  1. Preview for LSW Sundown Showdown 2022 David Stone vs Prime Time Jack Pryde An all-new match-up should open up the event, as Canadian next gen star David Stone is set to collide against Prime Time Jack Pryde, the cocky heel now managed by Venus Angeletti. David Stone has proven to be a solid competitor despite his young age since his Lone Star Wrestling debut, while Jack Pryde has lately found a bit more continuity despite losing to James Prudence in the Beat-the-Clock challenge. Which young gun will come out on top? The American Cobras (Malloy, Spillane) vs The Gonzalez Family (Carlos, Marco) The rivalry continues between beloved babyfaces The American Cobras and arrogant heels The Gonzalez Family. After nearly being injured during last event, and being saved only by the arrival of Storm Spillane, Marvel Malloy will be reunited with his partner recently recovered from injury. The Cobras will be ready to strike their rivals, but Carlos and Marco Gonzalez definitely have a good chance to win this bout and prove to the entire tag team division that they are a real problem to deal with. Quentin Queen vs Remmy Honeyman in a Winner Gets Re-Hired match It's official! After being fired months ago after losing at Go Big or Go Home tag team bout, after the betrayal and heel turn of Quentin Queen on Remmy Honeyman, after their previous match ended in double disqualification when things got heated, it is finally time to close this chapter in Lone Star Wrestling. "Q-Man" and Remmy Honeyman will collide once again in singles action, and this time the stakes will be higher than ever; the winner will get a new contract in LSW, while the loser will be covered in humiliation and will have to give up hopes of returning to the roster. The Dynamite Express (Jones, Collier) vs Jared Johnson, Tavon Blake Jr After a successful debut, Cam Jones and Syd Collier sent a message to the entire tag team division, claiming that they will climb it sooner than everyone expected. The Dynamite Express will have a chance to do so, as long as they first defeat the workhorse tag team composed of Jared Johnson and Tavon Blake Jr, a pair of technical babyfaces we have already seen paired during the Series and who could themselves enter the tag team rankings by winning this bout. Al Coleman vs Rob Reynolds "Mr. Submission" still has not been able to submit his former friend and rival Rob Reynolds, despite coming close on 3 different occasions in the past with his lethal Ankle Brace. Last month, Al Coleman took home a victory over "The Motor City Menace" with a quick pinfall, but it did not seem to be enough for him. In fact, Rob Reynolds spoiled his rival's victory a bit, claiming that Al Coleman couldn't make him tap out. Now tied at 1-1 in previous match-ups, who will have the upper hand in this one? And will "Mr. Submission" live up to his nickname by making Rob Reynolds submit? Kip Keenan (c) vs James Prudence for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title James Prudence will get a second chance to defeat the title holder and become LSW Texas Heavyweight champion, thanks to his victory in the Beat-the-Clock challenge staged at LSW Beach Brawl 2022 in Miami. In a clash of babyfaces, "The American Eagle" Kip Keenan is called upon for another very complicated title defense against one of Lone Star Wrestling's best competitors. Will the result be the same as a couple of months ago? Will Kip Keenan triumph again after his One-Winged Eagle? Or will "Platinum" James Prudence walk out this sundown showdown with the golden title belt around his waist? Key for Predictions: David Stone vs Prime Time Jack Pryde [1 Pts] The American Cobras vs The Gonzalez Family [1 Pts] Quentin Queen vs Remmy Honeyman [1 Pts] The Dynamite Express vs Jared Johnson, Tavon Blake Jr [1 Pts] Al Coleman vs Rob Reynolds [1 Pts] Kip Keenan (c) vs James Prudence for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title [1 Pts]
  2. Angry Gilmore & Robbie Retro vs Atom Smasher & Des Davids Oliver Kobb vs Zeus Maxmillion Demolition (Avalanche & Primus Allen) vs The Dallas Cowboys (Marshall Dillon & Ranger) Charger Siaki vs Rogue Brandon James vs Valiant (BONUS) Which match will have the highest rating? Main event
  3. LSW Beach Brawl 2022 Sunday, Week 3, May 2022 Held in Miami, FL (South East) in front of 660 people 70,714 viewers on WrestleWorld Lone Star Wrestling has reached into its wallet and increased its budget by a few thousand dollars for this historic first event outside Mid South, with a local band performing live music to start the show, a Miami-themed set and a minor celebrity joking with Kip Keenan, the LSW Texas Heavyweight champion that opens up the show. "The American Eagle" won't be in action tonight, but he hypes the Beat-the-Clock challenge that will take place tonight, and from which his new No. One Contender will emerge. A classic babyface champ promo to start the show and welcome everybody to this South East event, good performance on the mic by Kip Keenan. [65] The Dynamite Express (Jones, Collier) vs The Oklahomans (Patterson, Night) Cam Jones and Syd Collier make their debut as weasely heels, getting a rather low initial interest from the crowd. However, their excellent chemistry teaming together lifts their performances and, in a bout with decent wrestling, The Dynamite Express defeat The Oklahomans with ease in seven minutes, when Syd Collier submits Jules Night with a Texas Cloverleaf. [46] After the match, Cam Jones and Syd Collier have a short mic promo, putting every tag team in LSW on notice ‘cause The Dynamite Express are coming full speed at any single one of them! And in a blink of an eye, the two weasely heels will be at the top of the division. [30] Marvel Malloy vs Carlos Gonzalez One half of The American Cobras, Marvel Malloy is out here alone as his partner is recovering from his leg injury caused by The Gonzalez Family. And talking about the Puerto Ricans, Malloy’s opponent his Carlos Gonzalez, accompanied to the ring by his niece Marco. In a decent match, Marvel Malloy defeats Carlos Gonzalez in eight minutes by pinfall with a Marvel Breaker. Useless is the distraction by Marco Gonzalez in the end. [49] After the match, The Gonzalez Family start to beatdown Marvel Malloy, who is forced to succumb outnumbered. After a couple of minutes of beating, Carlos Gonzalez and Marco Gonzalez trap Marvel Malloy with his leg between the steel stairs and the ring, intent on injuring Marvel Malloy the same way they injured his partner. And talking about Storm Spillane, he surprisingly walk out of nowhere to save his friend, wielding his own crutch and bravely hunting the Puerto Ricans. Still hobbled by his injury, the babyface just made a huge save and the fans celebrate him and Marvel Malloy, white The American Cobras exchange fiery words with The Gonzalez. [41] Al Coleman vs Rob Reynolds in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match Finally, the two rivals clash in singles action after months from Al Coleman heel turn, attacking his former friend and costing him the Brass Knuckles championship. This time one-on-one as part of the Beat-the-Clock challenge, in a decent match Al Coleman is able to lock Rob Reynolds in his Ankle Brace. "The Motor City Menace" tries to hold on and manages to get into a better position, finding himself back to the floor with Al Coleman right on top of him. "Mr. Submission" holds the hold for a few moments but then, realizing the situation, throws himself with the full weight of his body over Rob Reynolds, pinning him surprisingly for the 1 ... 2 .. 3! Al Coleman scores the W in 13:46 and set the time to beat in the challenge. [52] In a short backstage segment, The Most Wanted faction finds themselves talking on camera for the first time about their future, a few months after their leader Renegade Bradley Blaze left Lone Star Wrestling. Nothing memorable or special, just a quick angle to show Maverick Chip Martin, Outlaw Wes Revell and Bandit Waylon Walls on camera. [29] Davis Wayne Newton vs Southern Stinger in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match In the second match of the Beat-the-Clock match, the Brass Knuckles champ goes one-on-one against "The Stinger" and the time to beat is 13:46. In a decent match, Southern Stinger has all the cheers of the fans in attendance on his side, and he puts "Triple Threat" on the ropes, but accidentally everything changes when the referee ends up on the mat after a fortuitous collision. Dreadnought makes an interference and delivers a beatdown on "The Stinger," ending him with a Dread Bomb. Davis Wayne Newton cowardly takes advantage of the situation, pinning his opponent as a stunned referee performs a slow count. In 13:10, Davis Wayne Newton defeats Southern Stinger and passes Al Coleman in the Beat-the-Clock challenge. [48] After the match, Davis Wayne Newton walks backstage with his Brass Knuckles title belt, while Dreadnought makes another run-in the squared circle and assaults his rival Southern Stinger, leaving him down and out after a second Dread Bomb, while her agent Laura Catherine Huggins celebrates his power. [43] The Canadian Blondes (Flash Savage, Ozzie Goldstein) vs The Wild Cats (El Jaguar, Tigre Salvaje Jr) The masked luchadores celebrate their first match as official members of the Lone Star Wrestling roster in a big way. In a bout that has decent wrestling but doesn't have much heat, The Wild Cats defeat The Canadian Blondes in nine minutes when El Jaguar pins Flash Savage with a Jaguar Suplex. Both luchadores make a wonderful impression on the fans with great gimmick ratings. [55] In a backstage angle, the assistant Mya Catalan interrupts his boss Ricky Dale Johnson, busy with some paperwork at his desk, to inform him of the success of a task she had been given. Both Quentin Queen and Remmy Honeyman accepted the proposal made by RDJ, and at the next event they will collide once again in singles action, and the winner will earn a new contract with the promotion, while the other will have to disappear into oblivion. [33] Cali Slick vs Jared Johnson in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match Two rivals collide during the Beat-the-Clock challenge and their goal is to defeat the opponent in less than 13:10. In a bout that has good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Jared Johnson and Cali Slick have arguably the best match of the night and do even better than their previous match-up. "The Draw" Cali Slick this time has the upper hand and connects his Slick-Back! 1 .. 2 .. 2.9! NOO!"Double J" kicks out of his rival's signature move, definitely a big deal here in LSW. And after a few seconds of shock and despair, Cali Slick is stopped by the ringing of the bell. The time of the match came in at 13:10, which means neither of them could beat the clock, and this match ends in a draw as the time limit has expired. [61] The weasel Vinny Cruz comforts Cali Slick after the match, who almost seems to want to justify himself to his agent by saying that it is obvious how he had Jared Johnson in the palm of his hand! It's clear how "The Draw" has proven to be the best, right? Vinny Cruz nods, but it's an empty nod, as if he's paying less and less attention to his client's words; does he really want to replace him? Jared Johnson, meanwhile, leaves the ring and returns backstage, reminding Cali Slick, however, how he didn't beat him, and how "Double J" is still 1-0 ahead of his rival. [45] James Prudence vs Prime Time Jack Pryde in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match We arrived at the last match of the Beat-the-Clock challenge and the time to beat is still 13:10. The cocky Jack Pryde immediately attacks James Prudence taking advantage of an early distraction by his valet Venus Angeletti. In a bout that has a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling due to "Prime Time" in-ring performance, James Prudence defeats Jack Pryde in 11:22 by pinfall with a Surf's Up to beat the clock and become the No. One Contender at the Texas Heavyweight title. [43] The champ Kip Keenan walks out and joins the squared circle after the match, sharing a couple of words with his next challenger before shaking hands with him to the applause of the fans. The two hottest babyfaces in LSW today will once again collide for the main title belt; last month Kip Keenan was able to pin James Prudence to retain the championship, will the One-Winged Eagle hit "Platinum" once again? Or maybe this time James Prudence will put the champ to sleep with his Prudential Pain Plan? [66] Cobra, Texas Hangman (c) vs The Heartbreak Express (Needham, Liotta) for the LSW Tag Team titles And now it's time for the main event, as The Strong Hand adepts defend their championships from the assault of their challenger, the winners of the 3rd Mid South Tag Series, The Heartbreak Express! In a decent match, Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta fight back really well, but after thirteen minutes the way seems paved for a victory for the champions, as Texas Hangman prepares for his Choke Slam. Cobra however "steals" the tag once again by really infuriating his partner: HANGMAN PUT HIS HAND AROUND COBRA'S NECK! Tense moments between the champs, Johnny Needham bravely makes a run-in and blindsides "The Hangman" with a Dropkick. Cobra slams to the corner remaining stunned, The Heartbreak Express combine their forces to throw Texas Hangman outside the ring, before hitting The Score on Cobra, all under the desperate eyes of Travis Century: Ralph Liotta goes for the pin over Cobra: 1 ... 2 .. 3!! THEY DID IT! The Heartbreak Express win the LSW tag team championships. [54] The babyfaces celebrate their title win alongside her friend and valet Sweet Tabitha before returning backstage, while in the ring Travis Century loses his cool and starts yelling at Texas Hangman, while Cobra is down and out at ringside. "The Preacher" goes face-to-face with "The Hangman" and slaps him! "The Hangman" turns red with rage and puts his hand around Century's neck unleashing the joy of the Miami crowd. However, Cobra returns inside the squared circle with a chain, probably found under the ring, and attacks Texas Hangman from behind, strangling him until he releases his hold on "The Preacher" and passes out. And after this, it's safe to say that "The Hangman" should be out of The Strong Hand faction. 4. I'm such a sucker for cocky heels factions lol we stan Hollywood Uncensored! Congrats on winning the monthly rating for 3 months straight, the three promotions are so close that no one can take a breath honestly. I think a big indicator of the future of this war will be when Gauge, Hawkins, Cornell, Chord, Mighty Mo contracts are set to expire 'cause usually USPW has the upper hand on signing them.

  6. 100% kayfabe thanks god! So far I have to say I basically had zero injuries in over two years lol, how lucky This was part of @azzak reward pick he chose to head South East for the first ever LSW event outside Mid South! A logic choice to expand this southern product!
  7. Preview for LSW Beach Brawl 2022 For the first time ever, Lone Star Wrestling will take over South East, heading to Miami! This will mark company’s first event outside Mid South! The Dynamite Express (Jones, Collier) vs The Oklahomans (Patterson, Night) The young Oklahomans Jason Patterson and Jules Night kinda have some warm momentum going into this tag team match against a debuting duo here in Lone Star Wrestling, The Dynamite Express! After making a name for themselves as one of the best tag team on the US indie scene, Cam Jones and Syd Collier headed to Canada for years to conquer achievements up North and become arguably in the world's best tag team conversation. The Express will now stop in LSW, as Ricky Dale Johnson announced that they signed exclusive contracts for the promotion. Will The Oklahomans spoil their debut? Marvel Malloy vs Carlos Gonzalez After emerging victorious by referee stoppage alongside his niece Marco Gonzalez in a tag team match against The American Cobras last month, Carlos Gonzalez will now collide one-on-one against Marvel Malloy. With Storm Spillane out with a kayfabe injured leg, the other half of the Cobras will attempt to defeat the arrogant Puerto Rican and avenge his friend and partner. It will be a really curious one versus one bout, as both competitors are more used to fighting in tag team action usually. The Canadian Blondes (Flash Savage, Ozzie Goldstein) vs The Wild Cats (El Jaguar, Tigre Salvaje Jr) The Canadian Blondes will try to regain some momentum after a good performance at the Series that, however, saw them lose in the finals. Their opponents will be babyfaces El Jaguar and Tigre Salvaje Jr, two luchadores straight from Mexico whom we have already seen in action a few times here in Lone Star Wrestling and whom, from now on, we should see more and more often. A balanced two-on-two to grace the card. Cobra, Texas Hangman (c) vs The Heartbreak Express (Needham, Liotta) for the LSW Tag Team titles And talking about tag team action, the LSW Tag Team championships are up for grabs as Cobra and Texas Hangman will have to defend their title straps from the onslaught of Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta, winners of the 3rd edition of the Mid South Tag Series, during which they also defeated the current tag team champions. It is evident how there are many tensions within the heelish faction of The Strong Hand; the fading chemistry between Cobra and Texas Hangman, the spirit of rebellion of the big heavyweight against "The Preacher" Travis Century, and so on. Will it be enough to make the champions vulnerable once again, leaving The Heartbreak Express a big chance to snatch the championships from The Strong Hand? Beat-the-Clock challenge to crown the No. One Contender at the Texas Heavyweight title! Al Coleman vs Rob Reynolds in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match The two rivals and former friends will clash in the first bout of the Beat-the-Clock, aiming to defeat the hated opponent and defeat him as quickly as possible, thus earning a title shot at the LSW Texas Heavyweight title. In their last outings, Al Coleman and Rob Reynolds ended up getting in each other's way far too much, failing to win the Brass Knuckles championship in multi-man matches. Now it will be just the two of them inside the squared circle, ready to prove their superiority over each other. Davis Wayne Newton vs Southern Stinger in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match The second match of the Challenge sees the LSW Brass Knuckles champ Davis Wayne Newton going one-on-one versus the madman facepainted vigilante. Both are coming off good results, with "Triple Threat" confirming himself as champion using his slyness, while Southern Stinger defeated Dreadnought in singles action recently. Will it be one of them to beat the clock? Cali Slick vs Jared Johnson in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match Another tough match-up between two competitors who would have all the makings of a challenge to Kip Keenan for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title. After their beef over the past few months, Cali Slick and Jared Johnson, who has clearly had the better of "The Draw" so far, will collide one versus one hoping to beat their rival and the clock, so as to become the new No. One Contenders at the big gold. James Prudence vs Prime Time Jack Pryde in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match Fourth and last bout of the Beat-the-Clock challenge is probably the most unbalanced match-up on paper. Despite having lost his championship match last month, babyface star James Prudence remains one of the hottest competitors in Lone Star Wrestling and will do anything to regain a title shot and challenge Kip Keenan again. His opponent will be the cocky Prime Time Jack Pryde, who has regained his lifeblood of late with the support of his new valet Venus Angeletti, and with a surprise victory could find himself back in the main event scene! Key for Predictions: The Dynamite Express vs The Oklahomans [1 Pts] Marvel Malloy vs Carlos Gonzalez [1 Pts] The Canadian Blondes vs The Wild Cats [1 Pts] Cobra, Texas Hangman (c) vs The Heartbreak Express for the LSW Tag Team titles [1 Pts] Al Coleman vs Rob Reynolds in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match [1 Pts] Davis Wayne Newton vs Southern Stinger in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match [1 Pts] Cali Slick vs Jared Johnson in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match [1 Pts] James Prudence vs Prime Time Jack Pryde in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match [1 Pts] Pick the winner of the Beat-the-Clock challenge! 8. Kamille has all the tools to carry the division, visually I can't imagine Thunder Rosa defeating them but it could be a nice small underdog challenger storyline to follow. That TV title match had such a low rating, what happened? Nice to see AJ and Beer Money with the golds 😉 nostalgia feels good, huh?
  9. The amount of star power is crazy! I really hope Punk can stay healthy at least for a year or so lol really want to see him vs Drew, vs Seth, and many more ..
  10. Oh c'moooon Matt! Don't act like Riho is a draw or something lol being the first AEW Women's champ doesn't automatically make you a star. And usually it's better to have major draws or stars in your main event, right? Also, Willow pinned Rhea Ripley? Or Charlotte? Or Becky? 🤔 I don't recall that
  11. Total Wrestling News - Roster Shake-Up in LSW Despite the fact that its own best stars have now either been already raided or are under exclusive contracts with the promotion, TCW just stole another couple talents from RDJ's promotion; Jackpot Jordan and Ozzie Goldstein singed with San Antonio's major company and should leave LSW soon. Also, Hollywood Jake Idol has tied himself exclusively to NYCW, despite it being an unwritten gentleman's agreement. Definitely not major loss for Lone Star Wrestling which has become accustomed to much worse. Ricky Dale Johnson's promotion took home more workers, however, going on to beef up the tag team division and by quite a bit: having become free agents following CWA bankruptcy, LSW signed to exclusive written contracts the Americans Cam Jones and Syd Collier, known as The Dynamite Express. After a couple of loans from CILL, The Wild Cats (El Jaguar, Tigre Salvaje Jr) struck a deal directly with LSW and should start working in both promotions now. Last but not least two Italian-Americans from NY, Antonio Del Veccio and Brutus Milano, just signed with RDJ's promotion and it is rumored that the ownership might try them as a new tag team to test their potential chemistry.

  14. LSW Unchained 2022 Sunday, Week 4, April 2022 Held in Dallas, TX (Mid South) in front of 2,360 people 69,387 viewers on WrestleWorld Prime Time Jack Pryde vs Miller Fforde With Venus Angeletti and Johnny Martin at their respective corners, Prime Time Jack Pryde and Miller Fforde collide in a bout that has decent wrestling but doesn't have much heat. After about eight minutes, Miller Fforde goes close to ending the bout, but a distraction by the beautiful Venus Angeletti costs "The Fighting Underdog" the match, as Jack Pryde surprises him with a roll up to win the opening bout. It would seem that, after all, there is no redemption for Prime Time. [46] After the match, Miller Fforde is comforted by Johnny Martin who looks on with disappointment at Jack Pryde's attitude, a scene already seen two years ago now. "Prime Time" and Venus Angeletti have a short post-match promo in which they mock the stupid Dallas crowd who believed, perhaps hoped, for a babyface turn from him. The cocky rookie is the same old piece of trash, but now his ego is even bigger thanks to Venus Angeletti's attention. [30] The Oklahomans (Patterson, Night) vs The Hot Taggs (Kalder, Wolfie) A lowcard tag team match between The Oklahomans and unexperienced The Hot Taggs turns out to be what many expected, pretty forgettable. However, in around seven minutes, The Oklahomans score a victory when Jason Patterson pins Kalder Tagg with an Oklahoma Stampede. A useful W for the babyfaces to keep their momentum warm. [34] We move backstage where Jared Johnson appears rather bored with his interlocutor, that weasel Vinny Cruz. The sports agent, who is managing Cali Slick with whom "Double J" has been having beef lately, says he greatly admires Jared Johnson's talent and believes he can be to future star with the right connections that matter - obviously hinting at his ability as agent. However, the talk breaks down when Cali Slick "catches" the two intent on talking, with Vinny Cruz awkwardly trying to come up with a justification as to why his agent and "Double J" are talking. Jared Johnson is not interested in stirring up controversy, saying that he has already wasted far too much time listening to Vinny Cruz's words in the wind, and that he would rather let his actions do the talking should he clash with Cali Slick in the ring again, before leaving the scene. The crew cuts it as Vinny Cruz and Cali Slick begin to argue, leaving us with a doubt; is Vinny Cruz really trying to engage Jared Johnson as his next client? Does he want to do it behind the back of "The Draw" Cali Slick? Or is it all part of a bigger picture?[48] Quentin Queen vs Remmy Honeyman The Hive has broken up and the only sweet thing is the revenge that awaits Remmy Honeyman, attacked by his former partner Quentin Queen months ago after losing their last match as a duo. After signing a single-appearance contract to finally clash one-on-one, the two competitors have a wild brawl with decent wrestling and little heat from the crowd. At one point, past the ten-minute mark of the match, the aggressiveness of the two wrestlers causes them to lose control, shattering the rules imposed by the referee and ending up forcing the match director to call a double disqualification. The bell rings and the ref calls it for a draw, but both competitors keep going at each other. [46] Quentin Queen and Remmy Honeyman are unchained and they keep brawling, forcing the boss Ricky Dale Johnson to walk out on stage, calling in several security personnel to separate the two rivals. The segment would have needed a little more star power from the wrestlers involved in order to successfully have them fighting for that long. Lots of beating, but no final resolution, no winner, will there be a sequel to their rivalry? [43] Davis Stone vs Maverick Chip Martin With Outlaw Wes Revell and Bandit Waylon Walls at ringside, who on a couple of occasions manage to distract David Stone, Maverick Chip Martin takes on the Canadian next gen star. In a bout that has sub-par wrestling and little heat, David Stone defeats Maverick Chip Martin in around eight minutes by pinfall with a Stone Cutter. The announcing quality lifts the match. [46] In a backstage segment, Flash Savage and Ozzie Goldstein reflect among themselves on what happened recently. The abandonment of their leader Raphael after being shaved, the defeat in the Finals of the Mid South Tag Series against The Heartbreak Express. The Canadian Blondes close the angle by saying that a turnaround will be needed. [43] The American Cobras (Malloy, Spillane) vs The Gonzalez Family (Carlos, Marco) In a decent match, everything revolves around the kayfabe leg injury of Storm Spillane, suffered a couple of weeks ago during the Series due to a vicious assault of Carlos and Marco Gonzalez. For a good portion of the bout, the injured babyface is punished by the lower extremity attacks of the Puerto Ricans, with some good breaks by Marvel Malloy. However, after twelve minutes, the leg of Storm Spillane collapses during his attempt on locking his signature submission hold, and Carlos Gonzalez then beats him up so bad on the injured limb that the referee is forced to stop the fight. The Gonzalez Family wins this bout by referee stoppage, taking a victory over The American Cobras and receiving booing from the audience. [50] Dreadnought reaches the ring followed by his agent Laura Catherine Huggins, simply inviting Southern Stinger to show up again and receive a beating, courtesy of the behemoth. After a few seconds, the babyface facepainted vigilante shows up and launches himself directly inside the squared circle, assaulting Dreadnought: IT'S FIGHT TIME! A wild brawl also degenerates at ringside, but this time Southern Stinger manages to hold off the destructive force of his rival, as they keep fighting on their way to the backstage, where we only catch a glimpse of some security personnel trying to quell it. A clear and direct segment to add heat on their rivalry, it would seem that a new clash between Dreadnought and "The Stinger" is on the horizon. [45] Newton (c) vs Coleman vs Reynolds vs Ferrera in a No DQ match for the LSW Brass Knuckles title In a decent four way match contested under brass knuckles rules, i.e. without disqualification, there is room for a few blunt objects but without falling into a hardcore match featuring the most disparate weapons. The objects used are Rob Reynolds’ wrench, who by the way is really off his game in the match, a couple of steel chairs taken from the railings, a Singapore cane and the Brass Knuckles championship itself. After thirteen minutes, "The Motor City Menace" gets some personal revenge when he strikes his rival Al Coleman with the Real Deal Rocker to leave him down and out, while Xavi Ferrera is exhausted outside the ring. The champ Davis Wayne Newton blindsides Rob Reynolds with a wrench shot on the back, before going for a quick pinfall over Al Coleman to steal this one for the second time in a row: 1 ... 2 .. 3! "Triple Threat" impressively walks out still as the champ, making defense number two of the LSW Brass Knuckles title strap. [54] In a segment in the ring, Travis Century lectures Texas Hangman and Cobra for their unrighteous attitude and problems as partners, forcing them to get down on their knees to atone for their sins and ask forgiveness from the Lord. With both his adepts kneeling, "The Preacher" gives a sermon and then slaps Cobra across the face! The Florida man takes the blow in silence, Travis Century stands in front of Texas Hangman to replicate the punitive gesture, but "The Hangman" with a menacing look makes "The Preacher" flinch! Tension rises, but to break it up here comes an interruption from The Heartbreak Express. Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta urge the heel group not to get lost in reminiscing about the past, a very recent past in which they lost to the very bubby babyfaces in the Series, but in focusing on the future. And the future for the champs is a "full-speed express" - pun intended - coming straight at them. Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta in fact announced that, after their victory in the Mid South Tag Series, the boss Ricky Dale Johnson informed them that they would have a title shot for the LSW Texas Heavyweight championships next month, against champs Texas Hangman and Cobra. [44] Kip Keenan (c) vs James Prudence for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title And in the main event, two of the hottest babyfaces in Lone Star Wrestling collide in a superb match for the Texas Heavyweight championship. As is often the case with main events here in the Mid South, there is a lot of emphasis on psychology and a slow start to build some momentum and have the crowd more involved. After almost seventeen minutes, James Prudence locks Kip Keenan in his Prudential Pain Plan, but the champ is adept at rolling backwards and closing out a pinfall attempt: 1 ... 2 .. 2.5! "Platinum" shifts his center of gravity with his kickout and rolls back behind Kip Keenan, but fails to put him back in his submission hold and ends up locking only his head. "The American Eagle" with a great effort gets back up with James Prudence on his back at dead weight, helping himself with the ropes until he gets back to his feet, then surprisingly managing to transition his challenger from his back to his shoulders: ONE-WINGED EAGLE! With a fantastic reversal, Kip Keenan is able to connect his new finisher to win the match and making his defense number two of the Texas Heavyweight title belt. [63] To the applause of the more than 2,300 fans in attendance, Kip Keenan proves himself a great champion, approaching a disappointed and embittered James Prudence to offer him a handshake. "Platinum" thinks about it, perhaps even a few seconds too long, but eventually reciprocates the handshake and congratulates "The American Eagle" on his victory. And as James Prudence leaves the ring to return to backstage while Kip Keenan raises his championship high in the squared circle, it closes LSW Unchained 2022! Too many stars not feat. in matches, I'm afraid NO (BONUS 2) Will SWF top the TV ratings this month? YES! Comments on diary / last event: Last event was good! Didn't expect that title change in the main event, it was a huge W by Remo. I read your explanations and it makes sense Nice to actually see Hollywood taking the new title strap!
  17. But why should you have two babyface midcard women fighting in the main event of your flagship weekly tv show? Was it their best option? 🤔
  18. Hi man, pretty sure he didn't! If I'm not wrong he did NOTBPW and CGC in the past, and ACPW also. Now that I think about, will may have done every Canadian promotion except CWA lol
  19. Preview for LSW Unchained 2022 Prime Time Jack Pryde vs Miller Fforde It's a good momentum for Prime Time Jack Pryde, who after months of trying to get into the "Inner Circle" of Ernest Youngman, Jake Idol, etc., has finally pulled out his pride and earned some public support. Now Jack Pryde will find himself one-on-one against babyface Miller Fforde, managed by Johnny Martin with whom "Prime Time" has had several skirmishes in the past. In Jack Pryde's corner, however, we can expect to see the beautiful valet Venus Angeletti, who has decided to bet on cocky talent as a wrestler to manage here in LSW. Will this be the challenge that will lead to Jack Pryde being permanently respected? Should we expect to see him among the ranks of babyfaces in the future? The Oklahomans (Patterson, Night) vs The Hot Taggs (Kalder, Wolfie) In a lowcard two versus two, The Oklahomans will have to prove their worth against The Hot Taggs, Kalder and Wolfie Tagg, two young brawlers from Montana who despite having picked up little in Lone Star Wrestling so far are making their bones and, inside the squared circle, are already quite capable in breaking them. Despite both duos were eliminated in the Qualifiers of the Mid South Tag Series, the winning tag could climb a few positions in the tag team rankings. Davis Stone vs Maverick Chip Martin David Stone and Miller Fforde's adventure as a tag team in the Series was not a great success, partly due to Maverick Chip Martin interfering in their match to help Bandit Waylon Walls and Outlaw Wes Revell. However, The Canadian next generation star will have the opportunity to get his hands on "The Maverick" in a one-on-one between two interesting young talents. Quentin Queen vs Remmy Honeyman After years spent as tag team partners known as The Hive, Quentin Queen surprisingly turned heel on Remmy Honeyman when they lost a match that cost them their job in Lone Star Wrestling. This burst of anger convinced Ricky Dale Johnson, who has a soft spot for the ruthless attitude of his workers, to give the two wrestlers another chance, who are now driven by an inner fire; inside Quentin Queen burns a fire of aggression and desire to break through in this business, no matter what the cost, while inside Remmy Honeyman burns a fire of revenge, eager to make his former tag team partner's life a living hell. Both still without a contract in LSW, RDJ and the two competitors agreed for a single-appearance deal to have this singles match on the card. The American Cobras (Malloy, Spillane) vs The Gonzalez Family (Carlos, Marco) The Puerto Ricans, Carlos and Marco Gonzalez, have gone out of their way to make fans and other tag teams hate them since day one here in the Mid South, brutally assaulting fan favorites The American Cobras on their debut and aiming for the top of the tag team division. Things did not go their way, however, and during the Series, The Gonzalez Family were eliminated from the tournament precisely by the Cobras. In the post-match the two arrogant heels took petty revenge, injuring Storm Spillane in the leg and costing them any good chance on winning the Series. Some rumors report how Storm Spillane is far from 100 percent even now, but he and Marvel Malloy still convinced Ricky Dale Johnson to make this match official to kick the Gonzalez’s butts. Newton (c) vs Coleman vs Reynolds vs Ferrera in a No DQ match for the LSW Brass Knuckles title A huge four way match to be contested under brass knuckles rules, meaning that it will be a No Disqualification bout, will tell us who will walk out LSW Unchained 2022 as LSW Brass Knuckles champion. This ménage à quatre will see Davis Wayne Newton defend his title strap from former champ Rob Reynolds, his rival Al Coleman, and Xavi Ferrera, who recently lost to DWN mainly due to a chaotic interference by the other two contenders. The championship reign of the Canadian is really in jeopardy, who are you betting on? Kip Keenan (c) vs James Prudence for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title A couple of weeks ago the gauntlet was thrown down by James Prudence, the champ Kip Keenan accepted it, and the boss Ricky Dale Johnson made the title match official. In the main event, the two main babyfaces in the company will collide in singles action with the LSW Texas Heavyweight championship up for grabs! Will "Platinum" be able to lock the champ in his Prudential Pain Plan and make him tap out? Will Kip Keenan score the pinfall after hitting his brand new One-Winged Eagle signature move? This main event could be one for the ages, and the outcome is anything but a foregone conclusion. Key for Predictions: Prime Time Jack Pryde vs Miller Fforde [1 Pts] The Oklahomans vs The Hot Taggs [1 Pts] Davis Stone vs Maverick Chip Martin [1 Pts] Quentin Queen vs Remmy Honeyman [1 Pts] The American Cobras vs The Gonzalez Family [1 Pts] Newton (c) vs Coleman vs Reynolds vs Ferrera for the LSW Brass Knuckles title [1 Pts] Kip Keenan (c) vs James Prudence for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title [1 Pts]

  21. LSW Mid South Tag Series 3 Saturday, Week 2, April 2022 Held in Wichita, KS (Mid South) in front of 1,916 people 65,337 viewers on WrestleWorld Cobra, Texas Hangman vs The Heartbreak Express in the First Round of the Mid South Tag Series The show opens up with tag team champs Cobra and Texas Hangman who seem to be on the same page and dominate The Heartbreak Express in the first few minutes. In a decent bout, Ralph Liotta and Johnny Needham manage to show some signs of recovery, but still the strenght of the champs keeps them in check. After ten minutes, Texas Hangman gets ready for the Choke Slam, but Cobra steals the pin from him! Cobra enters the squared circle where he is restrained for a moment by "The Hangman" as the two partners go face-to-face, Ralph Liotta storms in and blindsides Cobra, causing him to collide with Texas Hangman as he ends up down at the corner, while legal man Johnny Needham pounces on Cobra and brings him on the mat with a fast roll-up: 1 ... 2 .. 3! The Heartbreak Express defeat the champs and advance to the semifinals. [47] As The Heartbreak Express return jubilant backstage alongside valet Sweet Tabitha, tensions continue between the tag team champs as Texas Hangman grabs Cobra by the throat! Travis Century physically intervenes, getting between his two adepts and convincing "The Hangman" to let go after a few seconds. The Strong Hand looks increasingly split and "The Preacher" is in serious danger of losing control over his followers, particularly of the imposing Texas Hangman. [42] The Big Guns Reloaded vs The Wild Cats in the First Round of the Mid South Tag Series Outlaw Wes Revell, one half of originals The Big Guns who won the first Mid South Tag Series, team up with The Most Wanted faction’s ally Bandit Waylon Walls, going against The Wild Cats straight from CILL, the Mexican promotion that has a partnership with LSW. In a decent match, The Big Guns Reloaded defeat the luchadores in nine minutes, when Bandit Waylon Walls pins Tigre Salvaje Jr with a Law Of The West. Maverick Chip Martin enjoys the win at ringside, supporting his fellow partners. [52] The American Cobras vs The Gonzalez Family in the First Round of the Mid South Tag Series Finally against each others, in a decent match The American Cobras collide with The Gonzalez Family. Marco Gonzalez is the weak link in the match-up, struggling to keep up with everyone else’s in-ring performance, and also being the one to hit the pin after twelve minutes when Marvel Malloy pins him with a Cobra Strike. Despite the result, the bout has been pretty balanced between the two duos and it comes down to Cobras’ fabulous chemistry. [53] Furious after their loss, Marco and Carlos Gonzalez attack Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane after the bell, leaving them down and out. Not satisfied with the damage done, the Puerto Ricans then grab Storm Spillane and as Marco Gonzalez wedges his leg between the support post and the steel steps, Carlos Gonzalez delivers a Big Boot right on the target! OUCH! Storm Spillane screams in pain as he’s approached by referee, Marvel Malloy and medical staff. Unfortunately, one half of The American Cobras may be forced to call a forfait in the Series. [31] The Canadian Blondes vs Jared Johnson, Tavon Blake Jr in the First Round of the Mid South Tag Series It's time for the last match of the First Round, and The Canadian Blondes square up against the interesting workhorse tag team of Jared Johnson and Tavon Blake Jr. "Double J" Jared Johnson carries the match in terms of in-ring performance and the announcing quality lifts the match. After nine minutes, as the referee is distracted, Cali Slick appears out of nowhere from the railings, storming into the ring and hitting Tavon Blake Jr with his golden chain wrapped around his fist. "Double J" rushes inside the ring but fails to grab Cali Slick who disappears into the crowd, while Flash Savage with a Dropkick sends Jared Johnson out of the ring, leaving legal man Ozzie Goldstein with the easy task of knocked out Tavon Blake Jr: 1 ... 2 .. 3! The Canadian Blondes advance to the Semifinals. [52] LSW Brass Knuckles champ Davis Wayne Newton interrupts the Series to praise his title defense against Xavi Ferrera, which came thanks to a chaotic situation created by him himself, the so-called "Triple Threat." Ricky Dale Johnson surprisingly interrupts him, joining him in the ring. Both workers improvise well, getting to the reason why the boss decided to walk out here; "Triple Threat" enjoyed putting Al Coleman and Rob Reynolds in his No DQ championship match, therefore RDJ thought he was doing Davis Wayne Newton, the LSW fans and his own affairs a favor. In fact, two weeks from now, at LSW Unchained 2022, Davis Wayne Newton will again be able to see Al Coleman and Rob Reynolds involved in a Brass Knuckles title match, as they two AND Xavi Ferrera will compete in a No DQ Four Way match for the LSW Brass Knuckles title! The "Triple Threat" Davis Wayne Newton finds himself in a Fatal Four Way! [46] The Heartbreak Express vs The Big Guns Reloaded in the Semifinals of the Mid South Tag Series Babyfaces Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta are led by audience cheers against Bandit Waylon Walls and Outlaw Wes Revell. In a decent match, The Big Guns Reloaded attempts a Law of the West after thirteen minutes but the signature move gets reversed, Wes Revell gets knocked out by a double maneuver by The Heartbreak Express, who after a few moments connects The Score on Bandit Waylon Walls! Ralph Liotta goes for the cover and "scores" - no pun intended - the W, advancing to the Finals. [50] We're backstage, where Marvel Malloy and a limping Storm Spillane with a conspicuous bandage around his knee is approached by medical staff. Storm Spillane is asked if he feels up to going out there and competing in the Semifinals given his condition, and despite more than one invitation to reconsider, the babyface bravely decides not to call for a forfeit. Marvel Malloy is concerned about his partner's condition after The Gonzalez Family's post-match vicious assault, but nevertheless tries to hyping him up by saying to leave the bulk of the work to him in the upcoming bout against The Canadian Blondes. Both members of The American Cobras improvise well. [40] The American Cobras vs The Canadian Blondes in the Semifinals of the Mid South Tag Series In a bout that has good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Marvel Malloy tries to carry the team against Ozzie Goldstein and Flash Savage, who inevitably end up controlling the middle portion of the match. After a hot tag, a limping Storm Spillane gets in the ring and still manages to build some momentum, but in the decisive moment of the match his kayfabe-wise injured knee collapses, leaving room for Ozzie Goldstein to hit him on the head with a vicious kick behind the back. Flash Savage then gets the tag and locks Storm Spillane within inches of the tag to Marvel Malloy, locking the injured babyface in a high-angle Canadian Crab that targets the weak knee and makes Storm Spillane scream in agony before forcing him to tap-out. Probably The American Cobras should have forfeited even before this bout, as the injured cause by The Gonzalez Family was too heavy to overcome and, after this two-on-two, the clinical situation may have worsened. The Canadian Blondes reach the final! [53] In a backstage segment, Laura Catherine Huggins stands right in front of the camera with an angry Dreadnought behind her. The agent talks about Southern Stinger's victory over his client, labeling it pure luck only. The next time Dreadnought gets a chance to get his hands on the madman facepainted vigilante, it will be a different story, and it won't be pretty. Before closing the link, an irate Dreadnought oddly lets loose a few words, threateningly inviting "The Stinger" to show up at LSW Unchained 2022 in just two weeks! [44] As announced on socials, for the first time as LSW Texas Heavyweight champion, Kip Keenan makes his entrance and receives a standing ovation from the nearly two thousand fans in attendance. After recapping how "The American Eagle" royally won and subsequently defended the championship last month, Kip Keenan thanks the crowd for the support and promises to give 110% as champ and face of the promotion. He then thanks babyfaces James Prudence, David Stone and Miller Fforde for having his back ... And after a few seconds here comes James Prudence unexpectedly! "Platinum" apologizes for the interruption, saying though that he cares to congratulate "The American Eagle" for his championship victory, remembering how hard it is to take home that title strap ... Well, actually James Prudence alludes to the fact that he himself should have been the champ for months, if months ago he hadn't been robbed by means of halflings by the then-champion. Kip Keenan replies that "Platinum" is probably right, but now he is the champ and those tained wins, those dirty tricks, all those silly practices won't happen again. James Prudence then picks up the ball, revealing the real reason he walked out on stage: HE WANTS A TITLE SHOT! A fair one versus one fight, and may the best man win! "The American Eagle" thinks about it, and finally replies that he would be fine with it, offering a handshake to James Prudence, who immediately reciprocates. Two top babyfaces showing respect after challenging for the Texas Heavyweight title; will the ownership make this match official? [56] The Heartbreak Express vs The Canadian Blondes for the Mid South Tag Series For the first time in the Finals of the Mid South Tag Series, The Heartbreak Express and The Canadian Blondes are competing for the trophy and the glory, in a match-up we have seen many times before. In fact, these two tag teams are tied 2-2 when facing each other, adding to any victory tonight that extra bit of significance by closing out their "series" as well. In a well-balanced decent match, the two teams keep a slightly lower pace than usual, selling a bit the fact that this is the third bout for both duos tonight. After fifteen minutes, Flash Savage gets caught in the middle of The Heartbreak Express offense as they hit their signature move: THE SCORE! Johnny Needham pins Flash Savage for the 1 ... 2 .. 3!! The Heartbreak Express win the Mid South Tag Series and celebrate in the ring alongside their valet and friend Sweet Tabitha, lifting the trophy while the fans give them a well-deserved round of applause. This marks the first big achievement for Ralph Liotta and Johnny Needham in Lone Star Wrestling!
