Arber
I am working on a skin for myself to use within TEW2020 because I like to have a little colour to break the screen up, as well as clean lines. Important: There is no ETA for this skin. Please do not ask. The answer will be 'I don't know'. Thank you. The good news is that skinning has become 100x easier with the reduction of graphical buttons. Hopefully this won't take very long. Progress: 91 / 341 backgrounds (as of 25th April 2020) / 26.7% Workers screen Office screen
Hollywood
Thank you so much! This looks a lot better than what we have right now and probably won’t give me a headache!
aXminster
This skin looks great! I'm looking forward to using it.
FINisher
Fantastic work. Any tips on how to edit the images? I've done multiple skins for previous games but I'm struggling with this one due to the weird pixelation around the edges of the buttons and windows. They are rounded corners with a drop shadow. Just because you can’t easily magic wand the background away, doesn’t make it weird.

Try placing a new shape over top of the current shape and use the established skin as a guide for where to place things.

For this skin, every graphic is created from scratch and as you say, moved into place.

Arber
That is so much better I can't even put it into words. Thanks, but I wouldn't say it is 'so much better'. Just different. The original skin artist has done great work.
PFElton
Holy crap does this help. If the font could be increased by 1 we may have an -acceptable- solution on our hands.
Brushfire
This looks really great, mate. It's amazing what the removal of all the straight white lines being replaced with smoother, more complimentary colours does for the eyes.

Von Dozier
Love it, the rounded buttons, and especially getting rid of those damn white line brackets everywhere, lol. Good stuff!
Arber
More progress this morning: Worker skills screen Worker skills comparison screen All the worker screens are almost complete at this stage now. Progress has been much quicker than with previous versions of TEW, thanks to the buttons being simplified.
Arber
I've just spent some time re-doing the buttons. Making them pop a little more and adding a slight shadow around them.

Self
Beautiful. I love it.

I don't know if it's just because the colour scheme is more familiar, that it makes the new game feel less strange and alien... but regardless, it's really cool.

Also the buttons look like buttons. I have not started the website yet - I've got the entirety of the worker screens done now, though, so will move onto that next.
