*Sigh* Can I turn off Bully mode ???

Recommended Posts

Started off as CEO of a small company (XCC) and working hard to secure young future fighters and increase my company, doing quite well I would say. I found a lot of good stars for my company which I scouted out on my own (Good amount of time) then I skip to my next event and get interrupted saying ALPHA-1 has signed pretty much all my existing champs and rising stars >:( I don't mind getting a star or two stolen but literally ALL my great fighters in one swoop!?!? Is there a way to turn off cherry picking/poaching? I like realism but man that just seems wrong and being a small company I cannot get fighters to sign exclusive contracts with me. Is this the forever pattern history will repeat until I get big enough to sign exclusives ??? I dont even see a point to research my fighters and get attached to anyone, might as well just keep throwing shows without even really paying attention.

Someone pass the salt please >:)

Otherwise fast sim is not the best way with those regional to international games. I use to play day by day to be notified when an other company tries to steal my big names. For realism sake, in my Real World mod, I only let go fighters to Bellator and UFC, and resigns the rest of the bunch

This will give you the opportunity to negotiate however as a small company you may not be able to offer enough to keep the fighters anyway. I can find the exact setting after work today if needed.</p>

Can't go below the default of normal. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>Heh yah I noticed that also. Kinda odd seeing how it is the only setting that does not have a below average or none option. Oh well I guess I will suck it up and let my revenge simmer and boil...... I don't know who I am more angry at..... the companies stealing my talent or the talent whom I gave title shots too! I wish blacklisting fighters would let them know how much you hate them now lol.</p><p> </p><p>

The hard part about running a small company is no matter how much you offer not a single fighter will sign a exclusive deal! I have made good profit almost a year and a half in and my reputation is much better than it was but no dice on exclusives still. Oh well I am a survivor and will weather the storm!</p>

Fighters won’t sign exclusive deals until the company reaches High Level Regional size, just to save you keeping trying <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Slightly ridiculous I can offer them a deal that's just mind blowing for being a new up and comer, 80k a fight for 5 fights or 3 years and also not cutting them if injured and they turn it down? Big company or not in real life, I get a deal like that compared to the measly 2k I have been offered (as well as being cut when injured) and no questions asked SOLD! LoL</p>

I remember when I was in low-mid regional sizes, I would pay a high name value fighter up to 200-250K a fight only to retain them. This still was not an exclusive deal, but at least this prevented them from signing exclusive ones with bigger promotions. And despite the impression that you can't afford to pay that much, it actually more than pays off in the long run - just make sure you have some decent PPV broadcaster contracts when these stars fight.
