I know where he's going for Survivor Series  Definitely looking forward to the return, and I know Capital Carnage and a few Raws have to come first but can't wait for SS. I love the PPVs that have a special theme to them [SurSer 4v4/5v5 ElimTag, Royal Rumble, KOTR]. It adds something to them to set them apart from the regular PPVs.

Thanks for all the suppt guys. Just to let you know once I have written up Survivor Series and have all the shows and out of ring stuff formatted (so we're talknig 4 shows and 2 PPVs) I'm gonna start posting again. I have done it all barring Survivor Series so hopefully it really won't be too long, I just don't wanna bring it back, do 2 shows and stop again. I wanna get a good run going for once! But thanks again for your support, here's to hoping it will be back very soon.

Oh yeah, should have mentioned. I won't do a full recap of what has happened before as I did one last time but I will do a recap of the important feuds as the next show is a PPV. For anyone who doesn't want to read it all, this is the recap of everything that has happened so far in FMTA, and a recap of recent feuds will be posted in the next couple of days. [url]http://67.19.230.90/~arles/forum/showpost.php?p=463450&postcount=724[/url] [url]http://67.19.230.90/~arles/forum/showpost.php?p=463480&postcount=725[/url] [url]http://67.19.230.90/~arles/forum/showpost.php?p=463903&postcount=726[/url] [url]http://67.19.230.90/~arles/forum/showpost.php?p=464472&postcount=728[/url] There were apparantly issues with the link before so these are links directly to the posts, as you can see there are four split in to time periods. And of course remeber this only goes up to just after Summerslam, the diary has progressed a couple of months since then which will briefly be mentioned in the next post or so.

  • 3 weeks later...
[B]World Wrestling Federation Headquarters, Greenwich, Connecticut 22nd Novemeber 1998, 10:37[/B] Once again I found myself walking down the seemingly endless corridor on the way to Vince’s office at WWF Headquarters. “How had I let it come to this again?” I pondered as I walked past dozens of office workers. I eventually reached his door, took a sharp breath, knocked on the door and barged in as per usual, just trying not to show any fear or weakness in front of the billionaire businessman. [COLOR="DarkRed"]“You!”[/COLOR] he bellowed, as if he was looking at the guy who had slept with his wife. His daughter maybe, but not his wife… [COLOR="navy"]“Mr McMahon, let me explain…”[/COLOR] [COLOR="darkred"]“Explain? What is there to explain? What was it you said last time? That you were back for good?”[/COLOR] [COLOR="navy"]“Look, Mr Mack, whatever I said, whatever I did, I didn’t mean it. I just want you back for good.”[/COLOR] [COLOR="darkred"]“Don’t start with the random crap again, boy, I’m seriously P.O’d this time. You guaranteed results, you came back for a month and you disappeared again. What will the people think?”[/COLOR] His face began to go red. There was no Gulp Of Doom a la the Mr McMahon character, this was all Vincent Kennedy McMahon the human being, and he was annoyed at my inconsistency. [COLOR="navy"]“Okay, Vince, I’ll be straight with you. Things have been pretty hectic, but my love of the game never wandered. I’ve kept plans in my mind, I’m pleased with what I’ve done before and by God I love the ideas for the future. I’ve let you and the people down, I know everyone expects regular updates and I haven’t done that. But I promise that if I’m given the second chance, or fifth even, I will do all I can to entertain you. There may be lapses, there may be slow updates, but if I have the time and the energy I would love to give this bad boy another go.”[/COLOR] I could see that Vince understood where I was coming from, but lets face it, I had let him down. My guarantees had proven to be hollow and now I was asking him to take the risk on me. [COLOR="darkred"]“What if the people have forgotten about you? What if you’ve become yesterdays news and since all these new bucks have come along you’re the Giant Gonzales to their Rey Mysterio?”[/COLOR] [COLOR="navy"]“Honestly, I’m worried, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take. I know I could come back and tarnish my legacy, but I love this place and I am pleased with what I have done in the past. I say, if you accept me, I want to move on and get this back on track from where I was.”[/COLOR] Whether he was in character or not, Vince loved drama. He turned his chair around, stood up and looked thoughtfully over the construction site view from his window and stroked his chin. He then turned to me and said, in a very gentle voice… [COLOR="darkred"]“One more chance. Don’t let me down.”[/COLOR] [COLOR="Navy"]“I will do my best…”[/COLOR] [COLOR="DarkRed"]"In that case, it’s settled....[/COLOR] [SIZE="4"][B]From Montreal To Attitude is back, and it’s better than ever… Again!”[/B][/SIZE]

Thanks guys! Glad you're looking forward to this coming back, I certainly am and I love seeing it on the front page again. And glad the Take That reference went down so well, didn't see that one coming! Also, even though I will do a brief update of what has happened in the last few months game time, it would be quite useful, if you have the time of course, to read over the last few shows. Only reason I say thta is my first show back is a PPV and the whole point of the PPV is it is built up to, rather than just there. So if you have time to look at the shows from Judment Day onwards sort of time, that would be lovely. Anyway, the update of post-Summerslam will be coming up next.

Okay, now I'm just going to leave a little update of where we are up to so far and sort of what to expect in the future. After starting in December 1997, we are now at October 1998 and the next show is Capital Carnage, live from Wembley Arena, London and will be the first major PPV broadcast from out of North America since Summerslam 1992. [IMG]http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l161/Game-Face/Keefowen.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/ShawnMichaels.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/TripleH1998.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/TheUndertaker1998.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/Kane-1.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/JeffJarrett1998.jpg[/IMG] The main event will be the first ever London Dungeon match, a six way Elimination Hell In A Cell type match where Owen Hart will defend his WWF Title again. After months of trying, Owen finally won the belt at Raw in Montreal from Shawn Michaels and has since successfully defended it against Triple H and Shawn Michaels at Judgment Day, who in turn beat Kane & The Undertaker for the shot. Judgment Day, however, failed to settle anything so the Dungeon was booked to feature all 5 men, plus one extra which would be decided on Raw. Jeff Jarrett shocked the world by not only earning the shot but earning the 6th entrant spot, leaving Owen and Michaels to continue their feud from 1&2. [IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/SteveAustin-1.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/VinceMcMahon1998.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/ShaneMcMahon.jpg[/IMG] After losing the title and being fired by the McMahon’s, Stone Cold Steve Austin returned and has been raising hell ever since. After throwing WWF Chairman off a steel cage in their match at Judgment Day (Vince McMahon is reported to be wheelchair bound for 3-5 years after the incident), Austin is now feuding with Vince’s son Shane. The Rattlesnake and the Boy Wonder are scheduled to clash in a Street Fight at Carnage, but not without The Acolytes, Pat Patterson, Gerald Brsico and Vince McMahon himself having roles to play. That said, Austin took out Faarooq on Raw and is promising he is just the first of many as he looks to defeat Shane and earn the right to a shot at the WWF Title. However, should he lose, he will never get another shot again… [IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/TheRock-1.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/Mankind1998.jpg[/IMG] The last few months have seen The Rock and Mankind feud to epic proportions. It started so innocently with Mankind getting on The Rock’s nerves without even noticing but has now erupted in to a full scale war. Mankind may be in the Great One’s head but after the brutal assault on Mankind’s friend Terry Funk, both men will be looking for retribution in their upcoming I Quit match. [IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/DaveFinlay.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/KenShamrock-1.jpg[/IMG] Finlay debuted in a scene of brutality and has remained undefeated since. Now a member of The Alliance, the Fighting Irishman is managed by Paul Bearer and has a shot at the Intercontinental Title at Capital Carnage, but will have to face the dominant champion Ken Shamrock to win it. [IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/JeffHardy-1.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/MattHardy.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/Edge1998.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/ChristianCage.jpg[/IMG] The Hardy Boyz, despite their young age have found themselves to be one of the most popular duos on the roster, a statement which has been backed up by winning the tag Team Titles from Kane & The Undertaker, albeit with an element of help from DX. They have spent much of the year feuding with fellow youngsters Edge & Christian, but despite retaining the gold at Judgment Day the North Carolina brothers will put the straps on the line once more at Carnage in a Ladder Match to determine who really is the best! [IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/Taz-1.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/RobVanDam-1.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/Goldust-1.jpg[/IMG] How do you some up Tazz’s debut year in the WWF in one paragraph? He ended the King of the Court Open Challenge in his debut at Wrestlemania, went on to win the tag Team Titles with a man he despised in Goldust and has just returned from a suspension after Piledriving the Bizarre One on to the concrete at Summerslam! Tazz continued his path of destruction by targeting random members of the roster until Rob Van Dam stood up to him! Van Dam is seen as the rising star of the WWF, and the two men are due to face of in London. [IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/TakaMichinoku3.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/MikeQuackenbush.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/DickTogo.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/Tajiri.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/KazHayashi.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/Funaki.jpg[/IMG] The Light-Heavyweight scene has never looked so interesting with Taka Michinoku and Mike Quackenbush focal points alongside the thug stable Zukaya, made up of Togo, Tajiri, Funaki, the WWF Light-Heavyweight Champion Hayashi and their manager Yamaguchi-San. Hayashi won the gold from Psicosis and will team with Chavo Guerrero Jr at Capital Carnage to face Taka Michinoku (who Zukaya put out of action for a while) and Psicosis in a tag match, the person scoring the winning pinfall leaves the champion! [IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/ChavoGuerreroJr1998.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/SuperCrazy.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/MrAguila.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/Psicosis.jpg[/IMG] Speaking of Chavo and Psicosis, ever since Psicosis shocked the fans by winning the Light-Heavyweight title form Chavito Heat on his debut, poor Chavo has been unable to defeat the luchadore. Despite many encounters in many circumstances, Chavo has yet to pin Psicosis’ shoulders to the mat for three, much to the obvious distain of the former champion, but now Chavito Heat has brought in his buddies Reyes Rios Rodrigues and Essa Aguila to form the Vato Loco’s could that be about to change? [IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/JesseJames1998.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/BillyGunn1998.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/JerryLawler.jpg[/IMG] The Alliance right now is arguably the powerful element on the roster, being made up of the McMahon’s, WWF Champion Owen Hart, Kane, The Undertaker, Finlay and the Acolytes. They of course rule with an iron fist, taking out the New Age Outlaws months ago but also taking out Jerry “The King” Lawler, who stood up for JR in an unfair match they put him in. Bobby “The Brain” Heenan has stepped in temporarily to cover colour commentary. [IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/LanceStorm-1.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/DLoBrown.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/MarcMero.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s116/keefmoon/Sable.jpg[/IMG] Finally, the European Title is to be reinstated at Capital Carnage as a full time championship for the first time. A tournament has been held and the final is due to take place at Wembley Arena between hot prospect Lance Storm (now managed by the luscious Sable since she split from husband Marc Mero) and Sir Desmond Lowford Browington III Esq, who ironically debuted the very Raw after we last saw D’Lo Brown. That should be everything. Up next is the Capital Carnage preview for predictions and such.

[CENTER][FONT="Century Gothic"][B][SIZE="4"]PREDICTIONS[/SIZE][/B] Since I made the Survivor Series poster, I can make a very informed guess on the results of the two main matches, as I know the champion and challenger(s). So I'll skip over those two and predict the rest. [B]I Quit[/B] The Rock vs [COLOR="Navy"][B]Mankind[/B][/COLOR] - I love The Rock but Mankind is a pain-junky... he won't be saying I Quit, he'll be asking for more! [B]WWF Intercontinental Title Match[/B] [COLOR="navy"][B]Finlay[/B][/COLOR] vs Ken Shamrock (c) - Tough one but I'm going to have to side with the undefeated Irishman. [B]First Ever Tag Team Ladder Match for the WWF Tag Team Titles[/B] Edge & Christian vs [COLOR="navy"][B]Hardy Boyz (c)[/B][/COLOR] - My head says E&C but I'm too much of a Hardys mark to go against them. Yay, new FMTA! Giggidy-giggidy! [U]PREDICTIONS[/U] London Dungeon Match for the WWF Championship [B]Owen Hart (c)[/B] vs Undertaker vs Kane vs Jeff Jarrett vs Shawn Michaels vs Triple H [I]Something of a longshot, considering the roll the New American Dream has been on, and Owen starting off the match, but it took him forever to attain the gold ... I don't think he'll lose it just yet.[/I] Street Fight- Gerald Brisco Special Referee, Timekeeper Vince McMahon, Ring Announcer Pat Patterson, Special Enforcers The Acolytes If Austin wins he gets a title shot, if he loses he never gets a shot again Shane McMahon vs [B]Stone Cold Steve Austin[/B] [I]With so much going against the Texas Rattlesnake, one could conclude that Shane could pick up the win, which is exactly why he won't pick up the win.[/I] I Quit The Rock vs [B]Mankind[/B] [I]I think the vengeance Foley desires in the name of his fallen Funk friend will allow him to pick up the victory over the Great One.[/I] WWF Intercontinental Title Match [B]Finlay[/B] vs Ken Shamrock (c) [I]Finlay's been unstoppable since his debut, and as close a match as this is, I think the momentum will continue with the Irishman.[/I] First Ever Tag Team Ladder Match for the WWF Tag Team Titles [B]Edge & Christian[/B] vs Hardy Boyz (c) [I]E&C have the Gangrel factor in their favor, which should be just enough to tips the scales. 5 second pose! Awesomeness! :p[/I] Tag Team Match for the WWF Light-Heavyweight Championship [B]Hayashi (c) & Chavo Guerrero Jr[/B] vs Taka Michinoku & Psicosis [I]Chavo and Hayashi both have the numbers in their favor, and unless Chavo can swerve the match, as to gain the belt for himself, Hayashi hangs onto it.[/I] Single Match Taz vs [B]Rob Van Dam[/B] [I]Goldust makes a cameo this match (get it, like in a movie? No ... okay.) and the distraction causes the human suplex machine the match. Afterwards, someone will end up on their head, `cause it's what Taz does. :D[/I] WWF European Title Tournament Final [B]Sir Desmond Lowford Brownington III Esq[/B] vs Lance Storm [I]I got no logic for this. British D'Lo is just awesome. lol[/I] Mystery Signing Makes His Debut Tajiri vs [B]???[/B] [I]Unwritten rule #7: ??? = winner 91% of the time.[/I]

PREDICTIONS London Dungeon Match for the WWF Championship Owen Hart (c) vs Undertaker vs [B]Kane[/B] vs Jeff Jarrett vs Shawn Michaels vs Triple H - I know he's a bit of a smoky here, but I'm a big time fan of Kane's. Unless Taker and Kane start going at it and almost forget what's going on with the Title, I just think Kane here is at his prime. Hard choice, because the love for Owen Hart is rubbing off on me too Street Fight- Gerald Brisco Special Referee, Timekeeper Vince McMahon, Ring Announcer Pat Patterson, Special Enforcers The Acolytes If Austin wins he gets a title shot, if he loses he never gets a shot again Shane McMahon vs [B]Stone Cold Steve Austin[/B] - Hmmmmm, my favourite.... I'm desperate for a Gerald Brisco promo before the match, mate ;-) You know what I'm talking about. Austin has to win, somehow. I Quit The Rock vs [B]Mankind[/B] Piped in I Quits I tells ya WWF Intercontinental Title Match [B]Finlay[/B] vs Ken Shamrock (c) I think you're going to back the plucky bar brawler... First Ever Tag Team Ladder Match for the WWF Tag Team Titles [B]Edge & Christian[/B] vs Hardy Boyz (c) Tag Team Match for the WWF Light-Heavyweight Championship Hayashi (c) & Chavo Guerrero Jr vs [B]Taka Michinoku & Psicosis[/B] I love Psicosis, Psicosis was an all time legend. Brillaint worker, sadly underrated. Single Match Taz vs [B]Rob Van Dam[/B] WWF European Title Tournament Final Sir Desmond Lowford Brownington III Esq vs [B]Lance Storm[/B] Mystery Signing Makes His Debut Tajiri vs [B]???[/B] Mystery man usually gets the gig

This diary is good, simply put. Coming from a guy who lives in Montreal, haha. Having Owen win the belt from Michaels in Montreal was solid as well. The whole direction of this is strong and looking great, you look like you have something going with this, and I'm glad it hasn't been left for dead as well.
