Really loving the mod guys! Was holding off playing TEW2020 until there was a new ThunderVerse, not been disappointed. You guys have such eye for detail.

 

I'm playing as AEW as I really want to knock Shane Allman off his perch and bring back sports entertainment.

 

Its my first time running popularity based fed and its a lot harder for me than a workrate fed.

 

I don't have enough guys that are super over to do consistently good ratings but good enough for our current size. If I put any combination of my top 4 guys in a match I can get 80 ratings but anything else struggles to break 70 at the moment and just those 4 working together gets old fast.

 

Also, **** you Riley Johansen. Looks like a million dollars but he tanks every match I put him in and can't even talk. He's not got good enough psychology to call in the ring but also has 'scatter brained' so he forgets the match if you script it. There's money in the guy I'm sure but I can't figure out to get a decent match out of him - any ideas?

Sorry mate, didn't see anybody replied. Yeah, even a tag team with Daryl Lance couldn't help with this guy - he tanked absolutely everything! Jobbed him out to my undercard and cut him loose ages ago.

Just a little post to say that we'll be releasing an additional workers DLC pack this week at some point (25th probably, not that there is anything else important happening on that date or anything! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />)</p><p> </p><p>

As it stands, there will be 85 new workers for you all to enjoy and use with a mix of older heads and younger studs waiting to take over the Thunderverse world.</p><p> </p><p>

My plan, for now, is to release two versions of the DLC. One as a standalone version and then an updated database that fully integrates the DLC into the base mod. My reasoning is that the standalone can allow you to integrate the workers into an existing save without having to stare down a massive list of workers when importing.</p><p> </p><p>

There will also be an updated DB with a few minor fixes done. Once again, there will be two downloads - one DB with no DLC added and the DLC integrated DB.</p><p> </p><p>

This way it gives people plenty of choice and you'll not miss anything major if you choose to not download the new characters.</p><p> </p><p>

Got through everything I wanted to do early and figured rather than arbitrarily wait a day, anyone waiting could open one Christmas present early and get the Thunderverse Christmas now.

 

As per the last post I made, there are now three download links and two flavours of Thunderverse to download, these being the vanilla version and the DLC version (handily named ThunderversePlus). Additionally, the DLC is available as a standalone data set for ease of importing into existing saves - there has been one worker slightly renamed (Jarko Pukki to Jarkko Pukki) in the full version which means you'd end up with a duplicate there if you were to import directly from TVerse+.

 

Enough waffling from me though, links below. I'll maybe post a list of the workers itself but it's 85 names long and that's too much effort for me.

Is there a way to disable the 'faceless' gens from showing up in the game and only having regens keep the database stable? Or are gens required to keep the T-Verse stable over the long term?

 

Fogged on this cause my brain's been a touch unwired over the last couple of days. I don't know if there is a way to disable them in TEW20 since the entire dojo system got reworked and despite spending years (plural) on this mod with jhd from start to finish, I don't actually know how TEW20 works.

 

As for the gens being required, we've tried to make the mod skew younger so that the already created guys stick around as long as possible but gens are a necessary evil. I think so anyway, someone smarter than me can confirm.

Added! I think I had assumed it was already set somehow when I packaged everything up instead of taking like the extra day to not do the gimmick of a Christmas release.

 

I'll have a look through everything reported across here & Discord for a patch soon, that'll also include the rest of the WrestleX additional characters because doing them a pack at a time has led to them...not being posted at all. Oops.
