I'd consider Johnny Martin (the face of DAVE and winner of the East Coast Wars) and Dread (one of the greatest big man workers of all time, and a world champion in SWF, TCW, BHOTWG, and GCG) pretty major. Shawn Gonzalez's son Marco, and Original Sinner, the son of (of all people) Primal Rage, though...

I really appreciate the volume of new workers (not specifically second-generation ones) in this database... I've felt as though the last couple installments have been kind of low on new workers (except as part of new promotions), so to have this many is great.

But I'm more excited about the new managers that have been added. In prior editions, the only real manager additions have mainly come from the ranks of the retired wrestlers, like when BSC folded. Now there are a plethora of young managers who are simply that. Of course, you have at least one manager who is now a full-time wrestler (no spoilers) and that shocked me but it's a good shock. I'm always a heavy user of managers and it's going to be cool to not have to have one manager for 10-15 workers (because let's face it, many of the default workers aren't very good on the stick and fast growth tends to exacerbate that problem). I have completely fallen for February Malaise, Shandi, and DeAnna Desire. I especially LOVE how QAW has basically been changed to be.....exactly how I've run them for years (Stable focused, heavy lucha, with an almost telenovela-like presentation).

Oh, and COMMISSIONER BOMB! That's what the rerenders are for, dude. Some outstanding work on there. Search in the 16' section for one. I'm transferring my 16's pic pack across. Love the C-Verse but the renders created by the community bring it to life and inspire creativity for me.

Oh believe me man, I know. I've got thousands of them in my folder. Was just hoping one of them would have become his default this year.

I like the merger of NOTBW with CGC, i think that was necessary. The only downside of this is that basically the Decolts and Stone's are not really part of that promotion other than in a road worker capacity with an exception of a couple. Lucy also will pop up at the end of the year.

My biggest disappointments:

GCG going down. They were one of the oldest promotions out there, i hate when history is wiped out.

AAA going out. I was expecting the womens wrestling to get a boost, basically the opposite happened.

I do not like that Japan got weakened, but i guess it was expected to happen. Japan and USA are basically the only regions i ever play.

India.......................basically India is not done at all. There is a couple of promotions planned to pop up and a School and that is it. I was expecting at least something to be there.

Is anyone else happy that that Regular Joe finally has a job with a major company? I always use him as an opener, so it's fun to see he kinda made it.

I missed this and I'm pleased!

I have an enormous soft spot for Joe. He's a champion for me in a 2016 game I have rolling right now.

It seems I'm in line with many of you for this 2020 C-Verse. There are many points of the database who could be seriously improved

- the Women's wrestling scene who frankly needed to have a serious boost is possibly even worse with the end of AAA, and then you add the facts there is still nothing in places like UK, Australia or Mexico, and only one promotion in Japan (when you compare to RW Databases, The C-Verse Joshi is pretty lifeless ,well, it also counts for T-Verse or Londonverse if we talk about fantasy mods)

-Canada is now pretty empty, especially for mens above lightweight, the big fusion is not a problem, the end of 4C, however... It means now we have no promotion based in places like Ontario or Vancouver, and ACPW now in Quebec with less than 1/3 of their workers speaking French...

-UK is a bit better with a third promotion (even if it's ROF 2.0) but still a more traditional promotion would not hurt the scene, neither an Irish one of any style.

-The Tsunami in Japan was bound to make some damage, but I admit the lack of deathmatch promotion in Japan, hurt the scene a bit in terms of options (same with the lack of hardcore promotion in Mexico)

-And Europe, that's my pet peeve in the database, especially as an European, personally neither EWA or UEW should exist now, like they currently are.

Ah, and there are many locations in the database who are not placed in the good region. But I don't know where I can post these in the forum.

APW in Australia seems to have a pretty deep roster than in 2016.

There are some key guys that were let go by RAW that can help you grow, with one being the clear best worker you can get.

Also of note, a few guys on RAW are just on handshake deals (mostly unknown guys) and if you would like could work for you as well.

Overall, APW looks like a fun promotion to build.

If it's recorded, depending on who recorded it, it will always stand. Workers that GCG developed will always be part of GCG's legacy. But there have to be SOME consequences to a major world event (tsunami) or else it means nothing from a narrative perspective. Infinity War would've meant nothing without the snap, for example.

Speaking on the women's wrestling scene, AAA needed to die. It's been treading water for FIVE TEW installments now. Poop or get off the pot, is my view. Nothing's stopping a human player from re-starting them. And um, nothing in Mexico? Did I miss OLLIE and CILL closing their women's divisions? I think it's addition by subtraction. With the addition of independent shows, unemployed workers have MORE than enough opportunity to work and develop so there's no need for one staid, stick in the mud promotion that the AI doesn't even TRY to grow. Adding to that the fact that more North American promotions than ever have added in-ring roles for women, that compounds the fact that AAA has outlived its usefulness. I, for one, am absolutely ecstatic with how the women's scene has changed and evolved. I may not even have to add ~200 young workers to the default database to simulate a scene poised to bubble up over the next decade! Well, maybe a few offscreen roles (there's still no Fuka equivalent, though Honey Golightly is still available to be brought back).
