SWF has reportedly invested $25M to launch its own global internet subscription service. SWF Network will have very big coverage in USA and a medium coverage in the rest of the world. This is another step in their strategy to become a global company after hiring world stars Tommy Cornell and Steve Frehley in the past months. The company announced that SWF events and RIPW events will be available on the network and also a new TV show called RIPW Next Gen will showcase their future stars.

KITSUNE Pro Wrestling officially opened in Kyushu, Japan. The company founded by Dark Eagle has a Junior Heavyweight Action style. Nichiren Amagawa and SPEED D are the biggest names in the roster.

 

· LAP THIS IS LUCHA DESTROYS CZCW COAST TO COAST IN THE CALIFORNIAN MONDAY NIGHT WARS

After 5 months of absence This Is Lucha (67) was back for a show full of debuts that clearly edged out Coast To Coast (60). Miss American Pie had a great first entrance, but the biggest surprise of the night was in the first match when Masked Cougar, one of the stars of CZCW, teamed up again with Snap Dragon, another former CZCW star, to bring back The Lords Of Xtreme. A hard hit from which CZCW could not recover during the night and it only got worse when the Main Event of Coast To Coast, a trios match where Cali Slick and Going Coastal defeated Waylon Walls and The Beach Boys (63), was surpassed by Chess Maniac defeating Sunburst to win the LAP People's championship (64).

Alfonso Garcia: We have a stacked card tonight. Up to three great Escalera De Oro Qualifying Matches: Remmy Skye vs Marc Speed, Frogue Element vs Hijo Del Relampago and Axxis Jr vs Frederique Antonio Garcia. LAP Lucha champion Samael The Executioner makes his second title defence against Amazing Fire Fly. And in the Main Event, LAP Parejas champions Perez Xtreme defend the titles against Torneo De Parejas 2021 winners Panther & The Foxx.

Alfonso Garcia: In the first Escalera De Oro Qualifying Match of the night, Remmy Skye vs Marc Speed.

 

Mac Smith: This is Remmy Skye's first match since he lost the LAP Lucha title and his unbelievable unbeaten streak in singles matches. Everybody knows who Marc Speed is and he is making his second appearance in LAP after participating in the Gran Batalla De América II battle royal match where he was eliminated by El Toro De Oro Jr, who finished as runner-up.

 

Cueball Lynch: It's an epic match to open this show, Mac.

REMMY SKYE vs MARC SPEED

Good match to work the crowd. "Remmy, Remmy!" chants during the first minutes while Marc Speed was trying to slow down the former LAP Lucha champion using holds. Speed pinned Skye after taking him down with a double arm trap but he kicked out at 1. Minutes later Remmy got rid of Speed with a flying kick and crashed on him with a suicide dive. Remmy Skye hit Marc Speed with the Skye Diver to secure a place in the Escalera De Oro II Ladder Match.

Cueball Lynch: Marc Speed looks very frustrated looking at the celebrations in the crowd after this loss guys.

 

 

Alfonso Garcia: In the next match,  Las Gatas, Perez & Torres and Tex-Mex fight for a title shot at the Women's Parejas titles.

 

Mac Smith: This is an opportunity these tag teams can't afford to pass up. 3-time LAP Women's Parejas champions Lilly & Rose wait for new challengers in this match!

LAS GATAS (HELLCAT HERNANDEZ & DARKNESS CAT) vs PEREZ & TORRES (PINKY PEREZ & MARIANA TORRES) vs TEX-MEX (HOUSTON HANDLEY & TERESA PEREZ)

The girls stole the show in a match where everyone got involved. Hellcat Hernandez set the tone early in the match, but then Pinky Perez's performance was above everyone else. Teresa Perez came up as the surprising factor when she submitted Darkness Cat with the Around The World Armbar. Houston Handley hugged her partner right after Darkness Cat tapped out and Tex-Mex will face the champions.

Alfonso Garcia: In the second qualifying match of the night, Frogue Element vs Hijo Del Relampago.

 

Cueball Lynch: Hijo Del Relampago is 9-2-0 in singles competition in LAP and Axxis Jr is the only wrestler that has defeated him in LAP. Frogue Element is 4-5-0 in 2021 in 1vs1 matches. They have met just one time and it was Relampago who won the match.

 

Escalera De Oro II Qualifying Match

FROGUE ELEMENT vs HIJO DEL RELAMPAGO

Great match full of dangerous aerial moves. Frogue Element had a strong start but Relampago quickly activated his fierce defensive strategy and it was really difficult for the aussie to hurt his opponent. Relampago changed his strategy around the fifth minute to take more risks attacking his opponent but Frogue Element connected a good combination and then went for the Fro' Splash. 1... 2... No! Relampago kicked out at 2. Later Relampago grabs Frogue and then Frogue pushes him and rebounds off the ropes... ReKO!!! ReKO out of nowhere! 1, 2, 3! Hijo Del Relampago advances to the Escalera De Oro II Ladder Match.

Hijo Del Relampago def. Frogue Element via pinfall (Rating: 67, Time: 8')

 

Mac Smith: Probably one of the best performances by Frogue in LAP but it wasn't enough to beat Relampago.

 

 

Alfonso Garcia: In the last qualifying match of the night, Axxis Jr vs Frederique Antonio Garcia.

 

Mac Smith: Supercopa De La Lucha II winner Axxis Jr is still unbeaten in 1vs1 matches in LAP with a record of 15-0-0.

 

Cueball Lynch: It's a tremendous mark for the Mexican legend. Frederique Antonio Garcia is one of the highest paid wrestlers in the company, he has been a challenger for the LAP Lucha title in the past months and is a real force that cannot be denied. Frederique will also have Grace and Jagged by his side with all the things that it involves.

 

Escalera De Oro II Qualifying Match

AXXIS JR vs FREDERIQUE ANTONIO GARCIA (w/ Grace Harper & Jagged)

They stole the show in this short match. The crowd welcomed Axxis chanting his name and booed Grace and her clients. Grace and Jagged repeatedly mocked and insulted Axxis from the ringside and the distraction was good for Frederique to take advantage with a backbreaker. Frederique pinned Axxis but he kicked out at 1. "Axxis, Axxis!" chants in Santa Clara as he was making his comeback a few minutes later hitting Frederique with a couple of clotheslines before Jagged grabbed his foot from the outside. Frederique wanted to capitalize but Axxis hit Jagged with the elbow and then kicked Frederique from the floor. Axxis hit Frederique with a Double Axxe Drop before he delivered his finisher the Gravity Axxisault. 1, 2, 3!

Alfonso Garcia: And Axxis Jr advances to the Escalera De Oro II Ladder Match!

 

 

Alfonso Garcia: Time for another match, El Hijo Del Neutron takes on Scarlet Scarab.

 

Cueball Lynch: This is the first singles match for El Hijo Del Neutron after Jagged & Frederique defeated Segunda Generación and they were forced to break the tag team. I think this match against Scarlet Scarab will be a big test for El Hijo Del Neutron to see what can he offer as a singles competitor.

 

EL HIJO DEL NEUTRON vs SCARLET SCARAB

The longest match of the night was all about storytelling. After a long phase of grappling where Scarlet Scarab clearly dominated his opponent using arm drags and leg locks, the match became much more open and it was then when Neutron showed his aerial moves and the complexity of the match changed. Neutron hit Scarab with a senton, but Scarab replied with an O'Hararana. Scarab pinned Neutron but he kicked out at 2. After a resilient performance, Neutron hit Scarab with the Neutron Gun to win the match.

El Hijo Del Neutron def. Scarlet Scarab via pinfall (Rating: 55, Time: 17')

 

 

Joanne Rodriguez: I'm here to make an important announcement. Next week This Is Lucha will return to Puerto Rico! And it will be an historic episode because for the first time ever, before and after the acquisition of FCW, there will be a Women's division match in Puerto Rico. And it won't be a regular match, LAP Women's champion Raven Nightfall will defend the title vs Electric Dreamer in the Main Event.

Alfonso Garcia: Now it's time for the LAP Lucha championship, Samael The Executioner makes his second defence vs Amazing Fire Fly.

 

Mac Smith: Samael The Executioner is unbeaten in 1vs1 matches and owns record of 15-0-0. He makes a terrific duo with his manager and LAP Women's champion Raven Nightfall, she seems to be the mastermind behind his meteoric ascension in the company. Amazing Fire Fly parted ways with his tag team partner Rapido this week This Is Lucha and he was interrupted by Samael and Raven who laughed at him and challenged him to this title match.

 

Cueball Lynch: Amazing Fire Fly was one of Samael's toughest opponents in the Gran Batalla De América II battle royal match where Samael got the opportunity to challenge for the LAP Lucha title. I hope that Amazing Fire Fly will end this absurd reign of terror.

 

LAP LUCHA CHAMPIONSHIP

SAMAEL THE EXECUTIONER (w/ Raven Nightfall) (c) vs AMAZING FIRE FLY

They completely stole the show in this spectacular match. Amazing Fire Fly almost copied Remmy Skye's strategy against the monster, using a lot of footwork and avoiding as much contact as possible to start the match. Amazing Fire Fly did an excellent job and was also able to hit the champion a few times with his impressive aerial strikes, including a perfect moonsault. Amazing Fire Fly hit Samael with his finisher the Sky High Fire Fly... 1... 2... No! Samael was starting to lose focus but Raven guided him from the ringside until the monster trapped Amazing Fire Fly in mid air when he was flying for a meteora that Samael reversed to his Chokeslam. Samael laughed evilly and then pinned the challenger... 1... 2... No! Samael looked in disbelief at Raven and she made the signal, Samael took Amazing Fire Fly's body for The Execution... 1... 2... 3! Amazing Fire Fly copied Remmy's strategy against Samael and it worked for part of the match but it had the same ending.

Alfonso Garcia: What a match guys! Wow! Samael The Executioner retains the title in a fantastic match.

 

Mac Smith: Easily one of the best matches in the history of LAP, Alfonso.

 

 

Alfonso Garcia: Time for the Main Event, LAP Parejas champions Perez Xtreme make their seventh defence against Torneo De Parejas 2021 winners Panther & The Foxx!

 

Mac Smith: Tonight the best two tag teams in LAP these days in my opinion collide. It's the match everyone wanted to see in the Parejas division. Perez Xtreme won first edition of Torneo De Parejas in 2020 to become the LAP Parejas champions and tonight they face the tag team that won the prestigious tournament this year.

 

Cueball Lynch: Panther & The Foxx had been fantastic, winning all of their 2vs2 matches for a 5-0-0 record. Pantera Roja successfully transitioned to a new character, Pantera Fenomenal, with the help of his new partner Flying Jimmy Foxx.

 

Mac Smith: It's also important to point out the differences between Frankie Perez and his little brother Jonnie. We've seen before how bad Frankie treats him but in the end they always find a way to get the job done and despite this rollercoaster of emotions they have been ruling the Parejas division for 270+ days.

 

 

Main Event: LAP PAREJAS CHAMPIONSHIP

PEREZ XTREME (FRANKIE PEREZ & JONNIE PEREZ) (c) vs PANTHER & THE FOXX (PANTERA FENOMENAL & FLYING JIMMY FOXX)

aAn absolutely frenetic car crash match. Jonnie and Pantera kicked off the match with the Panther dominating each aspect of it but Jonnie making a great effort. 5 minutes into the match and Pantera hit Jonnie with the Feline Instinct but Frankie saved his brother before getting mad at his brother. Frankie was so out of focus that The Foxx was controlling the situation comfortably while delivering some of his aerial maneuvers like a perfect 360º splash. The Foxx walked on the third rope for a dive but Frankie welcomed him with a powerful dropkick. The Foxx was in serious trouble but the crowd began to chant the song that he had taught them in the last This Is Lucha Episode: "We've conquered the Torneooo, we're never going to stop, from San Luis to Las Cruces, we've won the fucking lot, Pantera Fenomenal and Flyiiiiing, the Jimmy freakin' Foxx, we are loyal supporteeeers, and we own the Coastal Zone! allez allez alleeez...". Frankie looked in every direction insulting the crowd and yelling "I am the Kill Switch, I am the Kill Switch you idiots!" without realizing that The Foxx had been revitalized with the song to stood up and Pantera got tagged in. There was a tired Frankie that didn't want to rely on his brother anymore against a fresh Pantera that looked like a ninja bending his knees, probably an influence of his old days working in Japan, waiting for his opponent to move. Frankie tried to kick Pantera but he moved in a fraction of a second and... Enzuigiri! Frankie tries to get up but Pantera is ready for another attack... Tumbleweed Legdrop! 1, 2, 3!!! The Foxx invades the ring like a flash and jumps on Pantera. The crowd is going totally crazy in Santa Clara as the ref gives them the LAP Parejas titles.

I think many of you thought the same and I can't blame you because when Grace Harper and her clients are around you can expect anything to happen. Now that I think about it, could have been the first loss for Axxis to start a feud with Grace's clients, but I didn't consider it at that moment.

Alfonso Garcia: Welcome to Lucha America Productions! Welcome to Puerto Rico for an historic episode where there will be a women's division match in the island for the first time, This Is Lucha! 

 

Mac Smith: It's great to be here, this is history in the making guys.

 

Cueball Lynch: It's always a pleasure to return to Puerto Rico and I am grateful for all the love they still show me.

 

Alfonso Garcia: In the first match tonight, Sunburst vs Davis Wayne Newton.

 

Cueball Lynch: Puerto Rican fans love Sunburst because he won the LAP People's championship here in a very emotional match and it's a good thing that after dropping the belt against Chess Maniac in the last episode his first match will be here. On the other hand Davis Wayne Newton is still looking for his first win in LAP and that makes him very dangerous because he is desperate for a victory at this point.

 

SUNBURST vs DAVIS WAYNE NEWTON

 Good match to work the crowd. DWN put a good performance early on the match before "Sunburst, Sunburst!" chants erupted in Aguada and the former People's champion took over. Sunburst hit Davis Wayne Newton with the Sun-Spot.

After the match, LAP Lucha champion Samael The Executioner who is also considered "el rudo número uno en Puerto Rico" (the top heel in Puerto Rico) comes out and is automatically booed and insulted by the Puerto Rican crowd.

 

Samael enters the ring and faces Sunburst. The crowd boos even louder and Samael laughs. Suddenly Samael hits Sunburst with a chop and immediately Samael grabs him for a Chokeslam leaving Sunburst sore on the mat.

 

The Executioner leaves the ring and the crowd chants "You suck, you suck". It seems that the Puerto Rican crowd has not forgiven Samael and his manager Raven Nightfall for burning the FCW logo, their attacks to Cueball Lynch and a fan or when Samael made former FCW wrestlers Bradford Peverell and Rob Reynolds lose their jobs in LAP.

Mac Smith: Despite being the LAP Lucha champion Samael doesn't wait for challengers to come, he chooses his victims!

 

Cueball Lynch: I can't believe he gets away with it so easily!

 

Alfonso Garcia: In the next match, a 4vs4 match where The Hammers and The Puerto Rican team up to take on Juggernightmare and The Lords Of Xtreme!

 

Cueball Lynch: Sounds great, Alfonso. Four good tag teams involved in this match, I can't wait.

 

THE HAMMERS (JOFFY LAINE & OX MASTADON) and THE PUERTO RICAN BOYS (ISLAND BOY APOLLO & KID SAN JUAN) vs JUGGERNIGHTMARE (JUGGERNAUT JONES & MARTYR) and THE LORDS OF XTREME (MASKED COUGAR & SNAP DRAGON)

A good match where everyone got involved. The Hammers where effective during the first minutes, then Juggernightmare and The Puerto Rican Boys were the main focus, being Juggernightmare the ones that inflicted more pain in the opponents. The Lords Of Xtreme took over around the 6 minute mark with Snap Dragon dominating Island Boy Apollo. The crowd supported The Puerto Rican Boys until the end... and that was when Masked Cougar hit Kid San Juan with the High Rise Cougar Pounce.

Interviewer Joanne Rodriguez comes out with LAP Women's champion and the former champion Electric Dreamer. Despite Raven Nightfalls' presence surprisingly the Puerto Rican crowd welcomes them with an standing ovation, probably because of the historic moment that the first women's division match in Puerto Rico means.

 

Joanne Rodriguez: Thank you Puerto Rico! Time for the challenger to answer, what does it mean to you to take part in the first ever women's division match in Puerto Rico, main eventing...?

 

Electric Dreamer: It's just another dream that comes true. I'm honored and I hope I'll take the chance and recover the belt tonight in front of this unbelievable crowd!

 

(The Puerto Rican crowd chants "Dreamer, Dreamer!" and Joanne is about to ask Raven but she doesn't wait)

 

Raven Nightfall: I'll take from here, Joanne. It was January when LAP acquired FCW when I asked for the first time LAP owner Joaquin Soler when will we have a women's match in Puerto Rico. And he said we have to take step by step, Raven, they're not ready for a women's match yet. A couple of weeks later I asked again. Same response, they are not ready yet. I asked the next month again. And I got the same response. First time I asked I was surprised, then it was a little bit annoying. The next times I asked I was angry. I was angry because I didn't understand why. We are in October and now I understand why. We couldn't have a women's match in Puerto Rico because YOU, the fans here, are a bunch of fucking misogynists!

Mac Smith: There were 3 wrestlers who secured their place in the Escalera De Oro II 6-Way Ladder Match at Amenaza II: Remmy Skye, Hijo Del Relampago and Axxis Jr. Jagged won Escalera De Oro I last year, he is a ladder specialist but he needs to defeat Ramone to qualify first.

 

Cueball Lynch: Ramone as a Puerto Rican is at home, expect the crowd to support him during this match.

 

Escalera De Oro II Qualifying Match

w/ 

JAGGED (w/ Grace Harper & Frederique Antonio Garcia) vs RICOCHET RAMONE

This match was about storytelling. Ramone plays the underdog while Jagged is the villain. Ramone warms up the crowd and is pretty solid in this match. Jagged is very motivated and Grace sees that confidence and doesn't use any tricks during the match. Jagged hit Ramone with a running knee but Ramone kicked out at 2. Ramone tried to comeback and even pinned Jagged after a crossbody but he kicked out at 1. Finally Jagged hit Ricochet Ramone with the Jagged Edge to win the match.

Alfonso Garcia: It's time for the Main Event, LAP Women's champion Raven Nightfall makes her first defence vs Electric Dreamer!

 

Mac Smith: After losing the title Electric Dreamer gets a rematch. And what a match, the first ever women's match in Puerto Rico.

 

Cueball Lynch: I can't let go what happened earlier. Raven Nightfall made some comments about Puerto Rican fans that are unforgivable!

 

 

Rihanna's "Monster" plays and Raven Nightfall makes her entrance and is immeadiatly booed by the entire arena. She reacts pointing out the LAP Women's belt.

Main Event: LAP WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP

RAVEN NIGHTFALL (c) vs ELECTRIC DREAMER

"Dreamer, Dreamer!" chants to start the match and this time the former champion seems to be ready to face an experienced opponent like Raven, as we see a more strategic approach by Dreamer. Raven hit Dreamer with a back breaker, then Dreamer replied with a frankensteiner. Electric Dreamer went for the Electric Chair but Raven pushed her opponent and hit Dreamer with a DDT. The Angel Of The Dark was ready to submit the challenger with the Night Crawler, but this time Dreamer reversed it to pin Raven and she kicked out at 2. Dreamer was standing up when Raven came with the Night Faller! 1, 2, 3! Raven Nightfall celebrates the win giving the middle finger to the crowd.

Nice show! How come the game rated the show so low compared to the segment scores? A 53 rating for a show with a 67 Main Event seems harsh to me. Did you miss some match aims or something?

I was waiting for someone to ask this or I was going to explain it anyway. The reason is the fans felt there were not enough angles and segments during the show. I didn't pay enough attention to the percentages this time, I'm sure it was by a very narrow margin but the show was penalized.

 

After this fail this is how the Californian Monday Night Wars ratings after 2 weeks:

 

 

It wasn't what I expected but at the same time it made it more challenging. We'll see if LAP manages to come on top in this first month.

What a shame, as the show probably would have rated in the mid-60's otherwise! Something to keep an eye on in the future.

Joaquin Soler being the aggressive Mexican businessman he is would buy CZCW on the first occasion. Not that he would buy any available company, he won't buy a company in Japan or in New England, but if it makes sense (and in this case it does in my opinion) he would do it to eliminate one competitor. And also CZCW still has some interesting workers.

 

The problem is FCW were in debt, while CZCW is around $100000, which means that they aren't in a solid position but the company is not available to attempt a takeover right now and probably won't be in the close future. There's a chance that this television war harms CZCW and Soler will keep an eye on their financial situation. What I can assure is that I won't cheat in-game to force anything because LAP's future looks good regardless of what happens to CZCW.

Sure. CZCW Coast To Coast surpassed This Is Lucha this week with Pablo Rodriguez & Al Coleman def. Frankie-Boy Fernandes & Matt Sparrow in the Main Event (60). Raven Nightfall vs Electric Dreamer reached 67, we would have crushed them again! Well, at least my fail even the ratings war and makes the next TV shows more decisive.

CZCW Coast To Coast (57) surpassed LAP This Is Lucha (53) in the second week these TV shows faced each other. In the Main Event, Pablo Rodriguez & Al Coleman defeated Frankie-Boy Fernandes & Matt Sparrow (60).

Flying Jimmy Foxx: Thank you, thank you. Little I knew when I debuted in LAP losing to Chess Maniac at Solsticio II what was coming for me in this company. I found a perfect partner in Pantera and here we are with the LAP Parejas titles!

 

("Yeaaaaah!" shouts the crowd)

 

The Lords Of Xtreme come out and the crowd boos them.

 

Masked Cougar: You found your perfect partner, Foxx? Really? Let me refresh your memory. Your 'perfect' partner was my current partner. Alfonso Garcia: In the first match tonight, an Escalera De Oro II Qualifying Match between Amazing Fire Fly and Magnifico!

 

Mac Smith: Remmy Skye, Axxis Jr, Hijo Del Relampago and Jagged have already secured their spots in the Escalera De Oro 6-Way Ladder Match. After the excellent title match that Amazing Fire Fly had against the LAP Lucha champion Samael The Executioner at Amenaza II I'm sure many fans would love that Amazing Fire Fly wins Escalera De Oro, which would give him the right to main event the season finale event Lucha Fest II.

 

Cueball Lynch: But there's still a long way to go for Amazing Fire Fly, Mac. Magnifico began this year chasing the LAP Lucha championship and it would be great for him if he can end the year in the same mood.

AMAZING FIRE FLY vs MAGNIFICO

 They tried to steal the show with this short match but it was just decent. Amazing Fire Fly hit Magnifico with the Sky High Fire Fly to advance to the 6-Way Escalera De Oro Ladder Match in a match where nothing special happened.

Cueball Lynch: Golden Bull is 3-6-0 in singles matches in 2021, a year where he has had some impressive highlights like sending Bull Wrecker to the unemployment line at LAP x FCW The Fight For Contracts, coming as the runner-up in the Gran Batalla De América II battle royal match or facing Samael The Executioner in his first defence of the LAP Lucha title at Breaking The Wall II. El Orgullo has only participated in 2 singles matches in 2021 and lost both of them.

A  short car crash match where Golden Bull dominated his opponent from the beginning. El Toro De Oro hit El Orgulloso with the Head Of Steam Gore.

Sunburst: Samael, what you did to me last week... you're a coward! Solo te paras de frente cuando vengo cansado del combate anterior! You are monster, The Executioner, Raven's chosen one... but I'm not afraid of you maldito. I'm not afraid of the darkness because I light the darkness!

 

(Samael laughs evilly while Raven Nightfall takes a mic)

 

Raven Nightfall: I'll say it straight out, we don't like you. What do you want, Sunburst? We are not here to apologize.

 

Sunburst: I want to face you at Escalera De Oro II, Samael. I want to see you laughing when that belt is around my waist cobarde.

Alfonso Garcia: Wow! What a great match for Escalera De Oro II. In our next match, Frogue Element vs Marc Speed.

 

Mac Smith: Marc Speed lost an Escalera De Oro II Qualifying Match against Remmy Skye in his first singles match in LAP after making his debut in the Gran Batalla De América II battle royal. Marc Speed looked very frustrated after Remmy beat him and tonight he faces Frogue Element who is 4-6-0 in singles competition in 2021.

 

FROGUE ELEMENT vs MARC SPEED

They stole the show with this match. Frogue Element had a strong start and showed some of his characteristic aerial maneuvers until he went for his finisher the Fro' Splash, but Marc Speed moved before Frogue landed on the mat. Marc Speed slowed down Frogue using holds and finally caught him in the Cross Armbreaker. Frogue had nowhere to go and tapped out.

Alfonso Garcia: It's time for the Main Event, the last Escalera De Oro II Qualifying Match, El Hijo Del Neutron vs Frankie Perez.

 

Mac Smith: This is a hell of a match, Alfonso. El Hijo Del Neutron defeated Scarlet Scarab in his first singles match after Segunda Generación broke up, while this will be the first match for Kill Switch Frankie Perez after Perez Xtreme lost the LAP Parejas titles.

 

Alfonso Garcia: Who will join Remmy Skye, Axxis Jr, Hijo Del Relampago, Jagged and Amazing Fire Fly in the 6-Way Escalera De Oro II Ladder Match? And don't forget that the winner of Escalera De Oro will main event season finale event Lucha Fest II.

 

Main Event: Escalera De Oro II Qualifying Match

EL HIJO DEL NEUTRON vs FRANKIE PEREZ

This match was above the average TV show Main Event in every aspect. El Hijo Del Neutron hit Frankie with a double kick that send him out of the ring, a perfect place for a suicide dive thought Neutron for fans' delight. Frankie regrouped and attacked Neutron with a vast variety of moves from stomps to leg locks. Frankie tried to hit the P-Clutch, but Neutron reversed it and in a minute was arming the Neutron Gun... YES! 1, 2... NO! The Kill Switch kicked out at 2. Neutron climbed to the top turnbuckle and landed on Frankie for a double leg drop, but again Frankie kicked out at 2. Frankie stoop up and slapped Neutron's face, then punched him in the arm before taking him down for a Guillotine. El Hijo Del Neutron fought hard for 30 agonic seconds before tapping out.
