Not a big fan of this attitude. Played quite a few games here and seen Day 1 lynches you wish hadn't happened. Seen first day no lynches that brought a wealth of information because of the many avenues that were explored along the way. I have no preference of whether there's a Day 1 lynch or not. Day 1 brings a lot of risk that is unique to being the opening phase and I'm always taking that fact into consideration until Night 1 falls.</p><p> </p><p> Some around here are perfectly fine goofing around with joke votes. The ballots Rev and Paws cast on Destiny are based on a running gag about his potential for evil. Personally, I view my ballot as a sacred trust. I'm not inclined to cast it until I know why I'm doing so. I'm looking for every lynch to be the right lynch regardless the phase number. No need to cede scum the early advantage because we were married to lynching someone for the sake of it. In this setting especially, if we're going to lynch we have to be sure we truly mean it.</p>

It usually last for a bit and then the game settles into actual play unless someone flubs up early.</p>

Doing nothing on Day 1, losing a townie or two to nightkills and trying to lynch correctly on Day 2 with nothing more to go on.</p><p> </p><p> Close v/w wagons can tell you a lot but they can’t tell you anything if there are no wagons at all. Reads and votes not matching can point to scum but not if there are no votes at all. Etc.</p><p> </p><p> Cappy like “We should try to lynch carefully” and yeah of course but we shouldn’t even consider no lynch imo.</p>

I generally hold mine before casting it also. But just because he holds a difference of opinion to your's does not constitute an attitude. You will find that most sites hold this 'attitude.'</p>

Just saying I don't find the value in lynching for lynching's sake. Honestly it's the joke votes that annoy me Day 1. A good bandwagon to try and establish facts? Won't complain about that in any phase including the opening one. The more we know as a town, the better.</p>
