  3. Since i'm having a brush with MattShanon's The Main Event and justtxyank's Rising Storms as WWF, i was thinking on making a diary.

However, i don't know which character play, i want to make it believable and fun to read, but i'm also aiming to re-write history to avoid the usual 'Hulk dominates Wrestlemania' and let other guys deserve their waited push that they never had because of the Hulkster himself.

An idea would be to play as Hulk Hogan himself. Why? Because then you're not going to complain about losing a match. :)

  4. WWE has finally done enough for me that I will no longer be watching their product. The 'Super-Cena' crap insults my intelligence as a wrestling fan as much as the Katie Vick crap did. Cena couldn't sell water to someone that was on fire. This has been the straw that broke the camel's back. And I am a long-time WWE fan that has defended them to people time and time again. I can no longer defend them. Time to go back to my TEW and the good old days of wrestling.
  5. <p><strong>Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes, & “Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman</strong> vs. “Macho Man” Randy Savage, California Kip, & “Guardian Angel” Bubba Rogers w/Dusty Rhodes & Jimmy Hart</p><p>

    <strong>Scott Steiner</strong> vs. Road Warrior Hawk w/Dusty Rhodes</p><p>

<em>Comments: Standard tag team feud mechanism. Scott Steiner gets the win over Hawk to even things up between the two teams.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Comments: Cannot wait to get the Steiner Brothers in my game. Most likely my favorite tag team ever.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Winners Get a Tag Team Title Shot (either set)</p><p>

    <em>Comment: Nothing wrong with a little cheating. </em><img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

    The Patriot vs. <strong>Ron Simmons</strong></p><p>

<strong>The Texas Regulators (Tex Slazenger & Shanghai Pierce)</strong> vs. Devon Storm & Kimo</p><p>

    <em>Comment: New name equals victory.</em></p>

  19. Halloween Havoc was an amazing pay-per-view, Beejus. Of course it was capped off by the surprise turn of the American Dream Dusty Rhodes. It's been quite awhile since he was heel. Any chance of him getting the nickname, "The Texas Outlaw" as his heel nickname?

I feel sorry for The Dragon. He had the win all sewn up before the interference of the Kings Of Wrestling (and their Queen). But I am sure that he is likely to not be done with Hogan. Next time, I say let's do this in a cage, brother!

The undercard was solid. Terry Funk showing up to be the 'mystery partner' of Cactus Jack was not so much a mystery but it made sense and that's what's important. No need to pull a swerve for a swerve's sake.

It looks like we might be heading toward a Starrcade match between Hollywood Hogan and Sting. If so, sign me up. Sign me up, anyway because I know you'll do a great job with the build toward WCW's signature card.

  20. <p>Hollywood Hogan vs. <strong>Ricky Steamboat</strong></p><p>

<em>Steamboat surprises everyone with a victory but does not get the title.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Street Fight - Vader vs. <strong>Sting</strong></p><p>

<em>The man called Sting steps up to this victory.</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>Ric Flair</strong> vs. Roddy Piper</p><p>

    <em>I just cannot pick against Flair.</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>Stunning Steve Austin</strong> vs. Johnny B. Badd</p><p>

    <em>More upside with Austin.</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>Brian Pillman</strong> vs. Lord Steven Regal</p><p>

    <em>Pillman is the stand-out of this diary.</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>The Nasty Boys</strong> vs. Arn Anderson & Dustin Rhodes</p><p>

    <em>You're really pushing the Nasties.</em></p><p> </p><p>

    <strong>Rock 'n Roll Express</strong> vs. The Heavenly Bodies</p><p>

    <em>Rock and Roll Forever!</em></p><p> </p><p>

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs. <strong>The Butcher</strong></p><p>

<em>Keep Hulk happy with his friend winning.</em></p><p> </p><p>

The Sullivans vs. <strong>Cactus Jack and Mystery Partner</strong></p><p>

    <em>Mr. Squiggles!</em></p><p> </p><p>

The Armstrong Brothers vs. <strong>The Young Pistols</strong></p><p>

<em>A tough match but the Wild Eyed Southern Boys, I mean, Young Pistols pick up the victory.</em></p><p> </p><p>

One of these matches WILL NOT TAKE PLACE. Which will it be? (if you put a winner down, it won't be counted) <strong>Brian Pillman v. Lord Steven Regal</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Which was the best match of the card? <strong>Hogan v. Steamboat</strong></p><p> </p><p>

How many turns may there be? <strong>One</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Who is Cactus Jack's mystery partner? <strong>Terry Funk is too obvious. I go with Tommy Dreamer</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Will the main event end cleanly? <strong>No</strong></p>

  21. <p>No comments this time. No time for them. But I am really enjoying this, Beejus!</p><p> </p><p>

Fun Fan Signs: 'Brian Is Flying Pretty!'

  24. I'm working on finishers and ring music for my SWF dynasty, and am finding it a surprisingly long and tough process. The ring music is fun -- if a song doesn't suggest itself to me for a guy, I can always throw a song on them that feels like it should be SOMEBODY's wrestling theme song.

But the finishers are taking a long time -- I'm searching WreSpi, Wikipedia and YouTube to find moves that fit the characters, as well as (in most cases) their canonical finisher names. I guess I don't need to figure all of these out now -- I can wait until the worker uses his finisher, and even then sometimes I may just be able to say, for example, "Remo hits the Destroyer" without going into an explanation of what that is.

(I mean, not the Destroyer. The Destroyer is obviously a muscle buster. I've known that ever since I decided yesterday that the Destroyer was a muscle buster. But, like, Rich Money's finishers -- what the hell are those? :) )

One thing that I've always done in regards to finishers is look up the move on Wrestling Spirit 2. Rich Money's finishers in particular are on there. You can d/l the demo of WS2 and then look up the move in the database.
