You can use "Advance storyline" even if just one is in it, and I usually do an angle after the ME with something spooky happening.

 

(Also may have turned storyline penalties off for this save because of SWF's unreasonable storyline goals in this game, I have it on with TCW but SWF is just way up there)

Just finished up March in my first SWF save and it's going well. Have managed to elevate Parker, Spade, Hernandez, and Primus firmly into Star territory. Stole Rick Law from USPW to give myself another upper card babyface and have won the last 2 area battles against them. Slowly building to a Spade vs Parker NA Championship fued to really push them to the next level, debating if I want to try to pull a double turn. Despite what their attributes might say, I've always seen Parker as the heel and Spade as the face.

I also turned him face early on to help balance things out. In 2016 he turned into a real star in my SWF save. I usually book him as a mix of Matt Riddle subtle stoner mannerisms mixed with pretty boy face character. I've used Greed as the leader or spokesperson for a cult stable. In one of my many unfinished games he was the "power behind the throne". But I saw the "Jimmy Jacobs" render of Mainstream and it came to me. That and he reminded me of a modern young preacher of a megachurch so that's where it came from.

 

I was thinking more as Joy being the hypocritical positivity preacher and Scythe being this independent force he associates with. He tries to control it but Scythe has a will of his own. They would be more like equals, struggling for power while associating with each other for their own ends. More likely as you said I'll use Greed in the role as spokesperson for Scythe.

 

Those are some good muscle suggestions. Hell's Bouncer is another one I use for muscle. I really like the Dreadnaught idea

 

I made Eric Eisen his mouthpiece when Eric was given the evil GM role. Also added Rogue in there due to some injuries. Greed is kind of in no man's land as I don't have a current plan for him. Playing around with the idea of having him and Brandon James as a tag team, but I don't really have room for another top heel team right now.

I decided to sign a few to work in RIPW to see how they would do and they are putting up grades that would be right up with my B show immediately. I was going to wait to introduce them after Supreme Challenge, but now I'm thinking of running a title tournament that ends at SC40.

I went ahead and hired a handful of women who had good entertainment skills to serve as managers. Then by the time I was ready to start my women's division they were available with Pop in the low 50s.

Great job, what headlined your 93 show? Majority of my show ratings now are scoring 82-85. Aside from one outlier (an awful 70 on my first show) I've actually seen very little fluctuation.

Jumbo Jackson has signed a written pay per show contract with a low downside so I can use him sparingly. He's going to wrestle under his real name. Crippler will solidify the face turn by saving him, wrestle under his real name & become World Champion. Scythe takes out Jackson, buries Crippler alive to win the title. Couple months later, Underwater (re)Union. I could have signed Cannonball Kid to go all-in on this but EILL offered him a good contract straight away and it wasn't worth a bidding war as once Crippler retires he'd be done.

Thanks, man!! The main event was Remo, Des Davids, and Primus Allen vs. Mikey Lau, Rocky Golden, and Rogue! It scored a 97!! The post-match brawl scored a 92 as well!

 

Remo has his own stable consisting of those guys and they're individually feuding with Golden, Lau, and Rouge. Golden V Des, Lau V Remo, and Rogue V Primus! So, this 6-man tag was on the go-home show!

The obvious comparisons to Masked Patriot have made me unsure what to do with him. I think he's a better worker, at least in my save. He's almost as over in the US as Patriot, and he's skyrocketed in pop even though he hasn't debuted yet. I'm assuming EILL has US TV because he's at 58 overness and he starts at like 12, which is wild as i'm only just in May. Anyway, i thought about renaming him Masked Patriot and doing a fake vs real Patriot feud. But also with how that went with Kane and Sin Cara in real life, i don't know how much legs that has, and it goes nowhere afterwards. I also don't know what to do if they don't interact in some way, but Patriot is still in the tag division with Matty Faith, and i want that to stay together for some time. Basically in this long winded post, I am asking what would you guys do with him? Hijo Del Águila Americana can work heel or face, he's talented and over, but yeah i just don't have an entrance strategy for him that lasts, and doesn't affect Masked Patriot negatively.

I just got my first 100 rated segment between Rocky and Atom Smasher! It isn't in my plans to put the title on Atom, but damn he isn't making that choice easy! He just had a really good #1 contenders feud that he won against Valiant & The Crippler + some other good feuds and he is already killing it against Rocky! I am tempted... lol!

 

UPDATE: So, my original plans were to have Remo win a tournament I created (Jack Bruce Invitational, similar to the G1) in May which would have granted him a title shot against Golden at SC 40 (July), which he would have won! But, I've decided I am going to put the World Title on Atom Smasher at the April PPV, resulting in Golden entering the Jack Bruce Invitational. The final for that tournament will now be Remo V Golden with 2 outcomes!

 

1 - Golden wins the Jack Bruce Invitational and headlines SC 40 against Atom Smasher, winning his title back!

 

2 - Remo wins the Jack Bruce Invitational, Rocky then goes on to defeat Atom Smasher at the June PPV setting up Remo V Golden at SC 40 in July!

I guess I'll see how Golden V Smasher goes at the April PPV!

 

UPDATE 2: I just booked the following week after this show and I opened with Atom & Rocky again, another 100 lol!

 

UPDATE 3: Smasher and Golden had an 85 rated match! Could have been better, but Atom's POP has skyrocketed to 90 after the win, so that's cool lol! On the downside, Golden dropped all the way from a 91 POP to an 84 POP!

This is a good idea, i'm gonna use it. Got Faith and Old Glory loosely aligned with ZWB against the Rat Pack, gonna show Patriot get beaten down badly backstage only for him to show up next week. In reality the switch will have already happened! Probably keep this going to after SC and give the eventual singles feud the time it deserves rather than on a stacked card.

Nice! Smasher is finally coming round in my game, had him and Lau feud and both of them are now red hot momentum. Did a Gumshoe Noir cinematic match, played Smasher as the deluded 50's Fallout style villain. He won in what i considered to be his match and he's now at 75 pop. Lau is also 75. The match unfortunately got a 57 but thats the risk with those type of matches. They co-mained the May PPV and got a 84 in a regular singles. I'm happy Smasher is coming around for me cos I do love his character. There's so many people i want the World Title on (Lau, Remo, Golden, Crippler, Smasher) but I think he will have to get it soon!

<p>Finally got around to booking another month in my save after a busy holiday weekend. Spencer Spade is now number 3 on my list of Franchise Players right behind Rocky and Remo. Planning on doing a 3 month build of Spade vs Parker (who is up to Star perception) to SC and pulling the double turn at the event. Remo's contract came up and I had to shell out big bucks to keep him away from USPW. I also ended up stealing both Greg Gauge and Edd Stone from TCW, just waiting on their contracts to start. Brought back Jack Bruce on a handshake deal, but not sure exactly what my plan is for him just yet. Ekuma and High Flying Hawaiian still have the tag belts and are currently fueding with the Awesomeness and Brandon James/John Greed. Currently planning on kicking Monty and Justin Sensitive out of the Rat Pack and replacing them with Dominic DeSousa and Sammy Smoke as a tag team and giving Paul a single's push. </p><p> </p><p>

Weird to see everyone having such great success with Smasher, maybe he just got a bad roll in my game, but he hasn't been anything special.</p>

In May. Giving Des a big push. Seemingly every big heel on the roster besides Remo told me they wanted to put Lenny over. Also I just had my first matchup between Rocky and Scythe at the April PPV. Awful chemistry. Really bad luck. Also Scythe and Remo have awful chemistry as a team which limits me in some big tag matches to set up ppv shows. Not great Chemistry luck. I’m thinking of having Rocky vs Remo vs Des at SC but I think it might be too soon to go ahead with a Des run and take the belt off Rocky. He’s wayyyy tooo over ATM. I teamed Mainstream and Primus as Primestream. They won the tag belts.
