  1. After watching the video, I really struggle to understand what benefits AEW expected from putting it in the public domain. Punk proven to be right about it, Jack Perry looked like a b**, what were they expecting outside of mockery?
  2. Feel sorry for you guys lol I let you down with that 59! So close! Was expecting something better from the opening two-on-two tbf Thx man! I hoped you might like them Tried to keep it as minimal as possible so as not to weigh down the reading.
  3. LSW Summer Stampede 2022 Sunday, Week 1, July 2022 Held in Dallas, TX (Mid South) in front of 3,058 people 74,854 viewers on WrestleWorld To open the show, the Texas Heavyweight champ Kip Keenan calls out James Prudence, once again saying it's sorry for how their last match went as Keenan won the bout by pinfall despite Prudence's hand being on the lower rope. The two babyfaces clear up by showing sportsmanship, although James Prudence still seems a bit scarred from not winning the main championship. In a very good segment, "Platinum" mentions that the best way to clear the air is running it back! Another one-on-one against Kip Keenan for the Texas Heavyweight title strap, and "The American Eagle" replies that it would be a pleasure! [67] Suddenly, however. The Big Guns Reloaded show up to interrupt the two babyfaces, as Outlaw Wes Revell and Bandit Waylon Walls are out here to put The Most Wanted faction back in the center of Lone Star Wrestling. After a few increasingly tense exchanges, Mya Catalan is sent out here on behalf of boss Ricky Dale Johnson, announcing a tag team match right here, right now. It looks like Kip Keenan and James Prudence will team up to start the show! [45] James Prudence, Kip Keenan vs The Big Guns Reloaded (Walls, Revell) The two members of The Most Wanted faction take some heat by putting in difficulty both beloved babyfaces to start the bout. However, The Big Guns jam after nine minutes, as James Prudence submits Bandit Waylon Walls with a Prudential Pain Plan to win the bout. In terms of in-ring work, the champ Kip Keenan shows that he's head and shoulders above everyone else. The only negative note, Keenan and Prudence don't work well as a team, and their timing is all over the place. [54] With spirits already inflamed ahead of tonight's three-on-three main event, babyface Texas Hangman and heel Cobra start brawling when they cross paths backstage. "The Preacher" Travis Century adds excitement to the confrontation, inciting his adept and cursing "The Hangman" while the former tag champs continue to pound each other. After about thirty seconds, multiple staff members and security personnel manage to separate the two, who mutually promise each other more beatings in tonight's main event. [45] Prime Time Jack Pryde vs Tavon Blake Jr A midcard singles bout is next as Prime Time Jack Pryde, accompanied by his valet Venus Angeletti, takes on "The Grappler" Tavon Blake Jr. The shortest match of the night, after almost seven minutes "Prime Time" pokes the eye of his babyface opponent, before hitting him with a PrydeFall and pinning him to secure the victory. Another W for Jack Pryde who in this 2022 has certainly made some progress in the LSW rankings. Venus Angeletti does some good work at ringside. [43] The Empire (Del Veccio, Milano) vs The Wild Cats (El Jaguar, Tigre Salvaje Jr) The debuting New Yorkers, Antonio Del Veccio and Brutus Milano, collide with The Wild Cats in tag team action. Antonio Del Veccio's thug gimmick seems great, while Brutus Milano's powerful bully gimmick seems ok still. After nine minutes, the babyface luchadores are overwhelmed by the two debuting heels, and Brutus Milano submits El Jaguar with an Italian Backbreaker. The Empire find success in their first bout here in the Mid South, it will be interesting to see their path in a stacked tag team division. Performance-wise, Antonio Del Veccio is a bit rusty, but that should go away once he's got a few more matches under his belt. [53] We cut backstage where Texas Heavyweight champ Kip Keenan enters Ricky Dale Johnson's office, as the boss summoned "The American Eagle" to tell him that next month the promotion will hold LSW Gold Rush 2022! And yes, Kip Keenan guessed it, in the main event of the show he'll defend his Texas Heavyweight title against five fearsome contenders, in a Gold Rush match! Obviously a tough pill to swallow, but the champ proves himself the ultimate babyface, not complaining to his boss and promising to honor that championship and his reign. In dismissing him, the mean boss leaves a little spoiler for Kip Keenan; James Prudence will be one of the five opponents within the Gold Rush match! [65] David Stone vs Maverick Chip Martin After the loss by Outlaw Wes Revell and Bandit Waylon Walls in the opener, Maverick Chip Martin tries to take home a victory for The Most Wanted faction in this one versus one against babyface David Stone. In a poor match, in which "The Maverick" seems off his game, David Stone eventually comes out on top by hitting a Stone Cutter to pin his opponent in eight minutes. Another singles win for the Canadian next gen star. [44] Busy stretching backstage, babyface Rob Reynolds is caught off guard by the arrival of Al Coleman, and immediately goes on the defensive. "Mr. Submission" however says he is not here to brawl, there will be time in the main event to kick Reynolds' butt. The focus of the conversation between the two rivals returns to once again the fact that Al Coleman never submitted Rob Reynolds, and that Rob Reynolds attempted to submit Al Coleman lately. The two rivals exchange a few more challenging words in this segment, adding further tension in their relationship. [43] The Heartbreak Express (Needham, Liotta) vs The Hot Taggs (Kalder, Wolfie) In a non-title match, the LSW Tag Team champions Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta, accompanied by Sweet Tabitha, take on the heel twins from Montana, Kalder and Wolfie Tagg, in a poor bout. After managing to counter their opponents' physicality, The Heartbreak Express defeat The Hot Taggs in seven minutes, when Johnny Needham delivers a picture-perfect Moonsault on Wolfie Tagg to pin him. [42] As the announcing team wonders who will be the future contenders at the LSW Tag Team championships, we move backstage where Cam Jones and Syd Collier, tag team partners forming The Dynamite Express, are having a discussion with babyfaces The American Cobras about who is most deserving of getting a title shot. Also joining the debate is The Gonzalez Family, with whom Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane had a rivalry recently. All three teams try to force their words on each other, only being placated by the arrival on the scene of boss Ricky Dale Johnson, faithfully accompanied by his assistant Mya Catalan. RDJ announces that, to determine the No. One Contenders to the tag team title straps held by The Heartbreak Express, next month at LSW Gold Rush 2022 will be held an 8-Tag Battle Royal match! [44] Quentin Queen vs Jason Patterson With his fellow Oklahoma countryman and tag partner Jules Night on his corner, babyface Jason Patterson goes one versus one against Quentin Queen, a whole different animal from what we have become accustomed to in his first two years of LSW. In a bout that doesn't have much heat, the vicious blackheart Quentin Queen defeats Jason Patterson with ease in six minutes, unleashing his aggression and pinning his opponent after a Q-Ball. Pretty bad chemistry between these two when fighting each other. [34] His title defense is up next, and Davis Wayne Newton tries to get a head start by crossing Dreadnought and his agent Laura Catherine Huggins backstage. The Brass Knuckles champ, who will soon be going one-on-one against Southern Stinger, tries to convince them to interfere in his No DQ bout and help him, not so much because he cannot defeat "The Stinger" alone, but rather because he is aware of the terrible urge Dreadnought has to annihilate that facepainted vigilante. Laura Catherine Huggins neither accepts nor refuses the invitation, limiting herself for now to wishing "Triple Threat good luck." [49] Davis Wayne Newton (c) vs Southern Stinger in a No DQ match for the LSW Brass Knuckles title In a decent match, Davis Wayne Newton immediately plays dirty against his opponent, taking advantage of the brass knuckles rules typical of title defences in this championship. After taking control of the match, Southern Stinger punishes with multiple chair shots the back of the champs, but before closing the match here comes Dreadnought! The heel behemoth has decided to accept DWN's invitation and he's out here punishing his rival Southern Stinger. Luckily for the facepainted vigilante, Xavi Ferrera once again comes out to even the odds, helping Southern Stinger knock out Dreadnought in similar fashion to what happened last month in their tag team match. We reach twelve minutes on the clock, and Xavi Ferrera gets demolished by a CHAIR SHOT! Davis Wayne Newton hits him on the head, attempts to do the same on his challenger Southern Stinger but he reverses it into his submission move: STINGER FALL! "Triple Threat" despairs, screams in pain, and eventually has no other chance than to tap out! Southern Stinger is the new LSW Brass Knuckles champion! [53] The crew takes us backstage, as the cameraman saw Kip Keenan and James Prudence talking and requested the line. The two babyfaces notice the cameraman's arrival, but go on talking as if nothing happened. James Prudence is not thrilled at the idea of the Gold Rush match, he would have preferred a new title shot in singles action but, hey, better this than nothing. With a hint of snark, "Platinum" politely asks Kip Keenan not to be pinned or submitted by anyone but him. The LSW Texas Heavyweight champ drops the taunt elegantly, promising to give 100 percent as always to triumph even against all odds in a lethal six way match. Both workers clearly enjoy having the freedom to go off-script and perform well. [70] Al Coleman, Cali Slick, Cobra vs Jared Johnson, Rob Reynolds, Texas Hangman And in the main event of the night, three babyfaces go up against three heels as their rivalries intertwine in this trios bout. In a match that has good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd here in Dallas, the canvas is a little different than usual as the babyfaces have more physicality than the heels, who rely more on dirty tactics and quick tags. Cali Slick is really off his game, while is rival Jared Johnson has the best in-ring performance among them all. After eighteen minutes and multiple near falls, Texas Hangman puts his strong hand - pun very intended - around the neck of his former partner Cobra, who was trying to illegally attack him with his steel chain, managing to hit him with a Choke Slam! While going for the pinfall, Jared Johnson and Rob Reynolds guard him, and Cali Slick and Al Coleman fail to break the pin. The babyfaces take home the victory in the main event, and what a huge pinfall for "The Hangman" over Cobra. "The Preacher" Travis Century despairs at ringside, as his former rebel executioner has just defeated his adept. 4. Just to be clear, in your opinion, losing to The Rock + Roman Reigns in tag team action after they cheat their way during the match is jobbing? Also, isn't it one of the most traditional things about pro wrestling to see a few babyfaces coming out to evening the odds against the outnumbered heel and his crew? Does it diminish Rhodes' win? You see Cody receiving an ex-AEW talent "special" treatment? I don't see it but maybe you can convince me otherwise! I see a former WWE guy coming back brighter and better, re-debuting at Mania by beating Rollins, going 3-0 against one of the biggest stars of the company in the last decade, winning back-to-back Rumble, headlining two WrestleManias, not pinned/submitted clean once if I'm not wrong about it, dethroning the megastar of this generation. The way you talk about it, it sounds like WWE put him through hell lol EDIT: by the way we'll probably agree on the fact that 100 other things don't make sense still lol by that's really a modern wrestling problem imo, not just WWE
  5. Good luck with OLLIE! I think it's actually in a very good spot in the Default DB if you can strike a tv deal. I'll be follow this NGL the multi-colored write was killing my eyes tho lol OLLIE RELÁMPAGO - JAN. WK1 Nicolas Lopez vs. Silver Tiger Marcos Flores vs. Phobia ??? vs. Queen Amazon The Freedom Family (with Agueda Alonso) vs. The American Cobras (with Emilia Reyes) North Star Jr vs. Extraordinario Jr (with Space Invaders) Dos Phoenix Nuevo (Phoenix II & Phoenix IV) & Fuego Fantastico vs. El Critico & Dragón Americano & Super Diestro Laberinto Jr & Blue Phantom & Astro vs. Amo Del Gato & Coulrophobia (Hellech & Pierrot) Optional: Choose a name for the new luchadora: Rosa Perez
  6. Atom Smasher vs Robbie Retro Justin Sensitive vs ZWB Oliver Kobb vs Scythe Darryl Devine & Nicky Gilbert vs Dominic DeSousa & Sammy Smoke One Man Army vs Robbie Wright Remo & The Crippler vs Valiant & Rogue (BONUS) Will SWF top the weekly TV ratings this week? YEAH!
  7. I assume we have more bargaining strength than CWW. Weren't you interested in signing him?
  8. Thx guys for your predictions! Show should be up tomorrow with some graphic updates (I hope it's actually an upgrade lol) Hi man! Thx for the kind words really appreciate it! Happy u get your hands on TEW once again, which company are you using?
  9. Loved that "ain't a SWF title, it's a NETSTREAM title" segment. Perfect heel act, and it makes sense too! 83 was huge! Has to be on of your best weekly tv rating right?
  10. Wrestling really is a simple business. You build your biggest babyface and finally you make him win the main championship in the main event of your biggest show, and everybody goes home happy. Genuinely so happy for Cody, for Dusty, for the entire Rhodes family. Wrestling has more than one royal family, but the crown is on the head of a Rhodes now. All hail the king.
  11. Having Matt and Nick on this angle is the perfect opportunity to finally see The Young Bucks in a segment that attracts viewers and doesn't make them change the channel lol EDIT: And how about we roll the tape on Brawl Out too?
  12. Hope Cody is going to win against all odds tonight in a clean way, the ultimate babyface miracle. Otherwise I'm afraid the spotlight will be once again on Rocky instead than on him. Tbf I don't care that much I just wanna see Cody finally win this damn championship and cry like a baby lol
  13. I mean it would make sense! Rocky abuses his power to triumph on Saturday, Cody somehow wins it on Sunday, Rocky keeps getting in Cody's way until they have a title match at SummerSlam, Rocky vs Roman at WM41.
  14. I already wanted to make a pre-Mania consideration of the Usos. I always liked them, they obviously have charisma and lots of Ups. That being said, but how disappointing was their rivalry to get to this match? More than a decade in the making, two inseparable twins who at the end of it all find themselves each other's worst enemy, a whirlwind of emotions to highlight during this feud. How can you F it up that bad? lol I think the main fault is their incredible inability to stay serious during angles, staredowns, etc. While this was also initially funny with Sami Zayn, cause kayfabe-wise it might have made sense with Sami's character, became unprofessional to me after the split. Their laughing and smiling during their face-to-face ruined any credibility imo. I mean your twin freakin' turned heel on you, cost you the WWE title, the Head of the Table spot, the F are you smiling for? Obviously the match was even worse, a sea of possibilities in which to navigate storyline-wise, and all they came up with is a terrible Superkick spot fest. Huge huge fail.
  15. Preview for LSW Summer Stampede 2022 Prime Time Jack Pryde vs Tavon Blake Jr In a midcard singles match, Prime Time Jack Pryde will have the opportunity to bounce back after losing to David Stone recently. The cocky rookie, accompanied by his valet Venus Angeletti, will take on "The Grappler" Tavon Blake Jr, a young fine technician who, despite not reaping much satisfaction so far in the Mid South, remains a viable competitor always dangerous with his holds and mat wrestling. The winner could climb a few ranks in the LSW rankings. The Empire (Del Veccio, Milano) vs The Wild Cats (El Jaguar, Tigre Salvaje Jr) A new tag team is set to make its debut in Lone Star Wrestling: Antonio Del Vecchio and Brutus Milano, both from New York, will clash with masked Mexican luchadores Tigre Salvaje Jr and El Jaguar. The Wild Cats from south of the border will try to spoil The Empire's first match in the Mid South. Who will take home the victory? David Stone vs Maverick Chip Martin Representing The Most Wanted faction, Maverick Chip Martin said he is eager to collide with another young gun in David Stone, the Canadian babyface who is doing very well so far in the Mid South. It should be a very sizzling one-on-one, so far the oddsmakers see David Stone as the favorite, but "The Maverick" is a weasel competitor not to be underestimated. Also, Kip Keenan calls out James Prudence to clear air after shady ending! The Heartbreak Express (Needham, Liotta) vs The Hot Taggs (Kalder, Wolfie) Still looking for their first contenders at their title straps, new LSW Tag Team champs Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta will be in action in a non-title match against The Hot Taggs. Kalder and Wolfie, two siblings from Montana, gave a fair fight to The Heartbreak Express last year at LSW Summer Stampede, but were defeated. Now that Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta are on fire, being able to beat them will be even more complicated, but what a victory that would be for The Hot Taggs, two muscular vicious brawlers who could become instant breakout stars. Quentin Queen vs Jason Patterson Now that he secured a new contract for Lone Star Wrestling, ruthless blackheart Quentin Queen can begin a new chapter of his career with a little more peace of mind, but still with a chip on his shoulder. In fact, his opponent in this singles bout is babyface Jason Patterson who, funny enough, is one half of The Oklahomans, the tag team that months ago won the Go Big or Go Home match against Quentin Queen and his former partner Remmy Honeyman, effectively sanctioning their dismissal from the company. Davis Wayne Newton (c) vs Southern Stinger in a No DQ match for the LSW Brass Knuckles title The Brass Knuckles championship is up for grabs in this one-on-one bout, to be contested under brass knuckles rules! After submitting the champ in tag team action, Ricky Dale Johnson awarded Southern Stingern with a title shot against Davis Wayne Newton. "Triple Threat" did not take this decision by the boss well, took even less well that he succumbed to "The Stinger," and is now intent on overcoming his opponent. One of the fan favorites, no doubt the Mid South crowd will be all in support of Southern Stinger, who has an opportunity to win his first title belt here in LSW. Al Coleman, Cali Slick, Cobra vs Jared Johnson, Rob Reynolds, Texas Hangman A huge three versus three is one of the hottest matches on the card! Rivalries intertwine in this multi-man match that groups three heels against three babyfaces; we will see opposing Al Coleman and Rob Reynolds, former friends and bitter enemies, Cobra and Texas Hangman, as the big heavyweight recently turned babyface after rebelling against "The Preacher" Travis Century, and Cali Slick and Jared Johnson, who have faced each other several times in the past few months with the goal of establishing themselves as "Real Draw" and belittling their respective rival. Which side will show the best team chemistry and win the bout? Key for Predictions: Prime Time Jack Pryde vs Tavon Blake Jr [1 Pts] The Empire vs The Wild Cats [1 Pts] David Stone vs Maverick Chip Martin [1 Pts] The Heartbreak Express (Needham, Liotta) vs The Hot Taggs (Kalder, Wolfie) [1 Pts] Quentin Queen vs Jason Patterson [1 Pts] Davis Wayne Newton (c) vs Southern Stinger in a No DQ match for the LSW Brass Knuckles title [1 Pts] Al Coleman, Cali Slick, Cobra vs Jared Johnson, Rob Reynolds, Texas Hangman [1 Pts] Will LSW Summer Stampede get a 60+ Rating? [1 Pts]
  16. Yeah I kinda give it some boost! The Dynamite Express especially were to good to pass on. Reasonably so! I just have a soft spot for David and Stone/DeColts heritage in general. Right now he's 22, hitting around 50 in matches performances which absolutely not that bad for our level. Psychology, Charisma and Star Quality are there and he's considered Recognisable atm. Also, wouldn't mind using former CWA's stars POP in Canada when I'll eventually reach Medium size, without a major company up North, there's a huge void to fill.
  17. LSW Sundown Showdown 2022 Sunday, Week 2, June 2022 Held in Austin, TX (Mid South) in front of 2,698 people 72,558 viewers on WrestleWorld David Stone vs Prime Time Jack Pryde The opener sees two young guns engaged in singles action. Accompanied by Venus Angeletti, the cocky heel Jack Pryde takes on babyface David Stone in a bout that has decent wrestling and that gets the show off to a strong start. After eight minutes, "Prime Time" gets a little too distracted and, out of nowhere, his bravado is punished by David Stone’s Stone Cutter who takes the victory by pinfall. Venus Angeletti does some good work at ringside. [49] In an in-ring segment, the new LSW Tag Team champs Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta, accompanied by her friend and valet Sweet Tabitha, are welcomed to the applause of the Austin crowd. In a heartfelt speech, The Heartbreak Express recap their two and a half years here in LSW and how they came to win the Mid South Tag Series and the tag championships in the past few months, thanking all the fans for the support. Before concluding, the two bubbly babyfaces mention that given the obvious breakup between the former champs Cobra and Texas Hangman, they doubt they will want to take advantage of their rematch clause. Regardless, The Heartbreak Express will be ready to boldly defend their tag team title straps against any tag team in the world. [36] The American Cobras (Malloy, Spillane) vs The Gonzalez Family (Carlos, Marco) It's payback time as The American Cobras are poisoned and want to strike the arrogant Gonzalez Family, now that Storm Spillane seems to have recovered from his kayfabe-injury. In a decent rather balanced match, after almost thirteen minutes Storm Spillane is able to lock Carlos Gonzalez into his Kneeling Boston Crab, still selling some pain in his predecently injured leg, but holding the submission hold. Carlo's niece, Marco Gonzalez tries to break in but is anticipated by Marvel Malloy who knocks him out, and a desperate Carlos Gonzalez has no other chance but to tap out. Babyfaces Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane score the W, take home their revenge, and put their rivalry against the arrogant Puerto Ricans behind them. [53] After that, "The Preacher" Travis Century reaches the ring accompanied by Cobra, who holds in his hands the chain with which he strangled Texas Hangman last month. Travis Century clearly enjoys having the freedome to go off-script and performs well, laying all the blame on Texas Hangman for losing the LSW Tag Team championships and calling him out to make amends for his sins and be redeemed. "The Hangman" finally comes out and joins the ring, but after a few moments it becomes clear how the big heavyweight is not here to ask Travis Century for forgiveness, but rather to get revenge for what happened last month. Cobra tries to assault Texas Hangman with the chain, but after a failed assault, the silent heel beats a retreat along with "The Preacher." Travis Century promises Texas Hangman that his sins will be punished when The Strong Hand of the Lord will strangle him with his sacred chains, to which "The Hangman" replies that he will break the chain and kick his ass! Texas Hangman finally turns babyface and it's been a complete success. [45] Quentin Queen vs Remmy Honeyman in a Winner Gets Re-Hired match After a pretty long midcard rivalry between two former partners, heel Quentin Queen and babyface Remmy Honeyman clash in a bout very important for their respective careers, as at stake is the chance of being re-hired in LSW. In a fifteen-minute match that has decent wrestling and little heat, Quentin Queen manages to prevail by winning by pinfall, connecting his signature Q-Ball to seal the deal. The announcing quality lifts the bout. [45] After the match, Quentin Queen mocks his former partner Remmy Honeyman who disappears backstage while the heel is joined in the ring by the boss, Ricky Dale Johnson, who makes him sign his new contract for Lone Star Wrestling, shaking his hand and welcoming him back to the roster. Who knows what will be the future of "QQ" in the Mid South, will he take some satisfaction? Or will he be stuck in the midcard even solo? [62] The Dynamite Express (Jones, Collier) vs Jared Johnson, Tavon Blake Jr In their second match in Lone Star Wrestling, The Dynamite Express stops to reckon with the roadblock represented by Jared Johnson and Tavon Blake Jr, a pair of babyface grapplers we have already seen teaming up during the Series. In a bout that has decent wrestling but doesn't have much heat, The Dynamite Express take the victory in ten minutes thanks to Cali Slick's interference to distract Jared Johnson at ringside. With "Double J" out of action, Cam Jones and Syd Collier combine their forces to score the pin over Tavon Blake Jr. [58] While The Dynamite Express returns backstage, and Tavon Blake Jr is down and out at ringside, Jared Johnson stands in the ring and shoots at Cali Slick, standing on the ramp accompanied by his agent Vinny Cruz and Big Smash Clay. "Double J" wonders why Cali Slick is so interested in always wanting to get in his way; maybe because he's realized he's not "The Real Draw"? Maybe because the Californian has not yet been able to defeat him? Or perhaps because even his agent Vinny Cruz does not believe in him and would prefer managing Johnson himself? Whatever the reason, Jared Johnson will be more than happy to beat his ass once again! Cali Slick responds in kind to the babyface gauntlet, enjoying the freedom to go off-script and performing well. [42] Al Coleman vs Rob Reynolds The feud between "Mr. Submission" Al Coleman, still uncapable of submitting his rival despite defeating him recently with a quick pinfall, and "The Motor City Menace" Rob Reynolds, fan favorite of the crowd, continues in this decent bout. After eleven minutes, Rob Reynolds immediately divvies up Al Coleman's Ankle Brace and applies an ankle lock of his own, putting his heel opponent in trouble. "Mr. Submission" rants, flailing, managing to grab his rival with his hands and taking him to the floor with him. Rob Reynolds, however, returns the favor in their last match, taking advantage of it to try a cradle pinfall: 1 ... 2 .. 3! Rob Reynolds wins by a fast roll up. [49] The Brass Knuckles champ Davis Wayne Newton delivers a promo inside the squared circle, talking about how he was one step away from winning the Beat-the-Clock after defeating that pathetic "vigilante" Southern Stinger. Whatever the point he was trying to make, the champ is interrupted by "The Stinger" himself amidst the enthusiasm of the audience, as the facepainted babyface arrives on the stage via the railings. Before he can enter the ring, however, Stinger's rival Dreadnought appears from backstage and quickly reaches the ring to clash with the vigilante, being followed closely by his agent Laura Catherine Huggins. Davis Wayne Newton contentedly takes advantage of his newly imposing ally to taunt "The Stinger," pointing out how he is outnumbered now. But suddenly the arrival of babyface Xavi Ferrera, with whom DWN has had some recent rifts, evens the score. The boss assistant Mya Catalan also shows up on stage, reporting the wishes of Ricky Dale Johnson and officiating a tag team match, RIGHT HERE! RIGHT NOW!!! [45] Davis Wayne Newton, Dreadnought vs Southern Stinger, Xavi Ferrera In a decent match, Dreadnought acts dominant while Davis Wayne Newton mainly exploits the work of his partner. The babyfaces, who don't work well as a team as their timing is all over the place, have to suffer a bit before building some sort of momentum. After ten minutes, Dreadnought runs and lifts Xavi Ferrera for a Dread Bomb, but a Dropkick on his back from Southern Stinger brings the behemoth close to the ropes, and Xavi Ferrera is able to hang on them and hit a Hurricanrana on Dreadnought who falls outside the ring. Xavi Ferrera then sacrifices his body by launching himself over the third rope and landing on his opponent, while in the ring Davis Wayne Newton gets surprised by Southern Stinger signature submission hold: STINGER FALL! Fka as Rayne Fall, the submission hold forces the LSW Brass Knuckles champ to tap out, and just like that the babyfaces win the bout! [45] In a taped video, a new heel tag team is introduced to LSW audience. Straight from New York, two Italo-Americans hype their upcoming debut in the Mid South, calling themselves THE EMPIRE! The Queens thug Antonio Del Veccio and the muscular bully Brutus Milano promise to takeover Lone Star Wrestling soon. Another interesting duo joining a booming tag team division of the company. [35] Just like last month, The Most Wanted faction are not featured in any matches, but they talk once again about their future, focusing mainly on deciding who should lead the brigade now that Renegade Bradley Blaze is gone. No official decision yet, but veteran Outlaw Wes Revell, in the group since day one, offers himself as the leader of his comrades. On a side note, Maverick Chip Martin's gimmick starts getting stale. [32] Kip Keenan (c) vs James Prudence for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title The champ Kip Keenan squares up for the second time against James Prudence, who gained another title shot by winning the Beat-the-Clock challenge last month. In a superb match both babyfaces give it their all, James Prudence fails to lock the champ in his Prudential Pain Plan, while the Surf's Up proved not enough to win by pinfall, just like Keenan's Belly To Belly Suplex has not been enough to defeat "Platinum." After eighteen minutes, Kip Keenan manages to connect his new signature: ONE-WINGED EAGLE! An exhausted Kip Keenan goes for the pinfall, despite a less than perfect cover: 1 ... 2 .. James Prudence instinctively puts his hand on the rope next to him, but the referee is covered and doesn't notice ... 3!! DIN DIN DIN!!! Kip Keenan wins the match and makes defense number three of the LSW Texas Heavyweight title. [65] After the match, James Prudence loses his cool and goes face-to-face with referee Clinton Edwards, yelling at him that his hand was on the rope and that the pinfall count should have been stopped, while a confused Kip Keenan interrupts his celebration to figure out what is going on. The boss Ricky Dale Johnson also reaches the ring as the tension grows more and more between the protagonists of this segment after this shady ending. Kip Keenan does his job as babyface champ, hugging James Prudence and saying he's sorry for the way things turned out. James Prudence just can't seem to blow off steam, however, shoving Kip Keenan away, intimating Ricky Dale Johnson to sort things out, and telling the referee to go to hell, before heading backstage. And with Kip Keenan and RDJ watching James Prudence walk away, this Lone Star Wrestling show also comes to a close. We are fine as long as it's not Mallory or Silva lol
  22. Pretty sure lots of you already watched this, but I'll leave it here Huge interview
  23. I suggest checking some former TCW champs now retired, among them you should find someone suitable for the role CQI suggestion about Ricky Dale Johnson is one of the best option I think!
  24. Charlotte still is 5x a bigger star than 95% of the female roster in WWE and 100% of the female roster in AEW (outside Monè). True! No idea how this has to do with Riho vs Willow tho! Also, and correct me if I'm wrong, it was a championship match against Seth Rollins who is a star and a main eventer. Babyface vs babyface was just a part of my thought man. My question was - replying to a specific post form another user - was Riho vs. Willow their best option for the main event of their flagship show? None of them are draws, none of them are stars, and you have a tv show on TNT and you're desperate to raise your viewers. I understand that you like the wrestling you like, and probably don't care anything about the business around it, but from a business standpoint to me it made zero sense to have two midcard babyface women wrestler to close the show, as you should always tried to close the show with your best names and attract casual viewers. Do you disagree with this point?
