Come on man, I'm just playing. This forum is great. :) I took off the Simpsons comment before I saw your edit, it wasnt an attempt to make you look bad. I dont actually have the boxset, I was just trying to be funny. Just thought I'd clear that up. I'm a he, in case anyone cares.
I'm a he, in case anyone cares.
i would have cared if you were a woman! :D because there are so few on here they are considered god-like - but seeing as you are a fella you will have to have the customary GDS labotomy that the rest of the regulars on here receive!

TV The Daily Show Mind of Mencia CSI (Las Vegas & New York only) House Bones Criminal Minds The Wire (the realest TV show EVAR) Dexter Weeds Law & Order: SVU Law & Order: Criminal Intent (only on the weeks Chris Noth & his partner are NOT on. They alternate now) Justice Lou Dobbs Tonight 'Til Death Monk Psych Movies Stranger than Fiction Happy Feet (cute) Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj Deck the Halls Casino Royale (Brosnan & Connery are better Bonds) Deja Vu Flushed Away Let's Go To Prison (hilarious!) The Fountain Bobby The TV part are shows I watch and/or tivo every episode. The movies are just the ones I've seen most recently. I'm generally not a moviegoer (most movies are pure garbage), choosing instead to go the Netflix route.

This forum ISN'T great. Not to start another one up, but the quality of users on the forum has been crappy as of late, the amount of time it takes for a reply to a topic is alot longer than just a week ago. Plus, people just still and lurk, either not signing up/logging in or just not posting anything. I remember when GDS would have 100-200 people online and it would take all night to stay up to date on the boards, now I'm one five minutes tops, and then I'll updated.
And he/she/it continues after I have already put away my sword. This forum is really becoming a ****ty place to be lately. Season 3 was ok, Season 8 kicks it's ass though.
Dude, this forum is awesome! Anywho, as regards the Simpsons. Anything past season 12 is pretty much throw-away garbage and recycled storylines. And, to think they cancelled Futurama, which had loads of episodes left in it! Also, not to argue (honestly not) but Pierce Brosnan was a good Bond, but his films were terrible (except Goldeneye), I mean come on an invisible car and Bond surfing! Awful stuff.

We should form some sort of posse in order to get this forum back to its former glory, mainly because I have nothing else to do.
Also, not to argue (honestly not) but Pierce Brosnan was a good Bond, but his films were terrible (except Goldeneye), I mean come on an invisible car and Bond surfing! Hey, interesting topic here again. My 5 cents on this topic: Movies All Monty Python films, gotta love them. Anything from Jim Carrey, when I was little kid, he was #1 to me. Titanic. I mean really, Titanic. One of greatest movies ever. And yes, I shed a tear. All different animation movies (Madagaskar, Shrek's etc) :) Overall: I just really love comedy and animations, and never ever watch any horrormovies. They're just not my type. Don't get me wrong, I'm not scared of them, I just don't like them. I don't enjoy being spookied :D + I'm not a sensitive man or "gay-like", I just don't like horror movies. TV LOST. #1 period. The best series ever. So full of action. I've never ever been this exited to watch TV or some series than what I am towards LOST. Just, amazing. We've got Season 2 in Finland, and this weeks episode is.. ~10th of the second season. I think. Can't wait. South Park, Family Guy, The Simpsons: All great cartoons. Always made laugh, no matter what. and wrestling of course; WWE, TNA mostly. :P Funny thing how no one here mentions the wrestling programs!!

TCP, I respect you more than any other user on this forum, so I won't argue Simpsons with you, but you must blind not to see how crappy this forum has become. All the TEW boards are virtually dead, except for a couple people who want pics because they're too damn lazy to look around for them. Most of the forum's activity comes from this board and topics like this.
I read somewhere that Futurama is coming back (2008 I think)
I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad. Happy because it's returning but sad it'll be so long away. :( I'm a Simpsons fan (Homer's a legend :D) but maybe, juuuuuust maybe, Futurama was better. Did I really just say that?

Awful stuff.
*shrug* It's opinion. I know we disagree on a lot of things. I'm just not buying Daniel Craig as Bond. In my mind, there have only been two good Bonds (Connery and Brosnan, in that order) and I enjoyed Brosnan's movies a whole helluva lot more than I did Casino Royale.

I never really "got" Futurama. But then again I dont "get" a lot of things, as you may have noticed.
I think everyone is waiting for TEW 2007. Once that puppy's out, look for an explosion of activity!
Maybe some sort of nWo-esque invasion is needed? We do need something to do until 07 is out, after all. My Nan used to say he kissed like he was sucking on a fish, I think she secretly fancied him.
First off: Pirates of the Caribbean 2 is a horrible movie and anyone who likes it should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves!
I assure you I am nowhere near ashamed of myself for watching that movie. I thought it was fantastic and I am anticipating the third one. If you don't like it then that's cool. What didn't you like about it? Scared of Pirates? Although I see you like Prison Break so you're okay in my book. I hope Futurama returns. That was a funny show. As for the forums, once 07 comes out I'm sure this place will be nuts again. EDIT: Forgot to say that Jersey Girl was a good movie. It is a heartwarming comedy for sure. But it's touching, plus it has George Carlin as Ben Affleck's father.....I wish he was my father.

I didn't like th lack of a focused story in general. Jonnie Depp got a bit annoying by the end. I hated Orlando Bloom as he proves once again that he doesn't have an ounce of acting ability in his body! I did like Davy Jones and the Kraken, that's about it. As Mark Kermode says: "There's one scene where Orloondo Bland sees Jack Sparrow kissing his misses and everyone is screaming for a reaction that says 'YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE MY FRIEND, WHY ARE YOU KISSING MY WOMAN!!!!' and all we get is a look that says "I'd rather be in my Malibu home drinking an ice-cold frapacino and talking to my agent about why my career is not going the way I'd hoped!'" I do love George Carlin though!

I know if I saw my friend kissing my girl, odds are good I'd do more about it then just sit there like a pathetic loser. I'm sure it will all be resolved in the third one. As for Orlando Bloom's acting ability. Well I cannot comment on this really, as the only movies I've ever seen him in were the Pirates ones. I don't even know what else he's been in. Davy Jones was awesome. I thought he was such a good antagonist in the movie. And is the Kraken that big octopus thing that kept crushing the boats? I didn't catch it's name.
