EY!!!! Billy Gunn was and is a guilty pleasure of mine! He was also my Brother's favourite wrestler back in the day! Nobody can deny that the New Age Outlaws were awesome. He's still a big dude, and his sons are studs too! I'm gonna send him to Australia right now! And he will hit a really nice dropkick on you!

Controversial, but I'll accept that. I think I just have rose tinted glasses for everything that happened in that era. A lot of people do. When you watch it back, it's so poor at times

Road Dogg definitely carried them on the mic but Gunn had some charisma. I don't see him as a singles star unfortunately, so I have him in the perfect spot for him: Teaming with K-Kwik as 'Rapid Fire' and part of the New Generation X stable. Kwik is 29, so he can learn a lot from Gunn (38). And also carry Gunn on the mic to a lesser extent than Doggy did.

Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley strolled onto the stage, and told The Rock their plans for later tonight... Put The Rock through a table, and soften him up for Undertaker to use the bike on HIM!! Once 'The American Badass' does a number on The Rock, his Survivor Series team will be severely weakened... Allowing The Dudleys (members of Undertaker's team) to pick up a big win this Sunday!! The Rock reminded The Dudleyz that he has a very supportive team this Sunday though...

Kane, Big Show and Rikishi arrived on the stage behind The Dudleyz, and the Brothers ran off, leaving the three big men on the stage with no one to fight... However... Kane was going to be in action for our opening contest... Against 'The Belt Collector' Chris Jericho...

'The Big Red Machine' Kane [vs] 'The EgoManiac' Chris Jericho

Kane and Jericho showed great chemistry as opponents tonight, and the match could have gone either way. In the end, Jericho rolled Kane up to score a near-fall, but as Kane popped out of the pinning predicament, Jericho had hold of his mask and it came loose!! As Kane covered up and tried to re-set the position of the mask, Jericho locked in the 'Walls of Jericho', and the 'Big Red Machine' had to tap out!! A huge statement victory for Jericho. Kane doesn't tap out to anyone!!

Kurt Angle, who thinks that all wrestlers aspire to be as good as he is in the ring, was standing by with Jonathan Coachman next, talking about his recent match with Eddie Guerrero from RAW which got the wrestling fan community talking about how great it was...

“I have to give a ton of credit to Eddie Guerrero for that match... He really is an exceptional talent, and if he wasn't already on a team, I'd have considered him for my Survivor Series Team for this Sunday... However, if Eddie gets a ton of credit for the match... Then I get TWO TONS of credit!! See me and Eddie, we're competitors... We do our talking IN the ring... We

Edge and Christian were just minding their own business in the background... but at the mention of their names, their ears perked up and they decided to respond to Angle's claims that they 'hide' behind each other, with a challenge, that Angle respectfully accepted...

“Tell you what Kurt... You think Eddie Guerrero is impressive...? Well so do we... But why don't I show you how impressive I can be... Tonight!!”

Terri's Boys were dominant here, despite being up against a spirited fighter in Spike, and the Light Heavyweight Champion in Jannetty. For the finish, Perry Saturn, who had done a masterful job of cutting the ring in half for the entire match, made Spike tap almost instantly as soon as the 'Rings Of Saturn' was applied. A dominant win, and a demoralising one for Jannetty, who heads to Survivor Series to put his Title on the line against Jerry Lynn in a Falls Count Anywhere Match!

The Hardy Compound – Part One

In a pre-taped, cinematic style video package, seven WWF Wrestlers pulled up at a very large house on a lot of land, and William Regal proclaimed that this, was the Hardy Compound... The Hardy Boyz had evidently pooled their money, along with Lita, to buy a mansion and they must have been doing pretty well for themselves... The group of seven decided to split up, because otherwise this was going to take all night... D'Lo Brown, Dean Malenko and Regal headed around the back... Haku and Umaga headed off into the land that the house sat on... while Too Cool (Scotty Too Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay) walked up to the front door, and knocked...

A big looking man in a mask opened the door and instantly scared Too Cool with his mere presence... His name appeared on the screen for the fans watching at home: 'SENIOR BENJAMIN'... Grandmaster Sexay's first thought was to grab his partner Scotty, and shove him into the masked man!! Sexay took off, just running down the stairs and across the driveway into the night!! Scotty was in the grasp of the big man, but not for long. He picked Scotty up, and threw him over his head with a T-Bone Suplex!! Scotty landed hard, and was out of it, while Senior Benjamin grabbed his leg, and dragged him through the front door and back outside the house...

Survivor Series Main Event

The Main Event of this Sunday's Survivor Series Pay-Per-View should be Triple H versus Steve Austin for the WWF World Heavyweight Title... However, the match has been thrown into doubt due to Austin, The Undertaker and Vince McMahon running Triple H's leg over with his motorcycle!! No news yet as to whether 'The Game' will be there on Sunday, but thoughts are he'll hobble out on crutches if he has to to get his hands on Austin for trying to end his career!!

'Latino Heat' Eddie Guerrero [vs] Mr. Perfect w/ Viscera

An excellent nights work from both men here, in somewhat of a 'dream match' between the two. If Perfect was 5 years younger, and Eddie goes on to have the career everyone expects him to, this one could easily headline an event like Survivor Series on Sunday! Eddie was too quick, and too slick for the veteran tonight, winning it with his 'Frog Splash'.

The three members of The APA: Faarooq, Bradshaw and The Godfather, were sat playing cards in their room with a door, but no walls... When Test arrived... Walking 'in' without knocking!!

Faarooq:

“DAMN!! You need to learn some manners kid!!”

Test just smirked at Faarooq, as reinforcements arrived behind him, in the form of his entire Survivor Series Team...

Bradshaw:

“Alright then... Let's do this...”

The APA carefully placed their half full bottles of beer on top of a filing cabinet behind them... removed jewellery like watches and rings, and turned back around to face the music... Eddie Guerrero was just in action in the ring, so he'd be no help to them tonight... They got beaten down by their four attackers, but they put up one heck of a fight... beer bottles were smashed on Faarooq's head, while Bradshaw ended up with the filing cabinet on top of him!! Godfather was slammed through the table they were playing cards on... Eddie Guerrero's Survivor Series team were taken out by their opponents for this Sunday... Looks like Godfather's plan completely backfired...

Haku and Umaga came across Senior Benjamin next, outside the mansion... The masked man looked small compared to the two big, strong Samoans... but he still looked menacing as he told them to charge at him!! They obliged, and both men suddenly disappeared, falling into a whole in the ground that was covered with leaves and sticks etc... Senior Benjamin disappeared, as the camera revealed Haku and Umaga laid out in a heap at the bottom of the whole...

Edge w/ Christian [vs] 'The Olympic Gold Medallist' Kurt Angle

Another excellent outing for Angle here, this time against a young up and coming tag team specialist in Edge. It was a back and forth final few minutes, with both men earning near falls. Angle locked in an Ankle Lock, and Edge made it to the ropes, but as he climbed up the ropes, still in the hold, Angle pulled him away from them and hit the 'Angle Slam'! A great sequence to end it.

Hardcore and Molly thought this was a terrible idea... but there was no talking Crash, who still believes he weighs well over 400lbs, out of it...

This was a fun little throw-away match between two lower card guys. Al is a veteran with 18 years experience under his belt, and he showed his class with a great win over a game Funaki with his 'Snow Plough' finisher.

We saw a promo video package next, for one of WWF's newest signings: 'The Japanese Buzzsaw' Yoshihiro Tajiri...!! Better known as just Tajiri, and hailing from Tokyo, Japan... the 190lber will fit in well with the WWF's Light Heavyweight Division... He can kick as hard as anyone in the business, and has a wealth of experience to his name, despite being only 31 years of age... No news yet on when we can expect his debut, but thoughts are it won't be long...

The Hardy Compound – Part Three

Round the back of the house, D'Lo Brown, Dean Malenko and William Regal had cornered the masked 'Senior Benjamin' in the kitchen, and he decided that the only way out of this predicament was to drop to his knees and throw his arms out wide... giving up and expecting to be attacked... However, instead of attacking, Regal slowly walked up to him, and removed his mask, revealing the identity of the man as developmental talent: Shelton Benjamin!!

Regal and co. were shocked to see Shelton here, but they soon got an even bigger shock when The Hardy Boyz and Lita burst into the room!! Lita was wielding a Kendo Stick, and she chopped Malenko down at the knees before smashing him over the back multiple times... The Hardyz took D'Lo down, eventually sending him flying over the kitchen island and into some pots and pans... Regal and Shelton fought, before Shelton grabbed the British brawler and shoved his head into the sink, which was full of water... Regal could barely breathe as he came up for air, and was soon knocked unconscious by a Jeff Hardy Kendo Stick shot!!

The Hardyz, Lita and Shelton dragged the lifeless bodies of D'Lo, Malenko and Regal out to the front of the house, and laid them out next to Haku, Umaga and Scotty Too Hotty... The Hardyz chanted: “Never Come Back” over and over again... One by one, the men all woke from their unconscious state, and staggered into the vehicle that brought them there... D'Lo started the engine, and drove them away, leaving the Hardy Compound only occupied by its inhabitants...

Rikishi & The Rock [vs] The Dudley Boyz

Amazing Main Event, featuring two teams of Family members. Rikishi and Rock haven't always gotten along, but on this night they were on the same page. They needed to be too, because Bubba and D-Von Dudley were like a well-oiled machine throughout. They isolated Rocky, and left the big, bad, Rikishi on the apron pacing and trying to get the crowd into it. In the end, 'The Great One' made the hot tag, and Kish started cleaning house! He super kicked the Dudley Boyz like the move was going out of fashion. In the end, Rocky came back into the match and put Bubba down with the 'Rock Bottom'!

Step Two, Take Two

After a hard-fought match, 'The American Badass' The Undertaker rode his bike to the ring... The Captain of his team, which includes The Dudley Boyz and Mr. Perfect instructed the Dudleyz to grab The Rock, while he took out some aggression on Rikishi at ringside!! 'Taker's big right hands strike fear into the hearts of most men, but having just gone to war with a team like Bubba and D-Von, this was the last thing Rikishi needed... Bubba and D-Von were being taken down by The Rock in the ring, until 'Taker slid in and put him down with a big boot... Undertaker told his troops to grab The Rock, and bring him to his bike, while he took care of Rikishi, who had climbed into the ring... However, once Bubba and D-Von got to the bike, Kane's entrance music hit, and the other two members of Team Rock arrived!!

Kane and Big Show made light work of the Dudleyz, while Undertaker hopped the guard rail to safety as The Rock and his team assembled in the ring... This Sunday promises to be a heck of a night for the WWF, with three colossal Survivor Series Matches... and three very important Championship Matches...

WCW Thunder kicks off it's 2 Hour Run of specials with Eric Bischoff who is standing in the ring. Bischoff starts the night by welcoming everyone to the first of 5 special episodes of Thunder. Bischoff says he has to thank the USA Network who has allowed him to extend Thunder on the lead up to Starrcade XIX at the end of the year. With that Jeff Jarrett's music hits and he walks down to the ring. Jarrett calls Bischoff a kiss a** for thanking some cooperative money grabbers. Jarrett says Bischoff should be thanking him and the Elite Era for putting WCW back on the map and saving them from the scrap heap. Jarrett continues to talk about how he and the Elite Era have changed the face of WCW for the better since coming to the USA Network. That's when the Music of Ric Flair hits and he comes to the top of the ramp. Flair calls Jarrett an egotistical idiot for thinking it's him and the Elite Era that has made WCW what it is today. Flair says that the wave of young talent has made WCW interesting, referencing the likes of Lance Storm, Mark Jindrak, AJ Styles, Natural Born Thrillers and more. Before Flair can continue, Jarrett cuts him off and tells him if he's not got anything positive to add to this situation, to go away as he walks talking to Bischoff. Bischoff then interrupts and says he’s got a great idea, Bischoff says that Jarrett wants Flair to shut up, so tonight he can shut him up, in a tag team match. Bischoff says that Jarrett and Steiner can stretch their legs ahead of Sunday's PPV in a tag match against Ric Flair and… Goldberg. Jarrett absolutely loses it as Bischoff drops his microphone and exits the ring.

In a great match to open Thunder, Lance Storm gets another chance at the Champion after winning last weeks #1 contenders match. Storm and Kanyon put on a show for the live crowd as they battle hard to gain the advantage as the match is very equal throughout. The finnish comes as Storm hits a huge side kick to the chin of Kanyon as the lights go out. When the lights come back on, Kanyon is covering Storm who is now out on the mat, picking up the win.

As Kanyon makes it to his feet in the ring, Raven jumps the guard rail and runs into the ring, grabbing the US title on his way. Raven then clocks Kanyon in the back of the head with the belt before rolling out of the ring and walks backwards up the ramp talking to himself.

Nash thanks them both for having his back but tells them that it may become toxic around him now that Page is seemingly in the pocket of the Elite Era. Mysterio and Konnan tell Nash not to worry because together they can make sure Page is dealt with. That's when Mysterio says that they should work together to make sure Page is one of the first eliminated in the WW3 match this Sunday. Konnan and Nash agree as they all put their hands in and say they have each other's backs.

Showing off the Cruiserweight Division in all its glory, Chavo and Styles have a great match, one of the better matches of the division this year. Chavo spends the whole match trying to ground Styles who is like a rubber band, flying all over the place. Styles looks great throughout and holds his own against one of WCW’s greatest cruiserweights. The end comes in the form of a countout as Chavo ends up losing his temper, being unable to pick up the victory, he grabs his belt and heads up the ramp. This leaves the referee to count the 10 count, declaring AJ Styles the winner but allows Chavo to slink away with his title.

He says that Goldberg will be dealt with tonight and that come Sunday he will have the night off to watch this showcase of talentless runts in the World War 3 battle royal. Borash then questions what Steiner means by not making it to Sundays PPV. Steiner says he's gonna break his freaking neck with his Recliner.

After the commercial break and Billy Kidman is questioning Torrie if she is well enough to be back to work so soon after Jazz attacks her. Torrie says she is fine and tells Kidman she is more worried about him because the numbers don't look great for him at the moment, now Helms has gone back to his yes men. Kidman assures her he is fine and says he will happily take out Moore tonight just to make the numbers a little less stacked against him.

Shane Helms vs Brian Kendrick

Helms is once again back in action tonight as he faces another fresh face in WCW. This time he takes on a young blond who has all the energy of a room full of men in his skinny body. Kendrick proves not to be a pushover for Helms who gets taken back by the offence of the fresh faced blonde. In the end Moore and Karagias, who are ringside, help trip up Kendrick at the same time the other distracts the referee. Helms gets back the advantage and wastes no time hitting the vertebreaker to pick up the win.

After the match Helms, Moore and Karagias all pile into the ring and surround Kendrick who is out cold on the mat. They all proceed to lay in the boots to the rookie who is helpless and outnumbered. That's when Kidman's music hits and he makes a run for the ring. All 3 men then disperse from the ring as Kidman stands guard over Kendrick, waiting for the Brothers For Flight to make their way up the ramp.

After months of being on the back foot and suffering loss after loss, recently Stasiak and Sanders have been looking good as a team, even winning a #1 Contenders match last week on Thunder. Although the recent run for them has led them here, the road to the top of the tag division hits a bump in the road as The Road Warriors manage to the latter part of the match and pick up a convincing win to retain the gold.

Arn Anderson is backstage and seen rounding up the Horsemen. After sitting everyone down, including Flair, Arn says that he wants nothing but they all come this Sunday. Arn tells them to fight as a Unit and not as Individuals, telling them to watch each other's backs and make sure that every member of the Elite Era Army has been eliminated before they try to win the match. Arn then says he wants them all to band together and make it to the final 20, saying that at least then the Elite Era would have little to no chance of walking away with the win. Jindrak then stands up and says he hopes he speaks for everyone when he says that right now the #1 focus on everyone's minds is the WW3 match, before saying that once he's disposed of Mike Awesome, he will head into the WW3 battle royal with momentum on his side. Jindrak then says to raise your hands if you think the Elite Era or XCW will walk out victorious. They all have a chuckle before the segment ends and we head back to ringside.

Billy Kidman vs Shannon Moore

Shannon Moore is the first man to the ring with Kidman the second man out. Kidman wastes no time in getting to the ring as he gets to the top of the stage before charging towards the ring and wastes no time in getting his hands on Shannon Moore. A short but shoot based match follows as both men seem to have the personal issues of late, on their mind. Kidman eventually gains the advantage but sadly gets stopped in his tracks as Helms and Karagias make a run for the ring and start attacking Kidman. The Referee calls for the match to be a DW in favour of Kidman but the assault continues.

Winner: Billy Kidman

They both launch an attack on the 3 men and get a good advantage, however it's not until Kidman manages to get enough time to recuperate and get back to his feet that he helps both London and Kendrik clear the ring and send the BFF’s up the ramp with their tails between their legs.

Mark Jindrak is now backstage working out by throwing fists at a punchbag, naming every member of the Elite Era and XCW with every swing. From behind Mike Awesome enters and runs at Jindrak, who senses him in the room and side steps him, sending him crashing into the equipment. A Brawl then ensues between the two which is eventually broken up by lots of Staff, with the overbearing voice of Paul Heyman in the background telling Awesome to focus on Sunday, not tonight.

The Road Warriors are now backstage walking towards the parking lot when Bagwell and Luger step into their path and stop them from leaving. Animal questions what they want when Bagwell says isn't it obvious, “We are just putting you on notice that we haven't given up on making you two suffer”. Hawk then says that they haven't been hiding, but if they want some, show up in the ring and they will happily beat them once more. Luger then tells them both that the clock is ticking on their reign, once WW3 is over with, they are coming for them and there is nothing they can do about it. Luger then slaps the chest of Bagwell and says “We got business to take care of, let's leave these two to polish the gold for us”. Luger and Bagwell then walk off as Animal and Hawk shrug to each other and continue to the parking lot.

Ric Flair & Goldberg vs Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett

The main event for the evening is jam packed full of action from both sides, however the pace and direction of the match is heavily dictated by Steiner and Jarrett at the beginning as Flair is singled out for over half of the match. Goldberg eventually gets the hot tag and clears house before the match really gets to kick into full gear. We get a brief glimpse of Steiner and Goldberg face to face ahead of their WCW Championship match this Sunday, but thanks to Jarretts underhand tactics, the moment is spoiled by some dodgy dealings. In the end Jarrett’s attempts to screw over Goldberg and Flair backfire as he ends up hitting Steiner with a chair to the heat, behind the back of the referee, thanks to Goldberg ducking in time. This leads to Goldberg hitting the spear on Jarrett, followed by a Jackhammer to Steiner, who gets pinned by the challenger just 3 nights before the biggest rematch of the year.

Winner: Goldberg

We got a video package to kick us off tonight, hyping three of the big matches we can expect to see tonight... Eddie Guerrero and Razor Ramon have assembled teams for a Classic Survivor Series Match, and their feud is only just getting started... The Rock and The Undertaker are on opposite sides of a war, with 'Taker representing the Three Man Power Trip (along with Steve Austin and Vince McMahon), they've tried to take out Rock, and Triple H in recent weeks... and speaking of Triple H, 'The Game' might not even make it tonight for his scheduled 1 on 1 contest for the WWF World Heavyweight Title against 'Austin'... If he does, that one will be a fight rather than a contest now...

APA Attacked on Smackdown

We saw replays from Smackdown this past week next, as Team Razor Ramon attacked the three members of the APA, who make up Eddie Guerrero's team...

It was a vicious and well-planned attack, which has left Team Eddie severely weakened... In particular, The Godfather, who went through a Table on Thursday Night... How will Team Eddie recover to take on Ramon's strong unit of Test, Billy Gunn and X-Pac...?!

Faarooq and Test started this match for their respective teams, and it was a slug-fest from the two big men. They both tagged out of the ring after a few minutes with fat lips after some hard right hand bombs to the face. It was Eddie Guerrero and X-Pac next, in a battle that would have made a great singles match. They both shone for their teams for a moment, but Billy Gunn was soon in for Team Razor and his size switched the momentum a little. The first elimination saw the weakened Godfather taken out by a 'Razor's Edge' from Ramon himself!

Eliminations:

Down a man, but not for long, because Bradshaw almost took X-Pac's head off with a 'Clothesline From Hell' a few moments later, and he was done. It was actually Team Captain Razor Ramon who followed him out of the match after a spinebuster from Faarooq, and the APA began to look dominant. Faarooq went next though, walking onto a 'Big Boot' from Test after a distraction from none other than K-Kwik, the runt of New Generation X, and a man that Test demanded be nowhere near the match tonight!

Eliminations:

X-Pac by Bradshaw... Razor Ramon by Faaroooq... Faarooq by Test...

K-Kwik's arrival actually helped Test to begin with, but after Faarooq was eliminated, it soon became clear why the big man wanted K-Kwik nowhere near this match. The charismatic youngster was at fault for Billy Gunn's elimination at the hands of Bradshaw with another 'Clothesline From Hell'. Kwik had gotten onto the apron, and distracted Gunn! Test argued with Kwik and shoved him off the apron, but then was caught with a Fall Away Slam from the big Texan Bradshaw. Eddie tagged in, headed up to the top rope, and came down on Test with the 'Frog Splash'!

Test was less than impressed with K-Kwik, but the young New Generation X member grabbed a microphone...

K-Kwik:

“Ay yo, Test... MAH BAD, dawg!!”

Kwik shrugged off his involvement in costing Test and co. the match, but Test was furious, and he kicked K-Kwik hard in the chest!! He fell backwards onto the steel ramp, and was clearly in agony!!

Falls Count Anywhere

These two Light Heavyweights flew around the ring to kick things off here. Multiple arm-drags and hip-tosses saw both veterans land hard on a number of occasions. However, it was when the two men exited the ring, and began to fight on the stage that business picked up. Jannetty hit a brilliantly timed back elbow, but as Lynn dropped to a knee, he tackled Jannetty to his back, and the Champion hit the back of his head on the steel stage!! From then on, Lynn was in control, shaking off the elbow to his jaw, and landing some high-impact offence on the hard surface of the stage and surrounding area. Lynn made one crucial error though, as he attempted a moonsault off of some backstage equipment onto the stage, and Jannetty rolled clear, just barely avoiding the contact!! Lynn landed chest and face first on the steel, and Jannetty took full advantage. Moments later, the 'Rocker Dropper' did for Lynn in what was billed as his final opportunity at the Light Heavyweight Title. Where does the veteran go from here?!

Alongside The Rock... A big, strong, man... In The Rock's PRIME!! Going up against four guys who, need to be taken down a peg or two... The Rock says that the Big Guns will SHOOT Undertaker down... and run him... Out of town...!!”

The vacant WWF Tag Team Titles were on the line next, in a very good contest between two young teams that know each other very well. Edge and Christian might think they know The Hardyz well, but Jeff and Matt Hardy are different men since they last met, having gone through a lot of changes in recent months. Matt held the European Title for a while, but was beaten for it by 'The Belt Collector' Chris Jericho. Since then, he and his brother Jeff have gone to a dark, dark place in their careers. Matt's accent has slightly changed, and he seems like a completely different person. Despite not being with them for the start of the match, their 'friends' Lita (Matt's girlfriend) and Senior (Shelton) Benjamin soon joined them at ringside for this one, and were a constant menace. In the end though, Jeff missed his 'Swanton Bomb' off the top rope because Christian pulled Edge out of the way. Matt took Christian over the top rope with a lariat, and it opened the door for Edge to 'Spear' Jeff, almost cutting him in half! Edge and Christian are now 8-time Tag Team Champions in the WWF!

Broken In Defeat

The 'Broken' group of Matt and Jeff Hardy, Lita, and Shelton Benjamin sat in the ring, and we took a look at the next match... Team D'Lo Brown versus Team Kurt Angle... This feud started over a year ago, when D'Lo was on the sidelines, and Angle used his name in a disparaging way... D'Lo has not forgotten it, and has tried to stop Angle's rise... They both assembled teams for tonight, with D'Lo picking the Hardcore Champion: Hardcore Holly... and new tag team William Regal and Dean Malenko... D'Lo joined Regal and Malenko on a trip to the Hardy Compound this past week on Smackdown, and they're unlikely to be at 100% tonight... D'Lo made his entrance first...

He was half-way down the ramp when he realised that Matt, Jeff, Lita and Shelton were still in the ring... Undeterred, he carried on, and climbed in to join them... Shelton exploded into life, and grabbed D'Lo, throwing him up over his head with a Belly-To-Belly Suplex...!! Lita and the Hardyz then put the boots to the fan favourite, particularly Jeff, who was fired up like a wild man!! Despite just competing in a hard-fought match... D'Lo soon got some help though...

Regal and Malenko hit the ring, and started taking down Hardy Boyz one at a time... The two shooters locked them up in holds, but Shelton was able to fight them off... With D'Lo's help though, he and his teammates gained the advantage... Until Lita slid back into the ring with a steel chair...!! She hit D'Lo from behind, dropping the young heavyweight to his knees... He stayed knelt down, and could only watch as Regal and Malenko suffered similar fates... Matt Hardy then hit a 'Twist of Fate' on Regal, before Malenko was put down with a 'T-Bone Suplex' from Shelton... The fourth member of Team D'Lo arrived though...

Holly stood on the apron, as 'House Hardy' begged him to get into the ring... The Hardcore Champion laid his Belt on the floor next to him... Looked up at the sky, and climbed through the ropes... He clobbered the onrushing Jeff Hardy with a big right hand, but it wasn't long before he was taken down, and kept down... Jeff hit a DDT on D'Lo onto the chair that Lita had brought into the ring, and Holly was blasted with the same chair, knocking him out... 'House Hardy' left the ring, only to be replaced by Kurt Angle, and his team of Chris Jericho, Albert, and Perry Saturn...

Angle demanded that the referee count out their fallen opponents, and he did just that... Chad Patton's count was slow and deliberate... No members of Team D'Lo could answer the ten count, and Team Anlge stood in the ring arrogantly... Despite not lifting a finger, they were declared the winners... A decision that D'Lo was furious with, but ultimately could do nothing about...

Grandmaster Of Betrayal

On Smackdown this past week, seven WWF wrestlers visited the 'Hardy Compound' in order to accuse Matt and Jeff Hardy of a series of backstage attacks that had taken place... Right at the start of the night, Grandmaster Sexay shoved his 'best friend' Scotty Too Hotty into danger, and then fled the scene... getting away as quickly as possible... Scotty was on our screens next, talking to Jonathan Coachman about the experience, and about the future of the tag team known as Too Cool...

Scotty Too Hotty:

“It's been an odd week, Coach... And right now, I only know one thing... Grandmaster Sexay... is a PUNK!!... He left me high and dry... He left US... to fend for ourselves... If he'd have stayed, we might have taken Shelton Benjamin out... and it would have changed the whole night for us... Are Too Cool done...?? Damn right Too Cool are done... Will I get an explanation from Sexay himself...?? I don't know... But on RAW tomorrow night... I'm calling him OUT!!”

The Rock was adamant he should start this one, and the well-respected veteran Mr. Perfect began things for his team. It was a great opening few minutes, but the cocky Mr. Perfect provoked Big Show on the apron, and took a big right hand from the Giant. He was then hit with a 'Rock Bottom' from The Rock and pinned! Undertaker was furious to go down a man, but the momentum swung when the referee got knocked down. 'Taker grabbed a lead pipe from his motorcycle while The Dudleyz distracted and provoked Rock's big team, and Rikishi was blasted in the face with the pipe! When the referee came to, Rikishi was pinned after a DDT from D-Von Dudley!

Eliminations:

From the elimination of Rikishi onwards,The Undertaker's team took control. The Dudleyz isolated Big Show, not allowing Team Rock's best weapon to even get to his feet. He did tag Kane into the match in the end, and the big masked man began Chokeslamming Dudley Boyz. He didn't know Undertaker had tagged in though, and his big brother Chokeslammed

him

! Kane was pinned, and with The Rock down on the outside of the ring following a '3D', it left Big Show to get back into the match and fight Undertaker 1 on 1! Show was hurt, having taken a beating for a few minutes out there, and Undertaker made light work of him in the end. Another Chokeslam doing for Show.

Kane and Big Show by The Undertaker...

The Rock found himself down 3 to 1, and he'd recently taken a '3D' on the outside of the ring. However, he had enough about him to 'play possum' against D-Von Dudley who was licking his lips at the prospect of destroying 'The Great One'. As D-Von finally advanced, Rock caught him with a 'Rock Bottom', and the Dudley Brother was eliminated. Bubba and Undertaker still knew they had the beating of Rocky, but it was Bubba who fell victim to the 'Rock Bottom' next, after a brilliant fightback from The Rock. Undertaker watched on as Rocky got his third elimination!

Both Dudley Boyz by The Rock...

The confident 'American Badass' stepped over the top rope, hoisted The Rock up, and dropped him with a 'Tombstone Piledriver'. The exhausted Rock couldn't kick out of the resulting pin, and Undertaker strolled away, happy at his nights work.

A Rock Thrown At A Table

A rough night for The Rock, who had worked hard to eliminate three members of his rival's team on his own, only to fall victim to a quick and decisive Undertaker 'Tombstone Piledriver'... He thought his night was over, but as Undertaker stopped on the stage with his bike still running, he seemed to beckon someone out to the ring... and the Dudley Boyz stomped past him carrying a table under their arms!!

Rock knew what was coming, and he told the Dudleyz to 'Bring It'... They did just that, and it didn't take long for The Rock to find himself picking splinters out of his back... A double spinebuster from Bubba and D-Von ensured that this was one of the roughest nights of Rocky's career... It also ensured that he wouldn't be able to get involved in Triple H's WWF World Heavyweight Title shot, which was on deck next...

'Stone Cold' Steve Austin made his way to the ring first, which isn't customary for the Champion to do. But as he removed his Championship Belt from his shoulder, and handed it to the referee, Triple H's music hit! 'The Game' didn't walk to the ring. He limped to the ring. There was no water bottle gimmicky entrance. He just poured the water over his head, spat some out, and began to speed up his limped amble to more of a limped jog! He slid into the ring, and didn't wait for the opening bell, tackling Austin at the knees and then completely smothering him with punches and forearms! Austin managed to kick Triple H off of him, and scramble out of the ring under the ropes. He shouted at referee Jim Korderas, but he just shrugged and rang the bell to start the match. Triple H hopped out of the ring, and Austin ran! An angry Triple H gave chase. But it soon became clear that Austin wanted him to chase him! Triple H's leg was still giving him trouble, and he began to hobble again! 'The Game' dropped to his knees, and rolled onto his back. His shin was starting to give him a real problem, and he had to cover up seconds later when Austin came back around the ring and began stomping on him!

Austin targeted the previously injured leg, slamming it into the ring steps, and ring post, while constantly breaking the referee's count by sliding in and out of the ring. Austin and Korderas developed a mini-feud within this match, as Austin got in his face every time he rolled into the ring, and then flipped him off every time he rolled out again! The last time he did it though, Korderas gave him the middle finger back!! A move that popped the crowd, and angered Austin!! It took all of his patience to not roll into the ring and hit a 'Stunner' on the referee, but he didn't, instead turning his attention back to Triple H! 'The Game' was lying in wait though, and he hit a drop-toe-hold, which sent Austin flying head-first into the ring steps! It was a much more even fight from then on, but Triple H's knee gave out as he was looking for a 'Pedigree'. This gave Austin the opening he needed to hit his 'Stone Cold Stunner', and even though there could be an argument that Korderas' count was slow, Triple H couldn't kick out. Austin retained in another fantastic match for the WWF World Heavyweight Champion.

Three Man Power Trip

Despite not being needed by Steve Austin tonight, The Undertaker and Vince McMahon strolled to the ring together, to celebrate with their Champion... In truth, Austin, 'Taker and McMahon had already affected the match in the biggest possible way, when the group ran Triple H's leg over with 'Taker's bike... They also ensured The Rock couldn't come out to help 'The Game', when they got the Dudley Boyz to put him through a table...

The show went off the air with the announce team asking if anyone can stand up to the three powerful men...!!
