1. How about "Power to the Leamnomicon"?
 2. My sympathies then. Never worked retail myself (or really anywhere for that matter), but it seems stupid to punish employees for taking the most diplomatic route. I guess that others would eventually exploit that being allowed, but is it so hard for management to look out for lazy workers?
 3. Well in that case, one trick I know of is to go to the back and just wait 3-5 minutes, then come back out and tell them it's not there. Works like a charm and you get a paid break.
 4. Retail sucks, I'm not disputing that. But like everything else in this shitstorm we call life, you have to grin and bear it. Because the back room not having anything else isn't exactly a well known thing outside of people who work in it. I didn't know about that until I was 17 and that was because of Not Always Right. I've noticed that people tend to forget that while this is the twentieth person that day to ask about it and they just want to drive someone's head through a wall, it's likely the first time they've asked. Basically, as good as it feels at that moment (and God does it feel good), it doesn't help anyone to be a dick about someone being ignorant. All it winds up doing is spreading your misery to other people. I don't disagree at all. The problem I have with what you say is that I'm quite similar to these people in interests and have several social issues (e.g. I struggle to look people in the eye, I have minor panic attacks when I'm not prepared for a conversation and I hate being touched.), and I still make an effort to be polite even on my worst days. So I don't see such issues, if they're even there, as an excuse for ignoring a customer and being curt when they finally speak up.
 5. I have to disagree Blackman. If you go into a store and they show no interest in helping you, then they're not doing their job. I'm pretty damned socially inept, but I also understand when I have to just suck it up and deal with people. If you open a store, it's not to create your own little circle of friends (that's just a happy side effect), it's to sell things to people. If you can't be bothered to help a customer when asked, then you shouldn't run a business. Example: Back when I lived in Wyoming, my family and I had to go over to Rapid City, SD to get a decent comic selection. The whole time we were in there, the owner and his friends were playing a game, but he would still pause to get up and ask us if we needed any help finding anything, or if we were looking for anything in particular. And when we got what we wanted, he took the time to discuss some of the books we bought while we paid. That's how you run a store. This is why I love living in the South, politeness is almost second nature to people here (at least where I'm at) and business run by idiots or jerks (barring the wrestling promotions) don't last long around here.

It's some REALLY screwed up logic.

From what I've heard, this is par for the course with how WWE treats their Divas.

 7. Makes you wonder why they keep trying. I hope KENTA does better than I fear, it would be nice to see a Japanese wrestler actually make it in the States again. Also hope they don't stick Devitt with Sheamus, or if they do, at least give it a cool name like Celtic Chaos.
 8. So are they actually going to push him, or is KENTA just going to get the Yoshi Tatsu treatment?
 9.

If you give too much power to the heel can he be a heel? The Authority had every right to take the title from a champion who couldn't wrestle yet had Bryan refuse to vacate the title. In the end he ends up looking bad. It's the same problem people have with Cena being hypocritical and that's because they give the heel too much legitimate points that the typical babyface response doesn't work. Rusev gimmick is basically being a "anti-american" for the sake of being anti american making the babyfaces not look bad for immediately jumping to defend their country.

I didn't say give him no weak points. But as it stands, he and Lana have all the depth of a kiddie pool and the uniqueness of a standardized test. Which doesn't exactly help them when you compare them with the likes of Bray Wyatt, Stardust and the Shield (pre and post-breakup).

Then there's no show in the USA that will work for you.

Tell me about it, I nearly threw my TV out the window the last time I watched Finisher...2.9 Kickout (repeat 30 times), I mean Ring of Honor.

It's a stereotype that works. As Jaysin said you're thinking too hard and when a fan thinks too hard very few shows can hold up.

If had a nickel for every time someone told me I overthink things... So should I just watch wrestling shows like I'm a drooling idiot? Just lie back and think of England? I enjoy action movies, but that doesn't mean I'm just going to shut off my brain and ignore missed potential when I see it. People want wrestling to be seen as more than stupid redneck entertainment, at least I do, but then are perfectly fine with promotions baiting stupid rednecks for cheap heat.

There's actually entertaining things going on in WWE, but then Rusev comes out and all I care to do is change the channel. I don't want to see him lose, I don't want to see him get his comeuppance, I want him to go away and let me enjoy my wrestling show. I also want them to realize that Big E deserves better than jobbing to Kozlov 2.0.

He cares about Russia, because he's with Lana, who is "Russian". I think you're thinking way too hard about this.

No, I'm sick and tired of the same overdone anti-American gimmick with no variance. Why should I give a damn if someone dislikes America? You can't take two steps on the internet without running into someone who hates the US. There's no reason to care or even be annoyed by what some over-tanned blonde and her mediocre gorilla that looks like he's about to void his bowels think of the country. It's just cheap, pointless heat only there to fill time because they don't actually have enough material for three hours.

And all the while everyone else just goes, "It's just wrestling". There will never be another boom until people realize that you need to actually care about what you write and book to get an audience to care about it. Look at Muhammad Hassan, that's how you do a ****ing anti-American gimmick, a heel like that needs some actual points to make in order to really matter to the audience. Is it really so much to ask for some depth to these stories and gimmicks?

I don't need Machiavellian schemes or constant motive rants, I just want to watch a wrestling show from start to finish just once without feeling like the bookers think I'm an idiot.

Plus they explained how Rusev became a Russian citizen weeks ago.

Must have missed it amidst my apathy for this idiotic (and frankly borderline prejudiced) gimmick.

If you begin to complain about people's nationality compared to their character's, than you are watching the wrong form of entertainment. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

That's not my problem, Lana is from Florida and I don't give a damn about that. My problem is that they acknowledge him on-screen as the "Bulgarian Brute", ergo, he is Bulgarian even in kayfabe. Which brings me back to my question of why a Bulgarian would care about Russia, much less be a nationalist.

There were literally hundreds of Americans playing Russian in the 80s, I see no problem with this especially since he's not claiming to be Russian. Just like last year Cesaro being a "real" American

No it's really not the same, Cesaro was treated as a hypocrite and a traitor for being a "real" American, Rusev is just another man from an Eastern Bloc nation that the WWE looked at and went "Eh, good enough".

Although I'm not sure if Rusev just has X-Pac heat/it's still mostly just Lana, but I actually like him a lot, thought his match with Big E was good last night.

Then could you explain to me what people love (to hate) about this guy? Every time he comes out I just see the Bulgarian version of Vladimir Kozlov. And the "Russia number one" crap makes me feel like I'm stuck in the 80's.

EDIT: For that matter, why is a man from Bulgaria, a nation that was only communist for the first four years of his life and doesn't even border Russia, playing a Russian nationalist? Do we want to get a Bahamian in the ring and have him play an All-American?

Marked out for the RamPaige. After Naomi's performance I'm a little disappointed she didn't win the title. Paige got in like, four moves and continued to look like a fluke champion. Seriously, what is the point of even showing us NXT if nothing about the characters carry over?

 14. I enjoyed the first tag match and the first MitB match, everything else just bored me out of my mind.
 15. Jesus Christ! Jeff must be in a constant haze from painkillers (and likely other assorted drugs) to do something that stupid! So what's the point of even bringing the six sides back? TNA spent the last four years convincing their fans that the traditional ring was better and then they just go back to six sides. It's like committing to a concept is pure horror for management.

Personally, I don't get why people care so damned much on either side. Does stuff like this fix racist and classist divides in the US? But at the same time, I don't see why the team name or various emblems matter so much. Teams change logos all the time, and as the Pelicans have shown, name changes don't really affect much either. I'm Vikings fan and I wouldn't give two shits if they changed their name or logo (as long as they don't move to LA).

I'm kinda stuck in this middle ground where I sort of understand both sides, I don't get why they care so much about so little.

As someone who has Native American blood in her and a fan of the team I'm annoyed. I don't find the term offensive and reading things that people are saying makes me ponder things. You have trams with names such as Chiefs, Braves, and Indians who's logo is a red active American depiction yet they fought to be called native Americans.

Now I wonder if the state of Oklahoma will be asked to change their name...

Well first, I've seen people complain about the Indians' logo, but it's baseball, so no one really cares.

Second, those other names aren't slurs. And, as archaic as it is, redskin is one. It's the difference between having a team called the Samurai, and a team called the Japs.

Sure it sucks that the team you love has to change its identity, but this has been a contentious issue for years and clearly enough people think it should change. Besides, they'll probably just change the name to the Indians or something like that. Personally, I'm pulling for Potomac.

It probably won't happen but the idea is just badass.

I also found Carver more interesting than Bethany as there really wasn't much of a relationship between Hawke and Bethany. I get that he had inferiority problems, but for ****'s sake there were more important things going on than his big brother being better than him.

 21. Is it really much of a swear anymore in the States? I never even heard it until I started watching British comedies.
 22.
OK, finally finished Mass Effect 3. And its ending is the video game equivalent to End of Evangelion. Basically the last ten minutes are nothing but a bunch of existentialist bullshit that barely makes any sense, even with the Extended Cut and all the DLC. TBH, I can't think of one time I ever enjoyed the ending to any work of fiction, so maybe it's just me, but I still love the rest of the game (though it could have used a few more months of polish) and the rest of the series.

I think Mass Effect is a series everyone should give a try, just understand that the ending isn't very satisfying and it really needs the DLC to be complete (which is also BS). I'll still buy the next game, I mean come on, what could really go wrong? They make another Dragon Age II?

...forget I said anything.

(Wait, I liked DA2...)

I even solo the MMOs I play.
