Is there a a pack out there with the Thunderverse workers without the backgrounds? I want to mess around with some custom backgrounds and frames for stables/Companies etc.

BTW, has anybody successfully converted old Thunderverse databases to TEW 2020 and are there any issues? Are they playable? I still think the last two databases were two of the best and would love to have the option to play them in TEW 2020.

MHero posted this link a while back, it's playable, not got the fancy bells and whistles of TEW 2020 but this is by design and is more of a tide people over conversion.

One of the difference with the ported 2016 version to 2020 is that you need to be a bit more popular to have a tv deal for certain promotion. So a promotion like GNW won't be popular enough to have a tv deal at the start compare to 2016 because you can't have tv deal in Canada before reaching 35 pop (Small size) and If I remember right they start with 24 everywhere in Canada.

Little p(rogress) diddy for you all. We're working on the last few promotions needing bios now. After that, it's the unemployed guys. Between those and title histories, we're pretty close to where I want to be for a 1.0 release (jhd holds powers to overrule me on this as always ). Shouldn't be too long before we can go "hey guys, mod drops on XX/YY/ZZZZ". if we announce a date at all wooooooooo

 

In the meantime, enjoy a screenshot that shows the work we've been putting into this since day one of the planning for the mod. This is just for the US.

 

 

I'd like to apologise if I've got anyone's hopes up that this post is THE post.

POW! is the superhero promotion, right? That seems super interesting to me but I have no idea how to even begin booking a promotion like that.

 

I think in 2016, I stuck with the southern “wrasslin” promotions because of familiarity more than anything.

It's not a superhero promotion. It's more like Chikara. Just ask yourself "Why would a hot dog want to fight an aging Hawaiian Playboy?*", and once you can answer that, you're ready to book!

 

*The answer, of course, is "There's some beef between them".

Honestly give it a shot! You might be surprised how easy it is to book promotions like that. I avoided ZEN for ages in Cverse but when I finally tried it out I realized it's insanely easy to make up stories when you don't have to worry about them being too unrealistic or cheesy and you can feel free to do whatever your mind can think of!

Shaun, I mean this in the nicest way possible but are you sure you're posting in the right thread? To answer the questions you've asked to the best of my understanding - this is a completely separate mod from the CVerse and you'd have like 2000+ workers imported if you were to import this into your current save so I'd hopefully assume you'd have enough dudes to use.
