Does anyone have rough numbers of what attendance a company should get at a show run in a certain area? Or has anyone crunched those numbers somewhere?

For example: WCCW could get an attendance in Texas of 18,000 for a big show, and around 4,000 for TV and smaller Texas shows. So what would their Mid-South popularity be?

Not in front of the game but I believe drawing that size crowd would be 63-65 pop

Did someone make a mod for more varied injuries? I seem to remember seeing it a while back but I could be wrong, or maybe it was on TEW2016?

Sockpuppet has one that's really good. It's in the Mod Index Thread towards the bottom of the opening post.

Future Titles

When creating a database, is there any way to have titles in AI companies that aren't active from the start? For example, my database starts in 1995, Taz didn't debut his FTW title until 1998. I don't want to defend it before that time, but still want to make sure it appears in game. Can't see anything in titles or narratives, and in game editor won't let you do it manually. Running into the same problem setting a date on tv shows and events that don't start immediately as well.

You can add it as a retired title and the AI may make it active down the road, but theres no way to guarantee it.

I have been considering making a "mod" consisting of data that can be freely used for other people's modern-day mods. It would include only deceased workers and defunct companies, in an attempt to flesh out the world a significant amount and give it a sense of "history". What are the considerations that should be made for such a mod, aside from workers and companies? For example, would movesets be particularly necessary given that all workers are deceased?

I have a question about venues. What makes a venue a 'hotbed' for the purposes of a mod? I know what it is in real life (ECW Arena, American Legion Hall in Reseda, Tokyo Dome, etc.), but I'm struggling to determine what makes a venue a 'hotbed' versus having high importance.

For example, Allstate Arena in Chicago. WWE runs all their TV and PPVs there when they run Chicago and they've had very memorable shows there in the past. Is it considered a hotbed? Or does it just have high importance because they run it so often?

I think it's better to see it seperate. Importance is what MSG is all about. It's not a hotbed. The responses the crowd might do are probably due to circumstance, not because it's "MSG".

A hotbed is what you think it is. Crowds being vocal and letting their opinions be known. From a gameplay perspective crapmatches will get a worse rating because of it. I think the positive is mainly attendance or a slightly improved rating? It's in the manual.

@Idolized: That is so true. The dangers of modding.

@Skycrasher: Adding deceased workers and companies won't do much. You can refer to them in narratives and use the images, but it's all just fluff. Titles can be acquired, but that's about it. So you're not really fleshing it out, only adding more clutter. This would only be significant for fictional universes. People can research actual history, so you don't need to waste your time incorporating it, especially movesets.

I am thinking about combining Cornellverse, Thunderverse, and a good RW mod into one huge universere.

1. Does this sound crazy or crazy fun?

2. Anyone know how in God's name I would do it?

I probably wouldnt add RW myself, but to do it all in theory should be fairly simple

Download the databases. Pick 1 as the base and import stuff from the other 2 in the correct order (that info is about)

Of course all the pics will have to be in one folder

Obviously the more info, the 'slower' the game

Ok. I'm having difficulty finding the correct order in which to import the other stuff. Where can I find that?

Every database (at least C-verse ones) should have an order in the description.

As the three universes you name are mutually exclusive, it doesn't matter which one you import first. But I would advice to import everything category by category and not mod by mod.

Generally you first need companies and then workers as that serves as a reference for most other things like lineages and relationships. Maybe do narratives last.

As for the concept of mashing those together. If you like it, go for it. It depends on the creators. If they use the same stat spread as the core db, it shouldn't be a problem. But I assume some might attribute the stats lower, in order to keep things interesting.

Can anyone tell me how to open a picture file in a new databases' picture file? I can only drag the entire file into the new window and all the pictures remain in the file. I need to crack it open so all the pictures spill out and join the other pictures. Appreciate any help.

Select all the picture files, broadcasters, logos, etc

Right click->copy

Go to the picture folder you want to use and then right click->paste

It'll ask if you want to merge the folders, yes you do

Bro you are the man. Are you also man enough to answer another one?!?!?!

I am importing a RW mod into a a new database, and companies are being loaded without their owners active, so the companies just sit there, empty. Does this have something to do with the order in which I import the stuff?

Does Anyone have an updated to 2020 DOTT mod?

I don't know if I should ask here or elsewhere, but I was looking to convert the DOTT mod and it said to open it in 2016 first. Unfortunately, 2016 was two laptops ago, and I was wondering if anyone else had done the legwork and converted it to 2020 or even had fixed it in 2016 so it could be converted?

I have been doing multiverse saves like this since 2005 and they are always my longest games. I am 5 years into a TV, CV, RW multiverse save in 2020 and it is the most fun I have had with this game.

Load times can get pretty long but I watch wrestling or browse the web while it loads.
