I managed to get a 51 rated match by teaming my UC up with Merle O'Curle and got this very exciting roll:

9. "Keeping It In The Family" Create a younger sibling wrestler aged 17 (same 750 skill point split). If you are over 32 treat this as a son/daughter

This is going to be great for my dynasty.

End of Year roll:

24. “Aerial Assassin” You have devoted yourself to climbing that turnbuckle, +5 to your Aerial or Flashiness skill

Year 2 in the books

Just hit my first 75+ rated show (main evented by me UC no less) too!

My company, MYTHIC Wrestling is currently Medium and ranked number 6 in the world behind only USPW, SWF, EILL, 21CW and TCW. We currently sit at (57 , 57 , 54 , 52 , 62 , 47 , 53 , 54 , 62 , 35 , 31) across America. Canada is basically entirely above 60 and we just signed with La Red de Lucha to get Medium coverage in Mexico. Growth has been hampered by an economy in the teens and a low industry as well, but we are sitting at 909k for the moment.

My user character Nicholas Reyes is growing as well. He is currently 64 across America and Canada. Best match to date is an 83 where Nicholas Reyes defeated Ernest Youngman.

I am really enjoying RTG this game. A lot of the new elements are making it very fun.

Does it count if the new company is an old company, such as AAA, DAVE, MOSC or UCR, that has been resurrected due to the owner having the rights to their name, but that owns absolutely nothing else apart from the old legacy?

As long as it's a 0/0/0/1000 company then that is fine.

Is it just me or is there almost no way to survive if you arent a: running a touring company, b: running weekly free shows, or c: have an attractive product for sponsors without going bankrupt? i just feel so limited in how my games start

No it isn’t just you. I tried different things during the beta and couldn’t get it to work. Which is why I ran with the most favorable conditions I could think of. As it turns out I probably overdid it. I think choice of home region is vital. You ideally want a region with 90+% importance. You’re also in the hands of fate as regards to wrestling and economic state in your area.

YEAR 2

We Are The Moment - Work for a Medium company

34. “So, Tell Me About Your Mother…” You have devoted your holiday season to training in the ring +5 to your Psychology skill

Psychology: 70 --> 75

Once we hit medium, I went on another signing spree. Bryan Vessey, Angry Gilmore are both signed. Vessey came out of retirement. Also was finally able to convince Buddy Garner to come out of retirement!

May of 2021, finally stole a worker (Edd Stone, from TCW) and it's nice to finally have a solid worker with popularity not in time decline! I got Matt Hocking immediately after as well! Koshiro Ino came up and I was able to convince him to come to America and had an offer to take him from BHOTWG but at his high age, I decided against trying to beat their 2nd bid.

We're in June 1st and I just made my first million dollar profit month. Pulling in just shy of 600k in merchandising revenue, with Jack Bruce being the highest at 171k with 120k of that being profit for us. For comparison sake, he's on an exclusive written PPA as a Road Agent/Manager making 4k per show (20k a month) so we're getting 100k just for having him on the roster. I've got 47 active workers on my roster, so I'm gonna begin trimming some fat pretty soon. Pretty much everybody that's Unrecognizable or Unimportant except for Giant Brody and Buddy Garner are some form of cold, mostly really cold. I'd like to get down to 30 to 36 guys. As it currently stands, I'm booking a lot of multiman tag matches just to get everyone on the card. Once I get a TV deal I plan to transition this thing more towards a dynasty type playthrough. I'm also gonna reset my titles since their prestige is so low, presumably due to being created when I was insignificant.

<p>Booking angles is annoying the heck out of me so I'm putting my main RTG on the backburner for a moment and starting a quick game with my new fed - Impact: MONSTERS of New York!</p><p> </p><p>

Yes, Monster Battle. With 90% match ratio and 20-80 in-ring/popularity, it's a breeze to book and it seems like my guy can hopefully start pulling good match ratings relatively quickly.</p><p> </p><p>

I got up to Tiny by Sat week 4 Feb, running constant events. Roll is a 48, giving me 'plays legitimate well' and 'explosive ring style' as attributes.</p><p> </p><p>

Oscar/Hawkeye beat Mutant/Ade Nelson in a 55 rated match to get us our first show rated 50 or above just after we get on Wrestleworld. Resultant roll is 10, giving me a dirty doctor.</p><p> </p><p>

This is followed at the very next show by my UC's first 50+ rated match as he teams with Hawkeye to beat Oscar and Mutant. 42 gives me a boost to babyface performance.</p><p> </p><p>

Next up, I hit small. 24 gives me +5 to aerial.</p>

And there's Medium, Barnaby vs Papa Swoll taking us there. 20 gets me Straight Edge.</p>

Man it's been an extremely exciting past couple months in Ring Warriors! I'll start from the beginning! We've pried away a few talents from The Big 3 American promotions. First, Casey Valentine from USPW in February. Floyd Goldworthy from TCW in March. Devious Doctor Fang from EILL in March. Angry Gilmore from SWF in April, although he was non-tendered and is in time decline, so I've signed him to a 1 year deal to put younger talent over. Edd Stone from TCW in June which is now a lot bigger deal than it was then. Followed by Matt Hocking less than a week later, also from TCW. D.C. Rayne in July, signed with a hope Eddie Howard would eventually join him, more on that later. Dominic DeSousa from SWF, which I'm quite disappointed in a couple weeks in. MAGNUM KOBE from PGHW, which I'm thrilled about as I love him. Hollywood Bret Starr, but he's sadly recovering from a broken freakin' neck, so he'll be out 8 more months. Couldn't pass on Bret, he'll likely team with CV when he returns. Sadly I missed out on Cameron Vessey and Jay Chord is putting on 5 star matches in back to back PPVs for TCW, so The Succession will likely be reincarnated, but with different 2nd generation stars. Eddie Howard came up 3 weeks after I signed Rayne, and I had to pay a lot to get him, mostly with the bonus money and years, but I was able to snag him. Natural Storm just won the tag belts in their first match together in RW. And for the grand finale, MYSTIC effing Dragon is leaving Burning Hammer for America, and he's joining me!</p><p> </p><p>

I would definitely say Silver Tongue is no longer worthless. Once you hit medium, I have yet to fail in convincing international talent to become active in America when their contract is up.</p><p> </p><p>

Fro Sure is established as figure head. I had him go over the couple guys that were giving him dings prior to geting established, so attendance is up 4% and merchandise is up 10% when he appears.</p><p> </p><p>

Now for the major news. With the acquisition of CWA, I took everything but their talents under the hope I could sign them as free agents to new deals, better structured for me, as almost every contract they had included 20% per event bonuses while also having large guarantees. Since they didn't have an American television deal, most of their roster is useless initially in USA. But nobody else bid on them. So I got everyone I was remotely interested in. </p><p> </p><p>

Now I'm facing the major roster bloat problem, but I've got a plan to attack it. I tried signing The Ring Generals, and lost both of them. I released my broadcasting team as they were replaced with CWA's broadcasting team. Floyd Goldworthy was released, Jay Fair was released. In terms of in ring talent, I cut Bryan Vessey, Remmy Skye, Nigel Svensson and Findlay O'Farraday. I'll likely be releasing Angry Gilmore, as he's 24th in merchandising sales despite being the highest paid member of my roster (63.4k) by 20% over Casey Valentine, who's making 50k. Past that, I'd like to get out of this debt and work on opening a Performance Center/dev company to send my young talent down that can't call in the ring. Giant Brody is my last PPA deal, but he's turned into a damn good worker, and I'd like to keep him. Good workers at his size are unicorns - they don't exist. I have 11 tag teams, and 10 women. I signed 24 talents formerly from CWA. Amber Allen, Brooke Tyler got 10 years. Aaron Knight, David Stone, Princeton Pryce, Robby Griffin and Sonny Wildside got 10 year deals from the men's side. Adrian Garcia and Tom Townsend got 10 year deals from the out of ring side of things. 34 year old Lauren Easter was Becky Lynch'n and won't be back for a few months, but I love her and signed her to a 9 year deal. My biggest issue is road agents. I have 9 road agents. Acid, Angry Gilmore, Buddy Garner (Owner), Jack Bruce and Johnny Bloodstone are all on Written PPA's, with all but Bruce doubling as occasional wrestlers. Duane Stone, Jack DeColt, Jeremy Stone and Steve DeColt are all on writtens, so between them and Buddy, I have 5 that are staying for sure. Bloodstone is gonna job to the lower CWA talent to get their pop around 25-30 without complaints before I release him. Bruce is going nowhere, as I'm making over 100k profit off his merch. Acid I'd like to keep because Acid II is his protege and Acid II is one of my top guys. So realistically, Gilmore and Bloodstone can go, but I'm stuck with the rest. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm at a fever pitch for this save right now. I lost out of Duane Fry, and 2 of USPW Colour Commentators, although Garcia and Townsend make the CC's irrelevant now. Also lost Wolfsbaine to USPW 4 days before I was gonna be able to re-engage contract talks. I feel like my roster is so nice now. I'm likely going to change my company name to CWA, Carnage Wrestling Association. I'll keep CWA's title renders and probably make new belts so I can have a fresh title history. Just so much moving around my head now. I'm more popular in every region of Canada than I am in my home region. Debating if it would be worth it to move to Canada, although I think I'll make more money in the long haul by being a 4 major American promotion.</p>

So I'm running two separate RTG games on separate saves. One's not exactly a "true" RTG game as I gave her an established worker relationship and have her as a Hatoyama Graduate beforehand, but that's because the RTG char will exist in the game world regardless of save. The true one doubles as a Heidenreich Challenge.

Year one in the books. My plan is to write up every show for this RTG, my dynasty is here: http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=547337

I'm three shows into 2021 in game and got my first 50 rated show:

11. “LEGEN… wait for it… DARY!” Gain a Best Friend relationship with someone on your roster whose picture is of them wearing a suit. If no-one on your roster is wearing a suit, you must hire someone who wears a suit and become their Best Friend anyway then add the Drinker attribute.

Justin Blackham is my new best friend and drinking buddy

Using this RTG to explore and find out more about the product system, so i went with a knockoff ROH company in the Cverse in the Tri-State area to grow quicker and off the bat, Quentin Queen has carried my roster.</p><p> </p><p>

Thankfully I can nab PSW workers no issue, so that solves cheap, good talent off the bat, but I signed Blue Dragon and Dreadnought intent on making both major stars.</p>

<p>First Year in the books.</p><p> </p><p>

WHW was the hottest indy company around, as we won most improved company, going from Insignificant to Tiny to Small all in one year! This was mostly thanks to one Ernest Youngman, who would jump to SWF, I'll save you from them, someday. This was a good and bad year, we rose pretty well, but we aren't ready for the Wrestleworld jump, too much costs that offset profit, so I'm make 2021 about making the funds to stay afloat and then jump back to WrestleWorld. </p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="jBCAZbr.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/jBCAZbr.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

<img alt="R3TzLH6.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/R3TzLH6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

<img alt="aBOKvja.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/aBOKvja.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

We got 3 achievements for the year, so here are those rolls:</p><p>

5."Lean On Me" Gain Strong Friendship with random wrestler in your promotion. Any addictions from your character's and your new friend’s attributes are set to Former.</p><p> </p><p>

8. "Where There’s A Will" One of your die hard fans has passed on bequeathing their worldly possessions to your promotion. Do you accept it or donate it to charity? Gain EITHER $56,609 or +5 Prestige</p><p> </p><p>

12. "Like A Chimney" Add "Smoker" to your characters addictions. If you have this already then upgrade to "Heavy Smoker" or "Former Smoker" if previously a Heavy Smoker.</p><p> </p><p>

Here are my skills after year 1:</p><p>

<img alt="G0f1Wx0.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/G0f1Wx0.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

And our end of the year roll for 2020 was:</p><p> </p><p>

27.“RTGdow” Everyone is in the industry is talking about your recent performances, add “Flavour of the Month” to your attributes</p>

EDIT: Shortly thereafter, I realized my company growth had been capped at small and I promptly grew to medium!

28. “I lost my smile” You are going through a tough time, add “Personal Issues” to your attributes :(

I think I might do a Dynasty this year...

I'm using the Steesh07 RL 2010 mod. For this promotion I'm going out of my comfort zone of "Wrestling as a sport" to basically give a European-based version of something like Lucha Underground. Once I get the dynasty up, I will make it more clear. But basically...this is going to be booked basically like a Television series, with wrestling as the backdrop for confrontations. This will also do a deep dive into mythology etc., although the first few Seasons will start out being very simple

Core Product: Scripted Reality

Current Product: Performance Art

Skills were given to me by the "Create" option. I only moved 37 points from Sex Appeal, to Menace

Year 2 is in the rearview! WHW had a product change going from my loving Respectful Wrestling to Psuedo Sport as Lee Wright sees our future in the British Style. We would Lose Davis Wayne Newton this year to TCW and that would keep us down, but signing up Black Flash and getting Mario De Silva would help save us. This year has been us building our finances and looking to get to 500k if I can then jump to Wrestleworld, I just i wish the stars would stopped getting booked on there, since they get grabbed by USPW who would rise to Titanic. The bottom of this barrel hurts. We introduced a Tag Team title and look to a Midcard title for our redebut to Wrestleworld, which I'll have my user character win in order to build our stars and we signed Lucy Stone-McFly. Save us Lucy.

And then something happened! In Australia we got our big break and found out RAW Has no head booker leaving it open for one Mr. Brooks :)

Had the exact same thing happen. Just took the booking job at RAW. Good thing too. I was getting bored of my starting promotion. Great to see getting new jobs is actually possible in this one.

I still see RAW as the enemy, so I'm going to bring in a lot of my BEACH wrestling pals. Sadly my ace, Surfer Dude Lucas is on an exclusive at the old place.
