"Alright folks, wrap it up! Enjoy yourselves tonight, have a Happy New Year and remember to be safe!"

New York and PGHW's legendary tag team specialist Lee Wright is finishing teaching another class at the Piledriver School of Wrestling, when the sound of a door being kicked in, if not torn down, catches his attention.

lh2JDXB.jpg

"AMERICA!

I HAVE COME HERE TO SLAY INFIDELS AND INVEST PETRODOLLARS!

AND I'M ALL OUT OF INFIDELS!"

A screaming man in a Middle Eastern headdress bursts into the room, carrying a slick black briefcase. Wright and everyone else who hadn't left before this man's appearance are still dumbfounded.

"MISTER WRIGHT! YOUR INFIDEL SAINT OF NICOLAUS IS NO LONGER REQUIRED! I HAVE COME TO BE YOUR BOOKER!"

Still confused, Wright finally speaks up.

"I don't know who you are, but this is my school..."

"OLDEST SCHOOL IN AMERICA! 1986! SCHOOL OF JACK BRUCE! SKULL OF THE BONES! KRRRRRUSHER KARLOFF!"

Still confused, Wright is struggling to control this raving madman.

"Look, I'm flattered you know of us and our history..."

"COME LEARN FROM LEGEND PISTOL PETE HALL! THEN LARRY VESSEY! NOW LEE WRIGHT!"

"Would you keep your damn voice down? Now what do you want?"

"I SAID BEFORE, I COME TO BE YOUR BOOKER!"

"What booker? I run a school here, not a promotion."

"BUT YOU SHOULD! ALL MODERN SCHOOLS NOW RUN PROMOTIONS! LATEST TREND! DREAD MAKE PROMOTION FOR TITAN FACTORY! RING OF FIRE MAKE BURNING SPIRIT IN ENGLAND! NOW PILEDRIVER SCHOOL MAKE PILEDRIVER PROMOTION!"

The shady Sheik pops the briefcase open to reveal stacks of dollars.

"I BRING WITH ME FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS TO GET US STARTED!"

At the sight of all the cash, Wright does raise an eyebrow.

"You know what? It's your money, man. Think you can run a promotion? I'll let you have your fun for a couple o' shows until this all's dried up. At least it might get my students some exposure. Deal."

The two men shake hands and thus...

OUphkmR.jpg

Piledriver Wrestling is created!

So I just had to do this, after King Bison put out his TITAN Factory mod diary and I got into Historian's "The Climb" diary as well as moafnsteel's "Lone Star Wrestling" one. The promotion exists in the CornelVerse 97 mod, though it always folds pretty quickly, so I imported that into the 2016 data and will be giving it a shot. Hopefully we can stay afloat and maybe even grow big enough to join COTT.

<strong>Piledriver Womens title match</strong></p><p><strong>

"The Fugitive from Justice" Bonnie Clyde vs "Ice Cold" Claire Winters vs "Red Hot" Laura Flame vs Olivia "Rough" Diamond</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

The former Babe of Sin City gets a big cheer during her trademark entrance of shooting glitter from her gun prop, but is otherwise quickly eliminated by Diamond with a roll up while Clyde was busy posing for the fans. Winters catches Diamond with a flying knee just as she's standing back up from the pin and eliminates her too, leaving the two polar opposites to slug it out in a hard hitting brawl that showcases both women's legitimate martial arts backgrounds. In the finishing sequence, Flame barely ducks below a spinning heel kick, before hitting Winters with her own Flame Kick finisher, a tribute to her mentor Hell Monkey and his Hell Fire Kick.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: "Red Hot" Laura Flame, by pinfall</strong></p><p><strong>

<strong>"The Monster" Annihilus vs "Glorious" Logan Wolfsbane</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Hometown wrestler Logan Wolfsbane has the crowd behind him from the get-go, but none of his blows seem to be felt by the massive Annihilus. After hitting some high impact moves to showcase his athleticism but alas, to no avail, Wolfsbane gets pummeled by Annihilus, who gets him in the Choke Grip and leaves him unconscious in the ring just four or so minutes after the opening bell.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: "The Monster" Annihilus, by stoppage</strong></p><p>

<strong>"Cowboy" Buck Winchester vs "Wrestling's Premier Drag Queen" Vikki Victoria</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

This match is more about acting and characters than it is about action. Were this part of a SWF or USPW show it would have quickly devolved into comedy (or a riot if held in Texas or the Midwest) but in Florida, Vikki Victoria even seems to have a few fans among the 63 people in attendance. Winchester is at first hesitant to lock up with such an opponent, but mind games are where Victoria excels and he uses that to gain the upper hand. Once the formalities are over, Winchester hands out his share of a beatdown, though he still avoids grappling or any other too close contact, until he eventually figures out a way to win when he ties down Victoria's dress to the barricade and returns to the ring for the countout win.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: "Cowboy" Buck Winchester, by countout</strong></p><p>

Sheik Ali Al-Avatar comes out to introduce himself and talk down America, including cowboys and men dressing as women, whipping fans into a frenzy before the main event.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="ozLd3Bm.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ozLd3Bm.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

<strong>"Ravishing" Ritchie Riggins vs Riley McManus</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

McManus works his opponent's legs with some crisp technical wrestling in an attempt to take out his vertical base, but Riggins is mostly able to power out and bully the babyface from Georgia around. Riggins' vanity allows for a comeback though, as the ravishing one spends way too much time showboating, posing and arguing with fans. McManus takes him to the mat and grabs a leg, seeking control for an ankle lock or single leg crab, when a desperate Riggins pokes him in the eye. Referee Alvin Lavin is there and vigilant, calling for the bell to end the match in favor of McManus.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Riley McManus, via DQ</strong></p><p>

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>[backstage, after the end of Violent Conduct 2016]</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> I was nibbling on my last few pieces of free-to-grab shrimp as the last of the wrestlers left the locker room. At last, alone. I could drop the crazy antics and just let out a long sigh. Keeping up a gimmick and character at all times is a lost art, but I stuck to it nonetheless. In these times of social media, I had even been able to spin it around. People began to wonder if I was indeed a mad Arab. What I really was though, was old. My body was already starting to crumble. I was running out of time and although I had the mic skills to maybe do manager or commentary, I wanted more. Which is why I threw my last savings onto the lap of Lee Wright when I pitched the idea of Piledriver Wrestling. Less than a month later, I was reeling from our first show.</p><p> </p><p> Lee Wright had given me two years to end up with $75.000 in the bank, but we both knew this was unrealistic. We would be bleeding funds at first, the question was whether we'd be able to start turning in a profit soon enough. The dojo was leeching money, but if it could make up for it by providing new talent, it was worth the trouble. Annihilus was the latest to graduate and although he couldn't really wrestle, all he needed was some smart booking. He had the look and he had the aura. Sad that Logan had to be squashed, but a point had to be made. Don't care if he's a better wrestler or nephew to Wright's long time teammate, my job was to highlight the graduates first and forermost.</p><p> </p><p> He and Xavi had joined us when PSW cut them loose. Probably they were short on funds and these two didn't fit the mold of hardcore maniac anyway. Our fans loved seeing them. Hell, they even loved that Buck-Victoria match. Those two did everything right and their chemistry is so good, I might actually whip a "real man versus crossdresser" kind of feud out of it. This was writing itself, all I had to do was go with the flow, same as Claire and Laura. Red Hot versus Ice Cold. Two legitimate martial artists kicking the crap out of each other. This had the potential to turn into the biggest thing in modern women's wrestling, bar none.</p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46150" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Piledriver Wrestling Presents</strong></p><p><strong> Damage Inc. 2016</strong></p><p> Saturday, Week 4, February, 2016</p><p> Live from the Rainbow Bar & Grill, FL</p><p> Free shrimp to anyone attending!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Main Event</strong></p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Piledriver Championship match</span></p><p> Cip Conduit © vs "The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Co-Main Event</strong></p><p> "Cowboy" Buck Winchester vs "Ravishing" Ritchie Riggins</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Womens match</strong></p><p> Olivia "Rough" Diamond vs AAA's very own Selina Svelte</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Team match</strong></p><p> Austin "Easy Money" Smooth & Riley McManus vs "The Metalhead" Seth Whitead & Sheik Ali Al-Avatar</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote>

Xavi Ferrera comes to the ring and cuts a promo to hype up his main event title match against Cip Conduit, when all of a sudden, the champion appears to sneak attack him by slamming the title belt on his face!</p><p>

<strong>Austin "Easy Money" Smooth & Riley McManus vs "The Metalhead" Seth Whitehead & Sheik Ali Al-Avatar</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

A classic clash of two technicians against two heel brawlers, the opener had good action as Smooth and McManus used quick tags to keep the fresh man in and work a pretty fast paced match, at least for two technically-oriented wrestlers. Whitehead showed great aggression, the Sheik was exactly the kind of dastardly heel you'd expect given his gimmick and after getting bossy with his partner one too many times, Al-Avatar was clogged in the head and knocked off the apron by a pissed-off Whitehead, leaving the metal maniac to fight his two opponents on his own and lose.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winners: Austin Smooth & Riley McManus, by pinfall</strong></p><p>

Α 2012 graduate of the AAA Cat's Lair dojo and aggressive technical wrestler, Selina Svelte made a grand appearance to pop the crowd of 65 fans in attendance.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="0l8tY8y.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0l8tY8y.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

<strong>Olivia "Rough" Diamond vs "AAA's very own" Selina Svelte</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Diamond's inexperience shows in this match as the veteran Svelte has her way tying her into knots, but it also gets fans behind the red headed underdog. Crowd support can only help a wrestler so much though, and once Svelte's had enough toying with her opponent, she slaps on the Prawn Armlock and gets the submission win.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Selina Svelte, by submission</strong></p><p>

<strong>"Cowboy" Buck Winchester vs "Ravishing" Ritchie Riggins</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Very much an oldschool wrasslin' brawl, the semi main event is hard hitting but once again Riggins spends more time showboating than wrestling, which in turn gets under the nerves of both fans and his opponent. Turns out it all was a trap though and Winchester falls for it, his frustration leading him straight into a scoop powerslam and the pin with a handful of tights.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Ritchie Riggins, by pinfall with a handful of tights</strong></p><p>

"Red Hot" Laura Flame comes out and hypes up "Ice Cold" Claire Winters, saying she earned her respect at Violent Conduct, especially once they were left alone in the ring. Given their similar styles and opposite demeanor, Flame says she'd love to put the title on the line for a chance to wrestle Winters one on one.</p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="0l8tY8y.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0l8tY8y.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p>

<strong>Piledriver Championship match</strong></p><p><strong>

Cip Conduit © vs "The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Xavi Fererra's face is still busted and scarred from the attack he sustained at the opener of the show, but he looks determined to fight and if nothing else, go down fighting. Cip Conduit brings the fight and isn't afraid to throw plenty of blows aimed at his opponent's head, to the point where Ferrerra is reeling, but out of nowhere, the Puertorican busts out a Ferrerrarana! Exhausted, he can't capitalize with the pin so both men end up laid out as they try to recover. Cip is first on his feet and tries to connect with the running boot, but Ferrerra shows great athleticism in dodging him. The champion ends up caught with his foot over the top rope and Fererra explodes into a swinging neckbreaker! With Conduit reeling, the challenger ascends to the top rope, hits a high impact Frog Splash and Alvin Lavin counts the one two three!</p><p>

<div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>[Monday, Week 4 of March. Five days to Wrestle Bowl 2016]</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> I looked down at the numbers from our first two events. Of course the company wasn't going to hit $75.000 by the end of 2018, but at this rate it would probably be in debt by the end of this year. I needed to change my approach. Trim down the roster, stick with a core group of people and bring in well-known wrestlers for one-off jobs or short programs. Should add diversity and give our people some momentum with wins over established names instead of over each other. That meant people would be fired. I went through my papers again to pull up the card for Wrestle Bowl 2016. No time to bring in new faces, so we might as well rely on local talent for this one. The real question was should I tell those fired before or after the show. Stuff like this tends to affect your performance, no matter how funny some insane Middle Eastern man breaks the news to you.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46150" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Piledriver Wrestling Presents</strong></p><p><strong> Wrestle Bowl 2016</strong></p><p> Saturday, Week 4, March, 2016</p><p> Live from the Rainbow Bar & Grill, FL</p><p> Free shrimp to anyone attending!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Main Event</strong></p><p> <strong>Piledriver Championship match</strong></p><p> "The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera © vs Pete the Hellbilly</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Co-Main Event</strong></p><p> Riley McManus vs Sheik Ali Al-Avatar</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Loser Leaves Town match</strong></p><p> "Cowboy" Buck Winchester vs "The Metalhead" Seth Whitehead</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Womens match</strong></p><p> "The Fugitive from Justice" vs Olivia "Rough" Diamond</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote>

Piledriver Wrestling presents

Wrestle Bowl 2016

Saturday, Week 4, March, 2016

Live from the Rainbow Bar & Grill, FL

Free shrimp to anyone attending!

Now the Piledriver Champion, Xavi Ferrera comes out with the title to cut a promo on Pete the Hellbilly, who is totally not a heel version of Pete the Hillbilly, hyping their main event title match tonight.

IBHYxNQ.jpgGIRKb76.jpgMBBQG5n.jpg

"The Fugitive from Justice" Bonnie Clyde vs Olivia "Rough" Diamond

More or less a fanservice match between two good looking ladies as former Babe of Sin City Bonnie Clyde wrestles almost Babe of Sin City (had they not closed shop before hiring her) Olivia Diamond. Very basic moves in a match kept simple, with Diamond getting the win after a DDT.

Winner: Olivia "Rough" Diamond, by pinfall

0l8tY8y.jpg

EErLJ6x.jpg

After the match, the winner cuts a promo about how happy she is to be living the dream, from wrestling fan to manager and now a full blown wrestler, only to be interrupted by a frustrate Selina Svelte. To the AAA dojo graduate, it is unthinkable how she's not the one fighting "Red Hot" Laura Flame for the title when she's the most well-known female on the roster, let alone how Diamond has been featured in every Piledriver show so far.

Loser Leaves Town match

"Cowboy" Buck Winchester vs "The Metalhead" Seth Whitehead

A rough contest between two tough brawlers with no punches pulled, this one is made more exciting by what's at stake. Whitehead's more of a big power move guy as opposed to Winchester's southern brawling approach, but the Cowboy manages to hit a neckbreaker and take out the Metalhead, once and for all.

Winner: "Cowboy" Buck Winchester, by pinfall

"The Metalhead" Seth Whitehead will be leaving Piledriver Wrestling

Sheik Ali Al-Avatar is at it again, insulting all things American when Riley McManus decides he's heard enough! The good ol' boy from Georgia storms the ring to interrupt Sheiky's promo and their match is off to an early start!

7nXiDsK.jpg

SJYcxhu.jpgGIRKb76.jpglh2JDXB.jpg

Riley McManus vs Sheik Ali Al-Avatar

McManus is in control early on, but the dastardly Sheik is able to put the brakes with a sneaky rake of the eyes! He then unloads on the Georgia native like, well, a madman, all the while screaming nonesense. Fans cheer McManus to a big comeback though and ultimately the Sheik succumbs to the power of 'murican patriotism and a smoothly executed Slingshot Suplex.

Winner: Riley McManus, by pinfall

Piledriver Championship match

"The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera © vs Pete the Hellbilly

Hellbilly Pete was never a man known for his in-ring skill, but the big powerhouse does carry some name value thanks to his time with the USPW and still knows how to get a crowd going despite just about to hit 50 years of age. His shoddiness should theoretically highlight Ferrera's athleticism in comparison, but against a man who can't keep up, Ferrera seems to struggle and the match falls flat after the first few minutes. Pete hits a few big power moves that can't keep the champion down and as he's rapidly running out of stamina, he is taken down with a dropkick that sets him up for the big Frog Splash.

Winner: "The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera, by pinfall

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>[Friday, Week 3 of April 2016. Roughly a week before Raw Power 2016]</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> I took a sip from my scalding hot tea and cracked my neck left and right. Leaning over books and notes for a few months had damaged my skeleton worse than years of hardcore wrestling ever did. Guess I wasn't cut out for an office job. Scams and cons were more of my thing, which is both why I got into professional wrestling and why never got far in this business. "You're not being cut, you're just having your contract renewed into a one month deal or one appearance, whichever comes first!" That's what I'd told Bonnie and Seth, now I had to say it to Vikki. Technically, I wasn't firing them so they had nothing against me legally, but I was lying to their face and we all knew it. Mark Carnie at least tried a bit to hide his scumbaggery.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="SJYcxhu.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SJYcxhu.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="WuYw4C6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WuYw4C6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> I found my mind racing back to my match with Riley at Wrestle Bowl. We really stole the show from Xavi and that fat bastard, Pete. Sure, he'd come for a one night gig to put our champion over, but with the money he was charging (plus the tons of free shrimp he gobbled up) he could at least made an effort to have a good match. Me and Riley though, we just clicked. Him being a white meat babyface from Georgia against the un-American Sheik could turn into a major storyline, if I wasn't this close to retirement. I felt sorry for the kid, he was a great wrestler and a great character, he and Buck were probably my two finest workers between the ropes, now I was on the tail end of my career and Buck would be losing Vikki Victoria, with whom he too had great chemistry, but money was tight. Perhaps I could slowly transition into a manager role. Be a mouthpiece for Annihilus. Big man could use someone to talk for him and he was getting on pretty well with Riley backstage before Wrestle Bowl anyway.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="MBBQG5n.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/MBBQG5n.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> I laid down on my bed and grabbed my phone, sliding through out-of-focus snapshots of the show. Damn, that Olivia Diamond was a sight to see. Not just because I have a thing for readheads (see also: Laura Flame) but because she knew how to use her looks. Bonnie was a stripper alright, but she barely knew how to wrestle. Claire and Laura were martial arts nerds who just happened to look good. Olivia was the real deal, truly the fans' own. She'd done the interviewer, then the eye candy valet, then the manager before training as a wrestler. She knew how to make a crowd fall for her and she had the drive to succeed in the business as well. I zoomed in on one photo. Was it just me or did she look a bit more toned compared to when she first walked in?</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p> </p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="150" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/gK1Dro5pr_0?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="Muhammad Hassan Titantron"></iframe></div></div></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> F&*^(*&ing ringtone... So many years later and it still stunned me most of the time. Didn't help that I was a little lost daydreaming about Olivia.</p><p> </p><p> <em>"It's Lee. Did you check Xavi's interview on totalextremewestling.com?"</em></p><p> </p><p> Alright then, might as well get back into character.</p><p> <em>"MOST HONORABLE LEADER, SALAM ALEKUM! I SHALL DO SO AT ONCE, GODSPEED!"</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> *click*</em></p><p> </p><p> Lee was used to my madness by this point. He knew to look past the shouting and insanity to get what I was saying. And what I was saying was "no, but I'll check it out and call you back."</p><p> </p><p> <em>*furious typing*</em></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="3gQC2Ib.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3gQC2Ib.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> "Yeah, you know, it's crazy being champion already. When PSW cut me loose, I felt like I'd done something wrong, but Piledriver came calling and just two months in, I'm the champion. Crazy, right? It's a small town promotion, but it's linked to a prestigious dojo, so it's nothing to scoff about. I always get the shivers when I'm about to step out to a live crowd and now that I'm the franchise over there, it's only gotten worse. Might go away with experience, but I go crazy imagining what it would be like to main event a USPW or SWF show. Don't think I'll ever really get past it and frankly, I kinda don't want to? You get complacent if you do."</p><p> </p><p> Damn it, Xavi. Didn't expect you to stick around very long, the big dogs will come calling soon anyway, but savor your time with us. Piledriver Wrestling presents

Raw Power 2016

Saturday, Week 4, April, 2016

Live from the Rainbow Bar & Grill, FL

Free shrimp to anyone attending!

k8p7o5e.jpg

With a smug grin on his face, Kip Keenan cuts a promo talking trash about Florida (in comparison to Puerto Rico) for some cheap heat from the 65 fans in attendance, then promises to defeat Xavi Ferrera tonight and take the Piledriver title with him back to FCW.

7nXiDsK.jpg

WuYw4C6.jpgGIRKb76.jpgGW0reUd.jpg

"The Monster" Annihilus vs "American Eagle" Roger Monteiro

Monteiro comes out super hyped but hits a brick wall in Annihilus, who mauls him for a few minutes before choking him out with a meaty hand around the throat.

Winner: “The Monster” Annihilus, by stoppage

Xavi Ferrera cuts a promo in response to Keenan’s, hyping up their main event clash over the Piledriver title.

Loser Leaves Town match

"Cowboy" Buck Winchester vs "Wrestling's Premier Drag Queen" Vikki Victoria

Revisiting their match at January’s Violent Conduct, Winchester and Victoria put on another entertaining match with emphasis on their characters over actual wrestling. This time Victoria is more focused on dealing out actual damage than mind games, making for a good brawl until he seemingly pulls a muscle on his lower back trying to suplex Winchester, who reverses into an offensive sequence leading up to his neckbreaker finisher.

Winner: “Cowboy” Buck Winchester, by pinfall

"Wrestling's Premier Drag Queen" Vikki Victoria will be leaving Piledriver Wrestling

Riley McManus & "Glorious" Logan Wolfsbaine vs "Ravishing" Ritchie Riggins & Cip Conduit

Conduit is all to happy to brawl with Wolfsbaine, making up for his smaller size with sheer intensity. At times he even flirts with a disqualification and Riggins barely notices, content as he is to pose on the apron. Seeing how his partner is in a tight spot, McManus requests the tag and gets it, his skill just too much for Conduit to deal with, so in return he too tags his partner in. The next few minutes are a nod to Piledriver Wrestling’s first ever main event between these two, until Conduit blind-tags himself in again. McManus never notices and gets caught by surprise, until he’s able to give the hot tag to his partner. Wolfsbaine comes in to clean house, but in all the action and his own excitement, he falls victim to a sneaky low blow from Cip Conduit, who uses the ropes for some extra leverage in order to keep the big man down for three.

Winners: "Ravishing" Ritchie Riggins & Cip Conduit, by pinfall with some extra leverage from the ropes.

ozLd3Bm.jpg

WuYw4C6.jpg

McManus and Wolfsbaine are recovering in the ring trying to understand what happened, when out of nowhere, Annihilus hits the ring and attacks them both. The assault is quick and brutal, and leaves both teammates completely destroyed.

Piledriver Womens title match

"Red Hot" Laura Flame © vs "Ice Cold" Claire Winters

Now free to pull out all the stops in a singles match, Flame and Winters go at it, expanding on the preview they gave fans during the Fatal Four Way in January. While this makes for an exciting, open-ended and hard hitting match, it also takes pacing from wrestling way into MMA territory, meaning the two ladies run out of steam and moves pretty quick, leading to a slow finish around the sixteenth minute when Flame surprises Winters with a schoolboy.

Winner: “Red Hot” Laura Flame

“Red Hot” Laura Flame makes defence number 1 of the Piledriver Women's Championship.

EErLJ6x.jpgMBBQG5n.jpg

After the match, “Red Hot” Laura Flame calls for a mic and thanks the fans for supporting her. Selina Svelte interrupts by coming out and entering the ring. After voicing her displeasure at not being given a shot at the title yet and some back-and-forth insults, she attacks the exhausted Flame, laying her out. Olivia “Rough” Diamond comes running out from the back, hits the ring and forces Svelte to a retreat, saving Flame.

Piledriver Championship match

"The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera © vs FCW's Kip Keenan

Keenan’s strong technical foundation allows him to follow the old school heel playbook, slowing down the fast paced babyface and keeping him grounded to eliminate his arsenal of high flying moves. The two competitors fight back and forth in a match that ticks all the boxes, from fan reaction to pace, moves, spots, near falls and the inevitable babyface comeback, leading to the High Impact Frog Splash for the pin.

<p>Raw Power had been good. Better than Wrestle Bowl, at least. The main event was the best match of the night, as it should and Kip did a great job from start to finish. Annihilus kept squashing people as he hopefully learned to be a better worker, the women were doing great and Buck had sent off another person. Maybe I should tweak his shtick a bit, make him more of a bounty hunter kind of thing. Eh, might as well go online to see how everyone else in the business was doing, maybe I'd find a good idea to rip off...</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>[15 minutes later]</strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> "WONDERFUL!
