1. Not to be mean but stop at 1, 2 and 3 won't happened. What gonna happened is Cena is gonna win and not lose going into WM. To make him look strong. Punk beating him does nothing for anyone. It won't happened.

There's no requirement for Cena to look strong though. If we fast-forwarded to Mania and Cena had the title, whether he lost it during the summer and regained it or held it all that time, wouldn't look all that different to me. In overness, he edges the roster out by far, making the proverbial Mania match-up the same as it'd always look, for the most part.

Not to mention they can always change their minds within moment's notice to have a secondary main-event for the WWE title.

  2. They've jacked on their own storylines for years, grabbing from another pot of gold is nothing special :p

really though, I love the angle personally. It doesn't guarantee a Cena win and both of them have plenty to work with here. Maybe even bring an authority into the play or whatever like back in the day(some McMahon). But that's not looking so possible, with the brand ran by a stupid laptop.

For fellow Always Sunny in Philadelphia fans, a lot of juicy info on there about season 7, the most noteworthy one being that Mac gained 50 pounds to pursue the Mac role... that's gonna be quite interesting to see.

Also, John Polito to guest star as Frank's brother, a Jersey Shore episode, a 2012 episode(I so knew they'd do this, right after the IASIP micro mafia game I wrote), and more.

  4. DAAAALLLLLLAAAASSSS

Oh, what a good heartwarming victory. Watching Kidd and Dirk get that ring.. hell, the whole f'ing team getting their first, the coach, the franchise.. they all broke their virginity, haha. It just feels right. The best part about this is LeBron is finally gonna learn some humility. Great job by the Mavs.

  5. If Heat do win this, I at least want the Finals MVP to go to Wade. He's been putting the team on his shoulders much more consistently than LeBron ever has, been making the plays and at the end of the day, it's still his team. LeBron is just the front passenger who ends up being the game closer a few important games here and there.

Knowing them though, they'll have Wade and LeBron as co-MVPs or some bullshi. Only because he makes more front covers and media hype.

As for Dirk, people are starting to compare him to Larry Bird now. That's certainly big shoes to fill, but if you do talk about today's greatest big man, there's no doubt Dirk would be in the conversation, he more likely edges out the "greatest white big man" category. Either way on that aspect, he's had an amazing showing in the playoffs. You thought the highlight of the postseason would stop at them sweeping the Lakers but they did incredible work against the Thunder as well. And now being able to contain the Heat through at least six games.. this is the stuff where legends are indeed created, and why I want Dirk to get that ring at all costs.

  6. Too many people are preoccupied with the next big star, the next big feud, who should be main eventing, what feuds should happen. Even when these guys reach the peak people are searching for the next person to get there and no-one seems to appreciate things happening just for the now. Everything doesn't have to be geared towards putting someone over and someone else getting a rub at all times. It's all about interesting TV, which is something people often slate the WWE for lacking right now.

Even if that is the case who's to say Cole won't get bigger and bigger and more relevant in the title picture in some way or just use his massive heat to put someone over further down the line?

That's a point I can agree on with. Everything can have an use at a certain degree. Such as during that Rock birthday party special, Rock did his thing, entertaining the crowd with his mic skills.. then they had to get someone to spar with him so they could kick off on a good note - couldn't be a wrestler so that people wouldn't endlessly speculate further, Cole was the perfect guinea pig.

Alex Riley's face turn, the generic way of going at it would be Miz ranting at how he's done everything for A-Ri, but that'd be too straightforward, that's where Cole comes in.

A lot of smarks tend to believe what they find annoying is by all means wrong, and those lines need to be separated a bit. Granted I did want to see Cole out of my TV but if it came down to himself, I'd say he's doing a splendid job with what he's given. Redeeming himself for all those years of chuffy commentating, he got the idea of putting it all out in the open.

  9.
Bad decisions is right, he didn't make one pass to Durant for like a long while during overtime I think. Still though, great players and I echo the prospect of them making the finals. Thunder/Bulls would be ideal for me.

And BHK, we'll agree to disagree on that but if it helps, there's an NBA source somewhere that says Phil wouldn't rule out coaching the Knicks. Of course, whether the source is reputable or not is still unclear so I wouldn't hold my breath on it. He's through with the Lakers but supposedly he could still coach, if the right situation presented itself(or a co-coach position would make things easier for him).

And he would have NEVER been a successful long term champion for WWE. RoH, yes. TNA, maybe. Not WWE.

He is a great worker, yes, I'm not denying that. But he's not a guy you can make WWE-level bank with. Plain and simple.

He got an Iron Sheik run which is still more than guys like Roddy Piper and Jake Roberts ever got. The reason you don't see him as a top level star... is because he's never been let the chance to run with the ball, and they just forbid him that chance right from the get go.

It was a stupid decision. What about Eddie, Rey, JBL, Swagger, Punk and more? Did any of them look like top level stars when they won their first one? Well maybe Rey to an extent as he won it on the big stage but even coming off that first reign, because of the booking he didn't look over for a while, even relegated to UM status upon his return.

The difference with them is they were given a shot to run with the ball. Some of them paid off... some of them didn't. But irregardless they had that chance. Christian never did, it's totally unfair to say he would've never amounted to anything. Dozens of title reigns have been crafted to build up the superstar as he begins his run, to showcase him if he has the skills. Considering they pulled an attempt like this just last year, AND that as mentioned, they have Money Maker as champion on Raw, I'm really perplexed at the outcome and hope there is much more behind it.

  12.
I can't blame him, stuck in a rut as he is when I'm sure he thought he would go places after his first two slightly uneventful World title reigns. Instead he sees the young guys crop up and run past him one after the other, with the tiring schedule something must be getting to him. Same as you Rager, if he left there's not much that would keep me watching.

Continuing on the topic of Christian, another cool thing is he's become the newest Grand Slam champion.
