smartman Posted August 4, 2020 Share Posted August 4, 2020 I installed this mod last night. First impression--this mod is HUGE. Like seriously freaking HUGE. Like every game day results in about 100 news stories HUGE. It's a little overwhelming. I assume I'll get used to it as I get deeper into my save. I think next time I start a WOTI game, I may consider turning off some of the areas in the game world. That said, it's great to play this again. I started a game as NWA, and I've got Dusty set to battle Race, Steamboat/Flair, Midnight/RnR and all that old school goodness going on. One error--you have a picture of Steven Regal (not the British guy, the other one) in place of Tommy Rich. Thanks for all the work you've put in on this mod. Much appreciated. Oh shoot, I forgot to mention that. Actually, it's Steve Keirn that is labeled as the default Tommy Rich pic. The other couple of Rich pics are of him. Chikbot Posted August 7, 2020 Share Posted August 7, 2020 <p>Hey, so I know the mod is still in beta but GLOW has only 5 workers...I wouldn't think that was intentional considering a lot of their mainstays didn't work for anyone else.</p><p> </p><p> Maybe also make an alliance between GLOW and WOW or make them sister companies considering they have the same owner non-game mechanically.</p><p> </p><p> Also in a different factor of women's wrestling, I'm surprised Reggie Bennett isn't in the mod. Considering she was one of the most popular gaijin joshis in the 90s, she seems like a bit of a hole with her non existence.</p><p> </p><p> Maybe you should focus on this sort of stuff instead of adding random euro promotions. I mean, WWEU doesn't have an owner. Quality is always better than quantity. But at the end of the day, this is your mod. I did the mod conversion for play the day the retail version was released, and am now ready to start fresh with this release! Keep up the great work! * Is there a way to set matches to feature only certain traits? The AI likes to book my main eventers in Lingerie matches, and I don't think that Monday Night Wars era WCW fans wanted to see Hulk and Goldberg and Sting in such a fashion...I mean, maybe, I'm not judging, just implying a default setting as applies to the context of the mod etc... Because of this post, I went poking around, and now I know how to use alternate pictures in the game. Thanks for that!</p><p> </p><p> Now my biggest issue is getting some babyfaces over enough to beat Flair. He's way more over than anyone else on the roster...like 90 popularity across the board in the US, with 100! in Mid Atlantic. No one else has cracked 80 yet--Dusty, Steamboat, Magnum, etc....but that's just basic gameplay. I'm only about 6 weeks into this save. First, you need to bring enough eye bleach for all of us if you're going to use images like that. Second, the only solution is to go into the editor and set every non-basic match to not be a default match. The AI only uses default matches. I wish the AI was a hell of a lot smarter with that as I'm not sure what chaos that'll cause with ECW (you could set the more standard hardcore matches as default too but the auto-booker will grab them too and Hogan doesn't do thumbtacks, brother.) or GLOW. If i am too strict on myself, working only on certain parts, i lose motivation and nothing gets done. Also, Jan, can we get a picture of CM Punk in the Nexus / 2011 Prime. Didn't have too many to choose from. Maybe one of Moxley during his 2016 feud with Lesnar would look nice too.
