This is from the official FAQ down in the Technical Support Forum: "I am getting 'RTE 3021 No current record' when trying to view someone's profile or when trying to advance past the first day..." If the wrestler in question has an accented character in their name (i.e. a Spanish character, usually for luchadors), please try other characters who do and do not also have accented characters. If you find that the error only happens for those that do have them, you currently do not have the capacity to handle accented characters (probably due to a missing language pack). The easiest way to solve this is to change the language for non-unicode programs to English within Windows. The way to do this differs slightly depending on what version of Windows you are running, but it is usually found in Control Panel -> Region and Languages and then either under Administrative or Advanced. If this does not work, you can also try changing your language to English. If that all fails, please try installing a Spanish language pack.

Then do a search with their username in the diary forums and you can see past diaries made by them and read them as well. An example would be that I really enjoy Eisen-verse and his writing style. So I would go to the Advanced Search function and type in his username and highlight the diary forums and threads created by user. Then I would search and find previous diaries written by that user.

So, I have been looking back on my USPW diary from the past as I prepare to make my return. I have to say that I do not know how Nevermore and J Silver did it. I don't know how they left for months on end and came back ready to post the next show. All respect to them and to others who make the long-term planning necessary to do such. As I look back, I can only see the mistakes that I made in the past. I made some shady moves that I cannot be proud of.

All of this is to say that when I make my return, I will be starting completely fresh. I will be using new ideas and things that you may never expect from me (Such as sticking to a diary). I make this decision to put out the best possible product for you, the readers. The readers, the fans are truly the ones for whom we write. If I simply wanted to create a world for myself, I could do so and simply view it myself. But I come here to get feedback and support and to share my journey with all of you.

In closing, I hope that this decision doesn't cost me the readers who I have come to count on more than you know. You are my inspiration. I cannot say thank you enough. I hope that each of you will give my new diary a chance when it appears soon and as always #keeppounding.

I figure that this is the best place to make this announcement. For those who have been following my diaries, you will know that I have been having computer issues and that caused me to disappear for awhile. For a long time, I have made TEW and these GDS diary boards my obsession. It got to the point where I wasn't sure if I could be without it. Then, the computer issues happened and I was forced to step back. I was forced to reevaluate my life and this board's place in my life. I learned to live without it and focus on other things. I feel like I am a better man because that happened. I have learned to make this no longer such an obsession for me. So, with all of that being said, I must make the announcement that...

I'm coming back!

My new laptop arrives at the end of the week. Thank you to all my readers who have been patient with me. Things will not be exactly the same. This will no longer be an obsession. This will be a hobby as I continue to look for work and when I am employed at whatever new job I receive. I have thoughts right now on what I will be focusing on with my return. This includes my most recent USPW diary. I, also, have plans in mind for a possible WWF 1992 diary. But the sky's the limit. Again, thank you for your patience. I hope y'all enjoy the work thst is to come.

DDP fights off 'old age' to Diamond Cut Kanyon off the second story. A secondary story is that DDP's knees get injured with a bad landing from the Diamond Cutter.

This reminds me of the Austin Aries/No Way Jose feud in NXT. Storm shows he has what it takes.

It's the beginning of an open challenge. CM Punk should be victorious.

United States Heavyweight Championship Tournament Finals: Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Lance Storm

This is a true pick-em match as both of these men have put on great matches so far. My selection of Lance Storm is based on wanting to see him change the U.S. title to the Canadian title.

World Tag Team Championship: Totally Buffed vs. Natural Born Thrillers {©}

I think Bret Hart will look more fondly on the Natural Born Thrillers than on Totally Buffed.

Cruiserweight Championship: Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Shane Helms {©}

Both men could be good champions. Chavo Jr. having the belt might eventually draw Eddie Guerrero back into the fold.

Hello Everyone.

I have a great idea for a game that i may or may not turn into a diary. This will be the first time i do something like this. I have the game and future plans already laid out.
If possible i like some general tips for starting it up and making/posting the updates and some creative writng since writing match-ups/angles isn't going to be a real strong point for me.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

My first tip that I would let you know is that diary writing is fun but it can also be a big timesink. You have to find your own balance between keeping it fun and entertaining for yourself and burning yourself out as happens with a lot of writers, myself included.

A part B to that is that you're not going to please everyone. There are people that enjoy different styles of writing, some like more in-depth writing, while others appreciate a more abbreviated style. You have to find the one that you enjoy. If writing match-ups and angles isn't a lot of fun to you and you enjoy writing more backstage things then that's what I would focus my diary on.

A couple of threads that I would definitely recommend reading if you have the time are: The Hall Of Records. Here you can see some of what people thought were the best diaries, the best angles and such.

The second thread I would recommend would be: Diary Writing Tips. A lot of good information there.

Good luck on your decision. This community can be a great one from which to get ideas.

Hey wrestling fans,

I hope that your day is going well. I am enjoying listening to my Carolina Panthers preseason week 2 NFL game. But that is neither here nor there as to the point of this post.

Reading Eisen-verse's excellent SWF diary and speaking with him on things to do with the Cornellverse, have gotten me thinking about the Cornellverse again. As most who read my diaries would know, I started a diary a couple months back that is right <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=534305" rel="external nofollow">here.</a> I am debating on whether or not I want to bring that diary out of retirement or whether I want to begin anew with my favorite promotion in the Cornellverse, USPW.

I can definitely say that if I return to that diary, there will be a very abbreviated version of the rest of Freedom Fight in order to move forward. I just am not sure if I want to go there or not. The longer I am writing this, the more I am thinking of starting completely from scratch so that I have a clean slate to work with, rather than the storylines and signings that I've already made. But I wanted to put this out there to get thoughts from the readers because you are all important to me and it is important to me that my readers are right there with me and understand why my decisions are made.

The reasoning is simple. Nikita Koloff is someone that I believe deserves a run with the belt that never had one. As for the date? Well, it's the furthest date out that was given. Go Team Flair! LOL.

Bobby Eaton vs. Ric Flair – non-title

While I might be one of the biggest Ric Flair fans in fandom, a win for Beautiful Bobby would catapult him into the World title picture. He is one of the most underused and underrated wrestlers in the business.

Sting and Lex Luger vs. The Hardliners

One of the specific matches that I think I might actually be picking the right winner. LOL.

Junkyard Dog vs. Black Blood

Sorry, JYD, but I love the Black Blood character.

Robert Gibson and Dustin Rhodes vs. Thomas Rich and Terrence Taylor

It's the York Foundation! Need I say more?

I never really got behind the WCW Patriots. But I do wonder just what will happen with them.

I'm curious what the expected/common Diary update regularity is.

I'd like to restart a diary idea I tried before on a different site, but last time I tried to do 1 entry a day and crashed when I couldn't keep up the pace. Is posting one show a week frequent enough to keep people satisfied?

I usually try to go three or four days on a normal show and longer on a pay-per-view/big event. As long as the readers are interested in your story, they will be there. Good luck!

That would be put on the nomination list so that none of the current members get renominated. The DOTM thing has been changed since I ran it. Anderz runs the DOTM thing now so I cannot say whether or not that is continuing with the new TEW 2016.

Thanks for the support, guys. I really do appreciate it. I think I have what will be a unique vision for TNA coming soon with this diary. I have run it by my roommate, who is a constant source for ideas and he seems to think this one will have legs. My only concern is that there are not a lot of heels in TNA. So I may have to either bring in some top name heels or turn some guys early on in the diary.

Dave_Scott, I'll try to take it easy on you. But we are all a community and we are all here to have fun. That's the bottom line here.

She said that the new owner would be revealed on the very first TNA Impact Wrestling of December, a live television show.

This is huge as TNA is in the middle of what they are calling the 'World Title Series.' Grey Dog Software is the place to be. The length of my old diaries are the ones to beat(in my own mind). I just wanted to say that I believe I will be back at full strength here very soon and be returning to the diary writing forums. I haven't decided which mod I am going to be using or which promotion. I have a few of them in mind. I haven't gotten a new computer but my woman is letting me download and install TEW 2013 on her computer. That means that, hopefully, I will be back sooner than later. Thank you to everyone who posted in my previous threads, specifically about them coming to an untimely end due to my old computer dying out. I did manage to get the save games e-mailed to myself. So there is a slim possibility of them being revived as well. Again, thank you to those who have been reading and I am hoping to be back soon.
