I don't suppose anybody could get me with a screenshot of a Match History screen with a 100 rated match? I've started playing around with a skin and I want to see how offcenter a three digit number will look with it.

Iron Clad is what is supposed to prevent that. A written deal that is not Iron Clad can still result in them leaving.

Iron Clad does not prevent workers being poached. I have seen in multiple tests this to be the case sadly.

To be clear I tried making workers Written non Exclusive with Iron Clad. These workers got poached.

Yeah tends to only be when the owner is the same as booker. Any work around for this? Other than different booker to owner.

Attributes play a role in this too. A driven or egomaniac owner is less likely to give up the book.

No idea if this is the right thread, but I have an issue replacing certain workers in my picture folder, certain pictures, like Randy Bumfhole and Frederique are not "accepting" the new renders I put in. I am not getting the "replace" prompt. And when I remove the original render and leave my new one in the folder, a blank character appears. Anyone here have any idea why this would be?

How do you simulate NXT (or other development territories) opening as property of WWE in a pre-2012 mod?

The company is in the database and ready to load in August 2012 but you can't edit in company relationship before they open (but go figure you can set it so people who don't exist in the game world yet are best friends the moment they debut) and the in-game editor doesn't allow company relationship edits.

Am I missing something really obvious or is there a workaround? I could make them property of WWE Network but that's not going to help set it up for developmental workers or fill in the 2012-2014 gap before the network opened. What it will p

Everyone in my "Property Of" list has (broadcaster) after their name, which suggests to me there's supposed to be other options in that list.

Alter egos?

Say for example, I have Cody Rhodes in my database. Stardust is listed as an alter ego with like a 5% chance of occuring. For some reason the database always makes him Stardust. Does Cody Rhodes also need to be added as an alter ego even if it's the actually bio?

I had this issue and put it in the tech section, I thought it was an issue that an owner/booker of 60 skill hired a booker of 40 skill.

It turns out abilities/personalities effect booker skills and Adam PM'ed me a list to work from since I assume he closed/deleted the thread, hopefully this will help.

Thanks!!!

Question for my hardcore mod boiz

Realistically, how much work do you guys think it will be to get a converted mod functional in an acceptable way in 2020? I've been giving it a shot but am a bit overwhelmed by it all and questioning if it's even worth the effort. I mean, it never is worth the effort, but this feels like maybe less so than usual? :D

I am converting one partially-finished mod over (to finish on 2020) and building a from-scratch one on 2020. The conversion doesn't feel too onerous, but its honestly a bit different because I wasn't starting out with a fully function, complete mod on TEW 2016. I had been building it with the realization of what would need to be redone on 2020. So I didn't bother looking at company products at all, etc. I just accepted those, broadcasters, stables, etc, would all have to be redone.

I've limited the amount of testing I've done, but the bit I have done, the results are pretty in-line with expectations. I'm not seeing the AI get wretched grades like some people have seen, which I imagine would be massively frustrating.

Where there particular things you are finding problematic and frustrating? Or just the whole process?

Whole thing is a bit intimidating and confusing, but major issue so far is the promotion size/worker popularity/attendance balancing act as I consider this probably the foundation of any mod.

TEW2016 always had their screwy company sizes (see ECW not being Cult Size) but at least they were based on actual terminology used in wrestling. Attendance was always way too high, now it feels too low even boosting company and worker popularity. Is there any guide to this? and you better bloody not say the Cornelleverse!:p

I don't know if I lucked out, but I have found the balance to be relatively solid so far. Plenty of testing and tweaking to come, but things are fairly stable off the top. But I am mostly looking at the company pop - worker pop - results dynamic. I have never focused overtly on the attendances. I get why some want those to be on-point, and in previous versions, I feel like it helped moreso in regard to get the financials right. But between the financials breakdown being visible for each company and more financial controls available, I've really just focused on trying to get the companies and workers in the right areas. The perception system also helps in this regard, I find, because if I see a company has a heap of Major Stars, I realize quickly that something is probably off in the balance between company and worker popularity, or vice versa. </p><p> </p><p> When you converted the data over, did you find the balances were off and grades were off as a result?</p>

Any guidance on where to actually start with a blank database?

I have an idea for a small fantasy mod I'd like to do from scratch. I've been reading the handbook and playing the game with a few different companies to try and understand the products better and their relationship to workers.

But when you have nothing in a new database, what is the first thing you do?

Create companies? Fully create the companies with product / money / popularity or just the shell and come back later?

Create workers? Again with stats and popularity fully fleshed out then create the companies?

I know there will be a lot of tinkering regardless where you begin and that seems to be a lot of what you are doing on the front end if you are importing a mod (not that this isn't difficult and creative in itself) but again, I'm looking at a blank database and wondering how to start the workload for a fantasy mod.

Hello,

I would like to add photos that I made myself on the game, in order to make everything more aesthetic I would need the background to use on the photos that you use for your databases could you send it to me?

thanks you

Oh how I'd love to use something else, however I've painted myself into a corner by continuing it and now I just cannot be bothered to have to build a pack from scratch.

I know it was one of the most used background for such a long time, do you still maintain your photobucket with all the kyky cuts? I know I used it a lot back in the day.

Take a fantasy mod, create a mdb for it and then pull that in to excel. From there, add a column for "New Name" for absolutely every table you get and then rename everything. So long as you tweak a few stats per worker from there, edit every bio or profile and move promotions around, nobody will know. That's just in my humble opinion...it'd definitely be less work than starting from scratch.

I do believe you can create from templates for some things, not tested it. So you could do that here and there, whilst selecting to go with organic bios or whatever the term is for bios that are written as the game plays.

From scratch, you'd need to understand how every possible size of promotion would be configured and even with what the preferred roster size of an owner would be. Small with medium is different to other levels. I suppose build your world on paper, i.e how many workers you want, roles and where your however many promotions will be. TV...venues...by this point I'm probably putting you off the idea completely.

couple questions.

i have converted a 1996 mod from tew2016:

1. how do i stop the big componies from making millions a week in ticket sales?

2. the AI companies are creating hundreds of random tag teams, is there any way to stop that?
