- Cool intro. It's nice to see the TNT title being treated as a big deal instead of a prop to get for midcarders and jobbers TV time.

- Sammy vs Darby was great. Enjoyed the creative use of limb targeting and how it played into the finish.

- Letting Hardy promo as himself as well is a good idea. His Broken voice gets annoying quickly.

- Technique by Taz.

- Loincloth Eagles vs Omega was solid. Jericho is the master of putting himself and others over at the same time.

- Nice Scorpio Sky video. Is that the first time BTE has been advertised during Dynamite?

- Havoc vs OC was good. Happy OC won although it made him some enemies.

- I wonder if they will have Wardlow sub in for MJF against Mox at DoN 2. Assuming Archer is tied up with Cody the only other heel with enough momentum for a title shot is Brodie Lee.

- Let's Flim Flam!

- Dustin vs Sabian was solid but the retirement stipulation didn't work without a crowd reacting to the nearfalls.

Better than last week.

Matt Hardy's promo was top notch.

Loved the opening Cody vignette.

Enjoyed Sammy vs Darby but I wish Sammy would have won.

Jericho on commentary is so fun. He made a great call during the main event where he said if there was an audience, Dustin Rhodes would have the advantage because he feeds off the crowd. Such a good line of commentary.

- Darby vs Cody was great. The finish looked weird at first but it showed that Darby was so close to winning but Cody's experience advantage gave him the edge.

- Scorpio needs a big main event singles push in the next couple of years. LOL MJF.

- Musa vs Wardlow was a solid squash.

- Manitoba Melee was fun.

- Havoc & Sabian vs Best Friends was my MOTN. Brutal and entertaining.

- Dr. Britt Baker is the role model we need. Tony got thrown under the bus LOL.

- Spears vs Black was a solid squash.

- Marko vs Lee was the pick of the squashes.

- Looks like Mox vs MJF might kick off next week.

- Archer vs Dustin was a great slow burn match. The rope walk moonsault was impressive. Archer kicking out of the Cross-Rhodes at 1 and the 2.9 near-fall for Dustin were also highlights.

Contender for best lockdown show. Credit to Tony and Jericho for sounding enthusiastic in the middle of a long taping.

The most recent episodes of AEW Dynamite were reportedly all written by Tony Khan, with Cody’s help. PWInsider reports that the word backstage was that Khan wrote all the episodes from the most recent tapings as Khan, realizing that he would have a small crew due to the lockdown, sat down and wrote all of the episodes on the fly in a matter of minutes.

Khan built the shows around the TNT Championship tournament as well as available local talents. PWInsider describes it as a “trial by fire” situation where they had to adapt to the rapidly-evolving situation. The tapings were focused around the idea of making the shows like old territorial TV shows which Khan was a huge fan of in terms of Memphis and Continental Wrestling.

Cody was said to be “very instrumental” in helping to put the shows together, and has been very hands-on with his own programs and those of others.

- Janela vs Cody was good.

- A rare women's division promo! Fatal 4-Way to crown Shida as #1 Contender next week. Nyla's promo and squash match were fun.

- I think MJF vs Mox was the original plan for DoN so MJF was probably legit injured and they're being cautious. Spears is still salty LOL.

- Kaz vs Mox was good. There it is... Mox vs Brodie Lee for the title. Getting epic Shield vs Wyatt Family flashbacks.

- QT vs Archer was solid. Brandi is a decent promo with the right material. She's smart but she made a mistake messing with Dr. Britt's shoe. Holy crap that snake freaked me out!

- Le Sex Gods vs Omega & Hardy was easy MOTN. Fantastic use of the location. Pineapple Pete looking to get his head bashed in next week.

Good show. I've gotten used to the quietness but having a bunch of animated wrestlers does make a difference.

It’s funny how I also was interested to see the actual breakdown by segment this week and heard that stat about outdrawing Raw. Part of the fun in the ratingz warz days was that the TV audience was elastic and gave a good indicator of what segments were actually keeping people’s attention, who could draw, etc. WWE used to listen to those numbers a lot more than they seem to listen to crowds now... I wonder at what point would AEW declare “victory” over NXT and move nights to counterprogram one of the A shows, or if TNT would prefer to just keep them there.

They'd have to start hitting old Impact numbers before I'd do that. 1.5M on Wednesday and I pull the trigger and go the kill. That's a long way, and much less geek wrestling before we can get there, and I'd say they've cooled off in the last two years. Even with Raw and Smackdown toileting, once everything is back to normal he probably gets 20% or so of that viewership back. People aren't going to be watching Cable News for the rest of their lives.

I hope Dynamite stays on Wednesday's myself. As much as people want competition, I wish wrestling companies would do more to help one another sustain their audiences because the real competition is other programming that people are tuning into instead of wrestling. I'm not sure that dividing the audience helps with that.

Yeah I also hope Dynamite stays on Wednesdays. I have other shows I watch on Monday and Friday.

I'm the opposite, Wednesday is the only day of the week where I'm actually overloaded with programs (temporarily), with Survivor and the Challenge. Don't have any other shows getting the DVR treatment at the moment.

And competition is exactly what WWE needs, it's no accident that the ratings peaked and more stars were made when there were two viable mainstream choices on at the same time. Not saying it's imminent, just the eventual move as I see it.

Watched Dynamite... and I think I hate having wrestlers in the crowd now. It's fine if you're just putting on matches and want some noise, but not if you're trying to sell serious angles. It kills it.

Dark Order assault Moxley, and there's Private Party, just watching. Either they're cowards, or they really dislike Moxley, or it's just a show and doesn't matter. Brandi gets a snake on her (was that ever scary? seems harmless) and Trent's just there. Omega & Hardy get beaten up 5-on-2, and Billy Gunn's just following it around. Enjoying the show. So it's pretend.

I'm really enjoying MJF and Shawn Spears... except when they're being glib assholes in the crowd during important matches. Nothing deflates a moment like someone with an "I don't care" attitude. I like their promos when they care about what they're talking about. I don't need to see them roll their eyes around the Murderhawk.

The main event was fun. I wish they'd taken a bit more time with it. The Three-Faces-of-Hardy idea could have been something really interesting.
