SPLASH! : IT'S NOT JUST COMEDY - THUNDERVERSE DIARY

THE BEGINNING

Opened in 2016, SPLASH! is a wrestling company based in Japan. But, since their creation, they have shown that they are not quite like the other wrestling reference in the country, such as UPJ or DIASPORA. Sure, you can watch exciting wrestling bout, in the upcard of the shows. But that's not the main focus of SPLASH!. Instead, they like to showcase lots of funny storylines or matches. The product ends up being really fun for the audience, with wrestlers showing lots of personnality, like a groupe of rappers, a wrestler who thinks he is a human crash test, or a group of so-called "americans" who loves to hangout at the beach.</div>

WHAT NOW ?

With Ken Noguri as the owner, and Bairei Imaizumi (my avatar) as the booker, SPLASH! is in good hands ! But as the company grows, they will need to make some adjustements to become more popular. We learned that the duo made some big decisions for 2021 :

- Some new wrestlers will join the ship to give more strength to the roster.

- A new schedule will take place, with to "finale event" : All-Asia Wrestle Spectacle in june and Blood of Zeus in december. And to give more special events to the audience, four tournaments will be created during the year. Just wait to see what's in store.

- The purpose for all these changes is to make SPLASH! a little bit more serious and to be accessible to a new audience. However, the comedy part of the company will remain because it is the DNA of SPLASH!

WELCOME TO THE NEW GUYS !

Led by Bairei Imaizumi, SPLASH! announced just today the 12 new wrestlers who will join the roster. Some serious wrestlers who comes to win the big gold, and other a little bit less serious but who can make an impact in the company.

It's a tough one because HUSTLE is a top name but ICHIBEI made a definite impression at Stop That Rhino. I think shenanigans will cost Idaji the match.
