I like to write first and then plug it into TEW. I'm already working on writing the second week of TV. We're looking to keep a (mostly) real world schedule of Raw on Mon, SD on Fri and PPVs on Sundays. At some point we'll get delayed and then have to work ourselves back on track.

6 days? Oh man, do you realize how many NXT people are going to get fired after TakeOver since Johnny Ace wants to ruin NXT like he did OVW in 2005? You might want to hurry that up or delay it until after the purge (number 10 or so). Or maybe you want to actually keep NXT playable and fun with talent instead of lumbering oafs? Definitely can't wait to read it.

To prevent the real WWE from going nuts and/or screwing with plans we had (which was a realistic fear), we froze rosters as of July 31. All future decisions or hiring's and firing's will be decided by us.

As the show begins the arena is packed and the crowd looks excited. They grow even more animated when some familiar music begins to play.

Stephanie Mcmahon makes her way down to the ring and accepts a microphone from ringside.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to MONDAY NIGHT Raw!!!!

As many of you saw on social media this morning we are in a new beginning. Here on Raw, Bobby Lashley, Nikki A.S.H., along with AJ Styles and Omos are back there and you’ll see them tonight but the question is, who else will you see?

My father likes to say it’s time to shake things up. Well, this wasn’t a shake up, it was a 10.0 on the Richter Scale. A new roster for the Raw franchise bringing new matches, new interactions, and most importantly, new entertainment for all of you. The same type of surprise will await everyone this Friday on FOX for Friday Night Smackdown.

But before I go, there is one more item of business. Both Raw and Friday Night Smackdown will be under new leadership. These Franchise Owners will be out to make their Franchise the very best that it can be. So, San Diego, are you ready to meet the new Owner of Monday Night Raw?!

JBL comes down to the ring and shakes hands with Stephanie, who hands him the microphone and leaves the ring.

“The first thing I want to tell you is that Raw is in great hands. In fact it’s in the hands of a Wrestling…..GOD. Now folks, as you well know I have done remarkably well for myself when it comes to finance. You might say JBL is the patron saint of Wall Street. So when I had the opportunity to invest, to purchase, to own Monday Night Raw I jumped at the chance. And I knew I was in for the adventure of a lifetime because other than the Champions of this Franchise, even I didn’t know until this morning who was going to be on my roster. That is the kind of challenge that I thrive on and the kind that I chew up and spit out. So what will Raw be like under my benevolent leadership? Well, I can give you a few guarantees. You will be entertained, you will be excited, and we will kick the living hell out of Friday Night Smackdown!”

JBL’s music plays as we go to the announcers in the wake of this monumental announcement.

Jimmy Smith is sitting with Corey Graves and Byron Saxon. He welcomes us to one of the biggest nights in the history of Raw. Graves talks up the surprise of JBL being the new Owner of the Raw franchise while Saxon mentions his excitement to see who’s come to Raw and concern about who’s left the franchise in the shuffle. Smith says his guess is as good as anyone’s but he’s excited to find out!

CARMELLA VS ALIYAH

Aliyah is the underdog in this match and she plays it to the hilt. Carmella makes her Raw debut and in her usual fashion she controls the vast majority of the match always wanting to show off and flaunt herself for the crowd. When she finally locks in the Code of Silence, she causes Aliyah to quickly tap out.

Otis is staring into the camera with menace while Gable does the talking. “Sarah, when it comes to the Alpha Academy the standard is the standard. And the goal for us is always winning championships. This is a new opportunity for both of us and we intend to seize that opportunity. Every team in this franchise is now on notice!”

Gable slaps Otis on the shoulder and they walk away.

The sounds of an electric guitar cut through the arena as Rick Boogs comes out from the back and begins to play the theme of King Nakamura. The announcers are thrilled at the news that King Nakumura has come to Raw from the SmackDown franchise. His royal highness soon comes into view and they head to the ring for the next match.

More competitive than our earlier match, Garza shows some great athleticism and gets a close two count following a hurricanrana off the top but it’s Boogs on the outside who begins playing and it revs up the King who begins blasting Garza with several strong-style strikes. With Garza on his knees and dazed, Nakamura hits the Kinshasa for the three count.

Nakamura quickly comes to his aid and runs Rollins off. Seth yells that this is ‘only the beginning!’ as he heads up the aisle. Seth Rollins is now on Raw!

Apollo soaks in the boos with a smile. “So here I am, YOUR Intercontinental Champion. And like the fools from SmackDown I can tell you do not appreciate the greatness of the Nigerian Prince or the brutality of Commander Azeez, but here me now. We will make you appreciate us. We will give you no other alternative. And if you choose not to……”

Damian Priest comes down to the ring, shaking his head. “Apollo, everyone in this arena knows how talented you are. Everyone knows how strong and tough this guy is. You seem to be mistaking the fact they recognize those things with the fact that, well, they also think you’re both complete asses.” Priest grins with the crowd. “But I’m not out here to tell you that I’m here to tell you I want that thing you got around your waist and now that you’re on Raw, I’m first in line.”

Apollo waves it off. “You don’t get to call any shots here, you haven’t done anything to deserve that. But if you want to earn a chance, you can face my Commander right now.”

Priest doesn’t waste any time removing his vest and looking like he’s ready. As a referee runs down to the ring Jimmy Smith tells us it seems like we’ll have a match right after the break.

Azeez uses his pure strength and size advantage early on, punishing Priest from corner to corner. Priest can barely get a moment to breathe without the larger man hammering him with power moves. Priest barely kicks out when Azeez delivers a running powerslam. When the action spills to the outside, Crews delivers a stiff clothesline behind the referee’s back. But the Archer of Infamy battles back and stuns the larger man in the corner when Azeez charges in with a back elbow. That’s when Crews gets on the apron distracting both the referee and Priest. They begin jawwing at each other but then Azeez charges from behind Priest dodges and sends the Commander right into his boss, knocking Crews off the apron to the floor. Azeez staggers back and Priest rolls him up for the win.

JBL puts his hands up. “You took a hell of a beating last night at Summerslam and our medical staff wants you to take the week off and rest. I can’t risk you getting really injured.”

“YOU don’t concern yourself with the Queen. I can handle myself and let me just put all my cards on the table. You have me for one year and then it’s time for me to sign a new deal. And if I don’t think you view me properly maybe I’ll just go be the SmackDown Women's Champion again. Are we clear?”

JBL nods as she turns and storms out. He leans back in his chair, steepling his fingers.

“Women.”

The arena is dark and then…….

Following that entrance Kross simply decimates Truth as soon as the bell rings. Truth gets in zero offense as Kross hits the Saito Suplex, followed by a crushing forearm to the back of the head and finally the Kross Jacket which ends the match.

Kross releases the move and is about to leave the ring when he turns and locks it back on Truth. As the bell rings, Kevin Owens runs down to the ring and rips Kross off of Truth. They have a brief staredown before Kross slips to the outside at Scarlett’s request. He points at Owens as he backs up the aisle with a sadistic glare.

But since we were broken apart things have been happening and that means this briefcase. So if I may be so bold, I’d like to ask Bobby Lashley to come out here because I have something man to man I want to say to him.”

The Almighty Raw World Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP come out but stay in the aisle. Lashley is staring a hole through the New Day as MVP speaks.

“Who the hell do you think you are? You think because you won a stupid ladder match you can call out the Almighty? You think you’re worth my time, let alone his?! Son, you better recognize the road you’re walking. Ask your little buddies there what it’s like to be in the ring with Bobby Lashley and how they felt afterwards.”

Big E cuts him off. “Oh I have talked to Kofi. I have talked to Woods. I have watched the matches. I’ve watched almost every match Bobby Lashley has ever had. Title matches. Battle of the Billionaire matches. Matches from outside this company. And I have come to the conclusion that Bobby Lashley, I am the man who will take that title from you. The question is where and when. This briefcase as you so eloquently put it that I won in a stupid ladder match puts the POWEEEEEEEER in my hands. You’re the one looking over your shoulder. You’re the one wondering when I’ll appear. You’re the one losing sleep and you better catch your Z’s champ because when I catch you with the Big Ending that world title is coming back to the New Day!”

As the New Day begins to dance to the music again Lashley just stares coldly as we go to break.

AJ has Omos start the match and it goes about as you’d expect. Nothing Metalik or Lince do hurts him, more than a momentary stun when Dorado hits a dropkick off the top and even then he doesn’t go down. When it’s attempted again, Omos swats him out of the air like King Kong knocking down a plane. Then it’s AJ’s turn to pick the bones and when he hits Metalik with the Styles Clash it’s just 123.

AJ and Omos are just leaving the ring when……….

The Street Profits make their return to Raw, red solo cups in hand. They walk down to the ring side by side until they’re standing in front of the Tag Team Champions. With big smiles matching the smug look of AJ and Omos they announce loudly that indeed they ...want...the smoke!

We go to commercial break with both teams standing their ground.

When we return, Alexa is sitting on a swing in her playground brushing Lily’s hair when she notices a black envelope on another swing which hadn’t been there a moment before. She picks it up, looking it over.

“Let’s see what we have here.” She opens the envelope and removes a letter.

“All things come to an end. All power returns to its source. All light is extinguished into darkness. So it is with you. The playground is closed. I release you.”

Alexa looks around the playground. “Well that’s just silly, isn't it Lil…..”

Suddenly Alexa isn’t in the playground, she’s backstage sitting on a cargo trunk. Her dark makeup is gone and her hair is normal. And laying next to her is the most innocent looking Raggedy Ann doll. She slowly looks around, then down at her hands, tightening them into fists.

“The Goddess….is back”

Alexa hops off the trunk and heads down the hall leaving the doll where it is.

We’re then shown a split screen of Nia Jax on the left and Nikki A.S.H. on the right walking through the backstage hallways. The main event is next!

Nikki is full of optimism and she goes toe to toe with Nia but it doesn’t go well for her. Jax batters the champion around the ring with Nikki kicking out of a few pinfall attempts which only makes Nia angrier. This anger leads to a major mistake when she attempts to charge Nikki in the corner only to go shoulder first to the post. Nikki makes her heroic comeback and seems to have Nia where she wants her when she climbs to the top and flies off with a cross body block but Nia catches her in mid air and runs her into the corner before backing up and slamming her down. With Nikki on her back near the corner, Nia climbs to the second rope, bouncing a few times, and comes off with a Vader splash. The referee counts to three as the bell rings and the boos begin.

WINNER BY PINFALL AND NEW RAW WOMEN’S CHAMPION: NIA JAX

We have a new Raw Women’s Champion in Nia Jax! The inspiring run of Nikki A.S.H. is over and the question now for Raw is, who on earth can stop the domination of the new Raw Women’s Champion?

As Nia celebrates in the ring, we cut back to JBL’s office. We can see the new owner of the Raw franchise but we don’t see who he’s sitting across from.

“Well let me tell you this is a big deal for us at Raw. A talent of your caliber should feel right at home here and I can promise you that you will be given every opportunity to shine when we feel the time is right for you to make your grand entrance. Now if you’ll just sign here….”

He slides a contract across the desk and we hear the scratching of a pen. JBL pulls it back with a smile.

“Welcome to Raw”

A little behind the curtain on this: neither myself or Pipers Pit knew what the rosters we would get were. We had them randomly generated. So JBL’s promo was as much of a shoot as we can make it.

Did you guys randomly generate by position on the card or was it totally random? Like was it possible for you to have 0 main eventers?

We knew the champs (aside from us and ic) were staying put. we assigned everyone a number based alphabetically and had a random number generator pick the rosters. I will admit twice (I think?) tag teams got split up that we wanted to keep together so we did a little horse trading but 95% of raw and sd were computer picked.
