Thank you to everyone for the predictions so far. I appreciate all the readers that I have and continue to have as we move forward. As you can see, the pay-per-views are definitely going to take awhile to get out. I hope everyone can understand that. The Macho King last eliminated Hulk Hogan on his way to securing a WWF Heavyweight title match at WrestleMania VII. The Royal Rumble was not without controversy, however. In the WWF Heavyweight title match, The Ultimate Warrior defeated Sgt. Slaughter by pinfall. However, Slaughter's foot was on the bottom rope during the pinfall. We have learned that Jack Tunney will be making an announcement in regards to what happened at the Royal Rumble. It will be interesting to see what the WWF President has to say. -Having spoken of Randy Savage, he will be in action on this night when he takes on one half of the WWF World Tag Team Champions Bret Hart. The Hitman suffered an assault last night by The Russians following the victory by The Hart Foundation over The Orient Express. We're not sure what kind of condition Hart will be in for this match but a victory over the Macho King could definitely elevate him in the singles rankings. -Last week, we had a confrontation between Power & Glory with Slick and The Rockers on The Genius's Poetry Slam. This week, those two teams will see battle in tag team action. Both teams would definitely like a future WWF World Tag Team title match against The Hart Foundation. A win this week would definitely go a long way toward earning a shot at the titles. -There were a lot of surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble last evening. Some of those entrants will be making their WWF Prime Time Wrestling debuts or returns this evening. We will see men like Buddy Landel and Eddie Gilbert in action. The Nature Boy Buddy Landel was a bit of a disappointment to a lot of WWF fans. Many of them were expecting someone like Buddy Rogers or Ric Flair but Landel is no pushover and he begins showing that tonight. -Demolition make their return to the WWF following their suspension by Jack Tunney last month. Demolition took out Legion Of Doom member Hawk in the parking lot. Smash and Crush, led by Mr. Fuji, were suspended and fined due to this attack. Following that attack, The Bushwhackers are looking to gain some revenge for The Legion Of Doom. Which team will earn some momentum as we move forward? -Plus we will see Barry Hardy take on Jake Roberts, Piper's Pit hosted by Roddy Piper, Koko B. He says that the rules for the Royal Rumble are as follows: 2 men start in the ring and every 2 minutes another wrestler comes out until all 30 men are in the ring. Eliminations occur by being thrown over the top rope and both feet touching the floor. The match will continue until 29 competitors have been eliminated with the last man standing in the ring being declared the winner. The winner of this year's Royal Rumble will receive a WWF Heavyweight title shot at WrestleMania VII. The first wrestler that comes out to the ring is former WWF Intercontinental Champion Ricky Steamboat! The Dragon comes out to cheers from the crowd, entering the ring and sending fire up into the air as he moves to a back corner. After he gets settled, the music for Mr. Perfect begins to play and here comes the WWF Intercontinental Champion! What a huge surprise! Roddy Piper reminds the fans that last Monday night Perfect said that if Steamboat eliminates him he will get an Intercontinental title shot! Now these two men have selected numbers one and two in the Royal Rumble! The bell sounds and the two men meet in the center of the ring with Perfect spitting his gum in the face of Steamboat. He uses the distraction to throw some punches and knock Steamboat back into the corner. Perfect throws a few punches to the body before Steamboat grabs him and turns him around, throwing chops in the corner! He lights up Perfect's chest with those chops! Steamboat pulls Perfect out of the corner and sends him to the ropes -- reversed! Perfect catches Steamboat with a picture perfect dropkick! Steamboat staggers backward and goes over the top rope, grabbing the top rope and skinning the cat! Perfect turns around, celebrating the elimination but Steamboat holds on! Steamboat pulls himself back in the ring just as Perfect turns around. Perfect rushes Steamboat and Steamboat ducks a clothesline before throwing Perfect with an arm drag! A second one! Steamboat remains in control of Perfect as the two minutes comes to an end and here comes the contestant who selected number three.] <img alt="5bSAVKr.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/5bSAVKr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> [it's Haku! Haku rushes down toward the ring, sliding inside and going right after Ricky Steamboat! Haku catches Steamboat with a headbutt before checking on Mr. Perfect. The two Heenan Family members begin double teaming The Dragon. They try to get him over the top rope but Steamboat holds on, dropping onto the apron and then rolling back in the ring. Mr. Perfect catches Steamboat with a snap mare out of the corner and then a rolling neck snap. He plays to the crowd, drawing boos. Perfect and Haku look at each other for a moment and the announcers wonder if the two Heenan Family members are going to go at it. After all, it's every man for himself in the Royal Rumble. Perfect motions to the fallen Steamboat, telling Haku to eliminate him. Haku looks down at Steamboat and then back up to Perfect. Haku shoves Mr. Perfect! Perfect shoves Haku back! The two men look like they are about to throw punches when Steamboat pulls himself up and catches Haku with a chop! He catches Perfect with a back elbow. Steamboat pulls Haku to the ropes and is trying to eliminate him! Haku grabs the top rope, effectively stopping Steamboat from being able to pull him over. He catches Steamboat with an elbow and then a headbutt. Haku goes for a crescent kick but Steamboat ducks and the kick hits Mr. Perfect! Perfect falls to the mat and Steamboat starts to go to war with Haku! As the two men go to battle, the buzzer sounds and it's time for the fourth participant in the Royal Rumble to come out.] <img alt="QJ9zMhv.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/QJ9zMhv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> [it's Big Bossman! Bossman lost to Mr. Perfect earlier tonight following a low blow so you know he's got to be looking for revenge, right? Bossman slides into the ring and looks toward the battling Ricky Steamboat and Haku before turning his attention to Mr. Perfect. Perfect begs off from the Bossman but the Bossman just smiles. The Big Bossman charges in and hits Perfect with a few kicks as Perfect pulls himself up in the corner. Bossman climbs up and begins throwing punches as the crowd counts along! He gets to ten before dropping back down. He grabs Perfect and places him across the middle rope. He bounces off the ropes and charges, sliding underneath the bottom rope before catching Perfect with an uppercut! Bossman slides back into the ring, having not been eliminated since he went underneath the bottom rope. In one corner, Ricky Steamboat and Haku are exchanging blows and in another side of the ring, Big Bossman is trying to eliminate Mr. Perfect. Bossman has Perfect up on the ropes and almost over! Haku manages to get the advantage on Steamboat and charges across the ring, catching Bossman with a headbutt from behind, saving his Heenan Family member. Bossman turns around and begins exchanging blows with Haku. Haku throws a wild punch and Bossman ducks, lifting him up and sending him over the top rope! Haku lands on the floor outside the ring and has been eliminated! We have our first elimination of the night and it's a big one! As Big Bossman stares down at Haku, the buzzer sounds for the next entrant.] <img alt="U4aGpYu.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/U4aGpYu.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> [The next entrant is the man who won the 1989 Royal Rumble, Big John Studd! Studd slowly begins making his way down toward the ring, taking his time and observing what's happening as Mr. Perfect catches Big Bossman with a rake to the eyes. Perfect hits Bossman with a standing dropkick before turning his attention to Ricky Steamboat. Studd enters the ring by moving in over the top rope. Perfect distracts Steamboat enough that he doesn't see Studd coming! Studd catches Steamboat with a forearm shot to the back. Studd locks Steamboat in a reverse bear hug. Perfect takes the time to throw some punches to the chest of Steamboat before the Big Bossman comes in and attacks Perfect. As Bossman battles Perfect, Steamboat seems to be fading in the arms of Studd. Studd finally releases the reverse bear hug and grabs Steamboat, throwing him over the top rope. For the second time in the match, Steamboat grabs the top rope and begins skinning the cat. Studd walks over and throws a couple of forearm shots, trying to eliminate Steamboat but The Dragon manages to hold on! Steamboat manages to get back in the ring and begins doing battle with the much larger athlete in Big John Studd. Steamboat tries an arm drag but Studd just stands there, shaking his head. Steamboat releases and ducks a few punches from Studd! Perfect catches Big Bossman with a forearm shot, knocking him backward right into Studd! They bang heads together, knocking Studd for a loop. The buzzer sounds and it's time for the next participant in the match.] <img alt="k7j0cND.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/k7j0cND.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> ['Hacksaw' Jim Duggan is next! The announcers remind us that he won the very first Royal Rumble! Duggan charges the ring with 2X4 in hand! He slides in and goes right after Big John Studd with the piece of wood, striking Studd in the gut and then over the back! Duggan has the crowd on their feet as he bounces off the ropes and catches Studd with a big shoulderblock that knocks Studd off his feet! What power shown by Jim Duggan tonight! Duggan and Ricky Steamboat team up to put the boots to Studd while Big Bossman still battles Mr. Perfect, his opponent from earlier tonight. Bossman sends Perfect to the ropes and catches him with the Bossman Slam! Perfect is planted in the center of the ring but there's no pinfalls in the Royal Rumble! Bossman picks up Perfect and guides him to the ropes, working to make his second elimination of the night by trying to get Perfect over the top rope. He does manage to get Perfect over but Perfect lands down on the apron. Bossman turns back to where Studd has managed to get to his feet. Big John Studd takes out Jim Duggan and Ricky Steamboat with a double clothesline! He hits Bossman with a headbutt! Studd roars as he stands tall in the ring. Studd staggers slightly, grabbing his back where he had been struck with the 2X4 before picking up Jim Duggan. He throws Duggan over the top rope but Duggan lands on the apron. He tries to get back into the ring but Studd catches him with a clothesline that sends him off the apron and to the floor. Jim Duggan has been eliminated! Just as Duggan was eliminated, the buzzer sounds for the next competitor.] <img alt="Z2c8bvR.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/Z2c8bvR.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> [Tugboat comes out from the back, bellowing with the crowd as he makes the sound of the foghorn. He walks down to the ring, passing Jim Duggan along the way. Tugboat enters the ring and goes face-to-face with Big John Studd. The two begin exchanging punches with Tugboat starting to get the advantage. Tugboat pulls the foghorn and throws a punch but Studd blocks and catches Tugboat with a kick to the gut. Studd hooks Tugboat and shows some power and skill when he throws Tugboat with a double underhook suplex. Studd gets up and grabs Tugboat, motioning toward the ropes. He rushes toward them and throws Tugboat over the top rope, showcasing his absolute power! Tugboat crashes to the floor, eliminated! Studd moves back into a corner as the cameras focus in on the remaining wrestlers doing battle, including Mr. Perfect, Ricky Steamboat and Big Bossman. Bossman slams Perfect in the center of the ring as Steamboat heads to the top turnbuckle. Steamboat waits for Perfect to get to his feet and then leaps with the flying cross body! Again, there's no pinfalls here in the Royal Rumble but Steamboat is definitely wearing down Perfect. As Steamboat and Bossman continue to double-team Perfect, the buzzer sounds and a favorite comes out at number 8.] <img alt="pUXLrvK.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/pUXLrvK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> [That favorite is the Macho King Randy Savage! Savage surveys the ring from the ringside area before leaping up on the apron and then heading to the top turnbuckle. He catches Ricky Steamboat with a diving double axehandle! Savage twirls his finger before turning and coming face-to-face with Big Bossman. The two men eye each other for a moment before they begin throwing punches. Bossman has been in for much longer than Savage so Savage gets the momentum. The Macho King takes Bossman over with a vertical suplex and then takes a chop from Steamboat! Big John Studd moves over and picks up Bossman, dropping him with a headbutt. Mr. Perfect seizes the moment and grabs the Big Bossman. Perfect clotheslines Big Bossman over the top rope! Bossman struggles on the apron but he takes a baseball slide kick by Mr. Perfect. Big Bossman is knocked off the apron and to the floor. He has been eliminated by Mr. Perfect! Perfect celebrates in the ring before he is grabbed by Big John Studd! Studd tosses Perfect over but Perfect lands on the apron. Perfect grabs the bottom rope, holding on tight to keep from being eliminated. Ricky Steamboat comes over and jumps on Studd's back! He locks a sleeper on Studd! Studd struggles around the ring, trying to figure out a way to remove Steamboat from his back! Perfect rolls back in the ring and as the fight continues for all the men in the ring the buzzer sounds for the next contestant.] <img alt="1pzalxC.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/1pzalxC.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> [its a big one! Number nine is the man called Earthquake! Earthquake rumbles his way down toward the ring, stepping inside and pulling Ricky Steamboat off Big John Studd! Earthquake brings Steamboat to the mat with a powerslam and then looks around. He bounces off the ropes -- Earthquake Splash! Steamboat is just an ink stain on the mat with that Earthquake Splash! Earthquake gets up and then goes face-to-face with Big John Studd! Mr. Perfect and Randy Savage stand back as they watch the two big men go face-to-face! Each man tries to shove the other but neither man wants to budge. Finally, Earthquake delivers a punch! Studd fires back with a headbutt! Earthquake's punch! Studd's headbutt! Both men are striking with neither man wanting to back down from the other. Earthquake bounces off the ropes and hits Studd with a clothesline! A second one rocks Studd! Earthquake moves in and lifts Studd off his feet near the ropes! He's trying to eliminate Big John Studd! Studd holds on to the top rope, firing off some punches to try and break free. In the background, Mr. Perfect moves in to Ricky Steamboat, picking him up off the mat and looking to eliminate The Dragon but Steamboat holds on to the top rope. He refuses to be eliminated! Randy Savage stays back in a corner away from all the action. As the action continues, the buzzer sounds and we have our next entrant.] <img alt="bWUH0Rf.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/bWUH0Rf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> [The next entrant is Earthquake's partner, Dino Bravo! Canada's strongest man rushes into the ring and goes right after Big John Studd, helping his friend and partner as they now battle in a corner. Bravo steps back and motions to Earthquake. He goes down on the mat in the center of the ring and Earthquake sits on Bravo's back. Bravo shows off as he does five straight push-ups with Earthquake sitting on his back! The crowd boos this show-off move as the action continues all around these two men. Randy Savage has gotten into a fight with Ricky Steamboat in a rematch from WrestleMania III when Steamboat took the Intercontinental title from The Macho King. The Dragon gets the advantage and sends Savage into a neutral corner. Steamboat rushes in and sends Savage flying with a monkey flip! This knocks Savage right into Earthquake, who shoves Savage to the side. At the Royal Rumble it is always every man for himself and it has shown so far in this one as friend takes on friend and friend takes on foe. Ricky Steamboat throws Savage with an arm drag as the buzzer sounds for our next entrant. The Rock high fives the fans as he jogs down toward the ring. The former King of the Ring and two time Intercontinental Champion slides in under the bottom rope and is met by Dino Bravo! Muraco and Bravo begin exchanging punches near the ropes. The two powerful men share blows before Muraco starts to get the advantage. Muraco lifts Bravo for a version of the Tombstone Piledriver but it's broken up by Earthquake, coming to the rescue of his partner. Earthquake lifts Muraco and then falls forward, flattening Muraco on the mat. He gets back up and grabs the top rope, using his boot to choke Muraco! On another side of the ring, Randy Savage has climbed the top turnbuckle, taking aim at a prone Ricky Steamboat, who is on the mat. Savage catches Steamboat with a flying elbow drop! The crowd boos as The Macho King gets to his feet, celebrating that move. Mr. Perfect moves over and motions to Savage to help him eliminate Steamboat. Savage shakes his head, mouthing that he doesn't take orders from anyone and throws a punch to Perfect! Big John Studd rushes over and drops both Savage and Perfect with a double clothesline! On the other side, Earthquake catches Muraco with an Earthquake Splash! Dino Bravo pulls Muraco up and he teams with Earthquake to get Muraco over the top rope. Don Muraco spills off the apron and to the floor at ringside. Don Muraco has been eliminated! He makes sure that no one is looking before he slides underneath the ring! Gilbert is hiding underneath the ring! A smart move, though a cheap one that gets a lot of heat from Roddy Piper on commentary. In the ring, Big John Studd has started to dominate everyone in the ring. This is shown especially when he takes Dino Bravo down with a running powerslam! He grabs Bravo and tosses him over the top rope! Dino Bravo lands on the floor, being eliminated! Studd looks down at Bravo and Earthquake comes behind Big John Studd, throwing him over the top rope and to the floor! Big John Studd is eliminated! We are down to four people inside the ring and one underneath the ring. Those four are Mr. Perfect, Ricky Steamboat, Randy Savage and Earthquake with Eddie Gilbert underneath the ring. Perfect and Steamboat have been in since the beginning and we're nearly to number thirteen. Perfect, Savage and Earthquake all go after The Dragon with Steamboat throwing as many chops as he can to keep the three men from sending him over the top rope. Simba fires back and catches Earthquake over the head with the African mask! The spear, thankfully, is tossed and lands at the ringside floor. Simba throws punches and sends Earthquake to the ropes. He lowers his head and shows off his power when he elevates Earthquake with a back body drop to the mat! Simba moves over to Mr. Perfect and Randy Savage, attacking them and keeping Ricky Steamboat from being eliminated! Simba lifts Mr. Perfect in a press slam, slamming him over the top rope but Perfect lands on the apron! Perfect quickly rolls back in the ring as Simba has turned his attention back to Randy Savage. Savage pokes Simba in the eye and then locks him in an abdominal stretch. Savage is working to wear the African Warrior down. Perfect pulls himself up in a corner but he is immediately attacked by Ricky Steamboat! The Dragon lifts Perfect up in a chicken wing submission hold. He releases after thirty seconds and then catches Perfect with a standing dropkick and Perfect goes over the top rope and falls to the floor! Mr. Perfect has been eliminated! Ricky Steamboat just eliminated Mr. Perfect! This means he gets an Intercontinental title shot! Johnson asks for and receives a microphone. He asks Tony Atlas just what he is doing with this whole Saba Simba thing. He says that this is Mr. USA Tony Atlas. He says that Atlas doesn't have to do this African Warrior thing. He says that Atlas is Mr. USA. Simba doesn't seem to understand. He responds in an African dialect. Johnson tries to shake Simba but Simba responds with a punch! Simba tries to eliminate Johnson but Johnson manages to hold on. Elsewhere, Earthquake is doing battle with Ricky Steamboat. Steamboat chops Earthquake's chest three times before Earthquake responds by lifting Steamboat and dropping him with a Snake Eyes on the turnbuckle before throwing him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Earthquake goes for the Earthquake Splash but Steamboat rolls out of the way and Earthquake crashes on the mat. We are shown Eddie Gilbert peeking out from underneath the ring briefly before disappearing back underneath the ring. The Undertaker gets the advantage and twists the arm of Earthquake. He climbs a corner and then walks along the top rope, striking Earthquake with a forearm shot! The Undertaker grabs Earthquake and tosses him over the top rope! Earthquake is eliminated! One of the favorites to win it all is gone! The Undertaker turns and clotheslines down both Saba Simba and Rocky Johnson. In another corner, Randy Savage grabs Ricky Steamboat and tries to eliminate him but Steamboat holds the top rope. He refuses to be eliminated by the Macho King. Steamboat fights back and catches Savage with several punches and then a swinging neckbreaker. Steamboat pops back up and The Undertaker kicks him in the gut. The Undertaker lifts Steamboat, going for the Tombstone Piledriver but Steamboat slips behind him. Steamboat strikes The Undertaker from behind, catching him with a running knee to the back and trying to eliminate him but The Undertaker holds on. Simba turns around, straight into a grab by The Undertaker! The Undertaker goozles the throat of Saba Simba, pushing him back against the ropes. Rocky Johnson moves in, trying to free his former partner but The Undertaker gets him by the throat as well. The Undertaker sends both Saba Simba and Rocky Johnson over the top rope to the floor! Both men are eliminated! This leaves Ricky Steamboat left in the ring with Randy Savage, The Undertaker and The Warlord! Eddie Gilbert is still hiding under the ring. The every man for himself part of the Royal Rumble shows itself when The Undertaker turns on The Warlord! The Undertaker strikes The Warlord with a throat thrust and then picks him up and body slams him on the mat. The Undertaker grabs Santana by the head and runs him along the apron to the ring post, slamming Santana head-first into the ring post! Tito Santana falls off the apron, crashing on the ringside floor, eliminated! The Undertaker looks down at Santana before he gets attacked from behind by The Warlord! The Warlord hits The Undertaker with several forearm smashes to the back before sending The Undertaker to the ropes -- powerslam! The Warlord stands up, looking strong before The Undertaker just sits up! The Undertaker turns his eyes toward The Warlord and rises to his feet. The two big men stare each other down before Randy Savage attacks The Warlord and Ricky Steamboat attacks The Undertaker! McDaniel and Randy Savage go after The Warlord, teaming up for the moment, striking him with a double clothesline. McDaniel lifts The Warlord and catches him with an Indian Death Drop and then locks on the Indian Death Lock! Savage strikes The Walord with a few kicks. On the other side of the ring, The Undertaker gains the advantage over Ricky Steamboat, lifting him up and dropping him with a Tombstone Piledriver! On one side of the ring, McDaniel releases the Indian Death Lock and lifts The Warlord. He drags The Warlord to the ropes and Wahoo McDaniel eliminates The Warlord! On the other side of the ring, Randy Savage has swooped in and attacked the fallen Ricky Steamboat. Savage lifts Steamboat and tosses him over the top rope, eliminating him! Wahoo McDaniel turns back to Randy Savage and the two men begin exchanging chops and punches. The Macho King locks McDaniel in an abdominal stretch briefly before releasing and heading to the top turnbuckles. The Macho King looks down at McDaniel, waiting for the Native American to get to his feet. As soon as McDaniel gets up, Savage leaps and catches McDaniel with a double axehandle. The Macho King briefly plays to the booing crowd, yelling at a fan in the front row that he is going to win tonight. The Undertaker stands back, watching the fight between Savage and McDaniel. Savage picks up McDaniel, looking to eliminate the Native American but McDaniel holds on to the top rope. He refuses to be eliminated. McDaniel falls down to the apron and quickly rolls back into the ring. Savage motions to The Undertaker to help him but The Undertaker just stares The Macho King down. Savage walks over, obviously a little tired since he's been in for quite a long time already, much longer than The Undertaker. Savage slaps The Undertaker to get his attention and The Undertaker looks down at him. Back inside the ring, The Undertaker and Randy Savage have started battling. The Undertaker grabs Savage and lifts him up on the top turnbuckle. Savage fights back, breaking the hold and then leaping with a double axe handle on The Undertaker! Vince McMahon, on the announce team, announces that Stan Hansen and Jake Roberts have both been officially eliminated from the Royal Rumble! Wahoo McDaniel moves over and attacks The Undertaker, teaming up with the Macho King again. They try to eliminate The Undertaker but Taker refuses to go up and over. Instead, he fires back punches to both McDaniel and Savage! The Undertaker grabs Wahoo McDaniel and tosses him over the top rope with McDaniel landing on the floor! Wahoo McDaniel has been eliminated! Another elimination for The Undertaker! Eddie Gilbert peeks out from under the ring and gets seen by Wahoo McDaniel! McDaniel goes under the ring, chasing the man known as Hot Stuff! In a few moments, McDaniel pulls Gilbert from underneath the ring and tosses him inside! Gilbert jaws at McDaniel from inside the ring before turning around right into The Undertaker. The Undertaker grabs Eddie Gilbert by the throat and tosses him with a Choke Slam over the top rope to the floor! Eddie Gilbert has been eliminated! Backlund begins hitting drop-steps in the ring, showing off his amateur background before he tries a double leg takedown on The Undertaker. Taker doesn't budge, though, instead, looking down at Backlund and staring into his soul. Backlund releases and stands back up, only for Randy Savage to attack him from behind. Savage hits Backlund with a double axehandle to the back before grabbing him and dragging him into the corner. Savage bangs Backlund's head into the turnbuckle before Backlund strikes with an elbow to the gut. Backlund turns and takes down Savage with a double leg takedown, riding him on the mat. Backlund uses his amateur background on Savage, moving into the referee's position and then bringing Savage back down to the mat. Backlund hooks Savage into the Cross Face Chicken Wing! Savage tries to fight the hold but he is slowly fading to black. The Undertaker stands back in a corner and watches the fight, patiently waiting for another wrestler to come to the ring. Valentine slides in the ring and goes immediately into a battle with The Undertaker! The two men exchange punches with Valentine striking with several piston-like Hammer Elbow shots to the head of The Undertaker! The crowd gets behind The Hammer as The Undertaker seems to be wearing down, having been in the ring for sixteen minutes already. Valentine strikes with a European Uppercut and then drops The Undertaker with a chopblock to the knee. Backlund has finally released Savage and watches as Greg Valentine locks The Undertaker in the Figure Four Leglock! Backlund walks over and mounts The Undertaker, throwing punches as Taker is locked in the Figure Four. Granted, Backlund is not prone to using punches very often but everything goes in the Royal Rumble. The Undertaker grabs Backlund by the throat, suddenly! He sits up in the Figure Four! Valentine's eyes go wide! The Undertaker throws Backlund backward and Backlund trips over Randy Savage to the mat. The Undertaker uses his strength to break the Figure Four before literally moving up to his feet. Valentine gets to his feet and begins throwing more Hammer Elbows to The Undertaker. He knocks Taker back to the ropes and then steps back. He charges Taker and Taker lowers his head. Greg Valentine goes over the top rope with a back body drop by The Undertaker! Valentine crashes to the mat and is eliminated! We are, once again, left with The Undertaker, Bob Backlund and Randy Savage. We have been seeing videos for the return of Ivan Koloff and the debut of his nephew Nikita Koloff. We also saw The Russians earlier tonight when they attacked The Hart Foundation. Koloff enters the ring and turns his attention to Bob Backlund. The two veterans of the ring begin brawling and using swift takedowns on each other. The Undertaker watches from a neutral corner, able to take a few moments to rest. In another side of the ring, Randy Savage is slowly recovering from the earlier Cross Face Chicken Wing. Koloff gets an advantage over Backlund, tossing him over the top rope but Backlund lands on the apron. Koloff turns to the crowd and plays to them, calling out to the fans that Russia is the best country in the world. Koloff turns back to Backlund and sets up for the Russian Sickle. Backlund slowly begins to pull himself to his feet and Koloff charges in -- Backlund catches him around the waist -- Belly-To-Belly Suplex. Backlund stands back up and Randy Savage moves in, grabbing Backlund and tossing him over the top rope. Backlund holds on! He rolls back in the ring from the apron as Savage grabs the ropes, trying to control himself. It's Hulk Hogan! The Real American marches down toward the ring, having had issues in the past with both The Undertaker and Randy Savage. Hogan steps inside and he is, surprisingly, confronted by Bob Backlund. Backlund does the 'belt' motion and, for those who can read lips, he is telling Hogan that Hogan never gave him a title shot because Hogan knew that he would regain the title. With both men distracted by the argument, they are both attacked by Randy Savage and Ivan Koloff! Koloff battles with Hogan, while Savage battles with Backlund. Koloff goes for an early Russian Sickle on Hogan but Hogan ducks and then fires off punches to The Russian Bear! He sends Koloff to the ropes and catches him with a big boot! Hogan turns and sees Randy Savage looking to eliminate Bob Backlund. Hogan moves over and tries to eliminate both of them! Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage eliminate Bob Backlund! Savage stays in the fight, though, raking the eyes of Hogan to stop from being eliminated. We are down to four wrestlers in the ring, again, with Randy Savage, The Undertaker, Ivan Koloff and Hulk Hogan. Hogan and Savage do battle in a corner with Ivan Koloff approaching The Undertaker. Koloff shoves Taker but Taker doesn't budge. Instead, Taker takes down Koloff with a single punch. Ted DiBiase and The Undertaker were already responsible for Dusty Rhodes and Dustin Rhodes being out of the WWF. DiBiase, also, got attacked by Virgil earlier on, losing his bodyguard/servant. DiBiase slides in the ring and joins The Undertaker in an assault on Ivan Koloff. In the other side of the ring, Hulk Hogan drops Randy Savage with a big boot. He cups his ear to the crowd, drawing in cheers from this crowd. He goes to bounce off the ropes and with that, he bumps right into Ivan Koloff, who was thrown into the way by The Million Dollar Man. The heads of Hogan and The Russian Bear collide and Ivan Koloff stumbles over the top rope and to the floor! Ivan Koloff has been eliminated! That might be the most interesting elimination of the night so far but we still have a lot more to go. The Million Dollar Man and The Undertaker turn their sights on Hulk Hogan. They begin double teaming Hogan to boos from the crowd. Randy Savage is, again, taking the time to rest as The Million Dollar Man locks The Million Dollar Dream on Hulk Hogan! The Undertaker moves back to what seems to be his usual neutral corner as DiBiase is trying to knock Hulk Hogan out with the Million Dollar Dream. As DiBiase has that hold on Hogan, the buzzer sounds and our next competitor comes out.] <img alt="aAY6mnl.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/aAY6mnl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> [The British Bulldog is the next man in the ring! He won the right to select from between 25-30 by defeating The Warlord in an over the top rope challenge match on Prime Time Wrestling. His luck of the draw was number 27. This is the same number that Big John Studd won from back in 1989. Bulldog jogs his way down toward the ring where, inside, The Million Dollar Man still has Hulk Hogan in the Million Dollar Dream. The crowd begins clapping their hands and chanting for Hogan. He begins fighting his way up, throwing some elbow shots to the gut of DiBiase to break the hold. Hogan catches DiBiase with a kneelift before suddenly rushing The Undertaker! Hogan hits The Undertaker with an unexpected corner clothesline before making the body slam motion with his hands. Hulk Hogan picks up The Undertaker and body slams him over the top rope to the floor! The Undertaker has been eliminated! What a huge elimination for Hogan! The Undertaker has set a Royal Rumble record with seven eliminations this year! But he was, still, unable to survive and win a trip to WrestleMania. During this time, The British Bulldog has started battling with Randy Savage. The Macho King has survived a lot in his time in the ring. He entered the ring at number eight and we just had entry number 27. The British Bulldog picks up Randy Savage, going for the Running Powerslam but Savage drops behind Bulldog, shoving Bulldog into the corner chest-first. Savage brings Bulldog over with a German Suplex! As the battle wages forward, the buzzer sounds for entry number 28.] <img alt="xdHJGhz.jpg" data-src="https://imgur.com/xdHJGhz.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> [The crowd cheers lightly as The Superfly Jimmy Snuka makes his way out to the ring. Snuka has, definitely, not been on the right side of time at this point in his career. Snuka enters the ring and begins a fight with The Million Dollar Man! Snuka hits DiBiase with a chop to the gut and then an uppercut. The high flying and fresh Snuka sends DiBiase to the ropes and catches him with a cross body block! Snuka plays to the crowd for a moment, gaining some momentum here as he continues an assault on DiBiase. On the other side of the ring, The British Bulldog is slowly recovering and Hulk Hogan is battling with Randy Savage in a rematch from WrestleMania V. Snuka brings over DiBiase with a vertical suplex before pointing to the top turnbuckle. Are we going to see a Superfly Splash here in the Royal Rumble? Snuka climbs to the top turnbuckle, briefly distracted by the fighting Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. He looks like he might lend a hand to Hogan but the distraction allows The Million Dollar Man to recover! DiBiase rushes over and knocks Snuka down, crotching him on the top turnbuckle! DiBiase climbs up and throws a few European Uppercut shots to Snuka. Snuka fires back with a headbutt but DiBiase recovers quickly. Ted DiBiase grabs Jimmy Snuka and tosses him to the floor! Jimmy Snuka has been eliminated! The Million Dollar Man hops back down in the ring and goes after The British Bulldog, catching him with a running kneelift. This name has referred to the inaugural WWWF World Heavyweight Champion Buddy Rogers, famous veteran wrestler from down south Ric Flair, among others. The man steps out from the back with his back to the camera and a black and white robe on him. Written in sequins on the back of the robe is 'The Nature Boy.' Landel struts down to the ring and steps inside. He gives a strut from one side of the ring to the other, releasing a 'Whoooo' to the crowd. He turns and has the attention of Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, The Million Dollar Man and Nikita Koloff. Landel goes after Hogan and gets knocked backward with a punch. Savage knocks him back with a punch, then The Million Dollar Man and then Nikita Koloff. Landel is getting bounced around like a pinball at this moment! Finally all four men grab him and lift him up. All four men in the ring toss Buddy Landel over the top rope to the floor! Buddy Landel is eliminated! Hulk Hogan moves back to a neutral corner, facing off with the trio of The Million Dollar Man, Randy Savage and Nikita Koloff. It's three bad guys facing off with The Immortal Hulk Hogan! The Million Dollar Man moves in first, attacking Hogan! Hogan blocks a punch and begins throwing three punches of his own to DiBiase. DiBiase staggers backward from the punches and Nikita Koloff takes advantage. Nikita Koloff catches The Million Dollar Man with a Russian Sickle that sends DiBiase over the top rope crashing to the floor! The Million Dollar Man is eliminated! Nikita Koloff turns around right into a clothesline from Hulk Hogan! Hogan sends Koloff over the top rope crashing to the floor! Nikita Koloff has been eliminated! Hogan has eliminated both of the Russians. Then there were two.] [Only two wrestlers remain in this year's Royal Rumble. Those last two are two favorites in Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan. Two of the top wrestlers in the WWF, two men who would make great matches for The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania face off with each other in the center of the ring. The two men begin talking with each other before Savage puts his finger in the face of Hogan. Savage has been in the ring for quite a long time, since number eight. Hogan was number 25. Hogan knocks Savage's finger away from his face and Savage shoves Hogan. Hogan shoves Savage and Savage falls to the mat, looking up at Hogan. The Immortal One cups his ear, drawing cheers from the crowd. Savage crawls backward in the corner, looking up at Hogan. Hogan walks over and suddenly he is struck with a sceptor by Savage! Where did the sceptor come from? The announcers seem to have no idea where the foreign object came from but Savage strikes Hogan with the sceptor again and again and again. He knocks Hogan backward with the object. The Macho King shoves Hogan into a corner and begins choking Hogan with the sceptor! The crowd begins cheering and clapping and chanting for Hogan. Savage pulls Hogan from the corner and brings him over with a vertical suplex. He yanks Hogan up and shoves him toward the ropes. He rushes toward Hogan and catches him with a running high knee to the back, sending Hogan over the top rope! OOC UPDATE: Hey everyone. I just wanted to give an update here. I haven't had much time to really work on the Royal Rumble part of the show yet. I went to the doctor on Saturday and was given more powerful pain medicine to deal with my recurring kidney stones. For anyone who deals with these, Dilaudid(hydropmorphone) works wonders. Though it's not something you should take very often. But I am hoping to get some time to work on it soon. This diary is so very far from being over, though. I can place an actual guarantee on that. So long as the new game doesn't come out tomorrow. LOL.

Roberts shoves Martel back in the corner and climbs up, throwing punches on Martel! Roberts quickly drops back down and pulls Martel into a short-arm clothesline. He yanks Martel back up and signals for the DDT! He hooks Martel but The Model slips free, dropping to the ground and crab-walking back to a corner. Roberts follows him in and Martel pokes him in the eye! Martel turns Roberts back into the corner and catches him with several shoulders into the gut before pulling him out and bringing him to the mat with a vertical suplex. Martel floats over and scores a two count. The match moves forward with The Model in control of Roberts, focusing on the back of The Snake, including striking him on the back with the Atomizer. Gorilla Monsoon reminds everyone that there is no disqualification in a cage match. Hart isolates Kato in the ring and catches him with a backbreaker. He climbs in a neutral corner to the second turnbuckle. He looks down at Kato and then drops a pointed elbowdrop onto the masked man! He hits a Russian Legsweep and makes a cover but Tanaka breaks up the pinfall. Bossman has the crowd behind him as he places Perfect over the second rope. Bossman bounces off the ropes and then slides underneath the bottom rope, turning and jacking the jaw of Perfect with an uppercut! Bobby Heenan steps in, yelling at Bossman! With the Bossman distracted, Mr. Perfect recovers in the ring and hits Bossman with a baseball slide kick! Perfect rams Bossman into the guardrail and then brings the action back inside the ring where he begins focusing on the back of the Bossman. Dustin catches DiBiase with his own version of the Bionic Elbow in the corner, sending DiBiase staggering out of the corner and flopping on the mat. Dustin tags in his father and Dusty comes in, picking up DiBiase and body slamming him on the mat. Dusty gets wild in the ring, attacking DiBiase with a few chops and punches while standing and dropping an elbow on him on the mat. He only scores a two count when it's broken up by The Undertaker. Dusty pulls DiBiase back up and begins punching him with three straight right hands before doing a little dance and another Bionic Elbow. Dusty plays to the crowd as DiBiase yells for Virgil to get on the apron. Virgil refuses but DiBiase manages to get enough momentum to tag in The Undertaker. The Undertaker steps in and catches Dusty with a stiff clothesline before twisting his arm. He climbs the turnbuckles and does his rope walk before hitting Dusty with a forearm shot off the top rope. The Undertaker stares at the younger Rhodes family member before turning back to the elder one. He literally tosses Dusty back into his own corner and Dustin tags himself in. He goes racing toward The Undertaker but the deadman doesn't sell any of the punches. Instead, The Undertaker catches Dustin with a throat chop and then sends Dustin to the ropes. He picks up Slaughter and Irish whips him into the corner. The momentum shifts when Warrior goes for a corner clothesline only for Slaughter to move. Warrior crashes over the turnbuckles, striking his head on the ring post! Warrior falls back in the ring and Slaughter picks him up, dropping him with a body slam before driving his knuckles into the top of Warrior's head. Competing 'USA' and 'Warrior' chants rise from the crowd as they try to get The Ultimate Warrior back into the game. The crowd claps and begins chants of Warrior louder and louder as The Ultimate Warrior begins to get some of that energy. Sgt. Slaughter looks shocked as The Ultimate Warrior begins lifting up to his feet with Slaughter on his back. Warrior drops backward, sandwiching Slaughter on the mat, breaking the hold. Both men lie there on the mat, obviously having a lot taken out of them in this moment. The referee begins the ten count and The Ultimate Warrior manages to grab the bottom rope and begin shaking it. He moves up to the middle rope and then the top rope. Warrior is coming back alive! Sgt. Slaughter, on the other side, manages to pull himself back up. He moves over to Warrior and attacks him from behind but, just like the start of this match, Warrior doesn't sell the forearm smashes. Instead, Warrior turns and begins attacking the Sarge! Warrior begins a criss cross move with Slaughter before taking him out with the leaping shoulderblock! How much did it factor in? Only one way to find out and that's to tune in to the Royal Rumble itself. I can say that, in real life, I was a Hulk Hogan fan during this era and that he still gets a nostalgia pop from me.

Our main event for this show is the Royal Rumble match and we learned at the beginning of this month that the winner of the Royal Rumble will compete for the WWF Heavyweight title at WrestleMania VII! Aside from some unnamed wrestlers competing, such wrestlers as Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and The Russians will be participating in this match! All three prior winners will be included in this match, including Hogan, Big John Studd and Jim Duggan. -Speaking of WrestleMania VII, only one man can be the WWF Heavyweight Champion heading into this big show. The question becomes whether this will be the current champion, The Ultimate Warrior or his challenger, Sgt. Slaughter. Last Monday night, these two men battled in the ring and Randy Savage had a hand in Slaughter getting the advantage. The turncoat Sgt. Slaughter definitely doesn't have any fans in America and especially in a building where America's pastime takes place. Slaughter has promised to take the title and bring it back to the Middle East but The Ultimate Warrior has other ideas. I definitely agree with you about Nikita Koloff. He could have been an absolute beast but was misused in the NWA. Now that he's here with us in the WWF, we'll have to make sure we don't misuse him in the same manner, right? Maybe he could be a future WWF Heavyweight Champion.

It would just make my life easier to shorten up the write-ups for Prime Time. It would also make things go a little faster. I write my own angles with a few exceptions so those would make it in, obviously, as they do for Superstars. I might do a little longer writings for anything huge that happens on the show. But I wanted to toss out this question to my readers and see what y'all think.

Finally, WWF's version of 'Pomp and Circumstances' begins to play.] [Sensational Queen Sherri leads Randy Savage out from the back to boos from the crowd. They walk slowly toward the ring before stepping inside with Savage going right to Warrior and looking him face-to-face. Savage shoves Warrior backward and then raises a microphone saying that he has come out here to prove that he is the better man than the paper champion. Where The Ultimate Warrior refuses to give him a title match, Savage will still come and meet Warrior in the ring. Warrior says that Savage does not have the honor to carry the WWF Heavyweight title. He says that Savage is not a warrior like he is and he would destroy Savage in the ring thanks to the power of all of his Warriors! Warrior snarls as Sherri tries to sneak up behind him with the sceptor. Sherri raises the sceptor but Warrior turns at the last moment and grabs her forearm, forcing her to release the sceptor! They focus the attack on the right arm of Hawk, grabbing the trunk lid and closing it hard on the arm of the Legion Of Doom member! Hawk cries out in pain as Fuji strikes him on the arm with his cane before the video fades to black. We are taken back to Gene Okerlund where he says that he showed this footage to our WWF President and now they will hear from Jack Tunney, himself. Jack Tunney is shown in his office and he says that, after viewing the video, he found Hawk at a local hospital and learned that he suffered a broken arm as a result of this attack. Therefore, he will be out of action indefinitely and will not be able to participate in the Royal Rumble. Because of this, he has made the decision that neither member of Demolition, Smash nor Crush, will be able to participate in the Royal Rumble either. Both men will be fined and they are both suspended until the end of the month. He says that the World Wrestling Federation will not tolerate this type of attack outside the ring. He grabs Bulldog and throws him over the top rope but Bulldog lands on the apron. The Warlord celebrates early before turning around and seeing Bulldog on the apron. He stomps over and Bulldog catches him with a shoulder to the gut through the ropes before hitting a sunset flip but there are no pinfalls in this match! After some more back and forth between the two, Bulldog manages to secure the advantage. He shows his strength when he lifts The Warlord into the vertical suplex position, holding him up in a delayed vertical suplex! As Bulldog holds The Warlord up, Slick climbs up on the apron. Bulldog drops Warlord with the suplex and then stands up, walking over to Slick. He grabs Slick by the collar, preparing to hit him. Warlord manages to pull himself up behind Bulldog and charges toward the Bulldog but Bulldog moves! Warlord knocks Slick off the apron and then turns around right into a clothesline from the Bulldog! Bret Hart steps in, saying that The Orient Express made a major mistake in taking on The Hart Foundation because they have never faced a tag team that has the excellence of execution that this tag team has. Hart says that when they step in the ring, The Orient Express is going to find out why they are the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. He says that wasting his time on this match would be a risk to his good looks. Instead, he is going to drink here and get ready for his match with Jake Roberts at the Royal Rumble. The Titan-tron goes to black leaving a disappointed Sam Houston and Jake Roberts in the ring. Roberts takes a microphone and begins talking about the cowardice of Rick Martel. He says that he had a feeling that Martel would try to take an easy way out so he spoke to Jack Tunney earlier tonight. He says that due to Martel not showing up in the building he was able to select a stipulation for their match at the Royal Rumble. Roberts says that their match will now be a steel cage match at the Royal Rumble. Roberts laughs and wishes good luck to Martel when he gets thrown in the snake pit with the Snake. Bobby Heenan tosses the nightstick in the ring to Perfect. Perfect grabs the nightstick and strikes Bossman in the head! Bobby Heenan gets on the microphone, beginning to insult the Bossman's mother. Into the second joke, the lights in the arena flicker and then turn off. Heenan asks if they forgot to pay the power bill for the building. There is a little bit of fear in his voice because of the darkness. I can get behind both a Warlord and Bulldog push in the future as I liked both superstars. But everyone definitely has an interesting look toward the future as a result of this match.

Comments: The Express are looking to step up to the Hart Foundation, they need to be defeating the Bushwhackers.....for what it's worth I can't stand the Bushwhackers. Anytime I play this time period I generally turn them heel after a series of losses causes them to go back to their hardcore Sheepherder roots

Comments: I never liked Greg as a singles wrestler, he was too bland for me....give me Terry Taylor and The Hammer, The Dream Team, or even Rhythem and Blues over solo Greg.....and he's definitely not beating Perfect for the belt

Hey to4sty! Thanks for the predictions and comments. If it makes you feel any better, I don't really like what Vince did to the Bushwhackers either. It's a shame, though, that both of them are in declining physical ability when the game starts. It just might mean the difference between a small tag team division push and a tag team JTTS.

I can understand not liking The Hammer. He's technically sound but he's kind of like Apollo Crews in real life. Crews is a great wrestler but has zero charisma, IMO. Oh and you forgot to mention Greg Valentine and Ric Flair.

Earthquake and Dino Bravo vs. Shane Douglas and Al Burke
Comments: This is a team I truly think can beat The Hart Foundation more than any other team in WWF at this time. Their sheer size alone out does Neidhart, and Bret's technical prowness can't overpower The Earthquake.

But that was probably because of the turn of Tugboat into Typhoon and the start of The Natural Disasters. But I can definitely see this team as contenders in the future. Will they be? Thanks for the predictions and comments. I really liked Shane Douglas as well. I liked him in his NWA/WCW days and in his days as The Franchise. But right now he's not much more than a jobber. That, however, can change as we move forward. I'm glad you like the start of the diary so far. I can tell you that you cannot expect a brand split as of right now. Despite my large roster, I just don't see the brand split as being realistic. Luckily, everyone can play the game in their own way and their own style. He steps back and then rushes, ramming a hard knee into the ribs of Michaels before pulling him down. The crowd begins clapping to try and bring Michaels back into the match as Roma heads to the top turnbuckle. Roma goes for his Glory Splash off the top turnbuckle but Michaels gets a boot up and Roma crashes head-first into the boot. Michaels gets a second wind, nipping up and catching Roma with a clothesline. Michaels climbs backward to the second turnbuckle and leaps, catching Roma with an Asai Moonsault in the ring. Heenan says that one of these men surrounding him is going to be headed to WrestleMania to take the WWF Heavyweight title. After all, they have the smartest man in professional wrestling in their corner. Haku and The Barbarian look menacing in the background as Mr. Perfect says that he will not be looking to trade in the Intercontinental title for the Heavyweight title but he will be the one man who is able to defend them both. Why is that? Because he is the only man in the WWF who is absolutely perfect. We go back to Sean Mooney, who continues his list of wrestlers in the Royal Rumble, including men like Tugboat, Big Bossman and Saba Simba. Each of those three wrestlers cut a short promo talking about why they will be the winners of the Royal Rumble. Bossman, also, hypes that he will be taking on Mr. Perfect for the Intercontinental title on the same night. Saba Simba claims to be making the win for Africa and those tribal nations. Piper says that he's happy to have these two men here with him but he is a little bit worried about their chances now that The Undertaker will be teaming with The Million Dollar Man. Piper asks Dusty about that change and Dusty reminds everyone that he was in the match when The Undertaker made his debut. But things are going to be different this time around because the American Dream is going to come out on top. He says that it doesn't matter whether it's DiBiase or The Undertaker that feels the Bionic Elbow, daddy. Piper then turns his attention to Dustin, talking about the youth of Dustin Rhodes and whether he is ready for this match. Dustin says that he grew up all around this business, learning from his father. He says that those two will have the opportunity to get ready of him and The Undertaker in one night. He proposes that they make their match a loser leaves WWF match. Dusty looks concerned about that but Dustin immediately accepts! Dustin says that he will be the one to send The Million Dollar Man away from Virgil. Santana wrenches on the arm for about twenty seconds before DiBiase fights his way up to his feet. DiBiase grabs Santana by the hair and drags him back into a corner. The referee looks for a clean break but DiBiase pokes Santana in the eye! DiBiase gets into control and begins focusing in on the back of Santana. He catches Santana with a body slam and then a fist drop that scores a two count. DiBiase picks up Santana and goes for The Million Dollar Dream but Santana pulls them both to the ropes, using the ropes to break the hold. DiBiase kicks Santana in the gut and brings him over with a gutwrench suplex in the center of the ring. He picks up Santana and tosses him out of the ring by Virgil's feet. DiBiase gets the attention of the official and Virgil looks down at Santana. Santana begins pulling himself up using the body of Virgil. Virgil grabs Santana and just rolls him back in the ring. DiBiase walks over and then exits the ring, arguing with Virgil. He shoves Virgil and Virgil's right hand curls into a fist but he backs down as Santana catches DiBiase with a baseball slide kick! Santana throws DiBiase back in the ring and joins him inside. Santana sends DiBiase to a corner and rushes in with an avalanche in the corner! DiBiase staggers out and Santana rolls him up:] [....1.... ....2.... ...Kickout!] [Tito Santana was within half a count away of picking up a huge victory over The Million Dollar Man! Santana locks DiBiase in a headlock and brings him to the mat with a headlock takeover. DiBiase works his way to his feet and sends Santana to the ropes -- reversed! DiBiase bounces off the ropes and Santana goes for a dropkick but DiBiase holds on to the top rope to stop his momentum. Santana crashes to the mat with that missed dropkick. DiBiase brings the action back outside the ring where he rams Santana head-first on the ring apron. DiBiase grabs Santana around the waist, pulls back in a bear hug position before ramming him back-first into the ring apron. DiBiase stops the count and then grabs Santana, Irish whipping him into the steel barricade. DiBiase tosses Santana back in the ring and joins him inside, moving to the second turnbuckle. He leaps and catches Santana with a pointed elbow to the skull. DiBiase celebrates by posing on the second turnbuckle, facing the crowd. He takes in the boos from this audience here in the Kiel Auditorium. DiBiase turns back around and picks up Santana but Santana fires back with a few punches, first to the gut and then to the head. DiBiase falls to his knees, begging off from Santana but Santana doesn't back down. Instead, he fires a few more punches before sending DiBiase to the ropes. Santana lowers his head slightly too early and DiBiase catches him with a running knee lift before hooking on The Million Dollar Dream! DiBiase has the Million Dollar Dream hold on from out of nowhere. But they are in the center of the ring. After the whisper, Virgil looks dejected and beaten. He takes the bill and turns back to Tito Santana, stuffing the bill in Santana's mouth as DiBiase raises his arms up in victory. You were definitely right about the whole Bulldog/Warlord feud. It is an easy way to start things off. But I don't expect it to run for the entire year, though. The Hogan/Earthquake match is definitely a huge TV match. I hope that my write-up for it conveyed what a big match it was. Does Hogan have a date with Sgt. Slaughter in the future? We will just have to wait and see. Glad to see that there is interest in the WWF version of 1991. It is definitely a switch from my NWA past. But I love the focus on the characters. Will we see the same matches coming up at WrestleMania?
