I could use a little bit of help.

 

I am trying to create an AI company that is solely for serialized tv only, much like Lucha Underground. However, I can't quite figure out how to get it right. I set the company to have the season schedule and gave them a tv show. They tape the show and then do 2 -3 generate events a week. I just want them to run their tv show only, from September through May.

 

Maybe I'm overlooking something, but I just can't get it to work.

Maybe take a look at how RAW is set up in the default database as it's roughly the same idea with a TV only focus.

If I give a touring company a broadcast deal, with Tour Highlights turned off, and no tv show added... will that Network show all my tours or just my normal events?

Tours are only broadcasted on tour highlight deals, any deal you add without a tv show selected defaults to events only..

Go to roster select worker a click arrow that I marked on screen and you will see contract page

 

 

 

Hi, in full version of TEW 20 in office menu I don't have right side buttons like in trial game, is there a way to set this buttons on office screen? To get the effect of second screenshot I placed the link of?

Is there any advantage nowadays to using "ladder" matches? It doesn't seem to add anything to match quality (which makes sense) and it only seems to increase worker injuries.

I can't search for this one because of the search filters on the forums, but is there any way to remove TV Shows that are off air? My mod came with a half-dozen off air TV shows and I'd like to clean that area up if possible.

Did they ever add mouse wheel support to every screen? Do I need to change preferences to access it or is it just not there?

If you are in-game go to the editor and select workers and change it that way. To change the one in the contract got to the editor and pick contracts in the drop-down menu and search for the worker.

I think it might depend on size and/or perception level. I get road agent or spider sense ("You sense that....") popups for people with 64 psychology so there has to be more to it.

Is there a logic to post event speeches or is it more or less luck? Do avatar talents play a role?

I was wondering if anyone knows what all exactly goes into the power 500 and wrestler of the year awards? I’m assuming it’s a formula involving average match ratings plus the highest rated match or something.

 

The reason I ask is doesn’t this put Japanese companies at a huge disadvantage? The tour shows will cause lower match ratings because the wrestlers don’t try as hard and kill their averages even if they are way better than others who are just on TV all the time. I noticed this on my PGHW save when Kozue Kawashima was my highest rated guy at about 20 I think and 21CW had I want to say about 7 or 8 different guys in the top 20 (away from computer atm but this is vaguely what I remember it being). Also most other guys from my company moved backwards in the ratings, I’m assuming because of their activity on tour shows.

Yes. On the workers screen filter the list. If you want anyone available to hire set the purpose field to "To Hire". If you want people not employed anywhere, filter the company they work for to "Unemployed".

Angles?

 

Hi! New to TEW this year and still figuring everything out, looked through the manual but I either couldn't find the right section or am a little confused about the given explanation - also tried using the search function to see if this had been answered already but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for;

 

I have a few questions about the way that angles affect things like popularity and momentum.

 

1. Does storyline success have any effect on pop/momentum gain? As in if I determine that someone in an angle has a 'Major Success' - does that make any distinguishable difference than just 'Neutral'?

 

2. If someone is 'Not rated' in an angle - do they see any of the benefits of the angle i.e. pop/momentum gain?

 

3. Is it possible to build the popularity/momentum of someone 'off screen' before they debut? i.e the Fiend Video packages before his first match?

 

A separate question unrelated to angles -

 

Can a worker lose pop if they have a low rated match, even if they win?

I have had Lucha Bros winning the majority of their matches against Unrecognisable/Recognisable teams, but rather than Reys popularity going up, its dropping significantly. (Is also in a storyline considered 'hot' and hasn't been affected by any bad press.)
