Yeah, spelling error on my part. I shall fix it for next release. Many thanks.

Another quick update to the Diablo X progression and how I'm getting along. You can expect at least 3 new promotions in the next edition of the data. Looking to have this out mid-March (14th - 21st), sorry I can't give a specific date but it depends on life.

Version 9.0 (Very Nice, Very Evil Edition)

Note: Wrestlers in WWS do not have their real ages. This is because it is several era's smashed together so most are either in their prime but younger than they would be in 2016 in real life.

With regards to the '92 mod, should Herb Abrams's UWF be set to Modern Throwback for a product? It was a throwback, but it was very much not a promotion that put a lot of emphasis on work-rate which seems to contrast with Modern Throwback's description of including the style and workrate of the modern era. Even by 92 standards the actual wrestling on that show was pretty lackluster. Classic Sports Entertainment might be better?

New Release

Below is the new update for the Diablo X mod.

QAQ0jSt.jpg

VERY NICE, VERY EVIL EDITION

Version 9.0 (Released 13/03/2022)

DATA - >>DOWNLOAD<<

PICTURES - >>DOWNLOAD<<

Returning to the roots of my original mod, this is the data that started it all in terms of fantasy booking - Rebuilt. Games, Comics, Anime & Cartoons collide in a Universe so diverse, it really is for anyone. Whether you want to destroy the PWE as Skeletor, or save it as He-Man. Whether the Turtles will triumph over Shredder or Bebop and Rocksteady become the new threat in MAE. The only limit is your imagination. Nostalgia and Modern times smash into one another to create DiabloX. So enjoy!

There will be an update to the 1992 data at the weekend some point. It's not a massive update really, just some things I noticed needing adding/fixing myself. There will be a few new workers added (mainly yet to debut wrestlers) as well as a couple more training facilities.

I am about 5 months into my 1992 save that I started with update 1.6. The next round of updates aren't severe enough that I should restart??

Not really. The updates are mainly for my own games at this point but I just upload them in case people want them (or want to import the additional workers). Below is what I've done so far and I don't envisage much more being done before Saturday/Sunday.

Added (Workers)

--------------------------

Azazel (Debut 1993)

Bernard Funk (Debut 1993)

Brandon Bishop (Debut 1993)

Brian Logan (Debut 1993)

Osamu Matsunami (Debut 1993)

Roy Wood (Retired)

La Hija del Zarzy (Debut 1993)

Derek Stone (Debut 1993)

Espiritu Maligno (Debut 1993)

Pete Madden (Debut 1993)

Miss Fantasy (Debut 1993)

John Diamond (Debut 1993)

Kenichi Yamamoto (Debut 1994)

Stacy Hunter (Debut 1994)

John Slaughter (Debut 1994)

Joseph Slaughter (Debut 2000)

Sharon Lee (Debut 1994)

Durango Kid (Debut 1994)

Amy Action (Debut 1995)

Briana Brandy (Debut 2019)

Jessie Bennett (Debut 1995)

El Canelo (Debut 1995)

Titanik (Debut 1995)

Blade Boudreaux (Debut 1995)

John Toland (Debut 2000)

Chad Wicks (Debut 2000)

-----------------------------------------

Added (Companies/Training)

-----------------------------------------

Training Facility - Aspull Olympic Wrestling Club

Training Facility - Rileys Gym Kyoto (2007)

Training Facility - CZW Academy (1999)

-------------------------------

Fixes/Misc Additions

-------------------------------

Tony St. Clair given 6 month deal with NJPW

Added Golden Boys Tag Team (Steven Regal & Robbie Brookside) Inactive Unit (ASWUK)

Some financial tweaking to a few companies

Removed US/Japan/Canada/Mexico etc... Popularity for UK workers who had not yet appeared outside of Europe

A few more Employment Histories added

Switched graduation to off as default for Training Facilities so the early game isn't swamped with regens. These can be turned back on via in game editor if you wish.

Tag Team Names - Tried to use area specific names.

WWF Superstars renamed WWF Superstars of Wrestling and set to 1 hour length (did not become WWF Superstars until April 1992)

WWF Saturday Night's Main Event XXX and WWF Saturday Night's Main Event XXXI added to Jan & Oct 1992 schedule as 90 minute Lesser Events on NBC that will go Dormant once held.

Fixed Phil Powers debut (1993)

Removed Durango Kid from Histeria alter egos (It is actually his brother who wrestled under the Durango Kid mask)

Niebla Roja given masked Picture and mask set to New

UWF Product change

There is going to be a delay on the 1992 update as I have decided to create a free images pack to go along with it. Below is how the free pics are coming along. I want 200 images before I release it. This is a mix of Google images and Random image generators.

<p>I don't know if you set the TBS broadcaster size at Medium for a reason for a reason so if you did just lemme know. I know sometimes you gotta set broadcasters at weird sizes just for balance issues. </p><p> </p><p>

But for '92, TBS is set as "Medium" size which seems to limit the growth of WCW quite a bit by limiting the # of viewers. For comparison, USA is set to Big even though in '92 USA was only in 200k more homes than TBA. 58.2m to 58m. At least per this old article from the Chicago Tribune. Should the broadcaster size maybe be increased to allow WCW to grow? </p><p> </p><p>

Try this. Generates real faces and fairly customizable. If you go to the Faces tab, it will generate multiple similar faces. I want an Executive Producer credit if used. LOL. I'm kidding, just wanted some cheap fame on the board, but I got that site from another post on here, I believe. If you want, I can play around with it, and submit some to you. If you have set criteria you are looking for, check out the options and give me some guidelines and I will generate some based on that. Would love to help with one of your amazing mods.

It's a good site, I've been using it alongside a couple of other generators for this pack. I've literally just uploaded the Beta version of the pack (200 pics) if you'd like to submit some for the pack that would be great, thanks. The naming is simple (the letter in the name represents the ethnicity so W = White, B = Black, A = Asian etc.... ). It just makes it easier to create the file this way.

Beta Release 22/03/2022

Free Pictures (200 pictures)

This is plug and play so you can import it to your own games/databases with relative ease.

I'll have the 1992 data up soon but I have a few things to do on it quickly first.

92 mod. I noticed some active wrestlers have 0 in Experience even if they have been active for several years. This includes Steve Austin, which is why I noticed in the first place.

Also noticed that a few workers have no in ring stats at all, but most of them have not debuted yet.

The workers with no in ring stats are:

El Intocable

Fred La Merveille

Lizzy Borden

Maria Kanellis

Ronnie Roberts

Stacy Keibler

Thunder Boy (active at start)

TJ Boy

Torrie Wilson

Loving the mod so far.

Thanks for the feedback. I've fixed both issues and uploaded a new version with fixes to no experience and no stats for anyone who wants it.
