tannerfiasco Posted May 19, 2020 Share Posted May 19, 2020 2 months into an AEW game with the killing the business mod, Jericho notifies me that hes willing to put Sammy Guevera over twice in the next 4 months, same day announces he going on tour in 3 months. Leave it to Jericho to give back to the business before riding off into the sunset (not sure if I'll bring him back after the tour, considering moving away from the older WWE heads and not going the TNA route.) Sammy and company staging a mutiny and Sammy and Jericho having a loser leaves the company match to send Jericho off on his tour if what direction I'll likely go in moving forward. Dorian Posted May 19, 2020 Share Posted May 19, 2020 While I'm working on my created federation and a second playthrough (October, wee) I'm currently in my 5th month of negative money (please don't let me go bankrupt) and had the two weirdest thing happen. 21CW just let Tommy Cornell walk with USPW picking him up. Which I found wild, because I wouldn't've thought 21CW would let Tommy go. The other is that CWA is in even worse shape than I am at the moment. They had to renegotiate their PPV contract when they industry was in the absolute toilet, and for the past year they've been pulling in $1m less a month on a new contract than they were on the last. They've been losing anywhere from $300k to $600k a month. Right now they're sitting on a fat $1m debt. Luckily if they go under, ACPW is ready to take their place in a few years. They're growing steadily on a Wrestleworld contract. I love that broadcaster, because it actually lets small promotions grow. I'm really hoping that in long term games we'll see things like MAW or ACPW become major players, which pretty much never happened in older versions of the game. So it'll just be a simple matter of adding Brazzle to LMP's existing storyline (with Modesty Pador), having Brazzle run-in to save Modesty from a post-match beatdown leading to a match where Brazzle beats LMP for the title, holds it for a bit and then drops it back to her (and then LMP will drop it to Modesty). I think the unpredictability in the game (such as injuries, hiatuses/music tours/going to shoot a movie/fight in an MMA match, having to send a worker to rehab) which forces you to change your original booking plans has always been the best thing about TEW for most people, and the promise system deepens the experience even further. The lost broadcasting deal, Allen Packer quit then came back as owner, and they are now small size. With only south east region high as 74. Everywhere else is 5-15 in US. With USPW fall, SWF is DOMINATING the game. The only US two big stars they don't have are Steve Frehley & Aaron Andrews. EVERYONE else is at SWF. I mean everyone both Cornells, Velocidad. 180 active wrestlers on roster. Over 220 mil in the bank and sign up everyone.
