Preview for NOTBPW Retribution NOTBPW will be at the Harbour Station in Saint Johns, New Brunswick on Saturday 7th April for their latest PPV.... Retribution. Here is the confirmed card for the show: International Title : Johnny Bloodstone vs Sean McFly Johnny Bloodstone defeated Sean McFly for the last month at the Ed Henson classic, ending McFly’s 5 month long reign. He then successfully defended the title on Championship Wrestling against Tim Westybrook. Now McFly gets his re-match. Tag Team Titles: The CAN-AM Blondes (The Natural & Owen Love) vs Project Vision (Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez) Last month Project Vision defeated the CAN-AM Blondes in the final of the Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team cup, earning them a title shot at Retribution. Can the Blondes hang on to the titles or will Project Vision, prove they are the best tag team in NOTBPW X-Division Title: Dark Angel vs Duane Stone vs Edd Stone In the most recent X-Division title match Duane Stone faced Dark Angel on Championship Wresting, just when it seemed like he would end the title reign of Dark Angel, Edd Stone interfered. Matt Bray put Edd Stone into this triple threat match for the title so, that Duane would have no excuses about Edd interfering in the match. Challenge Tag: Tim Westybrook & A Mystery Partner vs Art Reed & R.K Hayes Tim ‘Iron Man’ Westybrook feels that someone should stand up to what he deems to be a pair of bullies in R.K Hayes and the recently re- debuting Art Reed. He has challenged the pair to a tag match against himself and a mystery opponent of is choosing. Just who will be Westybrook’s partner ?…The obvious candidate would be Dan Stone Jr, as he will want revenge for be putting through a table by Reed, but a recent sit-down interview with Tommy London, appeared to show the NOTBPW Icon was far from a full recovery. Plus Women’s Title: Melody Cuthill vs Emma Bitch Harrison Hash vs Cameron Vessey Black Cloud (Black Eagle & Lucifer Mysteron) vs SAS (SUKI & Shingen Miyazaki)

I really like reading what you are doing with NOTBPW they have without a doubt one of the more talented rosters and i personally like thier 90% match ratio but i understand the need to change that for the purpose of this diary. I really love the X-Division title concept I had signed a few super juniors and crusierweights in my game also and they found a great deal of success, by the way i sign Dark Angel to a written deal asap since he always gets beat up working for BHOTWG/GCG and when i lost him for 4 months to injury it really blew some of my plans. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the positive feedback, always appreciated. It took me a month or two to do anything about why Dark Angel was being so knackered every time he showed up, but since I've signed him to a written deal he's much better and at the moment is holding the X-Division together, just have to build up the rest of the Division now, injecting the former Flying Stones - Duane and Edd into the mix will help. For Black Eagle fans, though he's in Dark Angel's shadow right now, I do have future plans to get him back in the title picture, you'll just have to wait and see how that will unfold. The Retribution PPV should be up tommorow, I've been concentrating on processing the next batch of shows on TEW 2007 this weekend.

Referee Matthew White tried to be as lenient as possible but eventually lost complete control of where they were knocking seven shades of whatever into one another and was left with no choice but to call for the bell and rule the match a no contest. Result: Art Reed and R.K. Hayes drew with Tim Westybrook and Dan Stone Jr in 11:32 , when the referee lost control of the match. The finish came when Helen Wheels tripped up Melody Cuthill from the ring apron, this seemingly gave Emma Bitch the opening, however Victoria Stone came out, knocked down Helen Wheels and then did the same to Emma Bitch, just as Bitch was about to nail Cuthill with the pay-back. Cuthill took advantage by putting Bitch away with the Melody Maker (Twist of Fate) as Stone made sure that Wheels did not try any more interference. Result: Melody Cuthill defeated Emma Bitch in 7:27 by pinfall with a Melody Maker. Edd Stone: Are you done ? I think I preferred you when you knew nothing about what goes on round here. Well wooopity doo , you can do some research you trick, and I'll let you know and I'll let everyone know....I deserve to be in a title match, every time I enter the ring, by the end of tonight I'll guarantee by champion, not that pace painted freak Dark Angel and certainly not that useless brother of mine , whats his name again Wayne ? The new X-Division champion and forever from this point forward, will be Edd Legend !!! Katie Cameron: Edd Legend ?! Edd Legend: Yeah you heard right...Edd Legend, from this point forward I am denouncing the Stone birth-name. That is a name for losers....I am a Legend in the making. Rating: D+ ____________________________________________________ We are back with the two Tommy's who add a bit of hype to the Cameron Vessey, Harrison Hash match...they say that Vessey is all of a sudden feeling very confident, London says it could well be over-confidence, after getting his first win in six-way match last week. They put over Harrison Hash as someone who needs a win to get back on track, and that he would feel a rookie like Vessey would be someone where he could get back on winning ways against Match # 3: Harrison Hash vs Cameron Vessey vs This was one of three filler matches, along with a the next match and the womens match that made up the lower end of the card for tonights PPV . Though in their seven minutes together, they wrestled a pretty solid technical match and the matched each other well, the match was tainted though by a questionable finish, where Cameron Vessey stole the win by pinning Harrison Hash after a handful of tights Result: Cameron Vessey defeated Harrison Hash in 6:56 by pinfall . With no real faces in this match, it did avoid the heel beat-down cliche, which given the time-frame the match was given, was beneficial to the quality of the match. It was a little spotty at times, but this was an action packed 8 minutes with both teams going close.......SUKI nailed Lucifer Mysteron with the Mountain SUKI only for Black Eagle to break it up, whilst Mysteron went close with the Hell-Raiser on SUKI only for Shingen Miyazaki to break it up, in the end SAS got the win when they took down Black Eagle with the Target Locked (Leg Lariat, Shining Wizard combo) Result: SAS defeated Black Cloud in 7:54 when Shingen Miyazaki defeated Black Eagle by pinfall. Rating: C+ ______________________________________________________ The camera's show Sean McFly warming up for his match against Johnny Bloodstone, really it's just another opportunity for Tommy London to remind us that later tonight McFly will try to regain the International Title from Bloodstone. (C+) ______________________________________________________ Katie Cameron has is with Duane Stone, just minutes ahead of his match for the X-Division title Ending the Drought Katie Cameron: Tonight you challenge for the X-Division title , in an unusual situation the Stones hold no championship gold right now in NOTBPW and have not done for quite some time, but tonight you have a chance to put that right Duane Stone: That's right the Stone Family has been suffering something of a championship drought in NOTBPW but tonight that ends when I become X-Division champion Katie Cameron: Your brother Jeremy could end the drought too, even if you don't win Duane Stone: There won't even be an even if, because I'm pretty confident both me and Jeremy can win our title matches tonight and the Stones will be back on top, as for Edd... if he wants to denounce our name then so be it...we always knew who was never a true Stone. He may of been one by birth, but he had the dignity of the Stone, he was always an ungrateful and self centred from day one, but tonight he will be humbled. Rating: C- We rejoin the two Tommy's at the announce desk who hype the X-Division title match. Tommy London of course lambasted the decision of putting Edd Legend into the match, when he hadn't done a thing to earn it....he even mentioned how ridiculous he though Edd's new surname was...." Legend ?, who does this egotisical joke think he is ?" Edd Stone/Legend bashing aside London did also remind us that the match would be fought under elimination rules. Match # 5: X-Division Title: Dark Angel vs Duane Stone vs Edd Legend vs This was fast paced action from beginning to end, though at times this detrimental to the overall quality of the match and at times it came off as being a bit spotty, with Edd Legend be partiularly guilty of suddenly doing stuff like springing up from a big move from either Dark Angel or Duane Stone and all of a sudden going high-risk to hit a moonsault on both of them and it's stuff like that would not have gone down well with parts of the crowd. Edd was the first to be eliminated at 10.05 , when he actually managed to nail Duane Stone with the Party's Over , but Dark Angel then sent Edd face first into the canvas with the Descent into Hell. The final portion of the match was the best part of the match as Duane Stone and Dark Angel engaged in some chain wrestling, with both men trying to gain the advantage in order to hit their finisher. However it was the eliminated Edd Legend who would ultimately decide the outcome, Just as Duane had managed to down Dark Angel with a Stone-Plex that earned a close 2 count, he went up top ....however Edd who had never left the ringside area after his elimination shook the rope, crotching Duane before sneaking off...Duane fell to the canvas and Dark Angel took advantage by nailing Duane with another Descent into Hell. Result: Dark Angel defeated Duane Stone and Edd Legend in 12:44; the order of elimination was Edd Legend first, and finally Duane Stone. Dark Angel retains the NOTBPW X-Division title. Rating: B- With the belt once more succesfully defended, Dark Angel celebrated in his usual pretentious crucifix pose manner, with a leather clad Karen Killer by his side. (B-) ________________________________________________________ A video plays for the tag team title match between the CAN-AM Blondes and Project Vision, it shows highlights of last months Ed Henson Cup Final, where Project Vision defeated the CAN-AM Blondes (C) We rejoin the two Tommys who hype the tag title match. London puts over the fact that Project Vision seem to have the Blondes number, but Townsend said Project-V will choke when it really matters as the Stone's always do..he even uses Duane Stone not winning the X Title tonight as an example. London of course argues that Duane had ther match won, had it not been for Edd. Match # 6: Tag Team Titles: CAN-AM Blondes (The Natural & Owen Love) vs Project Vision (Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez) & vs & You get the impression watching these two teams together, that their matches will get better and better, each time they'll face each other and this one was a notch above their last match, whilst perhaps was over-long due to the 30 minute Iron-Team stipulation. As any one who follows wrestling would have expected the challengers started off like a house on fire, completely dominating the Blondes for the first 5 minutes, until the Blondes went for a heel powder, re-grouped and then managed to turn it round with some under-handed tactics, which led to them isolating Perez in their corner for the next 5 minutes, as expected this was the dullest part of the match, especially as selling is not Perez's strongest point at the best times, once Perez got the hot tag into Jeremy Stone though, the match definately picked up and what followed was 7 minutes of high quality tag team action, with both teams earning several near falls. Unfortunately for Project Vision a ref bump would prove decisive, Jeremy Stone nailed The Natural with the Stone-Cutter but The Natural stumbled into referee Clarence Garcia, Jeremy Stone then went for the cover but there was no ref to make the count....Owen Love then first nailed Perez with a chair across the back and then nailed Jeremy Stone with it over the head, before discarding the weapon with Jeremy Stone out-cold.... A revived Natural and Owen Love then turned their attention to an isolated Frankie Perez, finishing him off with their double slingshot suplex finisher...The CAN-AM Xpressway. Owen Love went for the pin, as a groggy Clarence Garcia counted to three. Result: The CAN-AM Blondes defeated Project Vision in 17:02 when Owen Love defeated Frankie Perez by pinfall. The CAN-AM Blondes retain the NOTBPW Tag Team titles. Rating: B Afterwards the CAN-AM Blondes celebrate like they've just won the title for the first time. Tommy London condemns their win, saying that they stole that victory, Townsend of course is pleased for the Blondes and once again mocked one of the Stones for not getting the job done in a title match. (C+) ____________________________________________________________ We go backstage where Johnny Bloodstone is in his dressing room, getting ready for his title match with Sean McFly, Katie Cameron comes in. Bloodstone Reign Supreme Katie Cameron: Tonight Johnny Bloodstone you defend the International Title against Sean McFly, who you defeated for the title at the Ed Henson classic, can you seal your reign as the champion by beating McFly for a second time in a row, or will you drop it back to the NOTBPW at the first attempt Johnny Bloodstone: McFly I'll give you credit here, you are a legend of NOTBPW, and you and the Stones are the reason I came to this company...it was the fact that you were the benchmark for being the best, that drove Johnny Bloodstone to wanting to be the very best. But that is where the respect ends, because your time on top has come to end, it's Johnny Bloodstone's time to reign supreme. Rating: B- Back with the two Tommy's again, who drive home the final hype for the International Title match, they put this over as being an highly important match for both competitors. They say that if Bloodstone drops the title back to McFly, then his title reign would have been a highly unconvincing one, however they say if he manages to beat McFly twice in a row, they ponder where McFly would go from here, because if Bloodstone won twice in row, then McFly would not have much of a case for another re-match in the forseeable future. Match # 7: International Title: Johnny Bloodstone vs Sean McFly vs When it comes to the matches that main event NOTBPW PPV's for the International Title, then the fans are surely getting spoilt, as the competitors in those matches be it Johnny Bloodstone, Sean McFly or Dan Stone Jr, keep putting on MOTYC after MOTYC, and once again this was another one that delivered exactly what the fans expected out of these two great wrestlers. Here are the key points to the action in this great match up * After a feeling out process and several minutes of chain wrestling McFly trys to surprise Bloodstone with a Victory Roll * Bloodstone gets frustrated by this and seems to be making mistakes as McFly takes advantage and seems to be in control of the match, Bloodstone goes out to re-group on the outside of the ring, but is taken down by a suicide dive from McFly * They brawl on the outside, but Bloodstone gains the advantager as he drives McFly into the ring post, he then drives McFly's left arm on to the ring steps.... * Bloodstone brings the match into the ring and continues to work over McFly's left arm, before locking in Bloodstone Mutilation for the first time, McFly looks like his really struggling but using sheer will power, he manages to find his way to the ropes. * Bloodstone continues to work over the arm and is beginning to really feel like the match is in the bag * However McFly fires up, fighting back with his good arm....an Irish Whip exchange, leads to McFly nailing Bloodstone with a drop-kick, he then goes up top, a shaken Bloodstone who was literally in complete control only minutes earlier, trys to follow him up but McFly manages to get off a missile drop kick downing Bloodstone for a second time. * McFly then sets up Bloodstone for the De-Lorean Driver however his left arm is still too weak, and Bloodstone slips out....and then nails McFly with the Vein-Buster !! 1-2---No !! McFly kicks out, Bloodstone can't believe it * McFly goes for another roll up, then Bloodstone goes for one himself * The 2 then engage in a stiff exchange of strikes, firing up on one another....... irish whip exchange, McFly with a Lariat with his good arm !! (This is awesome chants from the fans !, who are really starting to get into the match as it builds up more and more in intensity) * McFly goes up top again, and pulls out the 450 Splash......he nails it...., one, two, thr-No !! Bloodstone kicks out ! Tommy London says he may not like Bloodstone but he certainly respects him, saying that no mortal man could kick out of the Lariat, 450 combo...it just goes to show how much it means to be the International Champion in NOTBPW. * McFly trys double under-hooks Bloodstones arms, is he going for Bloodstones own finisher, Bloodstone counters and sends McFly onto his back with an Elemental Suplex (Double Arm German Suplex), he follows up with another Elemental suplex this earns a two count. * Bloodstone goes to lock in Bloodstone Mutilation but McFly counters, rolls through and reverses into his own variation on the Stone Hold (Sharpshooter) , Bloodstone is in trouble, but he manages to counter...both men are really feeling the effects of a gruelling match up, as the fans give out more This Is Awesome chants ! * Another exchange of chops....Irish Whip...McFly is looking for Delorean Driver but Bloodstone springs off and downs McFly with a big lariat of his own....Bloodstone goes up top , he's looking for the diving head-butt..Sean McFly follows him up Super-Plex off the top turnbuckle...he follows up with a tilt-A-Whirl-Gut-buster.... then a Power-Bomb.....1-2- No ! Bloodstone kicks out * McFly then drags a groggy Bloodstone over to the corner he sets him up on the top rope...Bloodstone keeps fighting him off though, Bloodstone shoves him off... diving head-butt onto McFly * Bloodstone does not go for the cover, he obviously does not think it's enough, McFly with another victory roll, Bloodstone rolls through himself and catches McFly into Bloodstone Mutilation... right in the middle of the ring....McFly is in trouble, he does not want to tap but he remembers what happened last time, he can see there is no hope of him making it to the ropes, he trys to struggle free for a bit, Bloodstone wont let go... * .... but McFly is somehow managing to dig deep and free himself, whilst Bloodstone's grip is beginnining to loosen * Bloodstone is getting frustrated....elbows to the side of McFly's head !! * He sinches in the Bloodstone Mutilation again....Matthew White has seen enough, he can see that McFly is in no condition to carry on !! The fans in attendance as per usual chant that was awesome, and Match of the Year ! despite the fact that they seem to chant it for every title match, every month ! Result: Johnny Bloodstone defeated Sean McFly in 31:35 by submission with a Bloodstone Mutilation. Johnny Bloodstone retains the NOTBPW International title Rating: A* The referee gives Bloodstone the belt, and he raises it aloft, he then taunts a fallen McFly with it pointing to the belt and then himself showing that he is still the International Champion (C+) Overall: B+ Another PPV in the bag, another MOTYC for the main event, and another B+...well at least the quality of NOTBPW PPV's are consistant.

Preview for NOTBPW Championship Wrestling Once again NOTBPW put on another MOTYC at the Retribution PPV, with the International Title re-match between Johnny Bloodstone and Sean McFly, after another critically acclaimed PPV, the promotion return to Quebec, when they will be in the Dave Keon Arena in Rouyn-Noranda for the latest edition of Championship Wrestling. Here is is what is on tap for the show Sean McFly & Duane Stone vs Johnny Bloodstone & Edd Legend McFly & Duane Stone will be looking for revenge, when they face their nemesises Johnny Bloodstone & Edd Legend across the ring, in this main event tag match. McFly could not get the International back from Bloodstone, despite a valiant effort, whilst once again the newly monickored Edd Legend found a way to cost his brother the chance at gaining Championship gold in NOTBPW. Dan Stone Jr vs Art Reed Since Art Reed has returned to NOTBPW he has targeted Dan Stone Jr, briefly putting the NOTBPW icon out of action. Stone Jr returned to the ring at Retribution, teaming with Tim Westybrook to take on Reed and R.K Hayes...nothing got settled in that match as referee Matthew White lost all control of what turned into a wild brawl. Gut-Check 5-way Ladder Match The Gut-Check moves to the next stage as the remaining 5 will compete in a 5-way ladder match, not only will the winner secure their place on the NOTBPW roster, they will also be rewarded with a title shot of their choice. Who out of these five men : Craig Green, Derek Frost, Gregg Boone, Marc Speed or Stevie Grayson will get the chance to put some spark back into their tenure in NOTBPW and around their fortunes ? Cameron Vessey vs Harrison Hash Cameron Vessey defeated Harrison Hash at Retribution , but Hash felt agrieved by the decision as Vessey pinned him with a handful of tights. Hash immediately asked for a re-match after the PPV and has been given his wish. Plus One half of the Tag Team Champion 'CAN-AM Blondes' The Natural takes on Honest Day Pay's Steve Flash and Project Vision (Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez) will be in tag team action against SAS (SUKI & Shingen Miyazaki).

They put over the match as being important for both teams hopes for challenging for the tag team titles. Tommy London explains that Project Vision just need to keep beating what is put in front of them, and the CAN-AM Blondes can have no excuse but to grant them a re-match but should SAS win this up-coming match then they will have a very strong case to be granted a title shot. Match # 2: Project Vision (Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez) vs SAS (SUKI vs Shingen Miyazaki & vs & Both teams really wanted the win and they came out like hammer and tongs against each other, this was stiff stuff with none of the four men in the ring letting up or backing down, don't get the impression this match was a brawl though, what it was was the two teams nailing each other with stiff strikes, kicks and suplexes oneafter the other, just as one team would look they'd be getting control, the other would come right back. Just as it appeared the match was about to go to the next level, the CAN-AM Blondes came out and attacked both teams with chairs...that left referee Matthew White with no choice but to rule the match a no-contest. Tommy London quipped that it looks like the Blondes don't to defend the titles against neither one of the teams that were in this match. Hopefully though when this angle is been played out somene will emerge from this pack, and I don't necessarily mean the person who won this ladder match. This climbing contest saw 4 cruiserweights and a heavyweight, whilst you could not have faulted the effort of any of the men the match was a bit spotty and Frost looked a bit lost in this sort of match-up. In the end it was Stevie Grayson who managed to stand the at the top of the ladder and pull down the contract, not only securing his place on the roster but also earning himself a title shot next week. Result: Stevie Grayson defeated Craig Green, Derek Frost, Gregg Boone & Marc Speed in 9:33 when he retrieved the contract. Rating: C- ___________________________________________________________ Back with the two Tommy's who hype the match between The Natural and Steve Flash. Tommy London quipped that seeing the CAN-AM Blondes shenanighans earlier in getting involved with the match between Project Vision and SAS, that he would not be surprised to see the The Natural's partner Owen Love stick his un-wanted nose into this match-up either. Match # 5: The Natural vs Steve Flash vs As the match got started Tommy London observed that Steve Flash was sporting a new haircut. Flash's trimmed down locks were not the only thing of note in this match, as it suprisingly stole the show . These two might be mainly working in the tag division at the moment, but they reminded everyone that they are also very capable singles wrestlers. As expected the face wrestler Flash started off hot, the match then spilt outside the ring when The Natural went for a powder (as the heel always should when he's been taken off his game), Flash followed him out and The Naturals tag partner Owen Love, tried to get involved...however referee Matthew White saw what he was up to and sent him to the back, this still provided enough of a distraction for The Natural to take advantage and turn the match in his favour. For the next five minutes The Natural continued to work over the leg of Steve Flash, trying to soften up Flash for his submission finisher The Natural Selection (Leglock Cloverleaf) and the Tag Champion almost managed to lock it on but Flash rolled through a two count. Flash started to force the momentum of the match back in his favour as The Natural became frustrated that he had not weakened Flash enough. Flash had a strong sequence where he strung together an Atomic Drop, swinging neckbreaker and a leg-drop off the top rope for a two count. He then decided to go up top again but the Natural followed him up and the two traded blows on the top turnbuckle....the Natural manages to pull off the Nature Calls (Wheelbarrow Face-buster) from the top rope and that was enough to put away Flash for the full three count. Result: The Natural defeated Steve Flash in 11:45 by pinfall. Rating: B+ O.O.C Note: How do I get the new look Steve-Flash onto the official Cornellverse background ? Many Thanks to Clarity by the way for doing the Steve Flash render. ___________________________________________________________ Back with the two Tommy's who add some hype to the Cameron Vessey vs Harrison Hash re-match. Tommy London reminds us that Harrison Hash felt somewhat cheated out of a win at Retribution. Match # 6: Cameron Vessey vs Harrison Hash vs This was another short but solid match between these two and because this one had a clean finish this time round, it went down better with the fans in attendance. The finish came when Harrison Hash had Vessey set up for the Image-Breaker but a low-blow conveniently out of the way of the referee's vision turned the match in the favour of Vessey who immediately took advantage by downing Hash with his finisher The Straight Edge (Sit-Out Body Slam Piledriver) Result: Cameron Vessey defeated Harrison Hash in 6:32 by pinfall. Rating: C+ * After the match we see Vessey taunting Hash. Tommy London says that this ****y youngster Vessey appears to be implying that he is on the way up, whilst Hash is on the way down. Townsend said you can't argue with Vessey's assessment of the situation, he has beaten that chump Hash twice (E+) ______________________________________________________ The show stays with the Two Tommy's who hype the main event tag match between Sean McFly & Duane Stone against the International Champion Johnny Bloodstone & Edd Legend. Tommy London of course went off on one about how the arrogant Bloodstone & Legend need to be taken down a peg or two, and admitted to have no qualms about showing no neutrality what so ever in this match-up. Bloodstone & Legend of course had their own sycophant on the opposite side of the announce table to stick up for them and run-down the chances of the good-guys McFly & Duane Stone. Match # 7: The Main Event: Sean McFly & Duane Stone vs Johnny Bloodstone & Edd Legend & vs & This was a slightly off colour main event, and certainly for the first 9 or so minutes all these men looked a big hung-over from the gruelling matches they had at the Retribution PPV , especially McFly...who just appeared to lack his normal spark. It did pick up once the formalities of the heel beat-down on Duane Stone and hot tag intoMcFly has past, near-falls came the way of the McFly/Stone tandem when McFly and Duane Stone double teamed Edd Legend with a hanging suplex- drop-kick combo only for Johnny Bloodstone to make the save and a Stone-Plex from Duane Stone again on Edd Legend...only for Bloodstone to once again make the save. But it was the tandem of Bloodstone/Legend who would pick up the win. Edd Legend took out McFly with a Shooting Star-Press, when the match had spilt to the out-side...Bloodstone and Duane Stone managed to get it back into the ring...and it was Bloodstone who came out on top, managing to over-power Duane Stone and then double under-hook Stone's arms to drop Duane on his head with the Vein-Buster. Result: Edd Legend and Johnny Bloodstone defeated Duane Stone and Sean McFly in 14:54 when Johnny Bloodstone defeated Duane Stone by pinfall. Rating: B- The show closes with Bloodstone & Legend celebrating, and looking rather satisfied with themselves (C) Overall: C+ It's always slightly disappointing to put out shows of this calibre, but every promotion has it's off nights occasionally and I tend to find that the first episode straight after a PPV are rarely top notch episodes of Championship Wresting...usually because I tend to book T.V title defences in week two or three.

The video explains that eliminations will occur by pinfall or submission and that falls count anywhere in the building (B-) O.O.C Note: As the limit of people you can have in an angle is 8, it was actually two 5 person angles put together. Whoever wins though will not be able to hold a candle to the greatness, the perfection that is your International Champion Johnny Bloodstone. Anyhow your champion needs to keep in shape for one of these chumps who’ll be challenging me next week, so I’m having this little non title warm up, against some no-hoper …bring on the victim!” Rating: C+ Match # 1: Non Title: Johnny Bloodstone vs Frankie Perez vs Problem from Bloodstone is that the opponent he was facing was of a higher calibre than the usual no-hoper in these non title contests and was far from the quick and easy squash he was expecting. His opponent was one of NOTBPW brightest young stars in Frankie Perez, currently the tag partner/student of Jeremy Stone. Perez’s arsenal of stiff strikes and kicks certainly caught the champion off guard, who was left reeling in the early portion of the match, and though Bloodstone did find a way back into the match he never had full control. However Perez did make a mistake, when he had Bloodstone on his back after a series of suplexes…instead of capitalizing by going for an immediate pin, Perez decided to go up to the top turnbuckle, he spent too much time climbing it , which allowed Bloodstone to follow him up and bring him in with a belly to back super-plex….Bloodstone then followed up with Bloodstone Mutilation, forcing the plucky Perez to tap out. Result: Johnny Bloodstone defeated Frankie Perez in 9:56 by submission Rating: B- ___________________________________________________________ Katie Cameron is backstage with Victoria Stone Positive out of a Negative Katie Cameron: Tonight Victoria Stone you are involved in a three way match, against two opponents who have been causing you and current women’s champion Melody Cuthill, tonight one of you will earn the right to face Cuthill for her title. Victoria Stone: This has clearly been an issue of jealousy from day one. Bitch and Wheels just could not accept that myself and Melody are just better than them, so instead of working hard to become better…they just constantly cheap shot us instead. Katie Cameron: Do you feel the odds are stacked against you ? Victoria Stone: That very well may be the case, and I am wary that I am going into what may well become a two on one, in their favour but once someone has their prize on the goal, they become focused on that...eventually they will have to stop working together, and I’ll be ready to take advantage when that does happen. Rating: D - ________________________________________________________ We are with the Two Tommy’s who try their best to add some hype to the all important Gut-Check Tag Match between Marc Speed & Derek Frost against the Kelowna Playaz. Fact is no one cares and the up-coming match is surely an opportunity for the fans in attendance and at home to stock up on the refreshments. Match # 2: Gut-Check Tag Match: Derek Frost & Marc Speed vs The Kelowna Playaz (Gregg Boone & Craig Green) & vs & The crowd was pretty much in a coma for this match . It literally is two teams of jobbers, who spend most of their time either on the pre-show or getting squashed when they come up against someone getting a push. However it’s the Kelowna Playaz who continue to sink towards eventual oblivion as Craig Green is caught by Derek Frost with the Ice-Pick ,and that was enough to earn the team of Frost & Speed (who hardly looked on the same page themselves ) the win and job security. Result: Derek Frost and Marc Speed defeated The Kelowna Playaz in 5:53 when Derek Frost defeated Craig Green by pinfall with an Ice Pick. Rating: D After the match the Kelowna Playaz argue amongst themselves, realising the predicament they are now facing…the fact that they will no longer be able to team together and that only one of them will be able to keep their spot in NOTBPW (F) O.O.C Note: I knew that segment would get an awful rating, but there are times when you’re playing the game that you have to forget about ratings, it just would have felt wrong if I did not follow up the match with some kind of reaction to the loss afterwards from the Kelowna Jobberz. ______________________________________________________________ Match # 3: Victoria Stone vs Emma Bitch vs Helen Wheels vs As expected Bitch and Wheels did double team on Victoria Stone, and the tactic was paying off, but Stone used her ring knowledge to force Bitch and Wheels into making mistakes and to have miscommunication amongst one another. The key moment came when Bitch missed an attempted lariat on Stone, instead knocking over Wheels. Victoria Stone then took advantage with a Stone-Plex….but as she went for the pin, Emma Bitch spat some mist in Victoria Stones face….Bitch and Wheels then brought in chairs but referee Clarence Garcia saw they were about to bring in the illegal weaponry and disqualified both of them, awarding Victoria Stone the win via DQ. Facing across from me in that ring tonight, could be friend or foe, even family but whoever is in the ring with me, I will be focused on one thing…beating who is in front of me. Rating: D- Back with the two Tommy’s who add some hype to the X-Division title match, they explain that Grayson earned a title shot of his choosing last week, by winning a five-way ladders match and that Grayson has decided to cash in his shot for the X-Division title. Match # 4: X-Division Title: Dark Angel vs Stevie Grayson vs One of the weakest title matches ever in NOTBPW history, it wasn’t that it was particularly awful, it just had no right being a match where one of the belts was on the line. The match suffered from Dark Angel and Grayson having awkward chemistry through-out the match and on top of that it ran too short for a title match. Grayson never seriously looked like ever taking the gold away from Dark Angel and anyone could have seen the academic Descent Into Hell that sealed victory once again for the champion, coming from a mile off. Result: Dark Angel defeated Stevie Grayson in 6:31 by pinfall with a Descent Into Hell. It was probably too still too spotty for some of the more old-school fans in attendance but most of the crowd lapped up the non-stop pace and it certainly lifted them back up, after the disappointing title match. One cool spot in the match saw SUKI on the outside, and he was taken down by a quebrada from Cougar, Jett then took out both men with a shooting star –press, another one saw Cougar get SUKI onto his shoulders for a Death Valley Driver, but SUKI took down Cougar with a Tornado DDT, whilst kicking down Jett at the same time. The finish came when Masked Cougar levelled Jacob Jett with the High Rise Cougar Pounce (Flying Uppercut from the top rope) but SUKI then took down Masked Cougar with the Mountain SUKI (Shiruna) to earn the victory. Sean McFly: I’ll admit Bloodstone has had me beat the last two times we have faced each other, but what you have to remember is that before the fateful night in March, he never had me beaten in singles competition. Now he’s beaten me twice, and that is something I’m not able to deal with, those two losses have hurt my pride…. But just as he turned his fortunes round against me, I can turn them back round in my favour…I just have to dig down that little deeper. First things first I need to beat the nine other men also gunning for that same goal, tonight I will get the first part of the job done and then after that I will reclaim my rightful place at the top of wrestling by winning back the NOTBPW International Title. Rating: C ___________________________________________________________ Much to the chagrin of the T.V audience, International Champion Johnny Bloodstone wants a ringside view of the contenders gauntlet, so he decides to join the commentary team as a guest commentator. Townsend of course agreed with everything the champion said, constantly massaging the champion’s already over inflated ego. Match # 7: Main Event: Elimination Gauntlet: Art Reed vs Dan Stone Jr vs Duane Stone vs Edd Legend vs Jeremy Stone vs R.K Hayes vs Sean McFly vs Steve Flash vs Tim Westybrook vs The Natural The chaotic format of this match, pin-falls and submissions count anywhere… meant that sections of this match became a little bit messy and the crowd found it hard to follow in places, but once it started to settle down towards the end and got towards the final 4, the crowd was gripped to see who would earn the title shot. Here is a break-down of the entry and eliminations 0.00: Two men who are very familiar with one another start things off as entrants 1 and 2 2.00 : After several stiff exchanges between Westybrook and Hayes, Art Reed enters the match, and the bad-ass heels double team on Westybrook. 3.00: Steve Flash enters the match, evening the odds for the faces 4.00: Edd Legend enters the match 5.00: Sean McFly enters the match to a big pop 6.00: Dan Stone Jr enters the match to an even bigger one, and immediately goes right after Art Reed 7.00: Duane Stone enters the match 8.00: The Natural enters the match 8.58: Steve Flash is the first to be eliminated as the Natural makes an immediate impression, taking out the newly coiffed Flash with The Nature Calls (Wheelbarrow facebuster) 9.00: Jeremy Stone is the final man to enter the match 10.42 : Edd Legend is the next elimination, as he try’s to take out everyone with a shooting star press, but is caught by Westybrook who then takes him out with the TNT Whirlwind (F5) 12.38: Westybrook and Hayes are slugging it out on the outside, Duane Stone takes both down though with a springboard dive, as they get back to their feet Duane and Westybrook have a face off but then decide to work together. Westybrook, then power-bombs Hayes onto a table, it doesn’t quite break, but it’s broken after Duane sends Hayes through the table with a leg-drop. Hayes is elimination number 3 after the academic pin. 15.06: Dan Stone Jr, Art Reed and Duane Stone are all fighting it out on the top rope, top rope Stone-Plex from Dan Stone Jr takes out Duane Stone but a hurricarana from Duane takes out Reed at the same time….proving that there is no room for brotherly love in this type of match, Stone Jr covers his own brother, whilst The Natural nails an elbow drop on the daze Reed and follows up with the opportunistic pin. Duane Stone and Art Reed are eliminations 4 and 5. 20:23: The Natural is next to go himself as elimination No. 6, when Jeremy Stone stuns him with the Stone-Cutter. 28.45: Tommy London comments that Tim Westybrook has done well done to last so long, being in the match from the beginning, turns out London put a curse on Westybrooks chances…as Sean McFly nails Westybrook on his head with the Way of the Future (Springboard inverted DDT). Westybrook is too knackered to kick out and is elimination No.7 31.00: The match is down to three men all are former International Champions…however Johnny Bloodstone gets up from the announce booth and puts down his head set. Tommy London asks Bloodstone where the hell does he think he is going and not to get involved in the match. 32.00: Bloodstone picks up a chair from ringside and enters the match , he nails Jeremy Stone with it, he then takes a swing at Dan Stone Jr , but Stone Jr ducks and the chair hits Sean McFly smack in the face. Stone Jr makes the opportunistic pin and McFly is elimination no.8 32.30: Bloodstone is still in the ring with the chair and he had every intention of taking out both Stones as well, but Dan Stone Jr kicks the chair out of Bloodstones hand and Jeremy Stone catches the interfering champion with the Stone-Cutter ! …Bloodstone rolls out of the ring with his plan to take out all of the final 3 men in the match foiled. 34.00: The two brothers have a face off, and circle one another, they lock up…Dan Stone Jr strikes the first blow in anger, Jeremy Stone strikes right back and the match is back on. 37.00: After several back and forth exchanges and both being dumped by Stone-Plex’s for two counts, Dan Jr manages to take down Jeremy and locks in the Stone-Hold, Jeremy reverses it into one of his own, but Dan Jr reverses the hold back in his favour, Jeremy is trying to get to the rope but ends up taping out. Dan Stone Jr is the new No.1 contender and will challenge Johnny Bloodstone next week for the International Title. Result: Dan Stone Jr won the gauntlet in 38:44. The final four competitors also included Jeremy Stone, Sean McFly and Tim Westybrook, with Jeremy Stone being the final elimination. Rating: B+ Coming After Your Title After the match Jeremy Stone congratulates his brother and raises Dan Stone Jr’s arm aloft. Dan Jr stays in the ring to take in a standing ovation from an appreciative crowd. Meanwhile Bloodstone is on the entrance ramp seething that his plan to take out McFly and both the Stones did not quite come to fruition. Stone Jr see’s the champion and then makes a belt gesture and points towards Bloodstone. Rating: B Overall: B-: This was a bit of one match show, with most of the stock being put in the battle royal main event, it was a solid edition in the end, and was something a bit different from your standard episode of Championship Wrestling, but is something I would only run very occasionally, because of the weak under-card.

Preview for NOTBPW Championship Wrestling NOTBPW will be at the Centre Georges-Vezina in Chicotoumi, Quebec for the latest edition of what promises to be an unmissable edition of Championship Wrestling as three titles will be on the line. Here is what is planned for the show: International Title Match: Johnny Bloodstone vs Dan Stone Jr Johnny Bloodstone puts his title on the line against Dan Stone Jr, who beat nine other men in a Gauntlet match last week, to be first in line for a title shot. The winner of this match will defend the International title against the runner-up of the Gauntlet Dan Stone Jr's brother Jeremy Stone. X-Division Title Match: Dark Angel vs SUKI The Championship Comittee have decided to reward SUKI for his impressive performance in winning the X-Division 3-way with Masked Cougar and Jacob Jett, by giving him a chance to win the X-Division title. The winner of this match will defend the X-Division title against Emerald Angel at Honor Bound. Womens Title Match: Melody Cuthill vs Victoria Stone vs Emma Bitch vs Helen Wheels Because of the controversial double DQ finish to last weeks womens contenders match, the womens title will be on the line in this fatal 4-way. Emma Bitch & Helen Wheels have formed an alliance in recent weeks, targetting the current champion Cuthill & the backbone of the womens division Victoria Stone, in an attempt to get noticed and force their way into the womens title picture. Plus ..... Project Vision (Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez) take on Art Reed & R.K Hayes, there is more tag team action when Black Cloud go up against Honest Day's Pay and Masked Cougar takes on Shingen Miyazaki ________________________________________________________________ Prediction Short Form: International Title: Johnny Bloodstone vs Dan Stone Jr X-Division Title: Dark Angel vs SUKI Womens Title: Melody Cuthill vs Victoria Stone vs Emma Bitch vs Helen Wheels Project Vision (Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez) vs Art Reed & R.K Hayes Black Cloud (Black Eagle & Lucifer Mysteron) vs Honest Days Pay (Thomas Morgan & Steve Flash) Shingen Miyazaki vs Masked Cougar ___________________________________________________________________________________ O.O.C Note: If anyone wants to make predictions, I'll be making it a little bit easier for them from now on, by adding a prediction short-form to the preview posts. International Title: Johnny Bloodstone vs Dan Stone Jr You can't take the title off Johnny yet. And Dan Stone Jr hasn't had the type of push I'd see someone getting, who would take the title from Bloodstone. X-Division Title: Dark Angel vs SUKI I like SUKI and I reckon he'll be a tag champ or X champ eventually, but not yet. Womens Title: Melody Cuthill vs Victoria Stone vs Emma Bitch vs Helen Wheels I'll be honest, haven't really gotten into your women's division, maybe because I'm not familiar with the workers. Might be time to put the belt on someone else. Project Vision (Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez) vs Art Reed & R.K Hayes Just guessing that Frankie needs the overness boost most. Black Cloud (Black Eagle & Lucifer Mysteron) vs Honest Days Pay (Thomas Morgan & Steve Flash) love Black Eagle and I've always thought Lucifer could go places. Shingen Miyazaki vs Masked Cougar Guy is just good, he deserves to be higher up the card.

Whilst they argued Cuthill got the tag into Victoria Stone , who almost rolled up Helen Wheels, until Bitch made the save…from there the match broke down and all the women hit their finishers, only for one of the other competitors to make the save. When it came to the part of the match that really mattered, both the champion Cuthill and Helen Wheels were trying to shake off the effects outside the ring. Victoria Stone caught Emma Bitch with the Stone-Plex, Bitch kicked out of that one, but Victoria Stone nailed her again with another one. Problem is that the two best competitors in the division are both faces and are both at their best playing a face. The usual stuff with London on the side of Project Vision and Townsend on the side of Hayes & Reed. Match # 4: Project Vision (Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez) vs R.K Hayes & Art Reed & vs & This was a formula tag match but it was well worked, the first half pretty much saw the Hayes/Reed tandem work over Frankie Perez (the smallest man in the ring), until Perez fired up and fought them off to tag in an even more fired up Jeremy Stone who cleaned house. The usual back and forth action followed with Perez going close with the Perfect Parity on Reed and Hayes going even closer after a Homicide Bomb on Perez. In the end Project Vision pulled out the win, a Stone-Cutter from Jeremy Stone on R.K Hayes, took the biggest bad-ass in NOTBPW out of the equation, leaving Art Reed isolated. Stone tags in Frankie Perez, who then went up to the top turnbuckle. Jeremy Stone suplexed Reed onto the ropes, leaving his body hanging mid across the rope. Then Perez came off the top turnbuckle with a double foot stomp, Perez then covered Reed. Result: Project Vision defeated Art Reed \ R.K. Hayes in 12:50 Rating: B- Note: That combo was Project Visions newly debuted tag team finisher, which will be called the Total Supremacy. _______________________________________________________________ Katie Cameron is backstage with Dan Stone Jr Earning The Prize Katie Cameron: With me right now is Dan Stone Jr, who challenges Johnny Bloodstone in the main event for the International Title. So Dan do you feel you can bring some championship gold back to the Stones ? Dan Stone Jr: It’s about time some gold was back around my waist, this family that built NOTBPW from the ground up has gone too long without holding a title , and tonight I promise to end that drought. Bloodstone you’re going home ten pounds lighter after tonight, and this one’s for my brother Jeremy…after I win the title from Bloodstone tonight, I’ll have no intention of dropping it to you, but you know more than anyone that the Stone philosophy is to earn your way to the top. Rating: B _____________________________________________________ Back with the two Tommy’s who add some hype to the X-Division title match between Dark Angel and SUKI. They put it over as being a massive opportunity for SUKI to really make his mark in NOTBPW and take his career to that next level. Match # 5: X-Division Title: Dark Angel vs SUKI vs This was a much better X-Division title match than the match between Dark Angel and Stevie Grayson on the previous show. Both men are competent high flyers but not particularly flashy, so there wasn’t really a ton of high-spots but it was a well worked technical affair, that started off slow and built up intensity, much like the super junior matches Cliff ‘Dark Angel’ Wilson would pull out in Japan with GCG. This probably should have as no surprise seeing as his opponent tonight is the latest in a line of Japanese workers, that have been over-looked in their homeland and NOTBPW have taken a punt on. SUKI did actually manage to put down the champion for a three count with the Mountain SUKI, only for Karen Killer to distract the referee long enough for the champion to kick out. The feisty challenger even managed to lock on his submission the SUKI Special (Armbar) but again Dark Angel showed why he is the X-Division champion by fighting it off and then reversing it into the Wings of Damnation (Anaconda Vice), SUKI tried to hold on but in the end was forced to tap out. Result: Dark Angel defeated SUKI in 15:29 by submission with a Wings of Damnation. Dark Angel retains the NOTBPW X-Division title. (B) As if any more hyperbole was needed for this match, the two Tommy’s add in their two cents worth as well, though both disagree on who will win, they both agree that given their recent history in the ring, that the up-coming title match between Bloodstone and Stone Jr, has the makings to be another classic. Match # 6: The Main Event: International Title: Johnny Bloodstone vs Dan Stone Jr vs And how right the Two Tommy’s were, I think any time you put these two in the ring, they’ll put on MOTYC after MOTYC, one of these days they will probably put on a slightly disappointing match by their standards, but for now as a booker and I’m sure the fans are enjoying the hot streak of instant classics these two are putting on against each other and former champion Sean McFly. Here as per usual with NOTBPW’s greatest matches are the key points to the action. * After circling each other and challenging one another with tests of strength, Dan Stone Jr starts to get the better of the exchanges and a frustrated Johnny Bloodstone rolls out to the outside to re-group * Bloodstone is back in, but again Stone Jr out-wrestles the champion and once again Bloodstone is off for a Powder. * Stone Jr with a dive through the ropes sends Bloodstone back first into the barricade. * Stone Jr send Bloodstone back first with a suplex onto the ramp. * They bring it back in and Stone Jr is in total control, he does a suplex sequence, then goes up top...flying elbow connects..goes for the cover 1-2- No ! Bloodstone kicks out, Bloodstone is getting totally owned at this point though and can't get a grip on the match. * Stone Jr trys to lock on the Stone-Hold but Bloodstone fights him off, and then resorts to under-handed tactics with a thumb to the eye, that draws a warning from referree Matthew White...the tactics worked though as Stone Jr is now disorientated, Bloodstone goes for a roll up, Stone Jr kicks out but is met by a knee to the head by Bloostone * Bloodstone is now working over Stone Jr, targetting his neck to soften him up for Bloodstone Mutilation. * A standard brainsbuster downs Stone Jr for two, he then drives a couple of knee shots across Stone Jr's back. * Bloodstone decides to go a bit more high-risk, but that was a mistake as he misses with a leg-drop * Stone Jr stuns him with a Stone-Plex as he gets back up ! but Stone Jr is too weakened tom attempt a cover straight away, and when he finally does Bloodstone has had enough time to shake off the effects of the Stone-Plex * Both men groggily exchange blows. Lariat by Bloodstone misses, drop-kick by Stone Jr connects, he goes for the Stone -Hold but Bloodstone fights him off and trys to reverse it into a Stone-Hold of his own ..Stone Jr fights that off though as well. * Bloodstone rolls to the outside it looks like his trying to bring in a chair, Stone Jr climbs the top turnbuckle, flying body-press takes down Bloodstone on the outside, and they exchange blows on the outside, Bloodstone trys to smash Stone Jr's head on the ring-steps, Stone Jr blocks and trys to send Bloodstone head first into the rings steps....both men trying to gain the upper-hand on the outside....Bloodstone with a DDT on Stone Jr into the ring steps ! * Bloodstone drags a groggy Stone Jr back into the ring, Bloodstone then locks on Bloodstone Mutilation , but Stone Jr is not going to give up and gets to the ropes, Bloodstone trys to lock it on again, but Stone Jr counters with a Tiger Driver , he goes for a cover 1-2- No ! * Stone Jr, trys to get another Stone-Plex on to Bloodstone but it's blocked, Bloodstone counters into a Stone-Plex of his own ! one-two, thr- No ! Stone Jr gets up just in time The fans really start to appreciate the effort being put in and start to chant this is awesome. * With Stone Jr, down Bloodstone decides to go up top again, but he takes too long climbing the turnbucke, as he appears more interested in taunting the crowd who are fully behind Stone Jr. * Stone Jr is followed him top, they grapple for control, Stone Jr is trying to bring in Bloodstone with a super-plex but Bloodstone fights him off, and pushes him down to the mat. * Stone Jr won't give up, though and is back on his feet and up the turnbuckles, before Bloodstone can get his footing to come flying off the top rope. * Stone Jr trys once again to bring Bloodstone crashing into the ring with the Super-plex, but he gets his arms caught in a double under-hook. * Super Vein-Buster !!! (Holy s*** chants from the fans !), Stone Jr is pretty much lifeless from that...1-2-3...Bloodstone retains his title. Fans chant that was awesom ! and NOTBPW ! Result: Johnny Bloodstone defeated Dan Stone Jr in 22:33 by pinfall with a Vein Buster. Johnny Bloodstone retains his NOTBPW International title. Rating: A* Note: This match felt alot more old school than some of their other great efforts, but it suddenly switched up 2 gears in the final third and the finishing sequence was absolutely awesome with Bloodstone pulling out a Vein-Buster from the top rope to put Stone Jr down for the three count. Bloodstone looks smug as per usual with his accomplismnet, he raises the belt aloft and then mouths Bloodstone is King !, Bloodstone is King ! (C+) Overall: B+ : A solid under-card and yet again another awesome main event between Johnny Bloodstone and Dan Stone Jr. What was even better was the T.V Rating, which has now jumped up...I think part of that has to do with the guaranteed brilliance of the main event, so it will be interesting to see what the IVR rating is like for next weeks episode.

Preview for NOTBPW Championship Wrestling NOTBPW will be at the Winnipeg Convention Centre on Wednesday 2nd May, for the last edition of Championship Wrestling before the Honor Bound PPV. Here is what will be on the show X-Division Collision: Duane Stone & Emerald Angel vs Dark Angel & Edd Legend At the Honor Bound PPV WLW's Emerald Angel will challenge Dark Angel for the X-Division title. Also at Honor Bound Duane Stone & Edd Legend will battle it out in a Ladder Match, the winner of which will be guaranteed a title shot at the Jeopardy PPV in June. These four talented high flyers will give you a preview of what to expect at Honor Bound. Jeremy Stone vs R.K Hayes Two of NOTBPW's most grizzled veterans collide for one on one action. Jeremy Stone will challenge for the International Title at Honor Bound and will be looking to go into the PPV with momentum on his side, however R.K Hayes is just the sort of ultra-tough competitor who could de-rail that momentum. Tag Team Title Match: The CAN-AM Blondes vs SAS SUKI will get another championship gold, when he returns to tag team action with Shingen Miyazaki, as SAS will challenge The CAN-AM Blondes for the tag team championships. Both of these teams will be involved in the 4-corner tag team survival match at Honor Bound where the belts will be on the line, but which team will walk in the champions and which team will walk in as one of the challengers ? Black Cloud vs Honest Days Pay Following last weeks dubious win by Black Cloud (following distraction from Black Cloud's manager Karen Killer), Honest Day's Pay already had revenge on their mind and asked for this re-match. After reviewing the tapes..the Championship commitee felt no hesistation in granting HDP their wish. I had some free time at work, so I read the first four pages or so of this one, and I'm really impressed. It's a really fun read and I love seeing what you're doing with the good ol' Stone Clan. I'm starting to see your NOTBPW like I saw Scapino's SWF: it's hard to imagine anyone else writing for it.

To just be mentioned in the same sentence as Scapino's SWF diary is quite the honour. :) Where would we all be without spare time at work, I do quite a few of my entrys in spare time at work...all during the lunch hour of course, because I'm a model employee ;)

SAS pushed the champions all the way and they often had the Blondes reeling from their stiff puro offence. SAS went very close on two occasions exectuing the Target Locked twice only for the the other Blonde to make the save. Some how some way the Blondes did find a way to retain their titles, a back body drop from The Natural onto a charging Shingen , sent Shingen crashing and burning out of the ring, then they caught SUKI in the CAN-AM Xpressway, and when the Blondes hit the X-pressway it's pretty much always over. " Rating: E+ _____________________________________________________________ Match # 5: Dan Stone Jr vs Masked Cougar vs This was a really well executed match, without stealing the show.it did exacty what it was meant to provide a solid mid-card match that just happened to be involving one of the promotions top performers. Throughout the match Stone Jr was often kept off balance by Masked Cougar's speedy lucharesu style, but being the great wrestler that he is, he used his veteran knowledge to turn the match back in his favour...in the end Cougar went to the top rope well once too often and the finishing sequence came when Stone Jr brought the masked man crashing into the ring with a super-plex, which was followed up by a Stone-Plex. Result: Dan Stone Jr defeated Masked Cougar in 11:50 by pinfall with a Stone-Plex. Rating: B- After the match Art Reed and R.K Hayes climb out from the crowd and climb into the ring, they toss Masked Cougar out of the ring and then go to work on Dan Stone Jr, as they try to soften him up before Reed's tables match with Stone Jr at Honor Bound. The rescue party is on the way though in the form of Project Vision, Dan's brother Jeremy and Frankie Perez. As Perez and Stone Jr fight Reed back up the ramp, Jeremy Stone and R.K Hayes who were scheduled to face each other anyway stay in ther ring and referee Matthew White calls for the bell. Ratings: C for both Attack and Save from Attack. Match # 6: Jeremy Stone vs R.K Hayes On paper this had all the makings of a solid match, as these two have fought each other plenty of times over the years, but it turned out o be even better than expected. If Hayes had the stamina to go a bit longer in matches, this could have had the potential to be another MOTYC. What ensued was a nice melting pot of balls to the wall brawling and technical prowess. Hayes kept trying to turn the match into a fight but Jeremy Stone, managed to stand up to everything Hayes was throwing at him and began to use the sweet science that he is known for to turn the match in his favour and wear down the big man. Several times Hayes tried to take out Jeremy Stone with one of his big finishers the Drive-By-Lariat or the Homicide Bomb, but every time Stone was able to either duck the Lariat or escape from the clutches of Hayes before he could execute the Homicide Bomb. By the end Stone had pretty much got Hayes to punch himself out, and locked the Stone -Hold on to a rather spent and worn out opponet, Hayes tried to use his power to edge closer to the ropes but Jeremy Stone held firm, and the big man was left with no choice but to tap out. Result: Jeremy Stone defeated R.K. Hayes in 14:58 by submission with a Stone Hold. Rating: A ______________________________________________________ Back with the two Tommy's who hype tonights main event dubbed the X-Division Collision, a tag match that see's 4 X-Division stars compete in a tag match, they mention Emerald Angel's accomplishments in WLW and put him over as a genuine threat to Dark Angel's X-Division title at Honor Bound. They also talk about the ladder match at Honor Bound between Duane Stone and Edd Legend. Match # 7: The Main Event: Duane Stone & Emerald Angel vs Dark Angel & Edd Legend & vs & The first five minutes of this match was a bit lethargic unfortunately, as it did look like that these 4 men had never tagged with each other before, especially Duane Stone and Emerald Angel...once they got the feeling out process out of the way and started to click more and get on the same page with each other, the match definately picked up and it was a solid display of fast paced action, with plenty of high spots. At time those high spots came off as a bit too pre-planned , taking away from the flow of the match, especially a sequence where Duane Stone hit a moonsault onto Dark Angel, Edd Legend then climbed the turnbuckle to hit a shooting Star press, and then all three waited around like a bunch of idiots for Emerald Angel to send them all crashing to the floor once again with hand-spring plancha. After several near-falls by all the competitors, the finish came when Edd Legend went up top for the Party's Over looking to nail it on Duane Stone, however Duane got up and brought Edd crashing into the ring with a super-plex, Duane then tagged in Emerald Angel, however Dark Angel also came charging into the ring but was taken out with a leg sweep and drop kick clothesline combination from Duane and Emerald Angel. Both Legend and Dark Angel were flat on their backs, as both Duane Stone and Emerald Angel climbed the top rope, Duane Stone landed a moonsault on Dark Angel, but Edd Legend started to get up (as Duane was not the legal man he could not cover Dark Angel), it looked like Edd Legend was going to bring Emerald Angel crashing back into the ring, the WLW star however fought Legend off and then executed the Angel Fury (Corkscrew 450 splash) to earn his team the victory. Result: Duane Stone and Emerald Angel defeated Dark Angel and Edd Legend in 14:42 when Emerald Angel defeated Edd Legend by pinfall Rating: B- The show ends with a hype video for the Johnny Bloodstone vs Jeremy Stone title match at Honor Bound (B) Overall: B- : This was another episode, on hind sight I would have had the Jeremy Stone/R.K Hayes match main eventing, but I was still pleased in general with how the show went, and it solidly built up the PPV. The T.V Rating held up too, it was slightly down from last week but that was to be expected, but it was still around a 7.5 which is very good...so it looks like more people are starting to catch on to the quality product NOTBPW is putting on.
