.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: "The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera, by pinfall with a roll up</strong></p><p>

"Playboy" Jake Sawyer leads the Piledriver Womens champion to the ring for the main event, but instead of her scheduled opponent, it's Pamela Rojo that comes out of the curtain. Rojo cuts a promo, promising to take that title off McFly and get revenge for the neck injury she caused her at Violent Night. Sawyer responds by saying she's not even contender material to make such demands, to which Rojo says she promises to trample through all members of Sawyer Sports Services until she can get to McFly.</p><p>

Piledriver Womens title re-match</strong></p><p><strong>

"Red Hot" Laura Flame vs "No Gimmick Needed" Tamara McFly © (with "Playboy" Jake Sawyer)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Flame opens the match in shocking manner by immediately going for the Flame Fire Kick... on Sawyer! The sports manager is knocked out unconscious and it turns out to be a smart move on Flame's part, as it allows her to wrestle McFly undistracted. The situation allows Flame to shine, but McFly is a constant danger thanks to her chain wrestling skills; showing great defensive capabilities, the defending champion keeps luring her opponent in again and again, only to reverse her moves and regain control of the match so she can lace together a sequence of moves. Things slowly escalate as both competitors hit bigger and bigger moves, leading to a situation where Flame climbs the top rope to hit a double foot stomp on McFly when out of nowhere, a recovered Sawyer shakes the ropes to throw her off balance! Springing back to life, McFly (who apparently had been playing possum) pounces on her opponent with the McFly roll and after the 1-2-3 wins the match.</p><p>
