Bandido solidified himself as the top dog in PWG, taking down Brody King with the 21 Plex to add a 3rd defense to his record. David Starr continued his winning ways, defeating Dragon Lee in what was one of the best PWG matches of the year so far. <hr color=green> <img src="https://i.imgur.com/Nf2CXl2.jpg" style="border:black 4px solid;" /> PWG How to Survive a Pandemic, 4/17/20 Globe Theatre, Los Angeles, CA 782 Fans - SELL OUT! Show Rating: C Orange Cassidy defeated Laredo Kid in 8:20 with a Super Kick D- Standard OC match with some fun lucha antics. Unclear what Cassidy can do in PWG as his ceiling is pretty much the midcard. Jeff Cobb defeated Darby Allin in 9:42 with the Tour of the Islands C+ Really good for the 2nd match. Cobb vs. a smaller guy he can toss around is always great. Flamita, Aramis & Rey Horus defeated Tony Deppen, Alex Zayne & Joey Janela in 10:29 when Aramis used a 450° Splash on Zayne D+ Standard spotfest. Fun hybrid of lucha style and GCW style. Aramis has been quietly picking up wins. Jonathan Gresham defeated Trey Miguel in 14:53 with an Octopus Hold C Solid match. Miguel could be someone PWG can build around. Reminds a lot of folks of Ricochet. The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) defeated Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent?) in 14:39 when Wentz pinned Taylor after the Hot Fire Flame B Good match following up on the six-man tag from Mystery Vortex VII. The Rascalz are getting a lot of exposure in IMPACT and are looking like bigger and bigger stars every time they are in a PWG ring. David Starr defeated Dragon Lee in 13:42 with the JML Driver B Really great match here. The second best PWG singles match in 2020, right after last month's Lucha Bros battle. An upset of sorts for Starr here, as many expected Lee to come in with a bang and get a huge win right off the bat. Starr proved he shouldn't be underestimated, but this is definitely not the last we will see of Dragon Lee. <img src="https://i.imgur.com/KJHMM9s.jpg" style="border: #000000 4px double;" /> PWG World Heavyweight Title: Bandido © defeated Brody King in 14:46 with the 21 Plex (3rd defense) B- Another great Bandido title defense. He's run through most of the upper card at this point, defeating Starr, Gresham, and now King. Very proud of how they look as I think I got progressively more complicated as I kept making them. Finally know how to add borders to text and do a lot more!
