Zero
I noticed you keep using the name Hollywood Hulk Hogan, are you using Hogan as a heel in this time period?? That's super intriguing! If so how is that going in the mid 80s?? Correct. Hogan started as a heel in 1980 with Jesse Ventura as the Hollywood Blonds (Ventura went by Hollywood Jesse Ventura). They then went on to form THE ELITE with "Superstar Billy Graham". Graham went into politics half way into his reign, so Pat Patterson took over the reigns. Patterson then went into politics and and Larry Zbyszko took over. The Elite folded in 85, when Ventura finally completed his FACE turn. The whole time (when Hogan wasn't filming movies), Hogan was getting more and more bitter about being passed over before finally breaking free of THE ELITE and forming THE KINGDOM. Both factions no dead, but EVIL HOGAN continues. My goal is to keep Hogan as the ultimate heel persona throughout the 80s. He is the mountain for babyfaces to climb. Hogan will eventually turn face in 88. Flair, Arn, and Tully are going to arrive in 87, and basically destroy Hogan. Hogan will come back to end the new evil. CzarKyle
Title change extravaganza!!! Jan 1970 - Jan (Wk.1) 1973 WWWF World Heavyweight - Antonio Inoki WWWF US Heavyweight - Wahoo McDaniel (x2) WWWF Light Heavyweight - Johnny Valiant WWWF World Tag Team - Ernie Ladd & Sweet Daddy Siki WWWF US Tag Team - Pedro Morales & Victor Rivera Jan 1970 - Mar (Wk.3) 1973 WWWF World Heavyweight - Nick Bockwinkel WWWF US Heavyweight - John Quinn WWWF Light Heavyweight - Jimmy Valiant WWWF World Tag Team - Bruno Sammartino & Victor Rivera WWWF US Tag Team - The Spoiler & Gary Hart John Quinn shocked Wahoo McDaniel in two matches back-to-back to take his US title. Before Wahoo could obtain his contract for Quinn, injury struck after a tag match with partner Gorilla Monsoon. Wahoo's wild nature in the ring led him to bumping Gorilla several times by accident, who uncharacteristically returned the favor by clocking Wahoo off of ringside apron. This caused an "injury" where Wahoo couldn't return to the ring and lost to Ernie Ladd & Sweet Siki. Afterwards, a shouting match of "who lost the match?" ensued and Gorilla went mad by further injuring Wahoo by Airplane Spinning his ankle into the ringpost. The Spoiler & Gary Hart were up to no good despite their US Tag Team title victory. Bull Ramos was ringside to land some free shots on an already beaten Pedro Morales giving Hart the cheap roll-up. Pedro took time off to heal while Victor moved on to work with former partner Bruno Sammartino. Bruno & Victor had taken a few tag matches winning over #1 contenders Luke Graham & Tor Kamata (Lou Albino's meddling had backfired once again!). Grabbing the interest of Ernie Ladd & Sweet Daddy Siki, they smelled an easy payday. Bruno had just been stripped of his figurehead status by the WWWF in mid-February and Ladd never considered Rivera a threat. Bruno turned back the years and Victor amped up the intensity to take the World Tag Team titles from Ladd & Siki. Realizing their situation, Rivera called out Spoiler & Hart personally to put their US Tag Titles on the line for their first defense. Jimmy Valiant scored a major victory over his brother Johnny Valiant putting his feud with Blassie's Hollywood Agency to rest for a time. Blassie promised he'll have someone else to bring to the light heavyweight ranks, but he's keeping it a surprise...personally this could just be a bunch of hot air from Blassie at this point (or it could be a Garvin or a Fuller...). The House of Heenan has regained the crown jewel, this time with the stable's backbone Nick Bockwinkel. Bobby and Nick claimed it was "all a part of the plan". The Destroyer and Ray Stevens were less than amused...so there seems to be dissention in the ranks. Inoki vows to take his rematch in Shea Stadium with Andre the Giant as ringside protection...a sort of one man lumberjack squad. General News: WWWF purchase EMLL and WCW. Both federations were circling the drain but in the 2 months since purchase and light restructuring, they are already turning a profit. These two run differently than that of 50th State which is truly a development territory where as EMLL and WCW are the premier federations in their locations. This also allows access to former NWA Champion Dr. Wagner.

Zero
Kalamazoo Wrestling 1970- July 1974 *I got pretty bored booking WCCW so after taking some advice, I decided to start from the ground up. I started with zero cash and zero popularity. A small Great Lakes promotion. I closed WCCW and reopened them under Big Time Wrestling WCCW. The reason I closed them was because of how dominate they already were. I went through and made it so every promotion is unable to go above medium. I will probably change that around 1980. CzarKyle
The titles, they keep achangin'... Jan 1970 - Mar (Wk.3) 1973 WWWF World Heavyweight - Nick Bockwinkel WWWF US Heavyweight - John Quinn WWWF Light Heavyweight - Jimmy Valiant WWWF World Tag Team - Bruno Sammartino & Victor Rivera WWWF US Tag Team - The Spoiler & Gary Hart Jan 1970 - May (Wk.2) 1973 WWWF World Heavyweight - Nick Bockwinkel WWWF US Heavyweight - Pedro Morales WWWF Light Heavyweight - Sweet Daddy Siki WWWF World Tag Team - Luke Graham & Tor Kamata WWWF US Tag Team - Abe & The Crusher World Tag champs Bruno & Victor looked dominant taking out US Tag champs Spoiler & Hart in April. However, The Spoiler left his mark as Bruno was not up to strength against the dangerous duo of Luke Graham & Tor Kamata at MSG. Lou Albano was restricted to the locker room, which actually helped his team get the win. After the loss Victor demanded their rematch as Bruno declined, he needs time off to heal. Victor has 14 days to find a partner so that he is allowed a rematch. It also remains to be seen if Graham & Kamata can afford to have Albano at ringside. Bobby Heenan had contacted US Champ, John Quinn, to offer him "step aside pay". That way he ends up defending the US Title so that there's one less route to the World Title that Bockwinkel holds. This plan almost held up until #1 contender Pedro Morales took up his title opportunity. In two straight falls at Shea Stadium, a highly charged Pedro submitted Quinn with a Morales Lock. Frustrated with Heenan and his own management (JJ Dillon), Quinn leaves the WWWF. Sweet Daddy Siki took it to Jimmy Valiant and stole the Light Heavyweight title. Ernie Ladd was ringside to provide nothing but a distraction as Siki pulled a metal slug from his shorts to knock Valiant cold late in the match. Andre the Giant has since joined Valiant in the story to "set things straight" in a tag match. Abe Jacobs had teamed up with old partner Haystacks Calhoun to compete in the tag scene. They fought their way up to #3 in the tag rankings and caught a break when the US Tag Titles were vacated. They caught a bigger break when Bruno left Victor searching for a partner. They caught another break when they were booked to compete for the US Tag Titles against Spoiler & Bull Ramos. Then Calhoun broke his ankle. He promised that he had another friend that could come through for Abe when the day of the match would come to pass. Haystacks didn't lie as The Crusher came from the crowd ringside at Wrigley Field to help secure a title win over Hart's Syndicate. Nick Bockwinkel held fast in his rematch with Inoki. Andre at ringside didn't help as Bockwinkel locked in the figure-four to win 1-0 in a 30min Iron Man match at Shea Stadium. Afterwards, Bockwinkel cut a promo on his next title defense, Gene Kiniski, while thanking those who got him to the title scene. Bobby Heenan received most of the congratulations where Destroyer & Stevens got virtually nothing, not even a handshake. Meanwhile, Kiniski trains hard at the Can-Am Alliance wrestling facility with Earl Maynard and Bobo Brazil.
