AEW Dynamite: Awakening is here and promises to be a huge show with even bigger ramifications on AEW. The Good Brothers will take on the Best Friends duo of Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta. Thunder Rosa will defend the NWA World Women's Championship against Team Taz's Leyla Hirsch, who has been on a killing streak since joining the group. Ricky Starks will defend the FTW Championship against Brian Pillman Jr, as Ricky Starks attempts to legitimize the FTW title and pushes for recognition from AEW. Paul Wight, fresh off a victory over Shawn Spears on AEW Rampage, will face MJF in what is undoubtedly MJF's largest test to date. And in the main event, the DREAM MATCH between Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega will finally happen. Danielson is amped up and ready to take AEW by storm, while Kenny Omega looks to shake off his recent losses and reclaim his spot at the greatest of all time.

BONUS: Who debuts at AEW Dynamite: Awakening?

REFRESHER:

Here is a quick refresher on who has debuted in this game, with some examples from IRL AEW of who has not debuted. The debutant for AEW Dynamite: Awakening does not necessarily have to be from this list, but I figured it would help keep things straight!

HAS:

  1. CM Punk - Debuted on the first episode of AEW Dynamite after All Out. Debut was identical to IRL, down to the Darby challenge, this time for the inaugural episode of AEW Rampage in a couple weeks.
  2. Bryan Danielson - Debuted at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam to stop an Elite beatdown on Inner Circle. Not necessarily affiliated with Inner Circle (sort of like Jurassic Express IRL), mostly concerned with Kenny Omega.
  3. Ruby Soho - Debuted on the last episode on Dynamite, confronted AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker, told her to watch her back.
  4. Andrade El Idolo & Thea Trinidad - Debuted together a few months back, Andrade beat Cody at All Out, currently feuding with PAC.
  5. Motor City Machine Guns - Debuted to be a strong veteran presence in the tag team division.
  6. Jacob Fatu - Member of Team Taz

HAS NOT:

  1. Adam Cole
  2. Kyle O'Reilly
  3. Bobby Fish
  4. Malakai Black
  5. Brody King
  6. Lio Rush (technically he did, but I released him day one since he originally retired after Double or Nothing, which was the starting point for this diary)
  7. Kiera Hogan
  8. Julia Hart
  9. Jamie Hayter
  10. Jay Lethal
  11. Lee Moriarty
  12. Tony Nese

Loving this as much as ever! Really captures the spirit of AEW, IMO.

Bryan Danielson vs. Kenny Omega: DRAW

Very curious to see how you book this one. Will you roll with the draw as they dd IRL? A loss would shatter Omega's confidence, which could have some interesting consequences....

Paul Wight vs. MJF

In the words of MJF, Wight winning would be "muh-muh-muh-MID" lol.

NWA WORLD WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP: Thunder Rosa © vs. Leyla Hirsch

I could see Hirsch winning, but my money's on Rosa.

FTW CHAMPIONSHIP: Ricky Starks © vs. Brian Pillman Jr.

Best Friends vs. The Good Brothers

Tough to call, but I'm rolling with the power of friendship.

</div><hr>

<div align="left">1. FTW CHAMPIONSHIP: Ricky Starks © def. Brian Pillman Jr - Dynamite: Awakening starts off hot with Team Taz's Ricky Starks successfully defending his unsanctioned title against Brian Pillman Jr.

Will Hobbs joined Starks in the ring after the match. Ricky got on the microphone and said that the FTW Championship deserves recognition from All Elite Wrestling. Before he could say anything else, former FTW champion Brian Cage came out and stood on the top of the ramp. Cage said that the only reason he lost the title was because of Jeff Cobb's interference, and that he deserves another match. Ricky told Cage that Team Taz was the only thing that kept Cage relevant. Before anything else could be said, Jeff Cobb came out of the heel tunnel and attacked Cage from behind. He threw Cage into the ring and Will Hobbs hit a running powerslam on Cage. Ricky said that Brian Cage is done, and no title matches of any kind will be coming his way in AEW ever again.

We received a pre-recorded video for the Bastard, PAC. First he's coming for Andrade El Idolo, and then he's coming for the AEW World title. The Bastard has been held back for far too long, so now he's taking it all alongside the Death Triangle.

2. NWA WORLD WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP: Thunder Rosa © def. Leyla Hirsch - Thunder Rosa continues her incredible streak of great matches as she defeated Leyla Hirsch to give the Team Taz member her first loss since joining the faction last month.

Alex Marvez was backstage with Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara. Jericho said that he and Sammy would be working in the tag team division full time as Le Sex Gods. They planned on working their way up the rankings and earning a tag title match, even if that match is against their brothers Santana & Ortiz.

3. Best Friends def. Good Brothers - Chuckie T and Trent Beretta upset the Good Brothers in a fast-paced, action-packed contest. The crowd popped big after the Awful Waffle on Karl Anderson got them the victory.

AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page came to the ring armed with a microphone. He said that to be the best, you gotta beat the best. He already beat Kenny once, and now Kenny has a match with Bryan Danielson. If Danielson really is the best, he not only has to beat Kenny Omega, but will also need to take on the man who holds the highest prize in professional wrestling: the Hangman. And if Kenny wants to get even with the man who beat him at All Out, he has to beat Danielson first. Hangman laid out a challenge: he will face the winner of tonight's dream match between Danielson and Omega at AEW Full Gear the last Saturday of November.

4. MJF def. Paul Wight - In a match better than it had any right to be, MJF put down the behemoth Paul Wight, thanks to constant interference from Shawn Spears and Wardlow. The finish came with MJF landing two right shots with the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

MJF, near-dead after the match, was helped to his feet by Spears and Wardlow, with FTR coming down to hoist MJF onto their shoulders. Wardlow held his back up to keep him upright as the Pinnacle paraded a semi-conscious MJF around the ring after his win.

Alex Marvez was in the interview area with Andrade El Idolo and Thea Trinidad. Marvez asked them about PAC's ominous threats towards them, to which Trinidad responded that they are well aware of what PAC is capable of to a normal person, but Andrade is "tranquilo" and can keep his composure against the Bastard. Marvez told Andrade that right before the interview, he received word that Andrade would be in competition on this Friday's AEW Rampage in a match against Wheeler Yuta. Andrade laughed at it, and told Wheeler Yuta that Andrade El Idolo will teach the boy a thing or two inside the ring.

Tony Schiavone was in the ring for the special announcement regarding AEW's schedule. Schiavone said that in addition to weekly episodes of AEW Dynamite and Rampage and the four yearly pay-per-views, starting in 2022, there would be four quarterly specials coming to TNT titled AEW SuperBrawl! Just like the pay-per-views, these specials will be taking place every twelve weeks, and will feature marquee matchups that rival any pay-per-view. The first special will take place the second Saturday of January 2022, and will be called AEW SuperBrawl: UK Special, hailing from the First Direct Arena in Leeds.

Before the monumental main event tonight, the announce team ran down the card for this Friday's AEW Rampage. In the main event, AEW World Tag Team Champions Santana & Ortiz will make their first defense against the Best Friends, Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta, after the challengers' win tonight over the Good Brothers. Former AEW Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida will face The Bunny in what is primed to be The Bunny's biggest chance yet at making a splash in singles competition. To open Rampage, Andrade El Idolo will take on the Best Friends protege and red-hot up and comer Wheeler Yuta.

5. Bryan Danielson def. Kenny Omega - In the ultimate dream match, Bryan Danielson bested Kenny Omega after a 34 minute, five-star contest. The crowd was on their feet from start to finish. Kenny looked to have the match won after a One Winged Angel, but Danielson's foot was in the ropes, leading to the referee stopping the count. A series of knees from Danielson and a nasty Tiger Driver set up the Cattle Mutilation, which caused Kenny to pass out. Danielson's first match in AEW is a clean win.

Danielson celebrated after the match and soaked in the applause. He would eventually head to the back, leaving Kenny alone in the ring. As Kenny was sitting on his knees, the crowd slowly began a "THANK YOU KENNY" chant, but before it could get going, the lights went out. A small roar from the crowd began to grow larger and larger before the lights came back on…

ADAM COLE!

Adam Cole was standing behind the kneeled Kenny. Before Kenny realized anyone else was in the ring, Cole gave him a Last Call to the back of the head. The Young Bucks sprinted down to the ring and shoved Cole away. They were arguing with the man they "killed" four years ago. The Good Brothers joined by sprinting down to the ring and helping Kenny to his feet. The trio of Kenny, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows stood off with the Young Bucks and Adam Cole. After a long staredown, the Bucks nodded to Cole and superkicked Kenny in the face as he was held up by Anderson and Gallows. The Good Brothers stood dumbfounded, before smiles crept across their faces and the five men standing embraced in the ring.

Adam Cole grabbed a microphone and said that Kenny Omega was no longer Elite, because the Elite does not have losers. As Kenny was slipping further into his losing streak, he got a call from his old friends Matt and Nick Jackson, who said that they needed Cole to pick up the slack that Kenny was leaving behind. And now here they stand, the most dominant faction in the history of this business. The Superkliq, the TRUE Elite, the ones who started this movement years before All Elite Wrestling was ever a thought, has awakened.

A special thanks goes out to Hollywood for helping me craft the new layout for shows! I used a lot of his template for my shows anyway, so having him tweak some things to make it look even better is great.

<font face="Roboto"><font size="6"><b>AEW RAMPAGE</b></font>

<font size="4">FRIDAY WEEK 3, OCTOBER 2021</font></font>

<font face="Roboto">

<hr>

<div align="left">After the thrilling conclusion to AEW Dynamite: Awakening which not only saw Bryan Danielson defeat Kenny Omega, but also Adam Cole debut and take out Kenny Omega, All Elite Wrestling returned with AEW Rampage. The show opened with Bryan Danielson coming to the ring. Still banged up from two nights prior, Danielson said that he felt better than ever. He thanked Kenny Omega for their match, but that is not why he was out there. After the match, Danielson watched the rest of the show back, and saw what Hangman Adam Page said. The AEW World champion laid out a challenge to the winner of the dream match, and Danielson was here to say that he accepts this challenge. As the crowd chanted "YES," the theme of the Bastard PAC hit the arena. PAC, dressed in full ring gear, stood at the top of the ramp with a microphone while the crowd gave him cheers. He said that he does not approve of Bryan Danielson coming to AEW, winning one match, and getting a title show. PAC reminded everyone that he defeated Kenny Omega in his first ever AEW match, just as Danielson did, and never got a title match for it. PAC walked to the ring, and said that Danielson should follow the same path that everyone else in AEW has to follow. Danielson said that he is the greatest of all time, and when a GOAT walks into a company, he goes the GOAT treatment, and that is why Hangman challenged him. PAC and Danielson got nose to nose before a crew of referees and officials came to the ring to separate them before they could come to blows.

1. Andrade El Idolo def. Wheeler Yuta - Andrade was able to best the Best Friends protégé in just under ten minutes, despite Yuta nearly coming out on top on more than one occasion.

After the match, Thea Trinidad got on the microphone and said that PAC has a big mouth on him for being such a little man. Everyone in AEW wants a shot at the champion, and Andrade is one of them. If that means they need to go through PAC and maybe Bryan Danielson to get there, then so be it.

IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley cut a pre-taped promo backstage with TNT Champion Eddie Kingston standing by. Moxley said that everyone knows who he was calling out when he asked for the ACE of New Japan Pro Wrestling. He wants the man who stood at the top of the company for fifteen years. But another man felt like he wanted a piece of Mox, to take the title away from him. This Wednesday, Minoru Suzuki better show up in his Pancrase gear, with his UWFi moveset and his NJPW attitude, because the Murder Grandpa has never faced a man like Jon Moxley.

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes came to the ring in a ludicrous entrance. He said that he was out here to give a reason for his attack on Miro a couple weeks back on the inaugural AEW Rampage. He said that in the last few months in AEW, his stock has fallen a bit. After vanquishing the NWA invasion in the summer, he wrestled the man we just saw defeat a young, rising star. Andrade El Idolo defeated Cody at All Out, and that has been bugging him. Cody said that he already has the self-inflicted wound of never challenging for the AEW World title ever again, so there is a limit to how high he can rise in this company. If he can't be a titleholder, he wants to do the next best thing, and that is show the world that if he could, he would be champion. That is why he attacked Miro two weeks ago, because Miro is the toughest son of a bitch in the company, and taking on and beating him means that he goes right back to the top, gets all the big matches, and makes all the big money. Next week on AEW Rampage, it will be Miro vs. Cody Rhodes!

2. Hikaru Shida def. The Bunny - Shida continues her quest to once again reclaim her spot as the best woman in All Elite Wrestling.

We received a promo package from the Professor of Professional Wrestling, Serena Deeb said that she is a world-traveled veteran, and it is about time she gets treated like one. She is coming for the women in AEW, and that means she is gunning for both the AEW Women's World title, and the NWA World Women's title.

CM Punk came to the ring. He invited Darby Allin to come out and join him. He said that when he looks at Darby, it's like looking through a time machine to a 2003 CM Punk. He told Darby that the two of them are more alike than he thinks, and that he wants Darby to become twice the star that he ever was. Before anything else could be said, two men ran in from the back and laid out both of them with lead pipes. Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page, the Men of the Year, put the boots to the duo. Sky locked Darby into a leglock while Ethan hit an Ego's Edge on Punk. Ethan grabbed a mic and said that he talked to Tony Khan, and there will be a tag team match on Dynamite this Wednesday. And right now, they want to give them a taste of what is to come. Sky grabbed a chair and began to wrap it around Darby's neck when the music of Lance Archer hit. The Murderhawk Monster ran to the ring to scare them off and helped the wounded Darby and Punk to their feet.

The announce team ran down the card for this Wednesday's Dynamite. Jon Moxley will defend the IWGP United States Championship against NJPW's Minoru Suzuki. The Guv'nor will take on Jurassic Express's Marko Stunt. Ruby Soho will face Rebel in singles action. The Acclaimed's Anthony Bowens will face one of AEW's newest talents in Altisimo. And in the main event, the Men of the Year will face the newfound alliance of CM Punk and Darby Allin.

3. AEW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: Santana & Ortiz © def. Best Friends - In an incredibly solid main event, the champions retained their titles over the Best Friends duo of Chuckie T and Trent Beretta. After the match, the two teams shook and played to the crowd as AEW Rampage went off the air.
