d12345
So after spending too much time looking up stadiums and cities around the world I've come up with this addition mod that I'm calling Locations Extended. I've made it so that you can theoretically do a true world tour without the need to use any venues! INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: In the mod of your choice go to "Venues and Locations" and set your search type to "locations." Delete the locations in your mod if you want to avoid duplicate cities. Click Import Items and import all locations from this mod. 2 Important Usage Notes: - This is a locations only mod. This mod contains NO VENUES. - If you do not delete the default locations you will have duplicates as I changed the naming convention for some of the locales. Other Notes: - In the default database there are 305 locations worldwide. This mod has 842 total locations worldwide. - My reference sources for max capacity in each location was looking up the largest venue in said location via Wikipedia, Worldstadiums, and/or Google - For example Russia's locations are named as such : "Nizhny Novgorod, Volga" with the city and region in the title. Paris is named "Paris, FR" and so forth. I found this made it easy for searching to see what cities appear from a specific state, region or country. - Searching is very easy. If you want to change the region that my Colorado cities are categorized in simply type in " , CO" (comma + space + CO). You can do this for every US state to see what cities have been included. - This mod should be suitable for both C-Verse and real world play as it's based on real venue sizes. Decision some may disagree with Posting things you may want to change for your game that I did for my personal game. By posting them here I think it makes it easy for people to make tweaks to their liking! I'll go game area by game area. INDIA - I've added Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal as playable locations in the India game area. I did this because if I play as an Indian promotion I would want to tour those neighboring countries! The rest of the additions in this area are Indian cities. EUROPE Southern Mediterranean stretches beyond Europe and includes some North African and Persian locations. List of non EU locations below: Lebanon Israel Gaza Jordan Syria Egypt Tunisia Morrocco and in case I ever want to do a run as WWE this was the only region I felt I could fit in the below Persian locations: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates OCEANIA Because there is no true region for the Northern Territory I separated the NT cities into either South Australia (Alice Springs) or West Australia (Darwin). To find them just search " , NT" CANADA I added Iqaluit Nanvut to The Maritimes region. It's in the Northwest passage of Canada closer to Greenland but they've got some hockey venues up there! To the west I added Whitehorse, Yukon in the British Columbia region even though it's in the Yukon just north of the British Columbia border. USA Added The Bahamas to the south east since it's a common boat ride location for people who live down in Miami and there is a large stadium there that they use for college football. States like North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Colorado are split into multiple regions. Here's the breakdown: Kentucky Bowling Green is South East Louisville and Lexington are Great Lakes Paducah is Mid South Colorado Fort Collins is North West Grand Junction is South West the rest is Mid West North Carolina Asheville is South East The rest of North Carolina is mid-atlantic South Carolina Greenville and Spartanburg are South East Charleston and Columbia are mid-atlantic Tennessee Knoxville is mid atlantic Chattanooga, Clarksville, and Nashville are South East Memphis is Mid South Connecticut Stamford is Tri-State New York NYC is broken up into the boroughs, so there's no "New York, NY" Now you'll find the following: The Bronx, Harlem, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Manhattan, Nassau Long Island, Suffolk Long Island I included all of those towns on the Hudson River between NYC and Albany in 1 location named "Hudson River, NY" Utah Logan, Utah near the Idaho border is included in North West The rest of Utah is South West Louisiana Shreveport is included in the mid south The rest of LA is in the South East Download Link VERSION 11.0: https://mega.nz/file/hFg1yRjC#Pn2yvPs-SOHPrhOnyDLXt6kzQpMwiHKo6qyXfRrcaNQ Best way to update is to completely remove old locations and import these new locations as some names have been altered, thus would lead to duplicates. If you are just upgrading from a previous version of this mod you can just add the new locations and only delete locations that have changed or became redundant. CHANGE LOG: v2 - Completed the Mexico game area - Added Belize and Guatemala to Mexico in the Sureste region (they have a strong history of Lucha and I've seen some indy promotions run in Belize City and Guatemala City IRL! - Added Syrian cities to the South Mediterranean region of Europe. v3 - Added all cities in Japan with a population of over 500k and many more with less. There are now 81 locations for Japan - Increased the capacity of Kochi in India to account for a missed massive stadium there. - Kochi in Japan is named "Kochi Prefecture" to avoid database issues - Okinawa is included in the Kyushu region of Japan. That location represents all 113 of the Okinawa Islands v4 - Updated capacities for the larger United States locations to better match their NFL (or college) stadium capacities (as those are usually the largest stadiums in those cities) - the_crippler_2004
request could you look at this but same way with venues for those countries you placed in game, morrocco, india, saudi, etc
d12345
Thanks all! Updated with Mexico game area updated. Mexico now has 65 locations. could you look at this but same way with venues for those countries you placed in game, morrocco, india, saudi, etc The reason I went with locations instead of venues is to keep it evergreen, which allows it to be used for both C-Verse and Real World mods. If I'm misunderstanding your question let me know!
d12345
Thanks to Mammoth for the idea of these maps. These maps represent the changes I've made to the game areas. The other game areas match Mammoth's map on the pinned post in the mods section.

y2Kunal
This looks great. Just created a new DB and copied this over the newly created DB. I see 619 locations and zero venues listed in my game now. Is that correct? Asking because you said in your original post that this will have total of 566 locations worldwide so I don't know if there are duplicates or if I installed it incorrectly.

Also, if I may ask, what is the logic of having zero venues and all locations since you mentioned this will work even for real mods. How is that and what is the downside of having venues as well? I'm planning on making India C-Verse and real mod hopefully down the line so I just want to understand the difference and finally if I can use this mod as a base in my mod after further editing/adding more locations in India?

Asking because you said in your original post that this will have total of 566 locations worldwide so I don't know if there are duplicates or if I installed it incorrectly. Hey 619 is the correct number I just need to update the first post (since I recently added more Mexican cities.) Also, if I may ask, what is the logic of having zero venues and all locations since you mentioned this will work even for real mods. How is that and what is the downside of having venues as well? I'm planning on making India C-Verse and real mod hopefully down the line so I just want to understand the difference and finally if I can use this mod as a base in my mod after further editing/adding more locations in India? The idea is that real world mods converted from 2016 would already have all the real world venues included, so you would add this to those. Only locations keeps it evergreen and helps make it easier to track where shows in the past were run. i.e. seeing that ROH ran a show in Chicago vs seeing ROH ran a show at Frontier Fieldhouse, and needing to check the location description to know where it is. For Real World users they wouldn't want to have the fictitious C-Verse venues included. For C-Verse users we wouldn't want to have a bunch of real world venues mixed in. For example, Fort Collins, CO & Knoxville, TN don't fall in the areas you say they do according to your map. Hope that helps. Actually Fort Collins is at the very top of Colorado. That's why I put the line slightly under the state line. Good catch on the mid-atlantic line not including Knoxville. That's a mistake but I explain the regions in the first post. main event heel
This is the venues/locations file that any/every mod should use moving forward. I used to be into the names of arenas and stadiums but its hard to keep track of them from past, present and future. Some stadiums change names, get demolished and nobody is getting paid to keep track of that. This standard list of geographical locations gives everybody a foundation for their mod. From there, if anybody wants to, can go and do further research on arenas/stadiums for their given time in thier mods. I salute you @ D12345

Johnny Fenoli
Not 100% sure I understand how this works... but should Dallas, TX have a capacity of only 75,000? The record for ATT Stadium there is 105,121... and that's without anyone sitting "on the field." So, you'd to think that would add a few more even.

Am I understanding it right?
