<p>Great show! Your first events were a bit lacking in the storyline department, but you've got that part rolling right now. I'm really curious to see what you're going to do with Logan Diaz, because I could imagine that you want him to be Ernie's challenger for as long as possible, but at the same time I also can't imagine that you want to put the title on anyone else at this point in time - after all, considering the reports about how aggressively the AI is poaching workers away from the indies, you should milk that guy for as long as possible.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Ernie's securing you company growth, and he can do that best as the champ. Way too early to take the title away from him.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>I'm kinda banking on Rhino Umaga once again being a d*ck backstage which could potentially make you reconsider the outcome of this match at the last second. After all, you want your champions to be somewhat reliable.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Chip Martin looks to Summit Pro Wrestling for a start

nzz0LhE.jpg

The young and hungry Chip Martin has signed with Jack Bruce's Summit Pro Wrestling and will be debuting for the promotion at The Rising Monster in three weeks.

Chip Martin is the 20-year old son of east coast wrestling legend Johnny Martin. The elder Martin is best known for his long and glorified career in Dave and Violence Extreme (DAVE), where he won every singles championship the company offered. 2x DAVE Unified, 2x Brass Knuckles, 4x DAVE Extreme.

Being the offspring of a Tri-State icon, Chip Martin has very high expectations. Judging from his limited archive of matches, he may very well exceed those expectations. He is about 20 pounds heavier than his father ever was, and others consider him a fitness fanatic, always staying in great shape and looking like a star. He is by all accounts a true professional as well. His rare combination of talent, charisma, looks, and professional attitude are the perfect recipe for a star in the making.

Chip’s first SPW match will be against The Masked Mauler VII, who is also turning heads in New York. Mauler’s strange messages and alliance with the big man Justice Jolson are still unexplained. First aligning in March, the duo that calls themselves “The Hurt Business” recently disposed of Keith Vegas and Dead Man Walken at the first ever Immortal Summit. Now seemingly done with those two, what comes next is still a mystery, as is everything else about them.

All we know now is that SPW’s The Rising Monster show in June will play host to Chip Martin vs. The Masked Mauler VII.

TotalExtremeWrestling.com has received a statement from COTT President
Sam Keith
that the alliance will be introducing a brand new championship title! Named the
COTT North American Championship
, the belt will find its first winner at Summit Pro Wrestling’s Upstate Uprising event in July.

The statement from Sam Keith can be read below in its entirety:

“The Confederation of the Territories is happy to announce that we are introducing a new championship, named the COTT North American Championship, this July at Summit Pro Wrestling’s Upstate Uprising. Each of our six members will nominate a competitor from their roster to represent them in a six-way match. The winner of the contest will be expected to perform the same duties required of the COTT World Heavyweight Champion and the COTT World Tag Team Champions. He will travel to all of our members’ show if requested to and will represent the alliance as one of its best and brightest talents.

We are confident that the COTT North American Championship will add to the already-rich history of our great alliance.”

When we reached out to Summit Pro Wrestling owner Jack Bruce, he had the following to say:

“We here at SPW are very thankful that Sam Keith and the COTT have bestowed the honor of crowning the first ever COTT North American Champion at our show, Upstate Uprising. We believe that the match will showcase some of the best professional wrestlers across the continent. We will announce our competitor in the coming days, as will all other members. This new championship will only strengthen the bond that the alliance members share with one another, and will demonstrate our desire to bring the best professional wrestling we can to our amazing fans.”

  • 3 weeks later...

Hi fellas!

After a long couple weeks with work and also trying to understand the game better with other mods and saves, I plan on having another show up by Thursday-ish!

I have a few awesome storyline ideas that I want to tell, one of which will help explain what Mauler is doing in SPW.

I'm also looking at switching up the format. I know it's rather simple as it is, but I want to be able to bang out shows at a much faster pace while still keeping a good presentation. I'll be looking around the board for some ideas and hopefully come up with my own unique style.

I encourage anyone who enjoys this to leave predictions for the next show! If you haven't read any of this dynasty yet, just start from the beginning, it won't take very long :)

I make the talent arrive at 5pm. Some come before, but all are there on time. It’s a pretty standard rule in pro wrestling. In the times of social media, the fans know this as well. </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> I say this because there always seems to be one a**hole fan who wants to ruin everything for the rest. Quentin Queen, new signee by the way, posted a Snapchat picture of himself eating at a restaurant in White Plains where the show is, and a “fan” of his who was nearby and going to the show wanted to cause some problems. As Queen was leaving the restaurant, the fan walked up to him and was acting all crazy for him, asking for autographs and pictures and all that. That quickly devolved into the fan becoming aggressive towards Queen, and a screaming match between the two followed. Security for the restaurant had to take the fan away. Queen gave me his description, and so I told the security for the show tonight to keep him out. What followed was me explaining to Quentin that he works for a name company now, and that the best way to keep his sanity is to keep a low profile. I explained that you can eat wherever you want, just don’t advertise it until you leave. Trust me, I’ve had it happen a thousand times to me when someone finds out what hotel I was staying at. </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> The problems didn’t end there either. My favorite troublemaker Rav “Rhino” Umaga was involved in ANOTHER fight today. This time is was with James “Justice” Jolson. Everyone who witnessed it gave me a different account, but the gist of it is that Jolson was talking crap about Umaga’s attitude and how the boys don’t like him, which is true to an extent, and Umaga caught wind of it and confronted him. Punches were thrown by both guys and they eventually were separated before they could hurt each other. I’m not sure whose fault it was, but the bottom line is that Umaga’s problems are getting too big for our little locker room. It’s a shame. He’s so talented. And I really don’t want to cause issues with his partner Bali either, since he is just as talented and hasn’t really done anything wrong. But something really needs to happen here. I’ll let him know after the show tonight. He has respect for me, so I don’t anticipate him trying to do something stupid. I would love to bring him back sometime in the future, maybe after this all blows over. </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> It’s important to keep the locker room in check. I’ve been in situations where morale drops and everything falls apart. That ain’t happening here in SPW.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Quentin Queen got in an argument with a fan</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Justice Jolson and Rhino Umaga got into a fight</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #FFFFFF; max-width:65%;box-shadow: 0 6px 12px ";"></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="tqUmIEM.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tqUmIEM.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p> </p><p> <img alt="tk2GpkS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tk2GpkS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;">Summit Pro Wrestling Presents: The Rising Monster</span></p><p> White Plains, NY</p><p> Monday Week 4, June 2020</p><p> Attendance: 174</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Team Match</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="OnYe3c4.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OnYe3c4.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ZzVxIny.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZzVxIny.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="EPT5l2x.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/EPT5l2x.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="sjdjKm2.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/sjdjKm2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> The CANtucky Express (Zippy Deverell & Philippe LaGrenier) vs. Keith Vegas & Dead Man Walken</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:left;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">In a very basic match, The Express boys were able to get the win in 12:48 when LaGrenier pinned Vegas with a Quebec Arrow. The real tag team used their experience together to isolate and attack Vegas. Walken had a good (by his standards) hot tag but was cut off, leading to Vegas getting another tag and taking the loss.</div></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Rating: </div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>28</strong></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><div style="text-align:left;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">The real story was what happened after the match. As the winners celebrated up the ramp, Walken stood behind Vegas in the ring. Vegas turned around to presumably apologize to his partner for the loss, but was meant with a STIFF lariat by the Dead Man! Walken hoisted up the smaller Vegas and delivered a backbreaking powerbomb! Walken left the ring to a chorus of boos as the trainers checked on poor Keith!</div></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Rating: </div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>26</strong></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> (turn was a “complete success”)</div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Singles Match</strong></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong> </strong></div></div><img alt="nzz0LhE.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/nzz0LhE.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> VS. </div></div><img alt="ifvPbml.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ifvPbml.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Chip Martin vs. The Masked Mauler VII</div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><div style="text-align:left;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">In Martin’s first SPW match, he fell victim to a Piledriver at 10:57. It’s clear that Martin will one day be a superstar, but unfortunately that time is not coming any time soon. He is very poor in ring, and had to be carried pretty heavily throughout the match. Mauler’s improving pretty swiftly as well. </div></div></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Rating: </div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>31</strong></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><div style="text-align:left;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">Another post match happening takes place now, as Justice Jolson, who was perched ringside the entire match, came into the ring and stood with Mauler. Mauler took to the microphone.</div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> “Chip, I’ve heard a lot about you. I know who your father is. A legend in this area. A hero to these people. A champion. Everything a pro wrestler could ever want to be. But Chip, I also know what it’s like to live in someone’s shadow. I wear a mask that has been worn by legends just as big as your father was. I want to step out of that shadow, and become my own man. Don’t you want that too Chip? You don’t want to live off your father’s coattails do you? Join me Chip. Join us. We have a plan. The prophecy speaks to us. There is more to you than Johnny Martin’s son. Let us show you the way.”</div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Chip was still on the ground, sitting against the ropes. I'm trying to change up the format a bit as I mentioned a couple days ago. I'm completely unsure on how exactly, but I want to keep things moving. I'm also moving the Post Show Thoughts post to a few days after I post the show. For one, it allows me to post faster, as I don't need to write both the show and post show before I make a post. For two, it allows me to spread out the main posts of this dynasty, as opposed to doing both at the same time. And lastly, by not immediately posting prediction keys after the shows, I want to spark conversation about the content of the dynasty. I'll post the prediction key in a few days!</p><p> </p><p> Again, thank you all for reading! All criticism is appreciated. </p><p> </p><p> </p></div></blockquote>

June 2020 Wrap Up & July 2020 Predictions

Post-Show Thoughts

g20vypR.jpg

Conflicting emotions.

That’s how I feel right now. A three and a half hour thru way ride gives me a lot of time to ponder. The show was great, Ernie and Logan put on an awesome main event. Riley McManus stood out. We crowned new tag team champions. Undercard storylines are finally being developed after half a year. So much good from one show.

But I can’t shake the negatives. For one, I informed Rhino that tonight was his last night with us. I let him know that before the start of the show, so I was nervous about what he would do during the match, but he stayed professional. Not to think too highly of myself, but I do think its because he has respect for me. Maybe not for the boys, but for me he does. I know that he knows why I had to let him go. Maybe in a year or so he can come back with a new attitude. Speaking of SPW in a year, who even knows. Attendance isn’t growing like I thought it would be. We haven’t hit 200 since we sold out our debut show. We got 188 for the Immortal Summit last month, but 174 for this month. Maybe it’s because we were in White Plains, a city far enough away from our home base of Utica that word hasn’t spread as much. NYCW is also a lot closer to White Plains than we are, and a lot of the wrestling fans down here are loyal to Larry Vessey. We aren’t competing or anything, but there’s a reason that SPW is the first company with any sort of following in the state other than NYCW. Every other New York company falters and dies within 3 months. We aren’t dying anytime soon, but I’d like to see some growth.

I’ve tried reaching out to WrestleWorld, and I’ve gotten some feelers in return. We haven’t come to a deal yet, but I think after the next few shows, we’ll have gotten enough publicity to make us appealing to the service. Next month is the inaugural COTT North American title match, and it won’t even be airing live! Sam Keith has reached out to me about gaining some rights to the footage of that match so they can air it on whatever programming they choose. I’ll happily let them do it. It’ll be a big part of their history hopefully. It's gonna be an expensive match, that's for sure. Bringing in a guy from each territory is going to hurt. If my math is right, we barely made money this month, so spending a few grand on these guys will put is in the red.

Enough of the pouting though. I should be happy dammit. We had a great show. Patience is key. SPW has some awesome talent. I’m giving shine to those who never got a chance. This train is going to stay on the tracks for a long damn time. Next month is going to be a great show. We announced on Twitter that Ernie’s antics have resulted in me booking a rematch. The match tonight will definitely reach some eyes across the wrestling community, so I want to strike when the iron is hot. It’s a perfect time to gain some new eyeballs.

The rest of the card looks good as well! Lots of storylines building. Real old-school emotional storytelling. The way wrestling should be. EVERY match on the card has a purpose, whether it’s apparent right now or not.

I typed out the card on my phone while I was at a rest stop and I don’t think I’ll be making any changes to it, so here it is:

Great job man, whatever you do with the presentation I'll be here.

That means a lot my man! You'll be seeing some great stories develop that will make it worth your time :)

Good show and write up. Staying onboard.

I appreciate that sir! Thanks for being a regular in the thread!

Really enjoying this so far. Even if Riley lost!

Thank you! I'm FLYING through The Climb right now, excellent excellent excellent job in the storytelling. No Ordinary Men is also incredible. It's so crazy to see your writing style and presentation develop from those first shows in The Climb to the shows you post now in your current dynasty!

Man im so bad at predictions when it comes to the cverse... great show tho

Dude, I didn't know anything (and still don't tbh) about the C-Verse until this. It's really given me a newfound appreciation for the universe. Some awesome characters from the very top of the wrestling world to the rookies and jobbers. Btw, love your graphics, in case you don't see me post that in your thread every week :D

SPW Heavyweight Championship Match (4th defense)

Ernest Youngman © vs. Logan Diaz

I could see Logan winning, but something tells me we're gonna get a rematch next month. So I'll go with Ernie for his consistency.

Inaugural COTT North American Championship Six-Way Match

CZCW’s Tigre Salvaje Jr. vs. IPW’s JOJI vs. MAW’s Ralph Liotta vs. NYCW’s Crocket Tubbs vs. OLLIE’s Slayyer vs. SPW’s Davis Wayne Newton

I picked DWN cause he's with you so I figured you'd wanted the singles title.

#1 Contender’s Tag Team Match

The Hurt Business (The Masked Mauler VII & Justice Jolson) vs. Jimmy Cox & Chip Martin

I can see Chip's loss here making him want to join Hurt Business more, them vs Jimmy Cox is a great spot for Jimmy had a good start last month.

Singles Match

Cip Conduit vs. Riley McManus

Singles Match

Dead Man Walken vs. Keith Vegas

Keith though a cult hero doesn't have a bright future imo, I know DMW has attitude issues but atleast he's a prospect.

Glad to see you back! Great show - and I almost agree with CPBHBK. As long as the presentation doesn't become the worst kind of trash suddenly (which I'm sure won't happen), I'll stay on board. :D

TotalExtremeWrestling.com’s Best of the First Half of 2020

As is tradition on July 1st of every year, TEW is happy to publish our readers’ choices for the “Best Of’ awards for the first half of 2020. Two weeks ago, we put out a list of awards that are voted on by the readers of the newsletter. This year in particular was filled with awesome wrestling, making the race for first place much narrower than years’ past. The TEW staff has given multiple matches from January-June the five-star treatment, shows from a variety of promotions have been heralded as excellent, and a dozen or so talent had a real shot at earning Wrestler of the Year…So Far.

Without further ado, here are the 2020 TEW.com Awards…So Far

Wrestler of the Year:
Sebastian Koller (21CW)

Company of the Year:
21st Century Wrestling

Tag Team of the Year:
The Golden Kings (Pharaoh King & Multimillionaro, EILL)

Match of the Year:
Tommy Cornell def. Adam Matravers by DQ (21CW World War 13)

Show of the Year:
21CW World War 13

Young Wrestler of the Year:
Robby Griffin (CWA)

Veteran Wrestler of the Year:
Rich Money (USPW)

Female Wrestler of the Year:
Alicia Strong (USPW)

Independent Wrestler of the Year:
Electric Dreamer (based in Mexico)

Four out of the five major awards were won by 21st Century Wrestling. The company continues to ride a huge wave of momentum, and has the luxury of dominating the British Isles, and the entirety of Europe as a matter of fact. Total Championship Wrestling did not win any of the readers’ awards, but they were a close second in many regards.

Summit Pro Wrestling Announces Inaugural King of the Mountain Tournament

In a press release to TotalExtremeWrestling, Summit Pro Wrestling owner Jack Bruce announced the King of the Mountain tournament that will hold its first event in August 2020.

”As Summit Pro Wrestling continues to strive to give the world the best independent professional wrestling it possibly can, I am proud to announce the SPW King of the Mountain Tournament. Taking place in August 2020 at the aptly named King of the Mountain event, the single elimination tournament will play host to an exclusive eight men who call SPW home. The winner of the tournament will hoist up a mountain-shaped trophy, while also earning a title show for the SPW Heavyweight Championship. With that said, the current SPW Champion will be exempt from the tournament for the purpose of giving another talent a shot at winning it all.

The brackets and talent taking part in this brand-new event will be announced following SPW’s July event, Upstate Uprising. We hope you will join us as we crown our first King of the Mountain, while continuing our mission to give you the best independent professional wrestling money can buy.”

We have no knowledge of the contenders right now, as SPW has been hush about them in order to not give away results of Upstate Uprising. As soon as we receive word, we will update you accordingly.

Sometimes I like those long drives to other cities to put on a show, but I’d be lying if I said I don’t prefer staying in my hometown. It allows me time to get some last minute shenanigans handled, it saves me money by not needing to pay for everyone’s travel, and some of my friends and family can come to the show. </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> 7pm start time as usual. I got there around 3 and the boys started strolling in about an hour and a half later. Like I do before most shows, I sat in a front row seat and jotted down some notes and ideas I had. Some of the guys go through some stuff in the ring, asking me for advice every now and then. Logan Diaz spent a ton of time in the ring before the show, seeing how his ankle was holding up. Oh yeah, he sprained his ankle last week at a PSW show. He seemed to be good now, but thank god our show wasn’t two days earlier, he wouldn’t be able to compete. I’ll give him credit, he’s working through some pain tonight. I told him to work around it if he needs to. He’s talented enough to work a match around an injury. Ernie will protect him for sure. But damn, PSW is putting some work in on my talent. Ernie went through that table a few months back and then worked for me the next night, and he was sore as hell from it. I’ve gotten lucky enough that nobody’s missed a date for me because of another company’s show injuring them, but I’ve had some close calls.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Jez, my referee, set up a karaoke machine he found in storage of the building. The boys had a good time singing along to power ballads apparently. Anything to get them happy and loose for the show. It’s actually a big show for us, a lot of eyes are on us because we have the COTT North American title match tonight, the first ever at that. Lots of talent flying in made me foot a nice big bill, but I know it will pay off. It was rough having some long conference calls with the other COTT members trying to decide a winner. It isn’t the World Championship, but it’s still a touring title that will bring new eyes to whatever company the champion works for. Eventually we decided on a winner, but I was able to convince Sam to give me a little something extra, which will become clear tonight. </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Our main event should be another barnburner. I gotta enjoy them while I can. Before too long, I know that they will be on national television for somebody.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Time for the show.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:8px;"><em>Jez McArthuer played karaoke and livened the mood</em></span></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="tqUmIEM.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tqUmIEM.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="tk2GpkS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tk2GpkS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <span style="font-size:14px;"><strong>Summit Pro Wrestling Presents: Upstate Uprising</strong></span></p><p> Utica, NY</p><p> Sunday Week 4, July 2020</p><p> Attendance: 198</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49317" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Tag Team #1 Contenders Match</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="ifvPbml.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ifvPbml.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="PlBXDtJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/PlBXDtJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="moNHVEf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/moNHVEf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="nzz0LhE.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/nzz0LhE.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>The Hurt Business (Masked Mauler VII & Justice Jolson) vs. Jimmy Cox & Chip Martin</strong></p><p> </p><p> Jimmy Cox took Chip Martin under his wing last month in order to stop the assault on him at the hands of The Hurt Business. All this did was anger the evil duo, who vowed revenge on them here. The match itself was basic, with Martin getting the heat put on him until Cox was able to receive a hot tag and run roughshod on his opponents…until Justice Jolson flattened him with a powerslam. Cox tagged out to Martin who was absolutely destroyed by Jolson and Mauler. The match came to an odd finish when Jolson refused to stop battering a seated Martin with hard punches in the corner. Referee Jez McArthuer called for the bell to signal a disqualification, but the carnage did not stop there. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winners:</strong> Jimmy Cox & Chip Martin by DQ</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> 26</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="tqUmIEM.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tqUmIEM.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49317" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="ifvPbml.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ifvPbml.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="PlBXDtJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/PlBXDtJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="moNHVEf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/moNHVEf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="nzz0LhE.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/nzz0LhE.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> Jimmy Cox came into the ring to save the young Chip Martin and was able to get Jolson off of him while also fending off Mauler, when a man wearing skull facepaint slid into the ring and clobbered Cox in the back. It was here that Mauler took to the microphone, but the lights cut out for about twenty seconds.</p><p> </p><p> When they came back on, Mauler’s mask had changed and the bodies of Cox and Martin were in a heap in the middle of the ring. This match was pretty terrible, with Walken’s complete lack of experience being a deciding factor in the quality. Vegas wasn’t very good either, but at least he had a bit of psychology. Conduit had the early edge in the feud, as his team won a tag match against McManus last month, although McManus was not the one who took the fall. Now in a singles match, McManus proved to be the better wrestler, as he held control for the majority of the match. Conduit surprisingly was able to keep up with McManus, proving his skills are not to be scoffed at. Nevertheless, McManus was able to pick up the victory after 15 minutes with a Slingshot Suplex.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Riley McManus</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> 39</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p></div></blockquote><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="tqUmIEM.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tqUmIEM.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49317" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><img alt="u9RdUF9.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/u9RdUF9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> Inaugural COTT North American Championship Six-Way Match</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="wmnpwew.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wmnpwew.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="iOHrL2K.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/iOHrL2K.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="j3qUOxb.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/j3qUOxb.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="lbGWB4E.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/lbGWB4E.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="bSkvBQM.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bSkvBQM.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="EIq467s.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/EIq467s.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>CZCW’s Tigre Salvaje Jr. vs. IPW’s JOJI vs. MAW’s Ralph Liotta vs. NYCW’s Crocket Tubbs vs. OLLIE’s Slayyer vs. SPW’s Davis Wayne Newton</strong></p><p> </p><p> The first ever COTT North American Heavyweight Champion was decided here in a chaotic 20 minutes. Each COTT member had a representative in the match, and each performer had a moment to shine in the match. The best performers by a decent margin were Tigre de Salvaje Jr. of CZCW and Crockett Tubbs of NYCW. It was a crazy mix of styles, with old school brawling in some parts, and lucha-style dives in others. Davis Wayne Newton had a chance at victory after he hit Slayyer with a Fisherman’s Suplex, but Salvaje Jr. hit DWN with a superkick and tossed him out of the ring! The beginning of the match was a game of counters, as since they had wrestled previously, they had each other’s numbers. Logan took control early with a series of backbreakers. Youngman regained control after nailing a Russian Legsweep. This portion of the match was a masterclass in psychology, with Diaz selling his ass off for the champion. After a suplex on the outside on Diaz was reversed and Youngman hit the floor hard, Diaz regained momentum. The two of them went into the finishing sequence, a series of hard-hitting throws and holds that led to awesome kickouts! Finally, Logan Diaz’s backbreakers paid off as he put Youngman into the Boston Crab and the champion TAPPED after 26:29!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Logan Diaz (NEW CHAMPION)</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> 67 (!!!)</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>Show Rating: <strong>55</strong></p><p> <em>Popularity increased in one region</em></p><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p>

Thank you guys as always. This show was actually a lot more fun to write, especially the Infernal Council debut. I have a TON of great ideas for them and I am so looking forward to writing more and more about them. <strong>praguepride </strong>created that logo, so thank you sir for that! The new format is a big improvement IMO. It’s easier to read because the segments are actually separated, and it’s a ton more efficient. I want to give all the credit in the world to fellow dynasty writer <strong>Uncrewed</strong> for giving me his blessing to use a very similar format (pretty much a ripoff) to his own, and for giving me some great advice. </p><p> </p><p>

The Infernal Council angle is a modern wrestling retelling of a classic piece of literature, which should be very obvious to those who notice it. So kudos to you if you notice, and mention it in a comment so others will know as well!</p>
