However, to hardcore fans he is far better known for his work in PSW under his real name. Working for the east coast group he was able, for the first time, to really showcase what a fantastic grappler he was and as a result became a major star for them. After seven years he would finally leave PSW when he couldn't resist the big money contract that USPW offered him, although at nearly forty years of age many wonder if that wasn't a sign that he was simply looking for one last money-spinning run before retirement.</div></blockquote>

I'm curious.

Would it be possible to have a feature where you change the year of the default data to the past and it automatically register/create the employment/contracts/title reigns/promotions in existence?

Since all of that is in the given data, you would think that it could possibly be done.

I like playing the 2010 data, but hate the fact that all of the new workers/personas aren't available.

Something that may have been said, but I may have missed that I really like is how many people are working for multiple companies in the CVerse now. There are a lot of guys pulling double (and some triple) duty -- which I love. When you see guys like Jayson Van Pelt working all over the world, makes my little heart happy.

Absolutely! And there are 37 workers with the 'world traveler' attribute, which is very encouraging for the future. I even ask workers who are US/CAN only to work in Mexico so they can pick up CILL and/or OLLIE as well.

<p>have the names of any workers been altered in the default data for 2020 from 2016?</p><p>

this probably a question most easily answered by adam but im wondering if i could just do a mass import of the 2020 worker data to my 2016 converted database without the issue of creating duplicate workers with different names</p>

This is really cool - guys like Justice, Baine, Dean Daniels who are approaching the end of their in-ring career but now working as road agents definitely add to the feeling of progress in the world.

I'm more thinking how it's really neat that Farrah Hesketh can be a road agent, a ref, and do color commentary all on one show.

Agree with Remianen...Daz 3D Studio for originals (you can at least do the basics for free without having to purchase extra assets) and I use GIMP (basically a free photoshop knockoff) to do alts.

I've used GIMP for very basic pics, just downsizing them to fit into the game. But other than that I've struggled understanding how to change existing pics of people, cropping, creating logos, etc.

I think there might be a render tutorial in one of the TEW mod forums. I forget which though.

EDIT: Found it. By Trell: http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=144099

Oh and LoNdOn's video tutorials on YouTube:

But there are some DAZ resources on the Re-Render MEGA account here.

Searching around for a new promotion to try out, and am overwhelmed by how gigantic all of the rosters are. If you're running one show a month, why do you need 40 wrestlers? I can't get my head around who's who.

Almost feels like Adam did all of the fun hiring for us.

The rosters seem REALLY big this time around, yeah. They're nearly all way over the minimum size requirement.

Pretty happy with the shakeup so far, makes the database quite different compared to 16 and thus interesting to play as after 4 years of non-stop gaming and several saves, I'd started to feel like I had done everything I wanted to do in that world and every new save felt repetitive. Having these starting screens to summarize what's happened in every region was a nice introduction too and I can see the feature getting some good use in mods.

USA

Never really bothered with the major promotions myself, but I did notice some big retirements (most mentioned already). Operation Lullaby and the IRS didn't discover any financial dirt in SWF, but they found a ton of other dirty stuff that forced ol' man Eisen into retirement. Seeing MAW become TCW's feeder league gives it an interesting spin and I'm curious how much longer they can keep COTT going. So glad to see my favourite GSW around and going strong, while IPW have lost Nemesis. Women's Wrestling took a hit with the shock closure of AAA, but QAW are expanding and several others like CZCW have introduced Women's Divisions.

Canada

The big news is NOTBPW and CGC merging to form CWA yawn. In somewhat more interesting news, 4C streched themselves into bankruptcy and now ACPW is the hot new alternative, with women (integrated matches too, if I recall correctly). Still no anti-establishment hardcore promotions around though, wonder when someone will finally tap into that audience that wants to raise a big middle finger to the Stones and DeColts.

Mexico

Champagne Lover went to shoot movies, Jorge Ibanez passed and SOTBPW rebranded itself into EILL. They're still the powerhouse, with OLLIE looking more and more ancient. CILL are trying to invest in Women's Wrestling, trading talent heavily with QAW across the border. My most loved change is EMLL going full Lucha Underground and creating its own universe of heroes and storylines. If ZEN are ripping of Saturday morning cartoons, EMLL get inspiration from Punisher and Spawn comics.

Japan

What the... So the tsunami from the 2016 game is canon and it turned things upside down. GCG finally tapped out, WEXXV closed and left a huge void in the deathmatch scene and despite the hints of shady investors, it was not EXODUS2010 but WLW that were revealed to be connected to the yakuza. This means the Modern Japan Movement is dead and buried, westen schedules are no longer considered cool and everyone's doing tours again. Black Canvas are the clear winners here, having not only survived but growing steadily and landing a broadcast deal too. In PGHW and BHOTWG, all of the old guard retired and it's make or break with their successors having to step up.

UK

21CW still rules all, SNP is still around, the big news is Championship Wrestling from Wigan bringing back ye ol' Ring of Fire British Strong Style.

Europe

I have to say, this is the Region I'm mostly disappointed with, as the only thing that happened was that all 3 promotions simply grew a bit. No one closed, no new promotions opened. I was really hoping for an all-female promotion spearheaded by ladies like Jeri Behr, Aud Valkyrie and Thea Davis, but I guess that's up to players to create if they want to.

Oceania

Another pretty static region from what I've seen so far, I'm just glad ZEN and DIW haven't called it quits yet.
